Behold the terrible price of getting greedy and trying to cap and hold Maguuma’s entire borderland, the culling will continue into the week. I have 125 omegas to donate to make sure of it.

Some of us were just waiting around in TCBL for the EB queue to pop when I saw the orange swords and noticed we had the outmanned buff at the time. I said on TS that we were going to lose Garrison since if you leave EB you have to wait like 30 minutes to get back in. Did end up getting enough militia in to help stop y’all at Hills…was close though :o

Except RE was A) not WvW-focused (maybe they are now) and B ) not the last WvW server on DH. Nor were they on KN.

A) We have been WvW focused since before I joined over 9 months ago.

B) We were the last large, WvW focused guild that was on every night at the time when we left Darkhaven over 6 months ago. Kain has several medium size guilds that run each night and guilds like CNB, Ph, and DD that are still around, but as of our departure we had lost more than enough guilds to maintain some decent presence in more than one BL.

I do enjoy all these trolls with no signature repping their guild or at least their server and making up kitten :P

Just to set the record straight:

It was a 35man militia zerg led by Novus that wiped a larger Rethesis force. I know exactly what I am talking about as I was there and we were doing constant supply checks.

Rethesis, we respect you. I went to the meeting when you guys were deciding on which server to choose. We knew that you guys are leaning towards TC right after the meeting, as some of your guild members like to whisper some of us.

Like I said we respect you, but after Ethersin was being odd and quiet in chat, and then got kitten about being asked a tough question(and then LEFT the chat!), there was a good portion of us that didn’t want you to come.

We were hoping to bring you over so we could show you how to open field pvp, as we know you have well specced players…

The part about our meeting with you was unnecessary in terms of this thread (even if it has derailed many times). Ethersin was in an out quite a lot that night (we had like 6 or 7 servers over several hours coming to our meetings) and I believe he was tired of talking to one person in particular (bad blood type thing from some time ago).

As far as our competency in open field I believe we are very good at what we do. Those are the fights we look for above all else. No we are not the greatest and what Little said seems to be poorly worded. We generally wipe more than get wiped on most nights, but we do get wiped and try to learn from it every time. We pride ourselves on our open field combat and do our best to train the militia on how to work on those tactics as well.

While I can say we’ve wiped to majority militia zergs…it’s not very often and it’s when we’re fairly outnumbered. I’m not going to say most militia don’t know what they’re doing and can’t follow orders, but overall an organized guild group wins a good deal of the time. Now if it’s a few RE running with militia and you wiped us with your militia…I could see that :P

But whatever, we’ll each call each other kittens and bang our drums praising our greatness…I just want some cookies and some NHL finals tonight

Oh and we were not assigned to KN BL on reset, our guild was on EB for almost 12 hours…so you know, keep crying about how injust this matchup is and how we’re here to spy on you guys or something.

I actually would appreciate if [RE] would pay for their server transfers before using gems they buy for other things first. TC is a welcoming server. You will have zero problem finding help to recover the gold, and we can also craft for you if you supply some of the materials. (Some, not all are necessary)

We’re kind of working on it. We’re also still waiting on some funds that were supposed to help us. We raised enough to transfer about 4 or 5 more today but not everyone can help and it costs 50g+ to get someone over. We also have members remaining who don’t want to leave and others who run our guild missions for us.

Long story short we’re working on it, and no we neither need or are trying to spy. We value good fights and spies serve to counter that.

It would be better for our server Kaineng to boycott WvWvW for a week and escape this imbalanced matchup. The the bandwagon (WM, CO, RISE, RE, Meow, XF, etc.) Kaineng wasn’t able go through the needle that is TC and FA T2 to go to T1. Do you expect a weaker server now void of these bandwagoners (even these bandwagoners are now on the other side) fare well with this same matchup?

I just don’t want CHIPSY and RE and KN bandwagoners to FA if there are any having the idea that what they did was right getting out of KN. Better lose rating by boycotting this just to flip KN’s finger to them and to the matchup in general.

I know it’s a game. But to be in full control of the situation sometimes you gotta be in full control of the path of the server that it is treading. You just don’t force yourself fighting the invincible zergs of T2 servers which sadly house the prolly now gloating exKNs. Boycott the matchup and let them TC and FA farm each other. Uphold your pride and honor and don’t give them an impression that KNs are walking lootbags.

Kaineng is better fit to fight CD/YB/EBay or prolly Mags. (leaderboard ranking tier) T3-T4 which is quite impressive still after all those exodus from bandwagoners.

Kaineng was T8. Bandwagoners got it to T2. Most of the bandwagoners left and the current KN population is maintaining the server to T3-T4. so from T8 to T3-T4. Impressive still.

I’d rather have the third server show up than pack it in to leave FA vs TC. We don’t have the coverage on our own to keep things from being paper thin all week.

Yeah, that’s what im doing. Coz i refuse to be farmed by CHIPSY and RE and etc. If the rest of Kaineng carries on then i apologize to them in advance but i choose not to be a part of this imbalanced matchup. I’m just one person though so my contributions won’t matter. But just saying.

I don’t wanna be one of those guys who bang their heads on the wall doing the same kitten and expecting different results. T2 servers have the people, the zerg skills and experience. And Kaineng is recovering from its own wounds – less populated and still demoralized. There are times when you retreat and save yourself from even more shame. And this time is one of those.

Again, I must point out that FA-TC-KN was T2 matchup with all those bandwagoners and KN failed. Now that bandwagoners are gone and we have the same matchup again? Do you expect KN to get the top spot on this tier? The thought by itself that KN will perform superbly good defies logic. Only a miracle can make that happen, though (Prolly Ajax Blue is the 2nd coming).

