Theres no way for you to know if I would have lost money. If I buy them all and sell for profit then I don’t lose money per se. All I am doing is tying up my gold in a investment that may or may not pay off. The loss or profit would be determined when the item sells. I will not buy something for 1000g to purposely list for a loss. That would be dumb. I also do not buy or sell anything over a couple gold on the TP. Just no reason too. I have enough people who regularly buy items off me that I don’t need to. I just offer enough of a discount that I am happy and so are they.

Not really the way I should have. Most of the early on precursors I got were just on a whim. I didn’t really start keeping track of them until about my 50th one or so. It was more of a hobby if you will for the wife and I. We would basically farm all the events. Store all of our rares in our guild banks. Every couple days or so as we would reach a sizeable amount of rares and exotics, I would toss them in the forge. When I started to get more than 1 in a day I started keeping track of them. The most I have ever gotten in 1 day is 9. The most I have ever gotten in 1 round of tossing them in was 3. I normally forge with at least 250 rares. Of the 307 precursors I have currently forged, they have all been from the forge. I have never gotten a pre as a drop or off a champ or as q quest reward. Also of the 307 I have gotten I would say about 1/3rd have come directly off of rares. I never throw in armor, I salvage / sell based off the usual method of determining its best value. I also never throw in 4 of the same rares. After getting so many pre’s I really don’t care what comes out.

What skin do you want?

It depends on how much you have done towards it. If you want to avoid map completion you have no choice but to buy it. You will also need Dusk, 100 Icy Runestones, 2 recipes @10g each, lodes, metals, 250 of every t6, yadda yadda, im sure you know the drill. Add up the cost of crafting it compared to the cost of outright buying it. Decide from that.

I am pretty happy with the current system.

I enjoy the game. I enjoy putting in my time and doing whatever seems to come to mind. I really have no intentions of leaving for another game as I have only ever played GW1 and 2. I also have friends in GW2 that I have been playing with since GW1 day 1. Keeps me playing.

Keep doing what you’re doing. If they don’t like you playing your game how you want to play it then its really just too bad.

I don’t TP flip, I just save my rares and toss them in the forge when our guild banks fill up.

I am rather proud of my collection of legendaries. Lots of hard work. Lots of farming and what not. I like the ability to stat swap. I like the looks of them. I like that I set a goal to get X and did what I had to do in order to reach that goal.

Yeah personal guild banks are great. I have a few as well. I have a mule account I use as well to make sure I don’t accidentally leave a guild or what not. Provides me a way to make sure I don’t lose my shiniest stuff.

The funny part is that to even make a single beaded item requires buying 75 beads = clicking 75 times. It’s just like those Icy Runestones: you’ll NEVER need less than 75, but you can only buy them One. At. A. Time.
The most I’ve ever bought at once was 12,750 beads (51 stacks; 267,750 karma). I made 10 of almost every beaded weapon. I had to fight off the attacking risen 4 times before I bought enough. It took about an hour.
I am 100% positive the reason these weapons are so profitable to make is that they are so time-and-mouse-consuming to buy the beads. Last I saw, they give about 30-40s per 1000 karma (which is one of the highest exchange rates, btw). If a bulk purchase option were added, that number would be cut in half.

You can buy Icy Runestones 10 at a time now. Like Shards.

Yes it will. You cant sell them. The only affect it will have is people who may have otherwise bought one will now be able to craft one instead.

I wouldn’t mind if they make precursors craftable. I am sure they will. How it applies to the current legendaries I don’t know. I do know that they have no intention of affecting the current pre market prices. Which tells me that they will be account bound when crafted and so will the legendary they create. I hope they do. With as many pre’s as I have gotten and as many legendaries as I have crafted, I would really hope that people have a chance at obtaining their pre through some huge task, mission, crafting, time gated, obscene mess of a mission. I would love to be able to craft a pre just for the sake of crafting one.

Legendaries still have a meaning to me. Just saying.

Not most. Every legendary requires you to be 400 in 2 specific crafts. Except for Eternity, but if you craft that then you already know.

I keep the boxes unopened myself. The few I have opened I took the chest piece as it requires a full vision crystal if I were to craft it. Aside from that just sit on it.

I own Juggernaut, Mjolnir, and Foefires, I do not like foefires as much as I thought I would, its rather plain. Mjolnir is hotness and so is Juggernaut. I would go for Mjolnir.

Craft the rares, forge the rares. Save your money. Any Exotic worth over 2g sell on TP for 10 copper below lowest seller. I have done really well with this method.

Which is why you are not getting one.

Levelling up your Mesmer, kill stuff and do the Hearts on your maps. I also ran to new zones and gained the XP of finding new Waypoints.

Good starting cash, you’re level 2, not going to happen yet.

Do your map completion as you go once you get to a decent level as you will need to if you plan on crafting twilight. Once you get to mid 30’s in your level start doing AC Story then explorable. Decent money at that point plus you will need the explorable rewards for Gift of ascalon.

Trash talking is not illegal in wvwv or pvp if kept clean and humorous, if you get vulgar or violate the ToS you wont hav an account left to talk trash with.

Crafting can be cheap and cost very little if done with resources other than bought for gold. Use www.gw2crafts.net Great website.

The way to acquire a Llama mini was released. I firmly believe that if you wanted one you should have taken the steps necessary to acquire it by set methods. So what if you don’t like to pvp. The way to get one was released. If you chose not to participate in that event then why should you get one? Why couldn’t teams of mini collectors band together to form teams to have a go at it? I also believe that at some point it will be released in the gem store. With everything in life that we want and need we must do what is asked of us to get it. Really indifferent about the whole thing to tell you the truth,, but they provided the way to get one. The rest was up to you.

I do 10 packs of Clovers. Also lots of wvw and random killing in higher areas. I like to do the clovers as I usually end up with tons of t6. Once I’ve finished my clovers I can readily kitten which I need and how much of each I need. Then I usually take my person with the most skill points at the time and flip 2 cores to 1 lode. I sell the lodes and they’re quite abundant and / or trade them for t6. I also regularly farm Frostgorge and Orr.

I am a pretty nice guy and have nothing to confess.

If you want spark only, forge nothing but daggers. As far as increasing a chance using same set of 4 daggers I don’t know of any. Exotics have a better chance at returning Spark compared to using 4 rares. If you’re going to blow a bunch of money on daggers for the forge you should probably just save that gold till you can afford Spark.

AP’s are a mediocre source of judging someone’s ability. Entropy farming. WOOT! Lets hear it for low buy orders and salvaging all day for 2 AP’s at a time. Awesome, you know how to double click. Spam 1 also. YAY Win! Granted there are a lot of people with a lot of AP’s who outright have a clue. There are also people with 500 AP’s who share the same understanding. All I am saying is don’t put too much emphasis in the AP thing.

Not gonna happen. They are skins exclusive to GW1 players. Save your gem money, buy GW1 and Eye Of The North and get your game on.

You will acquire so many of them during just regular gameplay. Participate in events and do some bosses along the way. If there is a trait you really want it tells you what / how you need to do to acquire it. Obviously you don’t need every trait, but you can set a goal and get the ones you want. As you acquire the ones you want you will have the build you desire to get the rest of them. You can also unlock them with SP’s and Gold from the trainers.

Switch weapons, type /sit, /dance, fixes it for me every time. I usually get stuck coming out of worm gate in EOTM

I, personally, am a HUGE fan of RNG. Just saying!

I throw everything in the forge. Some days are better returns than others, but it all goes in.

I would love new pre’s and legendaries. I’m ready for some new stuff to work towards.
