Been lvl 80 means nothing in terms of Story experience.

TLDR: Every chapter in Story have their own way to face. That is why I called it “First Time”. And, when you bring a different class to the same battle, that battle become a First Time. Even for the same class, every time you make a new Character can be a first time if you want to try a new build, if you want to put it in a different instance, environment than before.

For example, when you are fighthing against Caudecus for first time (let say) using your necromancer you going to learn a few things like how the red circles will push you all around the room w/o stability, how conditions will kill you if you stay close to Caudecus after his telport, etc.
After that you go with your guardian now you can take stability, stunt breaks, cleanse and the fight will be DIFERENT. Willl be your first time with your guardian but not your first time against Caudecus. And you will learn a bit more.
By the time you going to use your thief you can bring Hard to Catch trait for stunt breack, Uncatchable to run around circles around Caudecus while damge the mobs and Signet of Malice + Lotus Training for pasive healing while, again, you dodge and run aroung Caudecus. You don’t even need to CC if your health is not full.
Or your necro is your main and only. But still, every time you been defeted, is a time to learn. Necro have stunt break, have pasive healing, have wells for mobs. If you die in the middle of the battle, you can let the npc rez you and use that time (can be a long wait) to retrait and change skills.
Same can be said for all the classes.

We are not talking about be able to run 100 meters under 10 seconds. We had a calculus example here before. This is more about something like do you drive a car? Was easy the first time? How long you tried before you was able to drive alone? How about a bicycle? Do you play güitar? Sing? Paint? Was easy the first time? Choose something you like and ask your self. This is not about doing as profesional, is about doing something in the way you like it, in the way you feel confortable.

If you want to move this to the “A++ in Calculus”, to the “100 meters under 10 seconds” field we need to change this post to something like “Challenge Mode is to unfair for solo players” because I can’t find any other paralelism. Yes, dificult is relative, that was clearly stated before but, if you think Story is hard as run in Olympics or been a math genious, I dont know what to tell you.

This post is about learn, about the fight, about your class, about yourself. How you can improve your self. From the OP’s last post, I can see s/he is trying, following the advices and is back to the bicycle. Are we able to do the same?

For the record, I wasn’t able to do Mordremoth by soloing. Was not about the difficulty, or boring or… was the “rift on the air” bug. I tried 3 times soloing and the 3 times had the same bug. After that, I just LFG-Guildies 11 times and done. I don’t need to know if that is fixed now, just saying what I found long time ago the day I tried.

Can you define “easy”?
As you pointed there is way to obtain legendary armor just playing WvW.
I seriously doubt that about “everyone else is maxed in legendary gear” but, if you feel you are far behind there is a tier called Ascended. Guild Wars 2 is pretty much a game where players’ skills are much more importan than gear.

If you fail to see how this thing is a P2W it is ok, but still been.
Like someone said, $2000 per month / (IMO here) $20 per day sounds more closer to reality.
Your idea is not crazy, and sure many people will share, the crazy part of the idea is the cost of the item. The thing is you are not seeing is how this would affect the economy if the price is set as low as you propose.

I feel sorry, but I desagree.
I have 12 (actualy 13 because PoF) and I have done (90% time alone) almost (MB damage is keeping some of my girls far from this last LS chapter) all stories at least 11 times, some chapters even more because the APs, helping people, guildies, or all that together. And when I say all is ALL: PS, LS2, HoT, LS3.
Having at least one PC of each class I can tell you this: is not that hard.
How are you geared?
What skills are you using?
Same goes for traits, of course.
Are you totally understanding how the battle should be face?

As other people stated here, I think difficulty changes from one person to another, even from one day to another. Just ask your self some of those questions and don’t be afraid to change your builds, your tactic, your way to see the battle.
Too much interrupts? Bring stability. Too much condis, bring cleanse. The battle is too much confusing? Take your time and learn.

I am using a HD as main to S. O. and SSD as second to play. Just move the full installation folder to the new place and run the .exe as usual. You should have zero issues.

Asura Gates and Way Points are both desing, builded and ruled by the Asuras, why one should be better than other for you? We are no paying respect, we are actually paying money because is not free.
If ANet makes the world like a one and big (like in giant) map, how we are going to have Asura gates (emphasis in s) if we just have one giant map? Are going to have something like a bridge betwen the (actually separeted) maps? How about the maps across the ocean? Boats and ships works like WP then scratch that option. Where are you going to place that single Asura Gate? Seems to me points 3 and 4 are one against other.

Last post was done May 1th 2016.
With the add of Bloodstone Fen (in July 26, 2016) we have the Blood Ruby Backpack with all stats selectable and, using Bloodstone Capacitor, we can reset those to change and choose again.
After that, ANet added Draconis Mons (in May 2, 2017) and now we have a scavenger hunt with The Wayfarer’s Henge, another backpiece with all the stats selectable (plus 3 exo backpieces, one per tier of the colection) as last reward.
At last but not least, with the add of Siren’s Landing (in July 25, 2017 ) we have 5 new backpieces with all the stats selectable.
As you can see, many things are changed from the time when this post was done.
If you don’t like for any kind of reasons, its ok. I am just letting know.

It is hard because people run all the time all around making the AoE circles cover all the area. Tell your party stay in one place, run and/or dodge just if needed and move the less as you can.

If your guildies don’t want to join and you don’t like pugs you can call a gg or learn to do fractals/dungeons with short man parties.
Some of the dungeons/fractals needs an specific number of players because mechanics, do all others.

I am trying to finish every LS in the 4 new maps at the same time I complete the 100% of the map without leave because of this. But its a hard to do with my several PCs (my problem) and having another things to do (my problem again).
I arrived to the map just having that PoI (you know what PoI I means) to do, just to find all my Hearts reset: “You did again and I knew you will do it” was my though. And I did all the Hearts again… coming south from the north, then my last 2 Hearts was exactly those I needed lol…
Yes, the Hearts’ reset bug it’s a problem if you are mapping.
