definitely a great QoL update to have for WvW!

I always thought that the blue ones were the guild catas pre-commendations patch so you cant get them anymore

I used to be in a guild with an Anet employee and he said he doesn’t like popping his tag unless it was for work.

What I would like to see is an Anet employee with his/her Anet guild tag up, on the server voice comms, and commanding like the next Sacrx.

Rangers are really easy to beat 1v1….. That being said I do play a Mesmer when I roam. I love it when a particular bad ranger does the really spammy pewpew skill and I reflect it all back when they don’t know how to skill cancel lol.

What exactly are they testing in EOTM currently?

Two methods I use:
1. Left click to select target on who you want to invite, then click on the party UI and invite/join button.
2. Pop your commander tag and /supplyinfo on top of them to get their character name.

Portal bombing is always fun. Forward or reverse portal bombing isn’t anything new though, but it’s always fun and exciting.

EOTM to WvW’ers is for:
1. Leveling up your lowbies without having to play PvE.
2. Steam rolling said lowbies with an organised group for kittens and giggles.

EOTM to PvE’ers is for:
1. Getting your WvW achievements and badges for your legendary’s Gift of Battle.
2. Getting more badges so you can make another legendary.

I can’t figure out a way to beat condition thieves who perma stealth in the fight. When they stealth I lose my target, and they also cleanse whatever condition I place on them as well as heal back up to almost full HP.

Here’s my take on the GM trait in Illusions.

So they went back to stacked servers simply to win and play easy mode, it started with JQ before SoR dropped to T2 and then ended with TC. If the guilds that left had one sliver of server pride it was gone and all that was left was the desire to win and super stack and blob more.

To the Guilds that hung in there after everyone left I think those were the only people left with any server pride and care for the community. TW, PD and smaller less know guilds. No one will blame them if they now xfer too. I think they wanted to wait and see what would happen. And now they can’t even play for fights any longer because there is almost no one left to get their backs.

If we were interested in winning, we’d have gone to JQ. We choose TC because it was the closest thing to pre-league SoR. Back when it was about server pride and working as one unit, back before TW started running tagless and telling off every player that attempted to follow them.

The attitudes of IRON, TW and FEAR are what crippled this server. Instead of embracing new players that came with the leagues, they told them to go kitten off. If you weren’t super, ultra elite you couldn’t even be on the same map as them or they’d verbally assault you over Teamspeak for hours then ban you when they got bored.

BG’s top guilds embraced their new players, SoR’s top guilds told them to kitten off. That’s why BG won the league and is still around, that’s why SoR is dead and TW/FEAR are sitting on servers with no other guilds or players that want to play with them.

God forbid guilds don’t want to tag up and run in a 60-80m skillless blob. Isn’t this the type of crap bg/jq have been giving SoR for the past year? So we were the blobiest of all t1 servers, and at the same time our core guilds disrespected our pugs because they wanted to run guild only?

Your post seems to rely on hobbitz’s belief that “SoR is the blobiest of all tier 1 servers” which firstly he did not say, and secondly, is a belief held by BG/JQ that hobbitz is not in.

Hobbitz only said that core guilds disrespected the pugs on SoR. Nothing about it being the blobiest.

Please, players of gw2, learn some logic. Yes, it is a subject you can pick up in school in the department of philosophy or department of mathematics.

If what you say is true you picked the wrong server mate. TC is nothing like pre T1 sor. TC is more like T1 SOR when IRON first showed up. Pre T1 SoR would have been Mag, SoS or FA surely. So you can say whatever you want bro but your actions tell a different story.
And now thanks to TCs new transfers TC is now in contention to topply JQ and BG that doesn’t sound anything like pre T1 SoR to me. So I guess I am right and you are wrong bro sorry. GL to you.

Your entire argument is invalid because it rests on the fact that Hobbitz is talking about TC being like pre-t1 SoR. He did not say that. If you re read what he wrote, he said “pre league SoR”. Nothing about it being tier 1. What he is saying is that TC reminds the guilds who transferred of the spirit and community of SoR before leagues supposedly took it away.

In most cases it’s not soon hacking unless they’re somehow shooting inside hills lords room with the AC being built on the supply hut haha.

I found this JP to be really easy…. Did it 13 times in 30 minutes. Ran it a total of 41 times to do the repeatable achievement though I can’t be bothered to run it 60 times lol.

As a community member of SoR, the teamspeak is filled with many main PvX and WvW guilds and it is a great way to know other rallians from other guilds and join in on their conversations. In each timezone there are public wvw channels for all rallians to use. There are also pre-reset day events like drunk commander night and drinking games for the mature, the occasional karaoke wvw night and a lot of other fun. You can also occasionally see Indo, our glorious leader, take a drink of water……. For several hours.

A recent transfer to SoR commented on how lively our teamspeak is compared to another t1 server he came from where any comments or lively jests would immediately be shot down with a kitten or gtfo.

If you speak more than one language or are a semi xenophile you can check out the other language channels for wvw too. In particular SEA timezone with SAHP and Snownow and Ssq’s super kawaii (cute) voices speaking English or Mandarin.

I hope this gets fixed soon I don’t want to go through wasted effort like the OP I hope there will be some compensation

Our guild mission schedules are held weekly on Saturday and Sundays 10PM (AEST/Sydney time) and at various times during the week when people need them (usually Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday). My officers are brilliant in organising these and will be able to walk everyone through these events.

