Now? I won’t be buying any keys at all. No skin off my back. Just money out of Anets pocket. Their loss. Not mine.

My thoughts as well…
For the love the 6 gods….remove the blasted ToT bag or add it as an ‘extra’ seasonal in addition to the main 3 like before!
This is like a kick in the pants…

My hubbie and I buy keys/gems on a regular basis, but this “nerf” of chests has me scratching my head.
From what I remember of last year, we received 3 items and a seasonal item, this year it’s reduced to 2 items and a seasonal. Kind of feeling a bit hosed….
Also huge disappointment on the way rare skins are automatically dumped into your wardrobe instead of getting the actual skin.
Most of the time I would throw it up on the trader, that’s how I made my extra cash. I’m disinterested in a lot of weapon and outfit skins, but feel them being forced down my throat.
What happens when I eventually get them all? That’s even if we continue to buy gems/keys.
Not happy at all with change….

No, because the way it currently works, it gives you the first mastery point, completing it also gives you access to the mastery system at all.
On a side note, if you go into the story instance of someone in your party, and they leave it before you properly claim the mastery point reward, it bugs out and you cant fix it.

Just happened to us. My hubby got the reward notice after we completed the story and didn’t unlock his mastery system at all.
Tried to log out and in again, but nothing.

Any other suggestions?

My hubby and I went through the initial demo with a friend and they each received progress reward notice, but only one of them was able to unlock the mastery point screen.
My hubby however, can not repeat the demo story and can not unlock any mastery points now. No gliding for him this beta.
Bug?

Colin just announced Beta weekend next week with Raids included! Want to try out this Druid.

The Oasis heart is bugged out for me for days now! My skill bar does not load any items retrieved and I can’t complete the heart unless someone who rarely comes by spawns a spider to kill…
This has been bugged for awhile now and it’s the last heart I need to complete the map!

Yea, not a big fan on this. A huge difference in look, I think I will ask for a refund as well. Really disappointed.

My asuran has the same pixelated head. Also the head piece is either a murky gray or black color no matter what color I dye the armor.
The headpiece is dyeable on the other races but Asuran.

Also that skirt clipping is a bit annoying too.

All that being said, I do love the throwback to the GW1 monk!

Yea, I have to disagree with the OP. I chose a couple games that allowed this sort of thing and once I experienced the chat, I immediately uninstalled.
It’s not a good idea and hope that Anet never allows it!

You might want to check out Aion, it’s all about ganking there.

I have my revenant still there from the last beta but it’s not available to play since there’s no beta going on. I wouldn’t do anything with that beta slot until the next beta opens.

Daze for Storm Spirit was also suggested on the forums, as well as Spirits pulsing boons with Nature’s Vengeance. Looks like they do read the forums!

Pulse 1s boon per 3 s, so useful.

Edit: Also, a “destroy” command for Spirit. I recall someone posting about wanting that since they can’t move to force a reset mid-combat. Pop that active and reset it!

The way to move it was the swap the spirit of the skill bar and then back on. The spirit dies and goes on 20 s cd. Now we get 30 s instead…cool.

I worked so kitten my ranger with ascended gear and legendary! Trap ranger with spirits was my favorite build.

Lets nerf some more ranger builds!

I’m really disappointed at some of the disrespectful comments as well. Seems some people are not comfortable with their own mortality.

However, I have a small group of friends who my husband and I have gamed with for years as well, including GW1.

I could not fathom losing any of them, although we haven’t visited, we text, call and share pictures of each others lives.

Golemancer Gitt Skill challenge in Metrica is bugged. Prototypes aren’t spawning even tho the challenge is activated
This is holding up a few of us on that map completion. Any ETA on a fix???

Since the beta is on Tuesday, I would like to record some of it but I’m a total noob at what or how to get started on a program to do this.
I’m running Windows 7 64 bit OS with AMD – 8350 eight core proc. 4 GHz
(if that information is helpful)

My card is Radeon R9 200 series.

I’ve collected all the mordrem parts for the Luminescent gear, but the items are still in my inventory.

What exactly do they have to do with Tyria? Where’s the lore behind these?

It reminds me of a Korean game I used to play a few years ago. Desperate for cash game, they actually came up with all kinds of wing models and sizes, the thing was that the game didn’t really have a lore to talk about. That, and also, the fact that with those wings you could, you know, FLY.

I wonder about all the models of gliders that will show up in gemstore in HoT now.

LOL yea, walking around with wings and not being able to actually fly is, well…ridiculous.
Although I would definitely consider some glider models…perhaps butterfly wing gliders, or dragon wing gliders…etc. I’m sure those are in the future gem shop when HoT releases.

There is a purple portal by Diverse Ledges (where the diving platform was) – you meet up with Lionguard Turma (the Commanding Heights achieve), talk to her, and you’re in. You skip things, but this is how I got the Hero title without having to beat the knights/holos/etc.

Just went up there to the portal, it told me I required Spinal Blades to get in
Didn’t bother with those, so I was out of luck.

When I hover over the items it shows equip or destroy??
Did this new patch make all crafted jewelry soulbound or account bound? It clearly says only soulbound on use on the tool tip.

EDIT: Just got word from a kind soul taking pity on my in LA. I made the mistake of slotting the jewelry now I’m left with some worthless mats and loss of embellished jewels.

Got dc’d 4 times during the event chain today and the lag was horrendous. I haven’t gotten any credit for these while trying to get my monthly done.
Updated my vid drivers and believe me it’s not my PC system.

Temporal Curtain is a light field. Any projectile or whirl finisher will remove conditions. This is especially potent if your warden ends up in the field.

I thought so…I’ve been messing around in PvE using different combo’s just to see what I can do.

My mes turned 80 last week or so and I popped her cherry in WvW last night. Got a cond dmg build that I’ve been researching for weeks and actually had a few running from me.
Of course I got hosed quite a few times…nasty thieves!
Thanks for all these vids and tips! I’ve been enjoying the helloutof it!

My I ask a nubsauce question tho…how do you get that cond removal from focus?
