That is interesting, but the only reasons why these items could be whitelisted is
1) error/oversight in the whitelisting process 2) a GM spawned the item for testing purposes, happened before with items like Destroyer Scythe when it was unavailable to players or 3) the customer support made a mistake and sent out wrong replacement item by mistake
Any of the reasons seem like a good reason to remove them from the API again, there is no good reason to have ids whitelisted which are inaccessible to players by normal means.

Why do you not let people decide on their own? Personally I feel like my focus is about as good after 4-5 hours than if we are just starting. It takes a really long time for me to loose focus

Honestly I think it is too late to change the order now without getting a lot of the 30k AP people upset, I am sure a nonzero amount farmed that ap only for the skin. So introducing more AP is the most fair way to handle this, even if it means more work for Anet

Perhaps a larger percentage of the PoF raids will be a bit less intense so that both types of players can have their niche. Would be nice to have one chill wing to play right through every week.

Raids already got very easy, if they get even more easier they might as well remove them from the game again

I think hes trying to say that a “Good group” for 99cm might not be so good on 100cm.

But according to people 100 cm is much harder, so a good 100cm group should faceroll through 99cm

30k seems to be doable even if you missed every single historic AP, 39k on the other hand for the backpacks… Not even doable for the top players.
I would not be suprised if PoF gives even less AP than HoT also, there is no such thing as precursor collections or the pvp legendary backkpack stuff (which gave about 500 AP in total!) this time.
I think we will see 1000 AP for doing absolutly everything in PoF

I’ve always thought exclusive titles make the best long term rewards. I hate for skins to be locked behind such systems.

Noone likes the AP titles, they are horrible. I have yet to see one of the top AP players use them. GW1 had way better completionist titles

Any tips to get into 99cm without the title?
I killed the first 2 bosses, and had a few good runs on Encollyss, but since I dont have the title no one wants me,
Apparantly linking legendary armor is no proof of skill either.
I’ve tried making my own parties but no one wants to join a party with a titleless “noob”.

Anyone any tips to still get into 99cm?

Make your own group and do not mention your experience. 99% of the groups will not complain if you fail

Nah, 99 cms without deaths is harder than 100cm. I saw 100cm without deaths several times since its recent introduction. Havent seen a 99cm without deaths for a long time. There is literally at least one death per bullet hell part, not to mention other random deaths.
Overall I would say 99cm is easier to finish, but doing it with no deaths is harder than 100cm.

I run nightmare CM almost every day. Most of my runs are done with no deaths, 100% pugged.

Not kidding. You must be very lucky with your pugs then. Yesterday for example my pug which one shotted all bosses on 100 cm had like 30+ deaths on 99 cm.

It has access to way too many knockbacks. It feels like playing against an engineer or elementalist which is permanently in tornado mode.
Considering some classes have very low stability uptime builds like these should not exist

This does not make deaths impactful. It just punishes roamers more than zerglings because roamers need much longer to reach t6 participation than zerglings.

Making deaths impactful would mean banning you from the map for lets say 5 minutes after death.

There is no problem, it only exists for people who want to be carried. People who already did content x times probably do not want to spend 5x longer on a run just for you

I doubt this would work unless someone is randomly chosen for “sitting”. Most teams would rather take the much higher win chances than whatever tiny bonus Anet would give.

Yes I noticed it. Those top players usually go afk as soon as someone does something they do not like while bragging about their own skill in chat. They achieved their goals and do not care if they ruin it for others anymore

Seems like blue version is indeed exclusive to master fractal daily chests, probably same rarity as fractal tonics since it is in the same bracket. Pretty lame considering the cosmic infusion only fits this one fractal

The first people reached 90 essences today, so it is pretty much confirmed. each boss can give 3 tokens, so a lucky run is 9 tokens (very rare).

Also the Endless Chaos Combat tonic is a joke, it only turns you into an asura (arkk). Does not even have skins players have not access to. Should cost 5 tokens max.

