We found all the Champs were also too hard to solo or do with below 5 people. This made the train hard to interrupt.
I don’t know about you, but I can solo at least 6 of the champions on that route, and used to do so on a fairly regular basis. I could probably solo the champion giant too if I had enough AoE to consistently kill the grubs.
You’re a master of the Universe. Congrats.
Instead of changing existing maps, the LS needs to open new ones.
My money is on EQN, it’s going to be F2P as well so i’ll buy it and try it, if nothing else i can just alternate between it and GW2 since neither of them require a subscription.
The end game content for GW2 is rather stale, some new dungeons or dungeon paths would be a good start or a new land to explore, even new professions, skills and weapons would be nice. Any of these things or all of them which is what you find in a new campaign or expansion.
When you compare what GW1 had after a year, an additional Campaign (or expansion) compared to now what GW2 has a year later it does leave something to be desired. I agree that they probably had factions and Nightfall partially completed when Prophecies launched, and they also probably had a lot of the content we see now worked out as well… or they had something entirely different planned and NCSoft or something else made them reconsider. So they started rushing out entirely different content. Which may explain why a lot of it has turned out the way it has.
I wish they could find a way to get out from under NCSoft’s skirt, and start doing things exactly the way they WANT to do them.
I can’t play any single game year-round. I know there are many others like me. I get hooked on a game and I usually play it for about 5 months at a time before I grow tired of it and move on to something else, but I will eventually come back. For instance, I played GW2 from October of last year to mid January before I got a little burned out and decided to go play Diablo 3 for a while. The Living Story model is a neat idea, but it really does punish those of us who don’t play your game exclusively. You have bi-weekly content added to the game, and then taken away. If you aren’t on at some point during those two weeks, then that’s just tough. You missed it. The Living Story has been compared to Game of Thrones. Well you know what? If I miss episodes of GoT, I can actually go back and watch them. If you miss Living Story content though? Well that’s just your problem…..sorry about that.
I’m going to use the dreaded WoW comparison here, but I think it’s appropriate for my argument. I’ve played WoW off and on for the last several years. What I love about it is that I can come and go as I please and still play all the content that’s ever been available. They added the Thunder Isles and a new raid shortly after the release of MoP. Well guess what? I can still go and do all the content there. It wasn’t added and then taken away. You just can’t do that with GW2, and it’s sad. I LOVED Guild Wars and I had such high hopes for GW2. I guess the added campaigns in Guild Wars just spoiled me over the years. GW2 is a great game. I’m not saying it isn’t. But it just doesn’t have the lasting appeal that it’s predecessor did, or that other MMOs have.
I’m just assuming that Arenanet is doing what they can with what little budget NCSoft is giving them, and I guess that’s understandable. It sucks…. but it’s understandable. I’m still going to hope for an Expansion one day though. A good chunk of permanent content that I can actually return to in a year and still play. Maybe Season 2 will bring that? That would definitely be a pleasant surprise.
P.S. I know that anyone who argues my points here will say that the Living Story DID add an expansion’s worth of content. My answer to you is, No it didn’t. If it had then that content would still be playable. What the Living Story does is constantly add Holiday-like events, that if you aren’t on during that holiday, you miss it. For those of you who play Guild Wars 2 exclusively, I’m sure the LS is great. This thread isn’t really for you.
Whatever it is, it will be temporary and filled with zerg.
Although I do miss being able to play a healing class for pure support, I don’t mind so much that everything revolves around DPS. What I get tired of is having to use the same weapon skills ALL THE TIME. I would love for them to do a complete overhaul of the skill system one day, and make it more like it was with GW1. Adding several more weapon skills for each weapon and allowing us to interchange the first 5 skill slots the way we want to. I think that would make a world of difference to this game.
I recently returned back to GW2 and I’m enjoying myself for the most part, until I do something in the Personal Story that is. My character is so bland it makes me want to strangle them. Show some LIFE! Get angry, sad, anything! Who was directing these voice actors?
“Ok, I want you to deliver these next lines with absolutely no emotion whatsoever. YES! That’s perfect!” -Voice Director
The world is beautiful and the exploration and gameplay have always been fun to me, but DANG that story stuff stinks. The human actors are especially cringeworthy. The only reason I find myself playing the story is for the XP only. And you have to play through your personal story to do anything (story-wise) later in the game. Correct? It’s been a while.
