I have a feeling you never played before HoT. Or forgot that things like medi guards, signet thief, zerk war etc.
I’d fight old medi guards. At least, they were fun to fight. :P
I will agree that warrior is overnerfed when they will start getting reported for simply playing the class – which i don’t see happening as warrior is still pretty strong, especially considering that other classes got nerfed as well.
The nerfs were bound to happen. If you were half decent you could easily 1v2, 1v3 on war for ages if not even win those fights. There wasn’t a single counter to them (where for example necro countered engi, dh countered thief etc.) besides ganking them with multiple teammates.
Warrior is extremely easy to counter if you know what to watch for… burn CDs when they pop berserker stance and run around in circles for a few seconds with maybe a dodge. After it’s gone, go on blind spamming them again or whatever. Also trigger their CC when the fight starts to ensure that they won’t have it up when they’ll need it. Ez pz. That’s how you countered a warrior pre-patch…
I am a necro that gets smashed by Berserkers and does not like it.
Post patch beating a Berserker is too easy even without my broken chill sigils.
On my mesmer I dont even need to run nullfield or disenchanter to strip their boons. a sigil and a few sword clones/myself auto attackings will do the job just fine. it is kinda sad.I agree that warrior got overnerfed even to things that did not deserve it. shield bash? hello? it looks funny watching wars trying to use it. the few warriors who run vanilla will feel it more than anyone else. thanks anet you are making core specs viable again!
way to go anet, we making way for the new power creep of xpac 2? history repeating itself? maybe communicating with the this crappy community here that did write up nice ideas might have given u better insight on what to nerf and how to nerf it and where to draw the line.the only thing you guys can do is put up skins that are half heartedly baked on the gemstore. good job. get new people to do this kitten properly.
Nah! We need to buy our 4 second Enderp Pains back from the Gem Store. New selling strat! ;3
I wonder if people seriously played a post-pacht warrior before write stuff like this… or played with another profession against his own builds before… honestly…
But anyway… to the matter:
Shield Bash, Arc Divider, Headbutt: risk/benefit ratio. (counting human time response and network delay).
Endure Pain: it is the same ratio of active up-time vs cooldown. But wait… you get more vigor if traited… isn’t it? (one boon more to strip… yay)
Bloody Roar: have you ever been affected by this conditions… you sound like you only play warrior…
Eternal Champion: look it from the bright side… you need to be CCed 3 times when you activate berzerk mode.
Healing Signet: this change is like… meh… how much do you lose..? like 10hp per second..?
And… you biggest complain… you CAN use the annulment sigil too… can’t you..? it is the best to achieve the infamious warrior lock stun…
Stability is the first thing to go in boon rip and last I checked, this game has plenty of that esp now since Expansion (lol, raids and break bars). Stability is one of the things that keep warriors up in a fight and keeping pressure since we do most of our damage in melee for quick bursts. Most people run a sigil that removes a boon so… yup…
I mean, Weakness alone counters one of warrior’s grand master traits, lawl.
I’ve fought some Warriors today. Their animations hardly got nerfed. Headbutt is still fairly unseeable unless my rxn time is simply awful, the mace CC spam is real, I guess the only thing really affected was GS.
Now to Druid and Guardian. I still see Dragonhunters everywhere, but less Druids. I would say Druids have taken Revenant’s place vice versa.
I’ve dodged most headbutts pre-patch… I don’t see what’s so hard… just don’t waste all your dodges so early. :|
The problem with many things in this game atm do not have any COUNTER PLAY to the opposing class. I think immob should be excluded from this or an ICD as a gud thief should never be caught by something like that in the first place. People did just fine back pre-HoT. One problem is that every thief’s “evade frame” is completely independent to THEIR connection, so I’ve found some thieves easier to hit than others even though they are rofldodging everything and both equally skilled. Second problem… it’s so kittening boring to fight. For a pro, there should be a con… imo.
In before “owned by thief”, I did just fine before this patch but since this patch, everything that I play, a thief just destroys it killing this game for me. Skill isn’t even a factor anymore… most carried by condi. There isn’t really anything to keep thieves in check right now.
Thief mechanics are cancer right now. There’s a problem when servers are full of thieves. Definitely worse than when necromancers had over-powered chill tick damage. It’s quite the “choking gas” joke. :P
This is what I used pre-patch and it did well.
