The stealth in this game is seriously ridiculously over powered. Do some adjustments already.
Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that stealth needs major adjustments when it comes to pvp.
Nothing about what they are going to do about the rampant memory hack programs out for gw2.
While I always appreciate when developers take the time to speak with their customers overall the information was not really worth my time.
1.) There is a sound bug that creates pulsating noise out of the left speaker. The only way to get rid of this issue is to restart the client. Jason King posted “This is an issue we’ve been tracking for a while now, and I’ve heard we may have a fix for it in the next few days”…. This was posted FOUR months ago. There has been no updates or fix for the issue. Can you update us on this?
2.) Current commander icons are public. Will we ever see a ‘Guild’ commander icon that has the same squad features but only available to be seen by that guilds members?
3.) In WvW there are thieves that can basically remain stealth through an entire combat sequence. Is this by design or is this ‘culling’?
4.) Map sizes for WvW seem to create a atmosphere that is easily ‘zerged’. They seem more of a large size arena type map rather than a large open world conquerable environment. Will we ever see larger areas to conquer?
5.) In WvW battles you are continually moving causing one to miss the majority of their loot. Will we ever see badges go directly to our inventory?
6.) I play with one or two friends quite frequently and we find it very hindering that we can not participate in (non tournament) sPvP matches together. Will we ever see a way for groups under 5 to participate in non tournament SpVp matches?

What forum will the thread be opened to submit our questions for the devs twitch session?
Thanks for the reports, everyone! This is an issue we’ve been tracking for a while now, and I’ve heard we may have a fix for it in the next few days. If you continue seeing it, please let us know.
Posted 4 months ago and still no fix or update. Wonderful.
This happens to me as well. Driving me nuts.
This is siege warfare for the A.D.D. instant gratification generation. It’s far too easy. That’s the market today though so I would not expect anything else… I’d rather have the daoc days back.
Map completion loot should be items that my character class can use.
Please tell me we are going to see a fix for this ongoing issue in the near future.
I came to this game for the WvW but I’m not very impressed. I was really hoping for a large scale DAOC type experience. Didn’t happen. I think the mighty blue Chevron is the worst Idea I’ve seen. It’s done nothing but produce mindless zombie players that can’t figure out what to do unless big blue is on the map. People are so dependent on big blue that now we have a NPC spawn with one so it can lead people around by the nose. They could of at least let guild leaders have a squad type ability with the chevron that only ‘guild’ members can see instead of trying to force people into leading a public zerg.
Rewards are weak….. Killing individual players gets you nearly nothing. You don’t even see 90% of your bags drop which means you’re missing out on badges… list can go on and on.
Without role players Nayru you would not be playing this game or countless others. It’s role playing that created the demand for this genre of game. So get over it.
Avatera — You would not get banned if you did not break something in the TOS. No matter the game one must follow the rules. The argument to use profane language because it’s ‘role playing’ has been beat to death.
Since when does role-playing mean you have to be nice and co-operative?
TC is the unofficial roleplay server, and in general, has a lot of nice people that work together as a team. If you’re not nice, and are not willing to co-operate with each other, don’t come here. If you are, you’re more then welcome, hit up TSG or PINK, or any other WvW guild we have.
Constitution does not apply to games.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
UO was 15 years ago and some of your ‘facts’ are opinions. That being said.. I would agree that necromancer class has some issues.
Interesting…. buddy and I were just discussing that it sure seems that no matter what character you play you get majority of drops for other classes. I
WvW is getting to be easy mode more and more.
I’m sure I don’t receive over 90% of my loot in WvW. Things simply move to fast and the majority of the time I don’t even see a bag. Minimum Badges should go right into your bag!
It doesn’t’ say PVE world completion.. it says world completion.
Same problem here.
what ranger changes?
I’m quite tired of being broke all the time. It’s one of the one things that really is starting to put me off. No, I’m not going to pay cash just to be able to ‘play’.
I have been to Orr a few times. Yes, it’s an utter pain in the kitten I loath Orr and the new zone. I do not go there. The amount of CC and knock backs is just utterly horrible. It does not make it challenging it just makes it an annoyance. \
I have two more guys close to 80.. once they are done I doubt I’ll play much after that until I see some improvements to WvW. The pve quite honestly is just boring. It’s not challenging in the least. High level mobs just have a ton of hp so it takes you forever to bring them down… /yawn.
@Nefar.8135
yeah go solo in the picture I posted above, just try it, and no stealth allowed, Orr areas are impossible to solo, I wasted like 10s on rez and repairs last time I went there and I dun think I’ll get back there anytime soon.
I would have to agree. I’m kitten tired of being broke and unfortunately I’m not an adolescent with 10+ hours a day to spend playing. I’m also not going to try and play the ‘market’ when it’s controlled by bots. I’m not spending money every month on gems to convert to gold just to feel like I might be able to have a ‘fun’ time. The longer I play this game the less appealing it becomes.
I don’t even bother going to orr or that new area. Getting knocked around and CC all the time is absolute garbage.