Why should ArenaNet cater to the player-base that DON’T actively play their game though? Wouldn’t it be much more logical to cater to those that actually play the game at least a few times a week?
Even if I were actively playing GW2 every week I would want permanent content over temporary content. Wouldn’t you? I like to go back and play old content. Old Raids and Dungeons in WoW. Old missions and older content in Guild Wars like Fissure of Woe and Underworld. You just can’t do that with the LS.
Titles were much better in GW1. In name and in acquisition. Titles were a sort of end-game for GW1. It took me many months to get the “Legendary Vanquisher” title. (Joko’s Domain SUCKED). Even though it was a total pain in the kitten at times, it was still a fun title to work toward. And it was also cool be able to see your name and title when playing the game. Something that’s missing from GW2.
I always liked the “Not Too Shabby” title as well, and “Legendary Survivor” was always stressful.
I won’t flame at all, but I was honestly expecting that video to be a Rick Roll.
I find Divinity’s Reach much more accessible than LA. Two WPs are right beside each other and you can get to everything you need in that small radius. I’ve always used it.
And I care nothing about the Mystic Toilet. Kitten that stupid thing!
You were expecting something OTHER than a massive tease? How long have you been playing? :P
Yeah I’ve been playing since beta so I should know better. Now I’d like to see if the zone will be a FULL zone with hearts and all.
EDIT: Hopefully not another Southsun.
So will this continue to be Anet’s focus with the Living Story? Continuously changing the existing zones, and never really adding anything meaningful to the game? I’m ready for this season to end, so we might see what they’ve been working on.
befoe they add cantha, they should first complete Tyria..
theres way too much left open of Tyria…
- The whole Maguuma Jungle
- The whole Crystal Desert
- The whole Fire Ring Islands
- The whole North of Shiverpeaks and all of the old EotN Map Parts
- The whole Deldrimor Territory
- The Dominion of Winds and the whole Sea of Sorrows/Strait of Malchior Area
Tyria just feels again, like in GW1, as if just only like basically 40% of the whole Continent is explorable.
So Tyria > Cantha for now first.
I wouldn’t mind them going back and forth to be honest. Release some of Cantha, then come back to Tyria. It’d be a nice change of scenery and gameplay.
If you tell someone who stopped playing after the first month whats new/changed? you really dont have much to tell them do you?
You get to say… “Oh man! They’ve done so many cool things… but…. you can’t play through any of it because it’s gone.”
I enjoyed playing a Monk in GW and a my Disc Priest in WoW. It was fun for me and fun for a lot of people. I liked finishing a dungeon run and feeling accomplished when someone said “good healz bro”. That’s all I have to say really.
I would love to have a hero system. I always liked gearing them and setting up their builds in GW1 and see how well certain builds might do. I don’t ever see Anet doing this in GW2 though. GW1 was built from the ground up for that sort of system (henchmen at launch). GW2 isn’t at all.
My prediction.
Elona
Cantha
The rest of Tyria
6 new classes
4 new races
150 new skills for each class
Over 10,000 new weapon sets
Over 5000 new armor sets
Every class can now use every weapon
72 new Legendary Items Including Legendary Armor Sets
48 new dungeons with 10 paths each
Hardmode
Mounts
GvG
Guild Halls
Heroes Ascent Reborn
Underworld Returns
Fissure of Woe Returns
The Gods Return
Gods vs. Dragons vs. Mothra Living Story
That’s my very pessimistic list.
Which dot marks the expansion?
A friend of mine logged in for the first time in about half a year,
It is ridiculous to ask the devs to tell you what happens in half of year if you dont log in.
In real life, aka living world, If you leave your country for a while and you don’t even read the news how do you think the government will tell you what has happened while you were away? maybe three were strikes, maybe a new elections, maybe the government is totally changed… you just come and see what there is and hope others will tell you what happened but you will not be able to see all the news bulletins and other things liveSo, if you want to know what happens in the game you should do a little effort and read about it not waiting for it to be handed to you on a plate
It is the living world concept and it will not go away, hopefully
The “real life” argument is getting old. This isn’t a life simulator. It’s a fantasy MMO. He doesn’t necessarily want to just read about what happened…he wants to play it. And if this were a true “living” world, then events wouldn’t happen every two hours. They’d be one and done. I’m with the OP, I just don’t care for the whole LW model. It sounds cool, and I know people who play this game exclusively love it, but it’s just not my cup of tea. I like to go back and play through old content at my leisure. That’s just not possible with this stuff.

