Okay. I found a way around it for myself. I went to https://account.arena.net/content and clicked the grey plus sign at the top right that says Add Code and put my registration number there. It accepted it okay and is now letting me download the client.

Has anyone found a way around this? I am having the same exact issue right now.

All of the info is correct. I checked umpteen times.

I have 9 level 80’s and not 1 has map completion. I just do not like the pve content in this game. I just can’t get into the pve as much as I’ve tried.

I do, however, absolutely love WvW. I have over 5,656 hours played and 99% of that is from WvW.

Did they say when the April Fools joke is over? Is it just 1 day? Please make it just be for 1 day.

Can we please get a response on the lag? T1 NA and SEA are unplayable. Skills won’t go off or they go off way too late.

I sadly can’t buy HoT expansion if I can’t play due to lag. I love the look and design of the new desert borderland but cannot purchase HoT expansion if the game is unplayable when I have time to play.

It became worse with the last patch. Please roll back whatever is causing the lag.

I would LOVE to see fishing added. I usually only WvW but if fishing was added to the game I would be exploring everywhere trying to find fishing holes with the best scenery. Maybe we could fish up rare miniatures or crafting ingredients or lockboxes.

I still hate Megaserver. Why didn’t they leave the major citys with their servers then make all outlying areas mega server? I would be okay with that. I hang out in the city and then go to wvw mainly anyway. I don’t like being mixed with the peoples throats I want to cut in wvw all the time.

I hate it. My server had an identity now their is a bunch of crap people around. I absolutely loathe it. I won’t buy anymore gems till my server is back or I’ll just go to another upcoming ftp game with pvp that will have servers. (I’m looking at you Archeage)

Why didn’t they leave the home citys with their servers then all outlying areas could go mega? That way there would be some sense of community there. I have no desire to play with all these other players. I want my server back.

I know anet doesn’t care but you will get no more cash shop purchases from me till it’s fixed.

I hope the RP community picks and unofficial RP server for Archeage NA/EU release. TC is just gone. I’m looking for something else to play.

I hate the megaserver. Where is my server? It’s gone. This game kittening sucks. Why didn’t they just have factions from the start? So that way when they mushed everything together after 2 years there would be some faction pride left. This is really kittenty.

I guess the people who like the kittenty pve in this game are happy. Idk how you can stand it. It’s terrible. Put some shoes on that hillbilly girl in the white dress kitten .

Thank you Anet, for giving the talented warriors a build that takes so much skill to play. Everyone knows the toughest class to play is warrior. That’s why you see so many people play warriors they want the challenge of playing against all the other easy to play classes.

I have been away from gw2 for a few months because my favorite class is unwanted in most situations.

Many times partys want warriors or gtfo. Will the patch bring other classes like necro, rangers, engi, etc up to the warrior level?

Seeing this everyday gets old.

I like necro a lot. It has become my favorite class but I can’t stand our lack of stun breaks, condition cap, and slower mobility is a big issue. Roaming in wvw if I get caught by a group of 4 I am pretty much done for because I can’t just get away like thief, warrior, elementalists etc.

Why don’t they give more mobility options to necromancers? I don’t understand why not. I see heavy armor warriors that can do just as good damage as I do leave or join fights at the speed of light. Thief can reset a fight and comeback at me over and over and over and they do just as much damage as I do.

I hear it’s because we have 2 healthbars but the life force bar just delays the inevitable. I try the worm to escape but it has a cast time and is clumsy.

Are warriors too fragile for combat so they get the best escape moves in the game while necromancer is supposed to be the tankiest? Then why give use light armor if we are supposed to be so tanky?

WHY CANT WE GET STUNBREAKS or MOBILITY or STEALTH? WHY? Give me a kitten death gate to let me walk in the spirit world for 3 seconds or something and not be seen for 3 seconds on a 30 sec cooldown, or some kind of blink on a 30 sec cd or something like mesmer staff 2 or something. Mesmer do just as much damage as I do why are they so slippery but I’m a sitting duck. Come on!

This looks like incredible fun. Cheers to the people who came up with this.

i’d like to try to get something together for NA too. i’ve been working on getting a team together on TC, but we don’t have anyone to play against yet. would it be possible to include an NA division on the site to help organize it?