Now with the sustain a warrior has, it puts a lot of pressure with damage and stuns:
Never been a fan of double enderp pain because you are giving up too much damage just for sustain. The trait should be enough ESPECIALLY now. Might sig is great for Mesmers, Revs, sometimes Thieves, Engineers, and Guardians since they all use blocks as a crutch. Bulls charge is a 3 second knockdown, so you can get almost a full 100b out plus last hit now.
Have fun!
I would have preferred condis to boons on F1 use.
I love my boons. <3
Alright. I got to play with it a little more last night and it definitely felt like warrior did in the past. Last night I was jumped by two thieves, but blocked when I needed to and stunned when I needed to and ended up winning. One was condi p/d and idk what the other one was, but they both had dash builds. They were good, too, because I’ve played with them before. Warrior definitely feels beast like before.
I thought people didn’t want passives in the game anymore. /sarcasm
IDk why people are complaining about this change.
Last night I played and I didn’t see a Necro and was like “oh god… not another reaper” and dreaded the fights. I fought most classes last night and it was really fun. Now that Warriors have a lot more sustain, we are more back to “dancing” rather than “hope I land my burst otherwise I’m ef’ed”.
Overall, it feels better, so I am down with the current state of the game atm. At least, until some min maxers find some other OP boring carry me builds to fight against again.
After playing revenant with facet of elements i feel handicapped playing warrior w/o warrior’s sprint trait.
IMO every class who runs elite spec should have swiftness passive, as this game is about running everyplace.
At one point, that was what helped Warrior be strong. Sig of Rage was pretty much perma swiftness with fury and might. Rev can stand there and do NOTHING and gain what? 12 stacks of might and perma swiftness? GG
That’s what helped warriors catch up to their enemies, but now that swiftness, quickness, GTFO skills are all over the place as high up time and passives, Warriors have a much harder time keeping up with anything making us easily to be kite-able.
Also, Revs have 1200 range gap closer… lawl… That needs to be reduced with the swiftness buff only affect themselves (not the party) IMO.
I bet Trueshot would do more than 17 critical dmg hitting them… hue hue…
I run Scorpion Wire on my teef and it has it’s moments. It’s mostly a slow projectile, so you have to use it wisely or up close to keep someone CC’ed. You can also pull people from rezzing if they don’t have stab. Or my favorite, pull then steal to switch places. That’s always fun! :P
Scorpion Wire will be MLG in my book. It’s fun to use.
Agreed with above. Might sustain was something Warriors could bring to a party. With Revs being an aura of Might, Warriors lose a huge roll in PvP and PvE. Being that Revs has access to on-demand unblockable attacks and tons of survival, that should be enough to take down someone without might.
Last night, these Hotjoin Hero Revs were stacking on the same team, but me and a few others keep at it and tried to go vs them. Finally, I gave up and switched to play Rev and I NEVER play Rev. Warrior is my class and will always be.
Anyways, I played S/S Staff and only understand about half of the class mechanics and me switching to Rev made a HUGE difference for my team. That’s mostly button mashing and hoping for the spike landings. Since they all played Shield revs, I just waited for their Shield 5 and went unblockable. GG.
Shiro Sword AA > finishing off people… wut?
With that said, Rev is boring and I hate playing it and it sucks that people can get kitteny for being carried by a class rather than actual skill. Next looking at – most – Necros and Engis using the meta builds.
PS: Revs shouldn’t grant party swiftness either.
@ interpret, 800 eviscerate? So its nerfed now?
It used to do closer to 10-15k vs zerker builds if it landed. You could one shot zerker mesmers. Ahh… the good ol dayz….
I’m just curious if anyone else noticed this. I know it isn’t much, but I have tried to reflect the AA of mesmer’s scepter to produce a clone and it does not work anymore. Works with wall of reflection and teef’s elite spin to win.
Anyone else experiencing this behavior?
Ranged weapons AA should never be “good”, maybe alright. It’s supposed to allow you to kite and stall, but do minor dmg in the process. Ranger should do slightly more just for being a ranger.
…but that’s balance talk and this is ANet.
I’d also like to add that we have a “Grand Master Trait” that increases our Burst Skill crit chance by 100%. If you have weakness (yes, just weakness) on you, you still have a chance not to crit.
Warr OP, plz nerf.
Warrior’s dps is literally the least reliable, people still haven’t caught on that 100b dps NEEDS to be setup. You need to setup before you can even attempt to use it and hope you don’t cc’ed out the wazoo. Warrior = melee class with the least survivability. It was ok in the past since there were a lot fewer aoes, now its aoe hell, warrior will be bottom of trash tier.