I like the idea of account-wide dyes, and to add to your “hairstyle” ideas… I think a cool addition to the Gem Shop would be to add an account bound “Hairstylist” that can be conjured (with unlimited uses) and this stylist would have all hairstyles, plus the new ones added in the makeover kit (plus colors). They could sell this for say…800-1000 gems and each use costs a certain amount to use. Maybe 1 gold per use. For an indecisive person like myself, I’m constantly wanting to change my character’s appearance…I would DEFINITELY buy something like this.
For the rewards
Seriously, pretty soon this game will have more weapons/armor originating from the gem store than from the actual game.
Oh well, the woes of a F2P game I suppose.
Are people OK with this? I’d actually almost prefer at this rate to not have new stuff added if it’s only gem store based.
What happened to doing a cool quest line or killing a difficult boss to get a weapon skin in games?
You get that from the good ole sub-based games. Anet has to keep paying the rent, so the Gem Store is what we get.
She’s most likely going to drill right into Primordus’ back and tick him off something fierce. And then we have LS season 2. Which will include…
All new items in the gem store
No New Zones
No New Classes
Or Skills
Or Traits
Nothing Permanent
Only minor changes to existing zones
EPICNESS
I’d rather have a Race Change than a Class Change, but both would be nice. They talk about all the complications with the personal story if you were to change races, but screw the personal story. If you change your race, just reset the personal story, and if we want to do it again we can. (at no XP or Item gain) If we don’t want to bother with it, then we don’t have to. The personal story is pretty insignificant in the long run anyway. I’ve wasted too much money over the years on these types of services. I name/alliance/race changed way too many times in WoW.
NO .. no no no …
You don’t need it (according to me), so NO, you can’t have it …
I can’t afford it and am dripping with envy of those that can, so NO, you can’t have it …
I know it has absolutely nothing to do with me and is 100% none of my business, but still, NO …
I don’t like the idea, and what I like and don’t like should be enough, so, NO, you can’t have it …
Personally I would never change my own class, so because of that, you should not have the option to, so NO …
Although it is 100% none of my business why you want to change race/class, I will ask you why you went 80 levels before figuring out the race/class was not for you just so I can say, NO you should not have that option …
Even though I don’t want to change my own class, so this thread should be of no importance to me whatsoever, I will pop into your thread anyway, just to say, NO …
Also, there are other threads about this, so that should be enough for me to say NO …And last but not least, although saying, “don’t be lazy, just roll another toon and level that on the race/class you would like”, is presumptuous of me and rude, I’ll say it anyway, and yet again say: NO
;-)
So that’s a NO from you then?
Oe oh, EOTN brought great new areas, new heroes. Very overpowered pve skills(with their corresponding ranks), Lot’s of great dungeons and lots of good new weapons(ok after the weapon design contest). EOTN was a great expansion for me.
Oh, I have never claimed that EotN was a bad expansion, I am simply stating that the amount of stuff added wasn’t much more than we have seen with the Living Story model, but still took longer time.
That’s laughable. The amount of content in LS doesn’t come close to what EotN had. And guess what… All the content that EotN added can STILL BE ACCESSED. All those zones, dungeons, mini games, GEAR….. They are all still there for us to enjoy each time we log in. I have no problem with them doing this LS content, but the people who keep trying to say it’s added so much “content” to GW2 are just silly. If it added content, it would still be there.
@OP
Because we’re all a bunch of insubordinating kittenholes.
GW2 is way bigger than Prophecies was at release.
Interestingly people like to throw around tons of numbers
Those are called facts, it’s what people tend to use in arguments
but they don’t like to throw number of professions and number of races.
gw1 had more professions… not at release no, but gw2 is not at release, it’s been out for over a year
They also don’t like to talk about crafting.
Because it’s boring as kitten
GW1 added very few in terms of free content.
And that’s why the content added in gw1 vastly superior. Free =/= better
People just don’t understand that GW1 basically had a tiny Live Team while GW2 has a decently sized live team.
Indeed, gw2 has a lot more developers working on it. So why are we getting less?Guild Wars 2 at release has indeed more content than Guild Wars 1 at release. But in the end, gw1 got tons more content and guild wars 2 is not at release anymore.
Guild wars 2 was bigger than guild wars 1 after all it’s updates.
You are comparing GW2 to GW Prophecies right? I would hope so.