Personally, I think being able to join multiple guilds is the worst idea I’ve seen and I’ve been playing these games since 1991. (original Never Winter Nights) However, just joining a guild because of some advertisement, like he states he did and then being surprised at inactivity does not surprise me. A few simple questions and research on the guild would easily show you the quality of a guild. He simply didn’t do his homework.
I solo all the time and have no issues. However, I don’t do dungeons.
WvW need some love.
You’re not supposed to make gold, you’re supposed to buy it.
So tired of the ‘entitlement’ comments. It’s like I’m listening to faux news Republican propaganda machine.
I went twice so far with my 80. I won’t be back. I absolutely hate those zones.
You lose all credibility when you can’t take the time to spell you correctly.
All the “take a break” shouters are missing the point. Taking a break only leads to not being able to play future content. How soon that’s going to happen is unknown to each and every one of us players – even those who love the grind.
I actually like the idea of the infusions, even the different tiers of infusions. But the ascended gear itself represents a broken promise, a shattered hope – I can’t watch the linked manifeso trailer without getting sad.
We came from another p2win asia grind mmo, switched to GW2, fell in love with this game – what a difference! Not caring about gear, max gear was no issue, because it was easy to get. Some of us play quite a few hours a day, some only 2, but it didn’t matter – we could still do everything as a group.
That’s the past.U can still do everything playing 2 hours a day, tell me something that u cant do?
The little boy want a legendary (worth very few stats more) playing 2 hours a day? u will in some months where is the problem? U want to do max progress in the newest dungeon playing 2 hours a day? U will in same weeks and just with exotics gear, buy the agony resistance socket with crystal and get the ascendant ring or whatever from the dungeon itself!!
U are just jealous ranters, “wannabe hardcore” that want everything they see from others players in game playing 1 hours a day. The content allow everyone (hardcore and casuals) to play the game and enjoy it.
Real casuals dont rant on forums for this things, they just play and have fun with friends. My girlfriend is dressed in rare/green (no exotics except underwater weapons and a staff lvl 78) and we are actually at fractals diff 9. just tell me something u cant do in this game as a casual????p.s. in which way the cash shop should be an edge on progression in the game?
This is … just too much. If all that is right I’m not worried. I’m relieved. It means I can quit this game and never come back and rely on all themepark games becoming utter trash in the name of profit.
Just a note… I have been playing EVE Online since last Friday or so, and while the game has a MASSIVE learning curve it really is a blast.
100% PvP, Full Loot Drop, Sandbox-Style game based on being an immortal space ship captain.
I have given up on all MMOs, and all multi-player “themepark” style games.
Yes, Eve seems nice at the start… You will quit in less than 90 days.

Grinding your life away is not fun in any way. So much for the ‘next generation’ mmo. Just more of the same.
39 Here. I’m staying but now that I’ve hit 80 it’s turning a little stale. The people I’ve played with are mostly in their 30’s and are staying. Really there is just no where else to go at the moment that is competitive. Younger generation not playing doesn’t bother me though. They are all about instant gratification.
It’s not worth the time or effort to craft anything for your character. You will end up simply making yourself frustrated and broke.
I’m sure they will cave to your wishes eventually.
I’m just curious as to why anyone even bothers with the TP other than for something ‘rare’. I’ve found, leveling up 4 characters that easily 99% of the time I can sell dropped item to a npc vendor for the same price as the TP. I see people that list 1 copper over the price an npc purchase price since the buy orders can’t be prices lower any longer. Even doing this doesn’t make any sense.. You’re listing at item at a loss why bother?
Age Of Conan still has the best music IMO.
I would have to agree with Haelis. I’ve crafted in games just as long and seen many different crafting mechanics over the years. The more I craft in GW2 the more my annoyance with the system turns into outright dislike. This also bleeds over into my disgust with the ‘trade post’ system…that’s another matter though.
Yes, it has. Thanks for asking.
Welcome back to the ultimate hamster wheel of gear.
*Now with panda
I would say it depends on your play style rather than the amount of content provided. I personally came for the siege warfare. To me that’s my end game. I’m satisfied. I also enjoy to run the dungeons a couple times with friends. I have a level 80 and have not seen 50% of the map. ( I have a level 37,30,15 as well) Even with all these levels I still have 60% of the lands to discover. So for me I have some time yet until I’m out of content.
However, if you’re the type of player that wants to get to 80 fast and do dungeons/raids until dawn 5 times a week…Yeah, I could see content getting a little stale.
I had to upgrade my system to play efficiently. I was running an E7500, 8GB, HD6850 small skirmish was fine but anything over that got progressively worse until it was unplayable. My video was fine, it’s the cpu that’s the bottleneck.
I built a new rig. Used my old HD, video, and PSU. Picked up i5-3550, 8 gigs, GB – Motherboard. I run on full graphics now 1920×1080 and have 0 fps issues.
Feranor: Exactly.
We can’t see over half the artwork in the game as it sits. If it’s not the FOV then what is the correctly term? Right now the camera view is utterly horrible. If I try to look up I end up looking at my characters rear and can’t see a thing. If I try and look down, say when on top of a keep or tower my vision is cut off. It’s horrible plain and simple. It’s truly the worst thing about this game.
