Thats grouping is for. If i want help i team up. If i am solo and run into remote areas of the map to try “something” on not even hostile mobs i can be sure the next player passing by will oneshot my mob. And guess what? I did it and asked politely not to kill my trash mob, but no answer, nothing.

Its just annoying, sometimes i WANT to solo and decide to do so. I am not taking away something from other people like trying to solo champions or events.

Play them all. I would think unless some things change with meta builds having 1 toon for all game modes might not be the best way to go. Try them all, have fun, experiment. Welcome back!

You are 100% right about event mobs or champions and so on. I am talking that i am being “helped” on every single trash mob. What do people think? “Oh this 1/2 down moa may kill this full health player, lets help him”. They stated previously they have no intention of bringing back Underworld or Fissure of Woe as the original designers are gone and they cannot do them justice. I would love any iteration of FoW or UW myself as well.

Different levels for sure. Tiered levels with corresponding rewards.

I think it should stay. Easy potions for reward track. Easy daily category as its available from the spawns for Warg, Harpy. Nothing wrong with it.

We just need more ways to acquire tickets. I repeat Diamond tier 6 rewards multiple times a week. I think they should add diminished ticket amounts upon completion. I also think they need to stop resetting progress weekly on peoples chests.

Molassas Muscles is extremely well known on Maguuma. He has single-handedly led mobs to defeat the ever elusive Grub. I, for one, follow him around exclusively and preach to the masses in regards to the size of his zerg. Constantly trying to apply pressure to his tail to help bring up the rear. One unit moving gracefully in perfect harmony. The thrill of that push as you hit the tip head on and just watch intently as the sweat is starting to drip, emotions are flaring and all you can do is scream out YES MOLASSAS YESSSS PUSH PUUUSH PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUkittenhen you loot that bag as it auto loots into your inventory and you rejoice and embrace as you collapse to tag. Such empowerment.

As one of those players with well over 100k badges I would love this.

I have basically everything needed to craft the staff so instead of letting me enjoy the game and actually play it I’m forced to wait for roughly a quarter of a year until I can actually craft my staff. Is there any other way to get the elder glob residue? I’d definitely spend more recources to get it faster.

Yeah, you do have to wait. Or you could buy them on the TP. Or you could ask guildies or friends to make their 1 a day for you as well. I mean you can craft 1 a day. If you havent been doing that then really you are only time gated by your own doing.

I really like the outfits. I own all of them. I just wish we could mix and match pieces of the outfits with other armor pieces. Not cross match outfits, just pieces of 1 outfit with armor.

I think I have about 30 of these and have already made the gift as well.

Don’t die. If you do, way point very quickly and get your loot. Pretty simple really.

Put it up in LFG. There are probably many people who need it. That challenge is super easy. You will finish with like 10 minutes to spare.

I also have almost 6000 unspent points. I would hope in the future they would allow us to add points beyond what they already have in place. Maybe like they did for pact provisioner except to turn the newest armor into legendary. Maybe function sort of like a Mastery. Rank 3k to be able to turn Triumphant into Legendary. Add 2000 points into trait line X and then unlock the ability or something.

I really enjoy my 15 pips per out-manned tick.

@Feanor: that principle worked well for many console games. I started playing games in the 90’s, and games at that time started easy and got harder and harder the further you proceeded. It’s also how humans learn in other environments. You start speaking/writing with easy sentences, that’s not a habit you keep when learning more about writing.

That’s how Guild Wars 2 works. It starts easy (low level open world PVE), gets tougher (dungeons / low tier fractals), gets even harder (higher tier Fractals), then the ultimate PVE challenge (Raids). Along the way you have easy events, moderately challenging events, and the hardest events possible (like Dragon’s Stand). I don’t see people asking for an easy mode Dragon’s Stand, or an Easy mode Chakk Gerent and so on.

And even within Raids there are easy Raid encounters and hard Raid encounters. Getting progressively harder the further you proceed is exactly how Guild Wars 2 works.