Guild wars 2 to all of gw1.
LOL, you’re funny. I’ve been having a crappy day at work. I needed that.
The Merchant uses superior bartering skills to quickly bankrupt his enemies.
Should be an exciting class.
What is all in the zone? Just events and waypoints?
They said that the one big mistake they made with GW1 was blowing up “home”.
I don’t remember them saying that, but destroying Ascalon was one of the best narrative choices they made in GW1. If the writers viewed it as being the exact opposite, I would be really worried. Because it would mean that the writers were not able to recognize a good story decision when they saw one.
Destroying Ascalon raised the stakes, and gave the Searing impact on the player. The desolate feeling after leaving Pre-Sear was one of the most important moments of GW1, and it really left an impression.
Was destroying Lion’s Arch in GW2 a good story decision too? I believe it was, because it raises the stakes, and makes the racial cities more important now. I’m not sure if moving everything to the Vigil was a good decision though. Only a third of the players chose the Vigil for starters. Plus, it kind of ruins the opportunity of making the racial cities matter. I think they should have forced all players to simply go back to their racial capitals, and make that their new home.
+1
I never found myself saying, “Man, the Guild Wars story is amazing.” But it was a lot better than what GW2 has given us so far. I thought the Searing was well done. You start the game in such a beautiful land, then the Charr go nuts and blow it up. Very cool.
" You’re no longer limited to completing the episode during its two-week release window. This means that going forward, all of the content and all of the rewards for Living World will be permanent."
:) Thank you Arenanet. /thread

It wouldn’t be very immersive within the current game. Think about Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. That game was designed for naval battle, with amazingly crafted oceans with huge swells and realistic storms. If naval battle was introduced to GW2, we would be riding along on a flat calm, and it would be pretty boring if you ask me. If they were to update the oceans in the game to actually have waves, and also add much more realistic weather to the game, then yeah it would be awesome. But that would be a HUGE overhaul.
I’ve suggested something like this in the Black Lion forums. They won’t do it though because $$$$$.
listen to this and try to say it’s not needed, i am sure you just want to return to GW1 and play in cantha again.
it’s a really fun place to go trough, allot of things you see is based on RL asia and it also feels that way.
it’s an environment rich with lore and history, it blooms with legends and untold stories, something tyria doesn’t have (in GW2 that is, GW1 tyria looks allot better).
The music in GW1 was SO much better. I think Jeremy Soule gave everything he had to Skyrim instead of GW2. It seems to me like he was scoring them both around the same time. The best music you’ll hear in GW2 is the music that was carried over from GW1.
Speaking of awesome Factions music, this one was always one of my favorites. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tu-JuwAIKyo
I am not in favor at all of an expansion. I do not want to wait 1-1.5 years for a large release of content, that GW2 has given me in small doses every 2 weeks for the last 7 months. If you look at the large picture you can get expansion worth of content without the expansion. No idea why people want to wait 1-1.5 year for a large release of stuff, that they will beat in 2 weeks and then be waiting another 1-1.5 years for the next one.
I look forward to the bi-weekly updates. And to the expansion worth of content that will come out of them. Yes if you add up 1-1.5 years worth of bi-weekly content you will indeed hit the amount of content that is in an expansion.
So in over a year of Living Story content, how many new zones have they added? One. (Southsun) And it doesn’t even come close to having the content that the launch zones have. And don’t say “They added Labyrinthe Cliffs and the Bazaar”… No they didn’t. If they truly added those to the game, they would still be accessible.
I too look forward to the bi-weekly updates, I’m not gonna lie. But I look forward to getting some actual content in the game in the future. I don’t really consider all this temporary stuff “content”. I look at it as small holiday events that come and go each year. True “expansion-worthy” content would be several new zones(complete with hearts, events, POIs, and Vistas). New race. New class. New skills for every class. New weapon types (two handed axe for example). A plethora of new weapon and gear skins. At least 4 or 5 new dungeons (complete with dungeon gear). A new world boss for each of the new zones…. the list goes on. I’m not saying ALL this should be in one expansion, but these are the things that should come with expansion-style content.
Like I said, I’ve enjoyed a lot of the living story. I’m not trying to knock it here. I’m just saying that it will NEVER add up to an “expansions-worth of content”.
The way the AI is in this game though…heroes would be TERRIBLE and you’d be better off doing the content solo.
Factions, Nightfall and Eye of the North says hi.