Phantom this is Otto from TC. I will talk to Coral and some others and try to get a team together. We have an arena we could use to play. I am sure many on TC will want to form teams. This just looks too good to pass up.

I am 99% WvW player about 4% pve and 1% spvp.

1. I would like to see new maps for wvw and new objectives.

2. More new pve content that stayed in the game longer. I try to help our server a lot in WvW so if our borderlands or SMC gets under attack I feel obligated to go help and this pulls me away from the Living Story and I sometimes don’t get to finish.

3. Giving us the option to disable right-click targeting would be absolutely amazing.

GW2 is the best mmo out at the moment in my opinion. WVW keeps me playing so I hope more fun changes for WvW are coming.

Did anyone fraps that? I want to see it from an Omega pov. I know trying to contest while 30 + omegas are spinning to win in the LR hurt a lot.

A close friend of mine who is ele was using scepter and dagger and got the Light Up the Darkness achievement last night. She did better than anyone else I know. She was the first person I seen to get the Liadri mini.

They aren’t that hard to deal with.

Tier 1 is a lagfest where the server bogs down and many times the only thing you can hit that will work is your 1 attack. Servers can have 70 man zergs on multiple maps. Trust me, it really isn’t very fun.

I see more people leaving this game or transferring down to less laggy wvw.

Since matchups are pretty random what is the point in staying with a stacked Tier 1 server? More skilled fights? Psh, it’s more like who can blob the most players and pvdoor the fastest before the enemy blob of 70 players shows up.

A quarter of the people on T1 servers transferred up anyway and didn’t work their way up so there shouldn’t be much server loyalty from the transfers.

Transferring down seems like the best option. Less lag and less mega blob1 spamming zergs sounds great.

To the two people from the guild I can t name here who took the BG golems and purposefully destroyed them by jumping of cliffs… this kind of attitude only reinforces BG players’ idea of how pathetic the enemy is…keep it up.

Same thing happens over here. Don’t think its exclusive to your server. I guess some people think it’s funny.

We also get it on TC. It’s usually uplevels with random guild or no guild they come and take golems out in fields and leave them or take them off cliffs or build siege with keep supply in places no one would use it.

Warrior is fine people who cry just need to learn to dodge and use stun breaks. My warrior is all skill with my greatsword shield mace and healing signet. They are so bad they die to stun and hundred blades over and over and over and over. Eles Mesmers Necros and Theifs. No skill.

LEARN TO DODGE AND STUN BREAK! Not hard.

Everyone else is not skilled. I mean they should have stun breakers and learn to dodge. I mean I crafted my warrior up with cooking and I am in yellow accessory and they can’t beat me they need to l2p freakin scrubs complain warrior is OP they just cant play.

They should craft up their own warrior and get shield mace and greatsword like me and learn to play like I did.

I guess I can’t blame ya. If I had two omegas and a 65+ man zerg rockin on a sped up server I would might stack and pvdoor reinforced gates on an outmanned enemys hills too. The gates just melts and you can heal through the one ac they have on you.

The best armor for a necro would be heavy armor or medium armor after you reroll a war or a thief after you get sick of eating dirt on yout necromancer because you have kitten for stun breaks.

Just roll necromancer back. Take out dhuumfire and all the other crap and just put it back the way it was before.

If you want to play a condition class roll an engineer, warrior, or a ranger. They do it much better with way more survivability.

DS was the only useful mechanic of this class, and now with the overflow mechanic, it has completely gone. We’ll be useless in both pve and wvw. This was the necro’s main feature from the start of the game, if you wanted to do some nerfs then you should have taken back some of these buffs, not the main defense mechanic of the class which existed all the time.

I wish they would just roll it back to before the patch that added Dhuumfire and all the other that just made people flock to necromancer and everyone else yell it was OP.

They should have left it alone.

They need to nerf necro more so people will kitten and quit crying.

Please reconsider adding the rapier Anet. Many people want to throw money at you for the rapier.

These weapons are very nice (the pistol especially and the staff is radical too) but please add the rapier also.