Why can you meet people who have top 250 titles in gold division? Even if they are currently not in top 250 anymore, they should be hardcoded to only appear in high platin/legend matches, since they obviously do not belong in gold. It is quite silly if you get near instant queue pops but still have to play with people who are basically in a different league…

(This is based on EU where top 250 has never been below platin 2 yet, might be different for NA)

So the description of the “Celestial Infusion Chest” says “Double-click to choose a celestial infusion.” Yet you can only choose from red infusions with different stats? So people who wanted a blue infusion essentially wasted their time if they collected 90 tokens from 100 cm. Is it so hard to make precise descriptions?

If you are worried about the TP value of them, just make them account bound or something

Matchmaking is utter trash as every season (devs dont bother to check my match history, I pvped on another account). Dont think it will ever get better with the low population, people who just want to farm rewards and people who game the matchmaker by deliberately dropping their rating (top 25 title people in gold division?!)

So, is luck the main denominator?

Matchmaking is all about luck if you solo queue and are not top 100 material. Just had 2 people with top 25 title in enemy team and I am currently just gold div. Queue time was short so I assume they deliberately dropped their MMR to ruin matchmaking.

I really liked the group survival title for 100cm since it promotes getting good and everyone pulling his weight in the group. So I think it would be nice to have a similar achievement title for 99 cm. It might even turn out a little bit harder since especially the bullet hell parts always seem to have someone dieing.

There is plenty to do on outmanned maps other than standing around at a camp waiting for timer to run out. At bare minimum you can defend objectives that are already in your possession, such as the hill in my example in the starting post.

I have the feeling a large percentage of people in WvW are just there to farm the rewards now and do not actualy participate in any healthy WvW gameplay. They just wander from camp to camp because it is the easiest way to get 10min participation then idle again. This is especially bad on maps with outmanned buff where you could use anyone to defend objectives, but a lot of people just wont come help and rather stay next to a camp and wait for timer to run out.

Recent example: Hill gets attacked by a few enemies (around 5) they are already at inner wall and around 20 people stand at the spawn camp waiting for the timer while the hill ultimately gets lost despite help was being requested in map chat.

It seems anytime Anet adds more rewards to a gamemode people are quick to find every loophole to gain the rewards as easy as possible while not caring about the people who legitimately want to play the gamemode but get sabotaged (quite apparent in ranked pvp seaosons “i just want my rewards” people.

Oh dear, please just wipe FX chips off the face of the earth. Bury them and forget about them. They are slow as molasses and obsolete.

As above stated, Ryzen 1600 is a good compromise at the moment. Its not ideal for GW2 but then again bying an Intel at the moment is pointless too – in about 1 months time everything will get shuffled when Coffe Lake come out, prices on 7th gen should drop.

Not worth to wait for coffee lake.

Because it uses the same 14nm technology and the major optimization of this technology was at the release of kaby lake.

So if op has to wait it should be for the 10nm chips cannon lake at the 1st quarter of 2018 or even better wait for ice lake/tiger lake but then again this is too far in the future.

Its worth to wait for coffee lake. i5 and i7s will become 6 cores, and i3s become the current i5s. So basically you get 50% more power for the same price.

Can you tone down the condi spam in pvp? Even if you completly build your build around countering condis there is just too much of it. Some skills even apply multiple different conditions in one go, which is just silly.
Basically when entering a team fight you have every existing condition on you within a second and even if you manage to cleanse them once, it only takes a fraction of a moment to have it all on you again. Condis should just add some tactical spice to combat and not behave the current way by completly shutting down any build without resistance and 100 condi cleanses.

Swapping just makes things worse because very few people are similary good with multiple classes in gold/platin. If they switch to other classes they usually make things worse instead of better

I think Eternal Coliseum must be removed from ranked games. It is a terribly unbalanced map which heavily favors the red side and classes with blink abilities.
The red side respawns close to the 20% dmg buff which is massively more valuable than 5k health and a single rezz (which can be skipped with the thief elite lol).

We still don’t have a title for 5 legendary weapons .. So wouldn’t count on it

You are late, the title already got added. Just the description is not accurate with pvp and wvw legendary armors.