Anet produces better work when they have had a reasonable amount of time to design and test it.
Factions and Nightfall were not expansions. They were their own games and were being developed even before Prophecies was released as far as I remember.
The only actual expansion GW1 had was Eye of the North. And that didn’t really add much more than the LS have done (and it took much longer time to release that as well.)
According to Wikipedia, Prophecies what people may view as the base game for GW1, Factions, and Nightfall were all campaigns, and EOTN was the only expansion. So points for lordkrall, who is technically correct.
So EOTN is the only expansion? It still has more content that what we have so far with the LW. I’ll argue that all day if you like.
The thing is that exactly one year after Prophecies, Factions came out. What do we have to show a year later after GW2 has come out?
Hmm not quite the same is it?
Fair enough I’ll stop asking for expansions and start asking for Campaigns
As far as LW goes i wish they’d put that on hold and improve the core of the game but then again I also wish I had … ~pinky to corner of mouth~ One million dollars….
Campaign, Chapter, Expansion….it doesn’t really matter what it’s called to me. The fact of the matter is that it “expands” upon the vanilla game. I don’t see why these people think they have an argument because Anet decided to call Factions and Nightfall a campaign. Sure you could buy and play them as separate games, but it’s still Guild Wars and it’s still part of the game world and it still adds an enormous amount of content to the game (expands the game). I think I’ve decided that patience is the best thing right now. In hopes of Anet announcing a huge content patch/expansion/chapter/campaign….
That’s all we can really hope for right now. Living Story is a good way to pass the time before real and substantial content is added in the future.
I think Anet hears these things and listens. I also think the game will evolve over time, as other MMOs have. I think at some point we may see a complete overhaul of the skill system (high hopes). Dual-classes, as in GW1, would be an amazing way to add an enormous amount of build diversity. Being able to use new skills for weapons, along with being able to customize those skills, would be most welcome. I think people would love to see the Ritualist back and the Dervish as well. They could add both those classes whenever they released content for Cantha and Elona.
If they aren’t planning these types of things for the future then that makes me sad.
Why do people see the need in trying to change the game into what they think they want?
Why do people complain about the game so much?
Why do people want mounts?
Why can’t people let Anet do their jobs instead of trying to do it for them?
Why do people want to make this game into their old game?
Why do people want expansions, When living story will add more content for free over time? https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/This game has taken a new route on MMO’s that others are afraid of. GW1 did the same thing. This game has to be different from all other games including GW1. From what I understand about GW1 is this. If Anet had the resources to create GW1 as they wanted to, GW2 is what it was suppose to be. They did not have the resources so they created a great game GW1 using instanced content instead. Now they have that ability and have learned a lot from GW1 in how to back ground updates, make changes without kicking everyone off for hours, and giving us a great game to play.
Do they take ideas from other games well yeah of course. All games do this, but are not always successful. Does GW2 work with other games on how people play yes of course, there is no subscription fee. This gives anyone who plays and does not have the money to play two sub games a lot of choice.
Stop trying to make GW2 into other games. Make suggestions that work with this game not because it comes from another game, but because it will work with this game. Suggestions Like new weapon skills (not weapons) with existing weapon skills giving new builds to try. Not suggestions like we need the holy trinity back. *
GW2 has the most potential for changes over any game out there because of design. Changes pretty much on the fly any time they want. Sometimes announced sometimes not. If you want to farm constantly in the same place Aka endgame this game may not be for you. If you like a constantly changing game with new things to farm or do then this game is for you.
P.S. Anet or any other MMO developer does not owe the players anything in particular to what they think they deserve. They only try to give them the best experience they can for the type of MMO it is.
This is not being a fanboy I have respect for all games, because I know I do not have the ability to make them. I also know that to develop them it takes a lot of people.
I’ve said before that I don’t really mind losing the Holy Trinity. What I hate is the lack of build diversity that stems from weapon skills. This is a spot that could use a major overhaul in my opinion. GW1 had it right. Each weapon had multiple skills that could be swapped out. This is what GW2 needs. Using the same 5 two handed sword skills with my Guardian becomes very tedious after a while. It’d be nice to be able to swap them out. I understand that it would be a kitten to balance when adding several more skills for each weapon (for each class), but it would be awesome to have that option.
Not going to happen.
With ESO right around the corner, ANet probably feels pressured to put out some more content on the March 28 release.