Seriously A-Net does not even attempt to speak at all about warrior’s current predicament because they simply do not care. They don’t even bother looking in the warrior forums and too busy catering every other forums to make sure their needs gets met.
I normally don’t have an issue landing my 100b. It just doesn’t have enough pressure currently to make people go “oh kitten”.
They should make 100b unblockable or something for as much setup it takes though.
not everyone can. And they shouldnt have to
I recomended this in my post a week or so ago.
1st off, if you are playing Ranked, and you think your are good enough to be in Ranked with your thief or warrior or whatever, than roll with the punches and play where, with and against whoever you get matched against. Dont kitten out and say “Im kittened” and swap to something else because you cant deal with Eles, Mez or Revs and your class sucks on whatever map you got. Learn to kittening adapt, or play a class you are good with.
2nd, not everyone has the time to play and become proficient with 3 or 4 classes and they shouldnt have to. The game is, or at least should be, taking into account group composition when making matches. For someone to then swap chars before the match starts would result in breaking the matchmaking system. I was even once told that part of the MMR system took into account your specific win/loss record with the class you are logged in with. A guildmate of mine who programs for ANET; however does not on PvP, did think that was a part, but couldnt be 100% certain since it is not the area they work with.
3rd, and a problem for a different reason, I have seen too many people try to swap chars, both on my teams or the other teams, and not get back in time. Match starts out as a 4v5 and the short handed team ends up so far behind and cant catch up. We already have issues with losing pips and double pips due to crap like that, we shouldnt be encouraging people to take the risk of logging out and back in for a better matchup.
Yeah I have been seeing this, too. Too many people tend to exploit game mechanics (outside of actual combat) rather than just playing the kitten game as it is. Anet should just give everyone wins for trying. It’s casual right? ;P
Oh no, other people have stealth. The world is ending……
It’s not necessarily the stealth that is the problem. It’s the target dropping for hard hitting classes that aren’t as squishy at teef/mesmer.
If warrior had stealth, people would all be kittening. No more baiting for dodges? Yus plz.
I like Shatterstone the way it is.
It helps me troll in PvP.
R.I.P. sPvP ele. We have no options. 13k hp facepalm. How it even possible to play? I don’t wana play Call of Duty sPvP. Cele was one options for ele. All builds was made around cele amulet. And now what? Ele has no defense. Sustain was our defense. Now staff is simply usless (no defense weapon skills), d/d and d/x usless because of one reason, we dont have defense and cant melee with 13k hp. Omg i done with ele sPvP. Power builds will just destroy us. What reason behind all this weapon cobinations d/d, d/w, d/f? Melee weapon comb cant survive with out cele. Anet your so lazy.
Can’t your class get over 45 seconds of prot with tempest? :|
Your health pool is supposed to go up and down. When I was hardcore playing ele (pre-HoT), that’s what mine did all the time to the point that I stopped worrying about it. And I’m not talking about celest D/D. :P
Are you sure you were in Zerker amulet and not Magi’s or Sentinals? MM Necro, even in Soldiers amulet, is nowhere close to that tanky.
Nope, they had soldiers and I was full zerker ammy.
I was also running Str, Arms, and Disc.
Warrior dmg is a joke anyways, but I still try. :P
(100 feathers)
You underestimate the power of a necro’s shroud. :P
(edited by Krittz.6013)
I don’t think Soldier’s should be removed. It has been a part of many non-game-breaking builds in previous metas, indicating that it is not a problem. The same could be said of celestial, although a lot of players direct hate toward it. I just think the removal of celestial will really hurt elementalist/tempest, which only seems to be viable in a support role as it is. I’m not sure removing Celestial is a good idea; it might be better to tone down the problematic builds that use it, instead.
Settler’s, I’m in two minds on. There have never been any good builds from it, game-breaking or otherwise, so it’s not problematic in that regard. However, I have seen many players think they are being useful by running it in a build when they are really just being extremely ineffective, but refusing to listen to anyone attempting to help them see why. So with that in mind, removing it could be of some benefit, while keeping it will be of no foreseeable benefit, so I suppose it’s logical to remove it.
Sentinels is just bad for PvP, for the same point about Settler’s and bringing about ineffective builds that the user thinks is strong, and more. I agree with removing it.
I can assure you that it makes things stupid tanky. Try to kill a zoo necro as a warrior full zerker even. They can just stand there and rotate their shrouds and just outlive you most of the time. Yes, by STANDING there. This includes 100b, all burst skills, 25 might due to pets… etc.
