Like.. ever ? Every day I log in hoping to be able to play only to open my sPvP panel and see it take 10 seconds just to load the games in and I log off. Every patch. Always the same story. Always over 2months for a “fix” which allows to play at a certain time of day, only to get it messed up with the next update 2 days later.

Much motivation to get the expansion ! =/ I wonder if I even 1/5 of the year 2014 without lag. 2015 is up to a bad start so far ! fun fun fun

I could spend the next 30mins to type and try to get a logical answer out of all the non-sense matchmaking, but you’re already aware of its current state. You read the forums even more than we do. You know people are displeased with the matchmaking and even more with the fact that SoloQ and TeamQ have been merged. I can’t for the life of me enjoy a single sPvP match anymore and it’s sad to see that after all the time I’ve spent on this game, after all the good things I’ve said about it to bring friends and family over to it, how I was all glad to see a patch meant to improve sPvP and matchmaking simply turned it to dust for me.

That’s all.

How you don’t even want to play anymore after you’re done with your daily with a class you don’t enjoy in a PvP system which brings you the most frustrating matches ever.

At least when solo queue existed, you didn’t have to deal with idiots AND premades.

It simply never loads anymore. I don’t even see the lil loading circle, it’s just… blank. =/

It’s not even fun anymore. You can play 20 matches in a row and not even get a single decent/fun game. Not to mention you can end up losing 19 of those 20 matches even though you can 1v2 1v3 the opposite team members without a struggle, but the rest of your team still manages to lose every. single. fight. even 4v2/4v3. It blows my mind.

That and the ridiculous amount of 500-50 matches.

Oh, thought you meant rank 80 as in leaderboard ranks.

But still, since when does rank matter ? And I seriously doubt anyone plays pvp for the reward tracks as they’re 100x slower than PvE and there isn’t anything great to get from them either.

That Courtyard screenshot I just posted was from unranked.

I suspect rank 80 teams may begin to populate unranked arenas as a faster way to farm PvP reward tracks.

Except top teams don’t care about reward tracks (tbh who does?), they play for a) rank b) practice c) fun (jk no one plays for fun)

Ain’t nothing more fun than waiting on a queue, end up in a game like that and not even get any points out of it ! =p

Before, when you were spectating a player and that player left the match (to spectate or whatever) it would automatically make u spectate another player.

Now, you end up on x camera view. Intended or unintended ?

The bags are account bound. The reward track is a joke considering the time it takes to get several ToT bags in PvP versus in PvE is like 100x longer.

Why is it that when there is broken glass, all your shadowsteps/teleports become negated ?
If there is but a mere pixel of broken glass between you and your target, all the shadowstep abilities just stop at the broken glass therefore making it pretty hard to navigate around a point as a thief.
1) Steal bugs
2) Infiltrator’s strike (#2 on sword) bugs
3) Signet shadowstep bugs
and probably the actual shadowstep as well, haven’t got to that point yet

Well, the solution is pretty easy. In a lot of the new changes to “help new players”, may it be in terms of interface or whatever, there’s never a middle. It’s always: ERASE this and IMPLEMENT that. In this instance, the problem would be that you are forcing players to buy at pre-defined quantities instead of buying the amount they want. I find it silly how such change went through without keeping an option, maybe not as flashy as the big board there, but just an option as the bottom of the board where you simply say the number of gems that you want to buy and the system tells you how much it will cost. The way the old system worked made it quite silly to be the other way around: putting gold and then having to subtract until you got to let’s say 799 and adding a bit to get to an even number.

So yeah, there as a suggestion about 100gems increments, but why don’t you just put a box at the bottom where we just put in the number of gems we want and it generates the price according to the current market and then we can click “buy” just like before, but the other way around.

Man it took them almost a month to fix the lag issue (for more people) they implemented along with the september patch and ever since like tuesday, all of us who have had this fixed just got worse than it was initially when it was already terrible. It is seriously kittening insulting and annoying at this point

Not to mention I spent 2 full weeks talking to different techs from my ISP every day to trying to solve things out a million different ways with nothing to be done since it’s on their end until it finally solved itself only to screw things up again 1-2 weeks after

No it won’t. They screwed things up yet again since tuesday and everything is even worse than it ever was before.

Like.. really, what the kitten happened on tuesday ? Was there a kitten you maintenance or something just to kitten things up 3x worse ?

- First 3 weeks – unplayable during certain hours (8-12PM EST for me)
- Following 2 weeks – everything is back to normal !
- 10/16/2014 to now – unplayable ALL day

How do I know if a specific item can yield an insignia/inscription or not ? Does it have to be “named” or the fact that it has a sigil/rune inside is enough?

Also can a lvl74-76-78 exotic yield an exotic insignia/inscription or is it only lvl80 exotics?

This is something which happens pretty often in large groups. As the person who blasts the field, shouldn’t I get priority on the boons ? I mean, let’s say we’re fighting Tequatl and we’re all stacked up stacking might before he falls down from the sky after being shot by the mega laser, no matter how much I blast the fire fields (as thief), I won’t get any might despite it saying “area might” or whatever other area buff.

If this isn’t a bug, it doesn’t make sense that it wouldn’t give priority to the player who blasts the field.

Are we ever going to have a fix for this ? It’s been there for quite a while now >.<

This may be a silly question, but if we take, for example, The Dreamer vs Slingshot, do both bows have the same range of impact in terms of side/back to proc the bleed ? The projectile fired by the slingshot is wayyy smaller than the huge unicorn and I actually wondered is that made a difference at all.

I’ve seen ranger guides saying that if you use shortbow in pvp, you should use slingshot skin so… is that a myth or an actual fact ?

Well if I didn’t have packet loss before the patch and now I do and literally cannot play most of the day ever since the september patch when I’ve been playing this game for over a year without problems (except when new patches come out and takes a month or so to gets fixed), then it has to be my ISP doesn’kitten

Let’s find a common ground here, both the anet servers and my ISP are messed up, aight ? ‘Cause I def ain’t the only one struggling with the servers ever since that patch bruhz no matter how much you guys will defend in every thread complaining about the patch there’s something similar in ALL those darn threads: the issue appeared with the patch. What’s so complicated about this ?

I think you forgot the part where everything worked perfectly fine before the september patch and how there’s always issues every time a new patch comes out.

I decided to take the time to do your tracerts n stuff while nothing and I mean absolutely nothing is working properly right now. I managed to get online after 30mins of trying and the forums barely load for me. No, this is not an ISP issue as I’ve done speed tests and everything else works properly. Only guild wars 2 (website & game, which are directly linked) doesn’t work at all. Well, barely.

Brief description of what you’re seeing: Massive lag spikes. I can’t even tell what’s happening or what I’m doing since everything always appears a couple seconds later. Both in PvE and sPvP. It’s unplayable and been like this since patch =/. It’s like I play 1 second for every 5 seconds that disappears.

It was like this right after patch, but since then I have seen quite a few matches with 1 ranger. Also I see a lot more build diversity than just Long Bow.

Congratulations ! It’s very hard to get a legendary for those who don’t really want to farm or prefer the PvP aspect of the game… or get high amount of gold at all actually. I’ve been working on “The Dreamer” for almost two years now and still haven’t been able to complete it, ha ! I’ve dumped so much gold in the mystic forge to attempt saving gold, but it ended up the other way around and I still cannot afford the precursor (which keeps going up in price!), but I do have all the crafting mats finally ! I can’t wait to shoot unicorns, ha! Cheers !

So many people looking for a new home and so very little teams looking for new members, so hell, might as well start one and get some lonely souls into it !
