Good points. I didn’t play enough but.. I don’t know anyone who likes using a treb. Enough team fights don’t happen on Stronghold, imo. It should be 6v6.

I’m looking forward to more Mist heroes, and elite specs might mix things up a lot. Stronghold is promising, and I really liked playing it. But as soon as some strict meta develops, I lose interest quickly.

More maps are needed. (Just look at Heroes of the Storm.)

The community made GW1 important to me – I’m actually grateful I played it before Twitch & Reddit became popular. Those platforms have made the gaming community annoying, imo. It’s like the skritt – dumb as a group.

The little nostalgic things like including a ‘downed’ state when you dance in front of Abaddon’s statue and including Ogden Stonehealer in the Living Story – was awesome.

It’s a big step in the right direction. In the future I’ll try to avoid completing missions alone, though. I really liked the instances for 8-12 players in GW1.

Yeah, me too. The boosters are bad because the loot system of GW2 is underwhelming, imo.

I still log on GW1 to check out birthday presents. There’s a chance to get something rare and it’s still funny.

Based on player feedback we decided to keep ranks. We’re still discussing internally what the new plan is going to be. Once we have something set in stone we’ll make sure to let you guys know what’s coming.

“To honor the effort that players have put into the rank system, existing players will be able to keep all unlocked rank finishers and will earn a special title based on your rank to show that you were there from the start.”

That would still be important, but maybe that’s just me. Maybe give a token for new weapon / armor skins for each rank earned or something like that?

and in gw1, ranger was also carried by 1 skill. it was dshot. when you didnt play with it , your built was just a gimmicky one (like bunny thumper, thrasher, enraged lunge).
dshot was one of the best (if not the best) skills in gw1, i wish ranger had a similar skill like it in gw2.

Bunny Thumper was awesome. Pet AI wasn’t tho. (And it was annoying to get body blocked by your own pet.)

The sad thing is, those “gimmicky” builds were better / funnier to play than any GW2 ranger build atm. GW2 has such gimmick builds like spirit ranger xD Other classes have probably even more lame stuff. Idk, GW2 needs more utility (weapon skills) asap.

I miss my sword ranger from GW1. Most of the skills I used were warrior skills but I wish the GW2 ranger had a solid main hand option.

Oh, and assassins couldn’t stealth. “Sic ’Em” is pretty good tho.

I just want to say that I love titles. Nothing will beat the sentimental value of my Legend of the Mists title, though.

I’ll definitely be playing PvP eagerly starting next week.

Alliance Battles from GW1 have been the best PvP I’ve ever played. I’d compare it’s to me what CoD (Domination) is for many people. I doubt it would work without a dedicated healer tho. I’d like to see something like rated battlegrounds / GvG.

I wish ArenaNet could have more than one game alive. I’d play a MOBA based on Guild Wars. Prince Rurik would be the best champion ever, haha!

Looking at numbers, I think you need to separate a matchup in reset, weekend, day of week sections. Also, you have to take into account whether a server is losing / winning (or 2nd).

I’d sell mine if I could Alas, it’s collecting dust on my mesmer. If I hadn’t used it, with my luck the skin would be available again this year. I have a feeling it will be available for a limited time eventually.

Btw, wintergreen weapons:

Gotta remember to visit GW1 Wintersday finale. GW1 is still doing cool things, like Wayfarer’s Reverie. It was possible to get a “Rytlock” mini or tonic.

Posting this here as well just in case. “(6): Summon ravens to attack nearby enemies when you activate an elite skill.” They’re still hawks. I tried it with the ranger elite skill Entangle btw.

Kinda hoping it’s a bug because you added ravens with the scarecrow finisher. It would have been logical to fix the rune. These small details made GW1 great.

I bought the scarecrow finisher and converted the extra gems to buy the runes. It’s very disappointing the “ravens” are still hawks even though you made the finisher which spawns ravens!

Annoyed the NA region will have only two leagues? Sick of blobs? Tired of queues? Well… long story short.. RoF has gone through some tough times. We’ve had many bullkitten matchups in a row, and as a pug depending server that sucks. However, we’re very motivated for the league! The goal can’t be less than to win it. But realistically, RoF needs more — a little bit of everything. Anything starting from solo roamers, scouts, camp flippers, dolly protectors / gankers will be appreciated! A borderlands bloodlust havoc gang would be great. Not to mention a guild. Morning to afternoon is really our weakness but night could use help as well.

What RoF can offer:

• TS3 room even for small guilds / roaming groups. We have a community TS.
• You can make a difference. Become a star, be a leader.
• You can get your WvW season achievements done easily.
• You can win the bronze league.

[PWNY] — EB specialists, they take keeps efficiently.