I will enjoy this fix very much.
More skill > build/numbers, plz.
I’ve had a team of 3 thieves pre hot and thought we were going to lose. I teased about “ew thieves”, but I also said prove me wrong. They got into a good rotation of capping as I stayed at mid. By the time, I was getting too much pressure, they’d come around and burst the guy and move on. THAT’s a thief’s job IMO. Thief utility is great.
People boast about how great they are in 1v1s, but in a real fight, it’s all about teamwork and team communication. A thief’s evade spam (or only running) doesn’t kill people nor help their team; just gotta git gud.
For mesmers, they stun and daze which gives them a lot of control over a fight. There really isn’t a counter because most run boon strip, so your stuck wasn’t skills just to survive while they bounce around the field teleporting and stealth. I feel the window is far too small to actually attack the mesmer (and i’m talking about the good ones). And plz, get rid of the blind spam. They have no need for that…
For DHs, make their blocking virtue should only do reflection imo (not block). Their counter to melee is traps and they use a LB, so there is no need for many seconds of blocking vs melee. They should be kiting melee… (holy kitten, counterplay)
Just thought I’d add my thoughts since this topic is more official.
They changed it so you can do it mid channel now.
The channel bar will be off, but it still works at the correct speed.
I rarely ever see it bug out due to this though since that patch.
100 feathers needs to be more pressure IMO. Running full zerker just doesn’t do it in today’s meta (PvP). People rez people out of it and they don’t even lose 50% hp while eating it (this includes less tanky ammies). Even if you manage to get the last hit in, it still isn’t hard enough to make people go, “oh kitten! that hurt!”.
People need to realize that warrior takes CDs and skill to get off a burst, but when your burst is a whole 4k on most targets… it’s not enough pressure and you have lost CDs because of it. I do everything I can to land as much as I can even in today’s meta and our “burst” is easy to counter or just simply out heal…
Shouldn’t melee attacks be more rewarding anyways? Not like we’re standing at 1200 doing 8k attacks on 1-5 skills like other classes (Trueshot).
Also, our leaps are garbage compared to everything else the other classes can do now. I remember when warrior was hard to outrun, now almost everything outruns it.
Warrior is just out of date and needs some more shiny new updates like the other classes. I do about if not more damage using older builds without Berserker which I DON’T have to worry about my adren levels as much and it is simply more fun… sad really.
Actually, it will probably be more of the opposite. Being that we have to learn more about what bursts other classes have now instead of 101 ways of just passively surviving, if they do get nerfed, they’ll be ezzy pezzy.
People are saying it’s too much like Virtues, but isn’t the guardian supposed to be the Defensive supportive heavy (passive aegis, blinds, regen) and the warrior is supposed to be Offensive support heavy (might, fury)? I don’t see how making stances default for warrior would make it like Guardian. Still very different mechanics overall esp with a Burst (F1) for warriors (which hardly hits anyways in current PvP meta, lol – blind blind blind block block…).
You cannot really knock warrior. Their condi burst is insane in Berserker. You don’t really see “the numbers”, but things burn out really quickly especially when you start gathering condi gear (viper’s/sinister’s). LB is a ranged weapon and you can burn out multiple targets if you line yourself up correctly. Sword/Torch for melee; da meltz.
I prefer mixing it up as a warrior rather than just being a boon aura machine and spamming 1 (Rev) for best dps. Suggest trying them out in Heart of the Mists on some dummies/npcs first since you have everything unlocked there before wasting your time leveling something you don’t really like playing.
warrior was balanced, but then everyone else shot past the balance point.
now, everyone else is balanced, warrior is under powered.
This is an interesting statement. I always thought thief is the only balanced class as of July patch and everything else shot way past the balance point. I have to try warrior/berserker in pvp now it seems.
I play both thief and warrior (unfortunately with current meta) and I feel the reason why they are the most balanced is they actually have to land hits to get benefits. If you miss, you’re ef’ed. Cloak and Dagger miss? You don’t get stealthed. Miss with Evis? Lose all adren (or any burst skills).
Would be interesting if Rev’s sword 3 skill failed to hit it’s initial hit, it fails to evade or cancels the skill. Reaper was updated in beta to gain more LF for AAing if I’m not mistaking? It’s a high burst shroud; let them starve themselves if they want to spam their Reaper skills. And so-on.