To be fair Chak Gerent was made considerably easier a while back. Have burned Ogre lane on first burn in the past. Yes it still fails sometimes but that is player error. It is monumentally easier than it used to be. Dragons stand doesn’t need an easy mode. Even with pods coming back up and resetting lanes to get pods down and boss group back up I havent seen it fail in months. Maybe im just lucky with maps. Also not CC’ing until 3rd bite, isialnds being completely devoured it still succeeds.

There’s no evidence that multiclassing makes the player better or more skillful. It’s a dumb requirement.

Then don’t do what it asks. Don’t make the back piece. Don’t do anything about it. While you’re at it go design your own MMO and put all the shiney stuff in it you want and just give it to yourself.

It’ll be Hammer and Sword. Sword is ice themed, hammer is fire themed.

I am fairly sure if you are running with the zerg or group, I assume you will since your damage will be basically laughable, that you get credit for the peoples you heal kills. So like if I am running along and you heal me then I kill a few people I think you get WxP for the kills as well. Also any capping you do will obviously net you WxP as well.

I am having a blast in wvwvw lately. I am on Mag and absolutely love it. I get the frustration with queues though. That would annoy me as well. Reset night the queues are absolute hell but this week it seems to have settled down quite a bit. I just hop onto a BL until my EB queue pops if there is one.

I am almost rank 7000. I have many hours in wvwvw. I keep my badges as I dont really ever need siege. I am at around 100k badges currently. I am part of a awesome wvwvw guild and we can easily get siege any time we need it. Our server is also really awesome at sharing siege if asked for it in chat. As far as Proofs being useless, I use them to get all the HOT Hero Points so its 1 less thing I have to do in those maps. Also made unlocking specializations on characters almost instantaneous. I have crafted all HOT legendaries already so mapping them is quite a bit faster when I dont have to stop and do all the hero points. I would say Proofs were a problem if I didnt have them but they are definitely not useless.

I don’t think the pip system needs to change at all. I get 9 pips usually per tick and 14 if were out manned. I am pretty happy with this. Plus the loyalty pip should start today as well or w/e it they are changing its name to. I think what needs to change is Diamond chest on repeat should award tickets on repeat.

I am personally glad it will take a lot of time. I have been in wvwvw since GW2’s release and enjoy all aspects of it. The back piece is just a bonus for playing a game mode I really enjoy.

I know from experience when I tether someone with my DH and they run into the portal trying to get away from me I can pull them back towards they gate and they will sometimes get stuck in it. I am sure there are other places that can happen as well. Personally, I like to pull people up the inclines outside SMC and watch them fly up like 100 feet and land in my traps.

I could completely get behind this. Amalgamated would be awesome. I have crafted all the HOT legendaries in addition to all the Vanilla ones and really dislike the amalgamated deal.

The distribution needs to be in addition to the 175 from PIP’s. Or 10 tickets per repeated diamond completion. I would like this in addition to all the ideas you mentioned.

I really wouldn’t mind of they lower the rank requirement. I am currently rank 7000. I am a roamer and a zerger. I have also done all the pve stuff. I get the arguments both ways. At the end of the day I think it should be a high rank req but maybe 2k is a bit much. On the same token it is also a great way for them to sell boosters. Which are currently available in BL Chests I think. I also have done very few EOTM achieves outside of running around that map while waiting on a queued EB or BL. You can literally run rings around EB or a BL and tag guards, sentrys, random players, gates, walls, AC’s, build, repair and throughout the time you remain on that map you will randomly be awarded WxP when your zerg or havocs or roamers flip, cap, take whatever it was you hit.

I’m more inclined to think of these wings being included in the GWU as an oversight. They shouldn’t be in there. They removed the mini clockheart because it was an achievement reward.

But the mini clockheart is from an achievement which can still be completed.