Season 2 and WvW will be priority, and the bugs from release will still survive some more monthes.
Meh. No need to fear skyrim multiplayer. ESO is subpar to GW2 in many ways. Ppl will try it out and then come back again.
Calling ESO “Skyrim multiplayer” would be an insult to Skyrim.
You guys do realize they will probably do this the same way they did your Personal Story. You can go at it alone if you want, OR you can get a party and have them all enter an instance with you. Everyone is worrying about nothing. Besides Anet tried to do massive world events for LS and 90% of them fell apart due to tasks being too easy, too hard, too long, not enough reward, etc. I hope they go back to their roots of GW1 with these missions. Grab a group of buddies and beat your story.
GW1 missions were much more fun than any personal story/living story quest that I’ve done in GW2. Some of you may remember missions like Thunderhead Keep, where a team had to work together to get the mission accomplished(and fail a lot in the early days.) It was a good design and very fun. Zerg fest events with 200 people running around pressing 1 isn’t my idea of fun.
It would be a major QoL feature. It’s just a pain in the kitten to have to keep up with 4 or 5 different armor skins in your bank. But I’m pretty sure that’s what Anet wants you to do. If you didn’t have to save so much armor and weapons, then you don’t have to purchase as much bank space, so adding a feature like this would be hurting their pocket book.
Someone mentioned in another thread though, that this WAS something that was being talking about at Anet, but who knows if it’s already been scrapped because of the reasons I mentioned.
Lets make a better example then.
If I decide to go on a vacation, and during that time something really big happens in my hometown.
I would miss that big thing, because it happened when I was away.Thats just how life is. Things happen, you miss things. Life goes on.
I understand the point here, but is this a real life simulator or a fantasy MMO? My son was born a few months ago, and I just can’t play MMOs right now. Diablo 3 works because I can play by myself and leave at any time without penalty, but MMOs are different. This is what I like about other MMOs like WoW. I can miss several months or even 2 years of the game’s life, but still be able to come back and play the things I missed out on when they were first released. That’s all I’m saying. If they can’t afford big expansions and want to keep the LS model going, that’s fine. It just sucks for players like myself.
If this is what we get to look forward to in this feature patch, then I’d like to give a very sarcastic “Yay!”.
On another note. I really hope the Gods return sometime in the future, and content like this is what we get in from their return.
Look. The Living Story is fine if that’s the direction they want to keep moving. I paid $60 and probably another $40ish on gems, and I can honestly say that I’ve gotten my money’s worth from this game. My problem, as I stated in the OP, is that I get burned out and/or have to take extended breaks from the game due to real life happenings. In the most recent case it was the birth of my son. I like knowing that a developer is adding content to a game and once I come back, I can play it. That’s just what sucks about the LS. Sure I can log on and play whatever is happening at that certain time, but anything before that is just gone. Yes yes….it’s a living world…and it’s like real life. That’s all well and good. I’m just telling you what I like in a video game, and what I like is that they are an ESCAPE from real life.
And up through the ground came a bubblin’ crude.
Oil that is. Black Gold. Tyria Tea.
Well the next thing ya know ole Scar’s a billionaire.
Kinfolk said, Scar move away from there!
They said Northern Cantha is the place you outta be
So she loaded up the drill and she moved to ole Kaineng.

I prefer to use DR for all my crafting, banking, and TPing anyway.
Absolutely not.
A.) We have swiftness. Not only that, but we have incredibly readily accessible swiftness.
B.) Going along with swiftness, we have maps that are “small”, meaning we can get from point A to point B without waypoints in less than 5 minutes. A second if you use a waypoint. Mounts are necessary for games like WoW where there are no waypoints, so you HAVE to walk.
C.) Towns being cluttered with MORE things just sounds terrible, both aesthetically as well as technologically.
D.) We have tonics already that can do anything you want via minigames already. Think of beetleracing in GW1. Why would we ever need to actually ride an animal to race? It is conceptually a waste of time.I do not see the point of it.
Because transforming into a hoverboard with no rider would be ridiculous? Not every mount has to be an animal.
There is no NEED for a hoverboard. The witch’s broom fit, conceptually, with the theme of Halloween. We didn’t get sleighs during Wintersday.
It is honestly a waste of time and resources
Ah yes because necessity is all there is. The game doesn’t NEED new zones, and we don’t NEED new weapon and armor skins. We don’t really NEED this game, period. Who NEEDS more fun anyway, right?