There was a Mesmer in PvP and I stated that the blind spam really isn’t needed due to their stealth, invulns, teles, etc. Their reply was “it fits my play-style so I like it”. I’m sure if Warrior had blind spam, people would be all ranting. People still think Healing Sig is “OP”, lawl.
This is by far the most skilless kittened trait in the game right now. It counters EVERY SINGLE condition build by simply being afk.
How much of an exaggeration can you make?
Did you know that Healing Signet counters EVERY build by simply being afk?
I wish this was true, LOL.
They will probably tone down the damage for the other specializations first, then buff what is needed. As the other posters said, I cannot fully agree more.
I, as someone that pvp A LOT, I haven’t done PvP in about two weeks now because warrior is my main, I enjoy the play style and it’s just “me”. Unfortunately, no matter how great I play, even a so-so skilled player can just use overpowered gimmick class mechanics to put them at the top. Hardly any counter-play…
Why can’t we actually get a benefit for landing a burst skill (which doesn’t really burst anymore). Like, remove the adren loss if the burst actually hits. As I see it, the warrior class is currently high risk and “okay” reward. DH, for example, is low risk high reward. Trueshot can hit for 8k… KS rarely even hits that as a zerker build and that’s the class’s core mechanic?
I know balance isn’t easy, but this is pretty bad… :/
In a way, all of this is helping me be more productive with my real-life skill sets, so I guess this is not too bad. :P
The problem really isn’t with the berserker line though (well it is, but here’s why). The real problem is that the core warrior is designed for group “offensive” support and raw damage. Revs do what we can do better with even more boons plus stacking might (may not be a max 25 all the time like PS but they also grant others constantly, too, WHILE doing very good damage output bursts). With the exception of warrior support skills, the others are very selfish. Enderp pain (stances in general) and so this doesn’t help us being stuck with a single build in PvE.
As for PvP, our burst skills are “meh” in most cases and may be blinded, invulned, blocked, etc… not really even devastating in PvP even IF you do land it (no benefit to land it, if you miss, you lost something important).
Speaking of Adren, why do Necros get to keep their LF after combat and we don’t? “Because it’s harder to get?” That’s BS. Full LF necro is WAAAAY more difficult to take down than one that doesn’t have any – even half.
Anyways, our conditions WERE good until they gave us torment on S OH 4 – zzzzzz. I remember spiking people for 22 bleeds which is crazy damage even without burning. Purge it? That’s fine, have at least another 10 right after. LOTS of pressure. Torment is alright, but it was a hidden nerf IMO.
Warrior just hardly has any true pressure anymore and too many passives (in PvP). Counter-play is a must; not el-oh-el chronomancer blind/invuln/stealth/1v3 with ease – which is already a joke.
Core class needs to be updated and berserker should just be power based or perhaps make the bursts strong with a BENEFIT (adren regen maybe?).
IDK, just throwing my opinions out there. What do you think?
Just run with full zerker and don’t bite off more than you can chew (know when to run and what to fight). Hammer works great for CC (also helps group with breakbars) and GS is generally good for group might stacking DPS with PS (group events/champions). And mobility! Banners for group fights; solo use whatever you want instead. I haven’t had any issues.
I noticed the same, really. I do more damage with axe MH than I do with GS, regardless of whether or not I land even half of HB. Only problem with axe MH now is Evis crits for like 6k tops and is immuned/missed/evaded randomly from passives now.
Great! At least I was not the only one to notice this. Same with the other response.
Honestly, I feel as if Enderp Pain should be trait only and give us something better to use throughout the fight as a utility. Like a mesmer can avoid multiple bursts due to the versatility of the class (perhaps too much in some cases aka blind on every shatter?).
For VS a warrior example, I second a thief and when I fight other warriors, I just attack until berserker stance is up then run and hide for 8ish seconds and when I see Enderp pain, I just blind spam. GG warrior; I only usually die when I get play with my food too much, lol.
This game has way too many passive survival skills in it’s current state. Not talking about warrior, but all classes in general. There comes a point where you can land everything “perfectly” which has happened on my warrior and people just walk away like nothing even though I baited the dodges and did everything I was supposed to do. Currently, too many passives overshadow the skill levels of the players.
Perhaps this is related to the newer content in HoT, but I still run full melee zerker warrior and very rarely need to change out to a survival skill once I learned the mechanics. Should we blame casuals for this?
The good news is I don’t have to repeat what has already been said on this thread and on others.