The tequatl wings came from doing a bunch of dailies during a 2-week special event in 2013. It’s been impossible to get them ever since.

What I meant to add was, I’d much prefer any item that was obtainable from previous LS1 content be added to the Laurel vendor, or as a drop from a relevant fractal, than gate it behind 2 RNG walls.

Including;
Bringing Dragon Bash back for the Shattered Holo-wings.
Add the Teq wings as the reward for doing the Tequatl Achievements. (Originaly from Boss Week! Which was chasing all Dragon clues)
Adding the Decorative Molten Jetpack to the loot tables from the Tier 4 Molten boss fractal.
Adding the Monocles to the loot table from the Tier 4 Aether-Retreat Fractal end chest.
Adding Scarlets Kiss and Scarlets Rainbow to the loot table from Mai Trins Tier 4 chest.

You can forge Scarletts Kiss and Rainbow. I get Scarletts kiss at least once a week. Rainbow not as much. Just a random chance like a precursor. Can also still forge chain sword, scythe staff skins, and chainsaw greatsword. I get those about once a week as well. The scythe not as much as the other 2 though. I would like them to add the other suggested items you said as well though.

So my wife and I have been playing GW2 since 3 day head start no problems at all. The last couple days whenever her and I are on it disconnects us. She is on her computer hardwired to the R8000 router and I am on Wi-Fi. I can play no problem at all if she isn’t playing and vice versa. Is there something I need to do? Was there some change at Anet which is causing this?

I made flames of war, I had to since I own all the rest, the design is growing on me. I don’t think it needs a rework, I think they need to remove the base of it or shrink it down some. Its huge.

I would like one for owning all legendary weapons in game. Already have twice told legend. Maybe something for owning them all.

E-mail support and ask them for the item. Explain your situation to them. They have in the past mailed out items for issues like this. They sent me a couple. 1 for Nevermore and 1 for Chuka.

I’m starting to make peace with the fact that I’ll never get raid legendary armor. I hope someday Arenanet will come to the conclusion that it’s okay to make more legendary armor for wvw, spvp and fractals or open world. So that, like raiders, we can also chase long term goals relating to unique, animated armor sets as well.

Sadly they said in the AMA they have no plans to release more legendary armor. Not sure if this means that is will only ever be attainable in raids or not. I hope not.

Anet doesn’t care about WvW. If they were excited about it, and looked forward to what is being done to improve it they would talk about it. I know they don’t like to talk about things in the works but they might want to hurry up and give some direction about where it is headed or not headed or they stand to lose a significant amount of players to other games. Myself, my wife, and my guild included. It’s some ugly kid they wish they never had and as far as I can tell they just wish it would go away. There has been a surge in these posts recently and I think they need to pay attention to that because people are posting these for a reason. We need something to hold onto that this game mode isn’t forgotten about. Lately it seems raids raids RAIDS are the hype of the future. They cannot let the rest of the game slowly die off.

I think a flaming pegasus duck donkey horse dog cat pig man bear would just be great so I can use it to travel from way point to way point totally negating the need for way points. Also it will need to be able to fly so I can reach higher terrain in all the new multi level maps they make and I must be able to stay mounted while using oakhearts essence so when I grapple hook from 2500 units away I stay firmly mounted on aforementioned flaming pegasus duck donkey horse dog cat pig man bear.

So I am looking for a raid guild that is accepting new members. I am NA and play frequently. I have the resources to make any class into anything that is needed. I have pretty much every ascended stat set in game for every weight class. Would need to be training at first. Once comfortable I would like to raid weekly for full clears. I have every specialization unlocked and at lest 1 of every class at 80 in full ascended. I also own every legendary weapon in game currently. Would be myself and my Wife looking for a guild. She also has all the same on her account as I as far as ability to create meta toons and legendary unlocks.

Nope still no way.

If we dont get any exciting news as far as wvwvw updates goes Myself and quite a few of my friends will be moving on to different games.

Torch on Ranger is just awesome.