We also have our own private sPVP room and a lot of late night fun in our teamspeak channel and guild chat is to be had in joining!

I opened 55 rich coffers and got one mini knight and no tickets…..

You seem a little mad you do realize that SoR hit us just as much as you guys. Thing is our stuff wasn’t paper when they hit it. We capitalized on your guys dead periods and you guys struggled to do so this is the result.

So Sor is in the water only attacking our people… JQ is on the hill, only attacking our people… yep sure your point is totally proven. Btw, this is directly outside our spawn.

Just wanted to point out you can see a “Miniature Collector” title in the sea of SoR and that it’s me.

With 3 servers in a tier, of course 2v1 will inevitably happen. The only thing you can do is try to influence the other server to not double team you with your actions and decisions. Those claiming that there exists server truces and alliances should read up on game theory and perhaps play a game of RISK. You can’t always expect a JQ attacks BG while BG attacks SoR while SoR attacks JQ cycle all the time.

In that case I apologise. It did look like a hack at the time.

if you are talking about red swords they made it so its 25 people with the new patch so that might be the reason why

It is not red swords, there was absolutely no swords up, not white, orange or red lol. I was watching the water gate which is up and no swords on garrison when i turn around and saw a Hire zerg of 40 with 3 golems on inner gate.

Unless this is something new in the patch that i am unaware of…

We built 4 golems (1 must have culled for you) and portalled them to the watergate which we easily broke down and then we portalled them up to the inner gate. We were inside fighting and we took the garrison.

If the gates were closed behind us then someone on your server must have fixed the gates. I did see one of them repair the inner gate on us while I was inside.

How come it was so quiet tonight from JQ? We were surprised we didn’t face an army defending garrison before we flipped it. It may have something to do with the 25 swords patch which I believe personally to be game breaking and I highly want it nerfed down to 10 or so.

Hired Assassins [HIRE] a 450 man oceanic guild, has just transferred to Ehmry Bay. I will be looking forward to seeing what the Yak’s Bend/Maguuma Oceanics have in store for us.

You guys have definitely already proven yourselves…. Now before anyone says oceanic is PvDoor you need to play against these guys. I was hiding in west keep of maguuma borderlands when I see a HIRE ele standing beneath me seemingly afk so I let it slide. When I move out to switch shift with another Mesmer sure enough the ele follows me quietly. Soon enough I out run her, but then I notice 2 others have joined her for the chase. Long story short it was 40 mins and about 5-6 HIRE players later that I was caught. Loads of fun with you guys since it seemed that everywhere I turned you had someone posted to catch me, very impressive co ordination!

You were quite the Mesmer to catch. Good sportsmanship. Partied us and we had a nice chat too that was free of flaming. Share your build with us! haha

Anyway, as you can see from my username, not being able to write Japanese in the game while the Koreans are able to has been quite a nuisance when trying to communicate Japanese. Dear Anet, please include Japanese support in your future updates!

Well the mesmer portal has infinite vertical height range so maybe it’s sort of like that?

Yeh I’ve walked into enemy forces and they appear when I’m about 3 meters away from them. Not a good experience. I would support reverting to the old system until another patch comes out for it.

The break out events seem interesting. I hope on release it isn’t bugged with NPC Commanders running into repaired walls or stopping and never restarting. Like everybody, I’m looking forward to new updates to WvW. I hope this break out event isn’t the only update!

Indeed it was quite fun tonight taking SM, and that is what we should be doing – having fun.

I have nothing against KnT, they are a decent guild and I will commend them for doing what they do in Blackgate. One peon from the guild does not speak for the views of the whole, but please manage your guild members from posting hot headed messages that stroke e-kittens.

Anyway, after taking SM we took a guild photo as part of all the fun too bad our NA/EU coverage is a bit on the lacking side of things in IoJ.

I think you may have to check your bank account statement, which should have your transaction listed. A receipt just shows that you were charged for the game, but the statement would show funds being used (debit) or added/returned (credit).

In my opinion, if Anet ‘understands the customer’, I don’t see why a new key shouldn’t be allowed to be added to your account. You are willing to spend another $60-80 to make up for any errors that have happened with the first key, which shows that the time and energy spent investing in the account is worth more than that money spent on a new key.

I think you just have to ask the bank to verify the payment, provide some documentation and once that is done, show Anet the proof and your account will be unbanned.

You may have to check with the owner of the credit card if they had sufficient funds to pay, or if they accidentally did a chargeback.

Being able to participate in chat across all the guilds you are in would be awesome, as I find that I’m missing out on the conversation in one guild if I rep another.

I hate to say this but Runescape has a better idea for what to do for events than anet. Everyone participates in an event and comes away with a non-tradeable souvenir and everyone is happy.

Buying some event items from gem store like witch or mad king costumes is fine but to gamble real life money on Black Lion Chests and not be guaranteed an enjoyable experience is outright ridiculous. If I want to play slot machines then I will go to a Casino, at least there’s chance for real money there. Dear Anet, please don’t do this again for future events. I thought the anger generated around mystic forge and precursors should have told them the general reception about an RNG mechanic… and to think they did it on gems…. just sickens me.

The early game of GW2 is beautiful and I thought it was the best mmo and everything I had been looking for when playing in the betas, but now I am having doubts. Did the design team change over the five years this game was being developed? Reminds me of how D1 and D2 were amazing but D3 which had a totally different dev team totally missed the point.
