People defending stealth thieves just don’t get it. People play a game for fun. Despite the fact that other classes have strong builds, the reason people harp on thieves is:

Fights with warriors are enjoyable.
Fights with guardians are enjoyable.
Fights with eles are enjoyable.
Fights with rangers are enjoyable.
Fights with necros are enjoyable.
Fights with engineers are enjoyable.
Yes, even fights with mesmers are enjoyable.

I disagree… As a warrior, my favorite fights are against thieves.

P/D condi spec was always good and as easy as it might be to play. GS/Axe-shield zerker wars can still eat them for breakfast spit them out and dance on their corpse.

Thieves are usually easy for warriors… Unless they carry alot of blinds with them like D/P for example.

Pistol 5 is probably the most annoying thing ever created in this game… If you’re feeling cheesy, you should be able to hold your own against a warrior with it though.

Odd you should say that, seeing as I spent a good few hours solo roaming in EB last (australian) night, and found very few 1v1s with IoJ’ers or NSP’ers. Mostly groups of 10 ganking individuals, or scumbags jumping in on some of the few duels I did manage to find.

Moral of the story? Every server has people who 1v1, and every server has people who don’t like to 1v1. Don’t pull out generalisations like that. Makes you sound like a complete tool

On a side note, thanks to the FrFl thief who let me chase down that other thief who was too afraid to fight me inside his own camp. I was the asuran fairy mesmer.

Honestly, they are as bad as Thieves when it comes to roaming. Roaming in WvW is just Warriors, Warriors, moar Warriors. And if you look the other way you wont see anything, but the perma-stealth Thieves are all there.

I run p/d in WvW sometimes and one of my guildies Bllades does also. We personally run 0/0/30/20/20 with Caltrops, Blinding Powder and Shadow Refuge. Along with Thieves guild for the pure burst it has. I personally like it and the only time I really had trouble downing someone was with Healway guardians, BM rangers, or Cond transfer necros. Otherwise it still works. It is one of the more survivable builds due to us not having to be right next to them to fight.