I’ll just add my single note that, lately, even if I manage to get off a full 100b, I hit like a wet noodle. Example:
Just last night, I saw a teammate down a warrior and saw two people to rez the warrior up. So I pop my stab so I don’t get knocked down by the warrior’s downed skill. The rezzers was a necro and another class I couldn’t pick out. Prob an engi I think. I had a zerker amulet equip with holbrak runes. That was a moment a zerker warrior should shine. Three targets to get might from GS crits/zerker? What could go wrong!? Everything; they all three ate the 100b and the WW and one ate a guaranteed crit with intel sigil on axe. After all of that, the warrior gets rezzed, none of them were at even half hp… wut? What is a warrior supposed to do now to even do damage? I’m shy of full zerker spec in PvP and people can stand in 100b? I know for a fact some of them weren’t tank specs either. I expected to down at least one of them.
Oh well, I will just keep at it and keep using my wet noodle GS and hope for a buff sometime within the next year. :P
I really did not know where to put this, but why don’t we have templates for builds and still no death cam?
Templates – The older system allowed you to just say “my build is 66002” or “20660” or w/e and the traits are usually self explanatory. Now, you have to know the name of the lines and up up downs and yeah… who really wants to say all that? This was implemented in GW1, so why haven’t we seen this available in GW2 yet? You can see “templates” (other people’s builds) in PvP hotjoin, so why not just use the same interface?
Death Cam – You are dead in a dungeon with nothing to do, but look at the shameful gameplay you just performed to be laying there dead (or you die in a corner and you cannot see anything at all :/ ). Once again, in GW1, you could select a party member after you were dead and, at least, follow them until you can get rezzed to fight again.
I’d rather like these features to be implemented and I am sure others would, too. I do not make home of these forums, so if these issues have already been prepped for solving, I apologize for this post. If not, back me up!
Dagger is a viable choice due to they are used in real combat rather than S/S combinations. S/D provides more parry/riposte style attacks. Honestly, I hate how they moved a on demand cripple as the last attack in the AA line. I preferred it on call when it was on number 3.
I did not read through everything, but does the AOE F1 skill still remove all conditions using LB with the Cleanse Ire trait still even with these changes?
At what point are you seeing players join teams from spectator mode? Rewards are based on time played on a team, so are people forgoing partial rewards to be on the winning team?
I’ve watched people who consistently join a game – and if their team gets about 50 points behind, will swap to the other team that’s winning… and back again if the tables turn.
One night I ran into a really obvious abuse of it, and I called the guy out on it. When called out on it, aside from a lot of raging and calling me a “worthless n****r” (stay classy.) He tried to claim he was justified in abusing the system, and in the end his final argument was the circular logic of “lol it’s hotjoins.” The problem is, hotjoins are terrible because of players like him, who then use the excuse that hotjoins are terrible so it’s totally okay that they do it. PS: I have video of this abuse. The guy would even announce he was switching.
I’ve called out several others I’ve caught blatantly team swapping when their team starts losing, and they all end up with the same “lol it’s hotjoin” and continue to be the plague that makes many hotjoin games awful and ludicrously lopsided.
I had someone that sat at the spawn point when they were losing because they still got points for it. He specifically even said that this was the only game that he could PvP and get rewarded for doing nothing – literally. Time shouldn’t be a factor (ranked or not); if it is, should be a very small portion of “participation” (gold star). I can run around on a crap team and still score at least 100 points in hotjoin without any issues, so people that complain need to get off their butts and just play the kitten game.
Lol. I was just going to make a post about this.
I’d also like to add that the AI from runes can do more dmg than the player that summoned it sometimes… like wut? O.o;
IDK why people think “dueling” is important in this game. The few times I’ve dueled, I have not had a single issue setting it up, dueling, and end.
Besides, most people that talk a big game usually say something along the lines of “I bet I can win you 1v1. I am going to get on my <insert 1vX class/build here> and own you”. If I wanted some cheese, I’d just go into tPvP. Plenty of that there already.
Some people play for story and some people play for rewards…
I enjoyed everything so far with this living story.
There is a lot more to the dialog than the face value gives…
They hint at a lot of stuff that hasn’t even been fully explained yet, but I know I have my assumptions. Cannot wait to see if I am right or not.
Neither. Earth 10: Gain Protection when gaining an aura.
D/D is by far not OP. As long as you can sustain yourself enough for them to mess up a rot, there is you chance to take them down. D/D is very unforgiving vs another great player/build when you screw up. Also, protection is amazing for an ele. Arcane Shield is also a life saver (knowing when to pop that will save you from nasty bursts).
