the whole thing was viable because you can stack so many sofast but the issue is they dont last but a few seconds and can be completely avoided by running away…confusion was never op…now its almost worthless
and the clone appears first…wtf…i thought the clone was supposed to replace you and you teleport elsewhere…like decoy does…about the only reason i use it now is for extra confusion on the target and to avoid being spiked right then…other than that its totally usless in pve cause the aggro tables dont reset when stealthed so as soon as you come out bam theyre all on you again
can we do something about this because i really dont get why everytime i use it it always puts me it the worst spots…for example…i was in the shaman fractal and used my 2 skill probably 600-700 range from the edge and what do you know i end up in the lava…i was in wvw the other day attacking sm downed at the bottom of the stairs. used my 2 skill what do you know i end up almost in the middle of the lords room…very very very rarely doe it put me anywhere i wouldnt mind being…and if the whole thing is supposed to be deceptive why does it have the clone appear close but not on the same spot as the downed person and appears 2s after being summoned? then the player appears 1s after that…thats not deceptive its just obvious and only delays being spiked for 3s longer…
tbh i really cant tell if broke or just working as intended
im about sick of the nerfs to the confusion builds tbh…it was a great burst style build to bring down the health but its way too easy to counter as it is…ill probably be respecing entirely with this if it goes through

first…a zerker build applying stacks of confusion with no condition damage is only hitting for 130 a stack…thats not a lot when it only lasts a couple seconds…now a full blown confusion mesmer SHOULD be able to take down a group of people to about half health but he wont finish any of them off…thats the nature of AoE…
second…its so easy to counter it isnt even funny…just run away people…that mesmer has to wait for his cooldowns to hit you with it again
ps…i rock a confusion spec mesmer…PvE is very slow…sPvP its a joke…WvWvW really only useful in groups…if you get hit by it its your own fault
youre in level 54 fractals man…the game is scaling…we get 14 or something in level 30 fractals
pointless without it as the range just allows anyone to walk out of range of the 2skill…just bad
wait wait wait wait…going back through this because i have nothing else to do it just dawned on me that you beat that mesmer…and youre calling for a nerf…youve got to be kidding me…theres no way in hell you could call for a nerf after winning a fight
they should remove all the cool downs and lower the chance to proc…or they could go the other way and say every 6s this weapon steals health…thats almost what this looks like to me little chance and major times between procs…
and yeah ive noticed the blood sigils didnt proc very often at all and i crit quite a lot…plus the healing from it is garbage…buff it or have players stop using it in favor of the sigil of life or steal health on swap
i had that issue tonight actually…the first time i noticed it was with loot…the option failed to show about 25% of the time and the option still worked as it should but it doesnt show up…dont know if its just a character issue but:

the loot from the enemy, when someone gets a rare within your party, will go into that chest…if the rare was yours you’ll see an exaggerated sparkle effect with some smoke like properties…otherwise it looks like regular loot sparkles…hope that help

it seems to only be happening for me while in WvW that i cant kick people…then i just leave wvw for a second kick them and come back in but it is annoying if they dont leave before they log

Sigils have an internal CD…if you proc your sigil it wont proc again for another 8s i believe…just a thought
ive never purchased any of the starter kits that used to be in the 1-time purchase menu as i always thought that they were a complete joke…still my menu is empty

i personally am sick of people whining about mesmers…especially d/d eles and thieves…this is what i hear: “WTF? How did i get hit for 8k by a mesmer?” then two minutes late " HOLY COW! i just hit that kitten for 12k with backstab! woohoo!" or “stupid condition mesmer…im a d/d ele”
IMO its to that point where people have tweaked their builds to the point where you can down someone in 2 hits and be stealthed or evading the entire time so theres no chance to even attack back…once you give up your massively overpowered auot-attack then you can complain about a build that sacrifices sooooo much to get a couple high numbers
at higher difficulties the stacks of defiant increase…as with scaling group events the more people the more stacks of defiant…earlier today i did a guild bounty and with 50+ people on half-baked he had 25 stacks
you bought the wrong one…make a video and buy it again if it still is broke then im sure someone will be more than happy to watch it and get it to the right place
yes…the merits are awarded by the highest tier completed not cumulatively through all the tiers…check the wiki…in order to get 25 merits you must do the tier 3 mission
many low “quality” items are level 80…now if it were the same stats and not inline with other trinkets then that would be a bug
the issue im seeing is the temporal curtain wont work at all if you have any swiftness running through it…otherwise it works just fine
i agree with this game being a not grinding for gear game but when i can hit level 55 and do 4 paths of TA every day for a week and a half then buy the TA armor and its the skin i want and the stats i want…that sir is a grind for gear. and then it ends…thats it no more progression in the game except for legendaries which have become a joke and will continue to be a joke until they actually make them worth the ridiculous time for obnoxious skins that are more of a kitten contest of who can grind the fastest or buy gold with cash…you’re sending people away anet
i have an idea lets just give everyone an automatic promo to level 80 with full legendaries of their choice, 150 trait points, full ascended/exotic beserker/rampager/valkryie/ everything gear and give them all 50 million gold and even give the game out for free so the people who complain about kittening everything wont have a god kitten thing to complain about then cause theres nothing to do in the game except enjoy everything being handed to you all like whining kittenes on welfare…if the game is too hard then get better…if you dont like people then go play diablo…if you wanna kitten about a game that is FREE TO PLAY then youre more than welcome to go to another F2P game that you dont talk to anyone, that doesnt have a forum page, that doesnt give a kitten about you, and that no one else plays and stop filling up the forums with kitten

we are a casual guild on the Darkhaven server with some very good players and some hardcore people. we have people very experienced in kitten near every aspect of the game. there are 200+ members currently with more inactive players than we want but we are looking to get 100% activity and participation. we like to enjoy the game so the qq is nil. we have a website and a mumble server. we run fractals (some at lvl 50+) and dungeons constantly. we are looking to plus up on our wvw and spvp areas of the guild but are trying to grow everywhere.

I agree to a point that the infusions were expensive…buuuuut…the +5 stat is a bit useless for the ~100g it would cost. as I have always believed the devs should NOT make the game easier in any way shape or form but make the result worth the effort. so maybe have the infusions add +25-50 stat for the infusions or make the infusions able to be upgraded a few times and make them harder to be upgraded exponentially as the tiers go up. say the first level would take 10 t6 mats, 10 crystals, 5 ecto, and 1 simple infusion. then the next level could be 50 t6 mats, 50 crystals, 50 ecto, 5 tier 1 upgraded infusions of that type. then the next would be 250/250/250/25. then exchange the t6 mats for say 250 shards of mist essence, a bloodstone shard instead of the crystals, 250 ecto, and 125 t3 infusions for the final upgrade…but the stats would be upgraded from tier 1 infusion of +5 to +25 to +50 then for the final tier +150 as that much of a benefit for a full set would be an incentive to max out the infusions. as of right now there are 4 pieces of gear (if i got that right) that will take infusions and 600 power or 600 healing power is a considerable amount given that it would take one hell of a long time to get all four…ANet did say the players want vertical progression so heres a very vertical idea that can be implemented very soon and with a long timeline for the final set. devs have plenty of time to finish up that ascended gear if you decide to take this.
I am really opposed to nerfings that punish organization or pure skill…the portal is a great tool and requires considerable effort to use effectively. why would it be nerfed as opposed to the back-to-back 5-digit damage of some abilities against a full build with toughness as a secondary stat…that to me is garbage and promotes face-rolling keyboards…100% disapproval on this nerf!
