This is my Ranger. I have the thief hood, but it is hidden in this shot.

Great to get there first, but looking forward to better challenge on future ones.

What he is trying to say, is that the Guild Bounty mission T1 was not able to be completed. We can see and kill some of the NPC’s, and recieve the one chest for the first kill and only a coin/Karma/xp thereafter.

I have been playing Planetside2 and not logging in today to help. Hope you all get in on the off hours. I know for me early morning hours PST was best to get friends in on JQ.

Congrats to you. We have several players in The Acolytes with legendary’s and none are anything other than avid players.

We do lots of runs to support players when they are working on one. We have threads on our forums listing progress and asking for help with parts that might be slowing someone. It takes a time investment and some intelligence to look for best methods to get the materials, but in no way has to be anything to do with exploiting.

Get some friends or a Guild to help, it is a large part of what makes the time spent in a game fun. being on a voice server, chatting, joking being social and entertained at the same time you are on that legendary journey.

From the Acolytes who are East coast based and missed some, a big thanks. Heck I am one of the West Coast crew and am impressed as always by ANet.

I see it not as a punishment, but as a cost associated with the privilege of being able to save progress in crafts you have left to pursue others.

1. What data or information could we the players provide to the development team to help you see the diminished effectiveness?
2. Which other ability(s) of the Ranger are in your view the ones to take up the role of filling the reduced DPS?

This is a combination of data issue decision on Anet’s part and a bug.

The numbers of pets available plus the numbers of rangers equal a lot of storage so the defaulted to only being able to name the current active pet slots (2 land+2 Water). Then the current slot name can be reset to the default when selecting a new pet or taming a new pt.

When posting your updates to this thread I suggest everyone add the following details. Each of the display settings can cause differences, such as full screen with large interface, causes UI right offset for me. So having these noted in each post will show a more clear picture of what the player base has in common.

Whispers for story, having seen their armor though….

Fast way to get armored fish is under Lions Arch in the sewer.

I really like seeing in threads so many pets being used. Other games the pets are much closed to being the same all the way down the thread.

I do switch my pets up once in a while and find utility in them each time.
Current for PvE I have been using Eagle and Salamander, Shark and Devourer. For WvW I use wolves/eagles/devourers/cave spider.

I feel like the OP and several others would be better off in the thief or warrior forum asking for Ranger like abilities. I really feel that is closer to what is being asked for.

In the character selection screen the offset to the right is hard to see in a screenshot, but the bezel for the center and right monitors run through the map completions badge.

Logged into the game, the character would be normally centered over the health bubble, but is now to the left over the number one skill. Also the Quest dialog box at the top is partially obscured by being placed too high.

Users running Surround in windowed full screen are not seing any change from this patch.

I use Fraps for any video capture.

I finished last months a while back and was real happy to see it reset, then yeah, I noticed I lost all of last nights progress.

I thought they might have addressed it by now on twitter or here.

Having a ton of pve, wvw fun. I see no shortage of players on JQ and I hope all of you off to the next game aready have fun there. It is all about the fun anyway.

I have an active life besides gaming so still just about to hit 80 this week.

No change to Surround, Windowed Full screen character selection. No change in cut-scenes either.

Edit: Tried full screen but it inhibits my AltTab’ing, and at UI=Large the whole setup gets shifted to the right. Delta I use 2 gtx570’s .

Ok I went back and kept Trahearne near me as much as I could especially at possible dialog points.

And I got it done. I still did see all the disabled messages for the grubs of course.

Is there any specific details you would suggest I capture in my next attempt to complete this to help you?

@deltaconnected No I use 5760×1080 Surround and windowed full screen. If you look at the original post on this thread there are some of the examples depending on if you run in each of the selection choices.

I became a victim of this bug tonight. I am at the final cave, all enemies dead, I saw the cut scenes etc. But nothing will let me get past that last wall with Trahearne. Researchers stay at north end of cave.

Once I started killing in the cave i was spammed by the red content disabled message. Seems the grubs are being affected by the anti-farming applied to grubs in other map locations.

I used this with my spider pets poison cloud, and my healing spring today and both functioned.

Tired of renaming the land slots since I do like to change up pets a fair amount just for fun. The aquatic pets stay the same far more and get distinct names.

Better transition to the small twigs holding the leaves

I would be done, but I started an armor chestpiece, helm, and other bits for my lady who is going as an amazon for Halloween.

HOM is from GuildWars 1.

When I do drop an aoe for fire, I am always using an axe to compliment that aoe not a bow.

I often wonder what the story line characters look like. All I have seen are torsos since I started. Well that’s not entirely true, as I made an Asura alt, and I get to see the shoulders and heads in story lines for him.

No good excuse, its because I was being lazy and not resizing for posting. I sometimes for get the size of the image, and the the limitations of this forum to use a host service that auto resizes for me.

To post more than one photo I preview, and then it gives you another text box and browse button in addition to the first image path.

Oh and photo update since I am here. This was a first fitting of the fall leaves to the top of the head.

You can make stuff like this, you just have to do it. I spent a while today with my kids (I have two) coaching them on masks they are making. The biggest issue is always having the idea, and then just running with it. Don’t let the logic get in the way, let the creative side run wild.

Great Ele/Mez fight, and I really would like to see the daynight set in game.

Hello and welcome to Friday!! DBH!

First off I had done a round of sanding, then touch up with the Paaz, then some more sanding. Then I painted the base coat of a brown/sienna, followed by a watered down green that was partially rubbed off.

Sorry I did not take more photos during the painting portion.

I added the mesh for ears and a bit more base to the side of the head, then that frame was coated. All of the head got a coat of gesso when dry, and the last photo is a rear profile view.

Currently it only saves by slot one and slot two.

Thus my pets are named Thing One, and Thing Two.

Updates on the mask again.
First photo a trial fit.
After some more work blending in the roots, more paper mache and adding the brow
Time for another test fit in last photo.

Today we have another update.
I added plaster gauze to the top of the head ataching to the front face cast in the first photo to fill in the rest of the mask for branch attachment. In photo two the branches are in their first positioning all round the skull perimeter, and in photo three I have the first addition of the roots on the chin.

I was waiting for GW2 to come out and I had to make something to keep my creative drive satisfied, and since I had just done plaster gauze cast for my face a mask it would be. Then with that base I decided a Sylvari mask would be fun to make. I am almost done with it and a few of you might have seen this on other forums or at PAX Prime.

So here is a progress chain leading up the the most recent. Sorry this forum is not letting me put the images side by side.

I run 3 23" monitors @ 5760×1080 on two GTX 570’s and I have provided all the information above in the first post in detailed earlier communications with the development team. They are aware and it is on the post release work list as I understand it.
