I’d like to ask how many people have had similar issues with the Bobblehead mode, if they have. Sounds like it might be similar; not motion sickness, but something else that’s kind of odd.

I know the bobblehead april fool’s patch made the game literally unplayable for me – I don’t really get motion sickness and have some some acrobatics in real life to be quite familiar with quick rotations without much issue – but with the bobbleheads I was dry heaving within around two minutes of playing.

I haven’t played any of the PoF content as I don’t have much desire to play the expansion, but this is a huge deal that should be narrowed down for a fix.

I get motion sickness very quickly with the bobbleheads and also get it, albeit not as quickly, from the mounts.

Same problem as well.

My husband and I both crashing every few minutes in WvW.

Really you can select anything on the ticket form and your ticket will get to the right person eventually. In this case, I would suggest “In-game Issue” and then “Trading Post/Gem Store problem.”

As for refunds: if you’ve had these account-bound items for ages, we won’t be doing refunds because you’ve already derived substantial benefit. If, however, you bought them more recently, we’re doing refunds on a case-by-case basis.

Case by case basis, if you bought it recently you have a chance for a refund, if you bought them some time ago you got your money’s worth.

Not up to you to dictate whether anyone got their money’s worth or not.

Also, the policy is inconsistent with past decisions in which duplicate town clothes, infinite gathering tools, etc. were refunded.

Very hard to understand the lack of consistency regarding refunds. Multiples of infinite gathering tools were refunded, as were town clothes. Now they’re saying no refunds for duplicates of terrace passes, salvaging tools, etc. Makes no sense.

I got hit by plenty of mobs while climbing that spire, and I still got the achievement. Go figure.

I also got the achievement despite being hit by plenty of them.

The same thing happened to me. The unlock lasted only 1 time and is now locked again.

I have been trying to do map completion on a third character and have found a few places where skill points do not display on the map before or after completing the skill point or even after completion of the map. Other people were mapping in the same area and some were mentioning the same problem in guild chat.

Diessa Plateau – Veruta Beefhawker

Both these skill points do show up on the map for my other 2 characters who have previously achieved 100% map completion but do not show up for the one on which I am presently trying to get 100% map completion.

Hubby and I both got in. Looking forward to trying it out.

I received one from the log in reward “chest of black lion goods” so you can get them that way as well as for the achievement point reward chests, which usually give a few.

Yes please. As someone who has severe visual impairment, this would be helpful. Not only do all the extra visual effects make it nearly impossible to see anything at times, they are also extremely painful some times – like getting stabbed in the eyes.

Might be hard for someone to help you without a screenshot. If you look at these galleries, it might help you.

If you put a sigil of bloodlust on one of your underwater weapons, you will not lose the stacks.

Similar situation here. I told my husband I would make him any legendary he wanted (before I even had one) and he picked the Dreamer – just finds it funny killing things with rainbows and unicorns! OTOH, I would give anything for the chainsaw greatsword – love that.

My husband had a similar issue – lost his phone and put in a support request. Customer support was able to remove the authenticator for him and then he re-installed it using his new phone. He only had to wait a couple of hours after putting in his ticket for customer support to resolve the issue.

My husband got one of these and since it’s the only ascended weapon or armor chest he’s ever received, he does not want to waste it. To which profession are carrion stats most useful? Thief? Engineer? Thanks for any help.

I’ve been getting a number of exotic drops in WvW as well as a number of spoons so perhaps you are just on a very unlucky streak – everyone goes through that now and then!

Despite having the molten pick and wishing I had the watchwork pick, I don’t think that removing the bonus from the watchwork pick is fair to those who purchased it knowing it had that bonus. Also, the molten pick was originally 800 gems and soulbound but the upgrade to account bound was free so it was initially 200 gems cheaper than the watchwork pick.

The problem is with the Flesh of the Master trait according to the above link. Supposedly, if you choose a different trait instead, you will no longer have this problem. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon!

If you’re going to buy a precursor, putting in a buy order is worthwhile and will save you a lot. I bought a precursor to make a legendary for my husband and the order was filled in less than 24 hours (and saved me in excess of 100g).

Agreed with one exception. All feminists (not most) do not believe that all men are stupid and bullheaded. If one believes otherwise, one is, by definition, not a feminist since feminism is about equality for all, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identification, etc. His statement about feminists was offensive towards feminists but primarily displayed a lack of knowledge about what feminism represents.

Doubtful. I have seen much more discriminatory and offensive comments in map chat and from what I have seen, nothing is done about them, especially if the negative comments are about women. Seemingly misogyny and the like are acceptable in this game.

Ascended and Legendary items do remain Account Bound even after applying sigils to the items. I’ve done this with a few items.

Hopefully the lumber nodes will be moved around. In the home instance in Salma District, not only is the one node practically on top of the obelisk shard, but I have a group of Hylek in a circle around the shard making it even more difficult to access either the shard or the node.

The armor is level 35 and the runes are level 39.

The location you are using has already been approved, likely by e-mail authentication previously. If you go to “My Account”, “Security” and then remove the location under “Authorized Networks”, you will be asked for a code.

I felt exactly the same way as you do – frustrated that WvW mapping was required – so I definitely understand your frustration. Also, I was not meaning to imply that you were being impatient – just that it can take a long, long time for the map colours to rotate in your favour. In addition, remember that many WvW players do not appreciate having to map PvE to acquire a legendary so it does go both ways.

As someone making her first legendary now, Terrahero’s suggestion to work on accumulating the other parts for the legendary you want because it is a lot of stuff to collect.

What Terrahero said. I was incredibly frustrated completing the map with my first character – took more than 2 months for the colours to rotate in my favour. Completion was much simpler on my second character. I can definitely relate to your frustration but with a little bit of patience, you will get there!

I didn’t receive the reward for completing the meta achievement, and neither did my husband on either of his two accounts. I thought the reward was supposed to be after the tournament finishes this evening so perhaps the bug is actually people getting the reward earlier than they should.

I’m legally blind and I find ranger (longbow + sword / warhorn) and guardian (greatsword + scepter / focus) easiest to play. I also like playing elementalist (staff), necromancer (staff + dagger / warhorn) and Mesmer (greatsword + staff) but they are not as simple / safe. I always manage to get my warrior killed a lot (but that is probably just me!) and the engineer is fun but more tricky. I find that with a bit of practice, none of them are impossible to play despite not being able to see very much.

Don’t blame all of us on HoD. Many of us were there from the head start weekend.

Also, I might be the only one but I don’t like the influx of people to HoD, despite most of them being very nice and helpful. Sure we are doing better but there is all too often non-stop bickering between original & new commanders / players. It’s only a few players on each side doing all the bickering but some times, it goes on and on and on and on ….. very annoying.
