You know at first I had respect for Maguuma, but seeing the amount of spies they is ridiculous.. I mean even after winning by so MUCH. You resort to spies to still make the game easy.. thats crazy…

Spies are not something you use only when you’re losing. While the majority of our mumble community frowns upon it, it’s a valid tactic regardless of what place you’re in. We’ve been spied on numerous times, and yes, even while losing. We know what to say when we want to keep something secret, we know who to PM and talk to when we’re on a secret mission.

Honestly, at this point, I would guess the spies are there out of boredom. If anyone really cared to resort to spies to win even harder, then they’re the 1%.

GOON does not outnumber you. Don’t lie. It’s not hard to know what to hit when it’s the ONLY thing on the map with swords. We also have roamers and scouts everywhere and we communicate to each other when we find enemies. Shocking, I know.

I’m not saying GOON outnumbers us, but you guys were there. Also to have a 90% accuracy to know where we built everything and for 90% of your people to go straight to that location… I mean come on.. When you guys just took the Garrison I saw this happen. And I dont care how coordinated you are, unless you have a spy telling you, you will not have a 90% accuracy on that.

You just run straight there and wipe it, while the 5 random nubs were going to the Lord.

Only 90% accuracy? I expect better from our spies.

I am. Every decent guild that transfers to Mag is one less guild to fight. First SM and now WaR. If too many of the good guilds transfer to Mag, the action is going to suck. Will have to transfer to another server in the tier just to fight them again.

This would be a problem if all we did was stay in this tier but when we’re outnumbered in other tiers, these skilled players would come in handy.

Also got a chance to run around with War’s group in EB last night and was impressed with their siege placement and teamwork during assaults.

That’s great for people who care about the server winning, but doesn’t do much for those of us who just want good fights.

Wow. Some people will find anything to cry about.

Bugged on Maguuma server, Nice to see we still have these problems going 5 months into the game.

This week’s match up will be a very close one. DB will stomp Mag for sure. In fact, DB rivals even YB’s force.

Speaking of EB, Mag is in the same shoe as EB was last week. If not careful, Mag will be pushed by DB to 3rd place. In the bigger picture, DB is a bigger threat to Mag than to YB. However, somehow I don’t think Mag see it that way, as they keep tunnel vision on YB.

Nah we like Ebay. Don’t let the forum shop talk get you down. Ebay/Maguuma/Dragonbrand would be a killer matchup.

It’s not that i don’t like Ebay. It just sucked having Yaks getting all those free points. Also they really don’t have the wvw pop to compete in T4.

I heard a school of Yak Quaggans showed up to the water gate of their garrison on Friday night. I thought people would have countered with a Quaggan dance off, but I was horrified when I heard they were mercilessly slaughtered. I facepalmed pretty hard when someone mentioned, “WATER GATE, CLEAR!” in team chat.

I extend my condolences to your Quaggan platoon and will construct a memorial service to honor their exploits. Thanks again for being so awesome.

We are still fighting but night-capping demoralizes casuals. The match was decided before it began by your night population.

That said, we are still having fun in the battles but night population cannot be overcome..hence the stickied thread on the top of this page.

I am not sure I understand. Are you saying that when we lost the entire map on Saturday morning that we had people on? Also, I don’t play at 5 am to 7 am but maybe one of our handful of off-peak players can help get you your “proof” lol

Maguuma had no more than 20 people holding all of Eternal from 3 am – 8 am. Our night force isn’t big at all. You guys just give up too easy.

I love fighting Ehmry Bay, but they always have a lot of people crying on the forums about why they ain’t winning and how they are still the better server. Keep making me laugh guys.

To all the respectable Ehmry Bay players: I’m looking forward to the great fights i know are going to happen the rest of this week :P

Current score is 32,554 EB, 21,194 Maguuma, 3,655 Eredon.

Maguuma is playing the nightcap game as they flipped all of Eternal Battlegrounds, some of EB Borderlands, and haven’t touched Eredon Terrace Borderlands much.

It’s also clear that Maguuma is really only after EB at this point. I think it’s abundantly clear that, frankly, our servers hate each other. I look forward to giving Maguuma another week of losses and downranking.

Well let’s see here, the best Spvp classes are (in order of strongest to weakest)

1. Guardian
2. Thief
3. Mesmer
4. Necro

Most comps are 2 guardians, 1 mesmer/thief/necro. You are really confused why they are nerf’ing Guardians?

I get the OP’s point. This doesn’t solve our problems with fairweather WvW players destroying server WvW communities, and now Anet just hurt PvE players who want to play with friends on other servers. Overall this helped no one.

I can only hope guesting gets finished up soon (Nov 15th update please!!) So they can finally end free transfers, and we can start to build dedicated WvW communities

Cerise hit the nail on the head. After running the mad king event almost non stop with guildies its disheartening to have everything i do based on luck.

I got not one exotic the whole time – RNG based, i can’t make money even if i tried with that event based just on luck and not my time committed to it. Meanwhile guildies getting multiple exotics and making 40s+ per run.

Next I take all those greens i got and guess what? I now have to throw them in the Mystic forge to hope to get a yellow item out of it. RNG again.

Then if I so happen to get a yellow I AGAIN have to deal with RNG to see if I can break it down into ectos.

Please don’t get the wrong idea that I’m crying about not getting loot or something like that. I just want some consistency to my grind, I want to know I’m at least getting something out of it, and not praying I get a lucky drop so i can make a small amount of coin. I still love the game and I’m mostly a WvW player anyhow, but when I do PvE I feel like It’s really not worth my time because I’m always fighting with extreme RNG.

You guys are not missing much tbh.

Yeah having 3 orbs + Guild buffs tend to make countering anything easy.

Are you really that full of yourself? The point still stands stacking up is the best tactic you can do in situations like that. You didn’t “counter” anything. Superior numbers + stats did that.

I beat it in about 40 minutes, Human Mesmer. No speed boosts. Very fun.

I get keys randomly all the time across all my characters. I’ve had the pleasure of opening 15 to 20 chests so farI’ve never purchased a key.

The items I’ve gotten from chests (because I will not purchase them from the store and never used them) are 3 owl, 6 jackalop, 3 skritt, 3 golamite, 3 ram, 3 pig, 3 plant wolf, 3 floater, 3 imp, 3 snow owl and 24 mystery tonics. I’ve also gotten 3 killstreak, 2 armour, 3 speed, 5 rejuvination, 1 strength, 2 magic find, 4 xp boosters and 3 bank, 4 black lion and 1 revive orb.

Am I lucky? I don’t think I am but I’ve found enough to keep me happy hehehe

We all get keys through personal story quests, and sometimes 100% a map. We are talking about keys from just normal drops.

Yeah it only happened to me this one time, was playing all night just fine. I also use AT&T here in Wisconsin, It could be an issue with certain ISPs. Another thread has issues with people in Europe so who knows.

Yep, was doing some wvw and suddenly got a 5 second or so lag spike. A few minutes later got a lag spike again and was disconnected from the server.

As you say my connection to other sites and such went uninterrupted.

Also like to add this is the first night this has ever happened to me and i confirmed with other players in wvw that they got a lag spike too. (don’t know if they disconnected when i did as i didn’t log back on)

20 here – Love the game, REALLY love the WvW.

This is a non-issue. If they are repairing the walls and you have siege up they are just wasting supplies as the wall will just go right back down.