I’m just suggesting to my fellow Kaineng that boycotting is a valid tactic. Remember Gandhi and his civil disobedience? He won the war by not enganging to war.

Boycotting is not much of a strategy. You’re going to do nothing but get your militia even more depressed cause they will lose whatever leadership is left. RE left for our own reasons, mainly because of the exodus, but we still tried to train people up until we left. Try and keep the militia active even if you are losing or some of them will never come back.

The way that some of our members who chose not to transfer are being treated is also sad. Several have been cursed out, and told to detag. Even when they explain that they are not spies and obviously have no reason to they get flak. Just because of the tag and the fact that they chose to remain. I would hope you all don’t treat them this way…

SoR was the most exciting server I ever played. Although I am a new TC player, I can tell you I learned more fighting them than I have learned my entire WvW experience. I will take losing to them more often if we get fights like we did last week. It helped me step up my play because of the high tempo that SoR plays at. Special thanks to [FEAR], [TSYM], [IRON], and [HELIOZ] for the tough fights!

The video makes it look like you click on a number of skills. (The keybindings show your utilities mapped as numbers, not letters.) But, hey! To each their own. Personally, I have two skills that I always click on, and one of them is also the elite. The other is most often decoy. Those are time sensitive skills and I’ve found I’ve accidentally activated them before when I did not mean to, so I removed the bindings.

Mesmer is all about precision and less about button mashing; you handle the class well. Hope to see more footage.

Well if he can show some footage of him not clicking his utilities most would believe him. I was a clicker back in the day (when I played WoW up until like 2010), but this game just makes it so easy to not be a clicker.

Not going to troll, but I will advise you to not respond to the others Testament. You should honestly work on never relying on clicking, especially with things that require twitch like reflexes. But you don’t have to, play your game your way

We stick to our TS since a member bought a server with a year license with his own money and offered it to us to use before the second community TS came out. We don’t stay isolated because we are moving, we advertise our TS all the time. Just wanted to clear that up. Our server is open to those we run with so stop on by.

That was when they “baited” us into the harpy area to try and aoe/block the doors. We wiped them and Zero wanted their commander so he chased him back lol

To the [RE] Guild in Kaineng, I have great admiration for the coordination and organization you guys always put together. The best experience and fighting I get in Eternal Battlegrounds is from your Guild hands down. I wish it were so easy on Maguuma to say that I had a full “Guild Zerg” running around bulldozing things but for us Maguumas, our zerg when you fight it consists of at best a 50-50 diffrerence between pugs and the mixture of WvW Guilds. I hope that you still enjoy the fights. I would have to say that Saturday (5/4) in the mid-afternoon before we abandoned Eternal Battlegrounds to take East Keep, we had a very healthy even exchange of wins – losses but you guys seemed to really get kitten off and leave after we beat you at the grub. Also, thank you to JudgeD for the compliments, that was me and the Maguuman Army! I look forward to fighting you more in the future, I have been working diligently to get the non-guild players or new-guild players to work on their coordination, builds, etc.

If you were fighting an actual RE zerg at the grub it sure as heck was not being commanded by Ethersin lol

As for them leaving, if Ethersin was there they may have gone to do something else…but since you fought them at the grub that probably just means they were like “meh let’s go do some PvE”.

Looking for one week of the matchup thread that is not dominated by passive aggressive TC posters making condescending or misleading posts, or by my own FA even bothering to respond to these pompous winkittens.

Bottom line from the GM of a guild that has fought most of the best guilds in WvW, on either side of the NA/EU divide. You aren’t going to find any of them on TC.

A few of the terms that I see being thrown around here loosely are " classy" and “respect”, both definitions of behavior of which I have yet to see from the posts of the self appointed TC forum voices.

The funniest part of it all is that TC can’t afford to try the idiocy of the dolyak parade ever again, because PPT has overtaken their lives, the need to beat FA is in and of itself a fine reward, each call for reinforcements from an already huge server a quiet joke for the observant.

Oh, one final note…. TC posters, you can drop all the pretenses of how “nice you are”, we know you are in a win at all costs mindframe, and it’s ugly. And no, my guild isn’t interested in transferring to TC, so please have some self respect and just quit with the harassment.

I know that niceness and kindness are two different things. Just because one person hugs you does not mean its love. I get it, I know the deal…etc! However, as far as FA’s gameplay goes, I can judge and observe because I did play a lot of WvW on the side of FA. I’ve played a lot this week on the side of TC…

If you wish to talk about non-PPT..Just killing players?

Daze on our group of five, decimated many groups of five. We aren’t the best in the world, but it also proves that some of the FA guilds are all talk, specially when talking about havok squads. Remember how you boasted to be better than TC? You aren’t! and we have to say that we are having an easier time killing most FA guilds on the field than we had at killing more TC guilds out there.

How about in the zerging? FA claims to be better and not zergball at all? Guess what…The only guild we have not consistently destroyed from a pure pug group lead by a commander this week has been BT, but…a commander with 50% of his force guild-members and the other 50% pugs, destroys BT consistently over and over again across the map.

You claim FA never gives up? More like TC does not give up. They are willing to go all seven days and not sleep on the job. If I want a break and do my daily, I can go to PvE where there are so many more players on the map that I can get things done while on FA most of the maps on PvE are empty outside of the high level maps or start zones.

Remember, half my guild is on FA and all I need to do if you make a “true” or “false” claim is to go ask them to check up on it and they will not lie to me on the matter. If you make a claim about TC, I am on TC now and can figure out and see truth over lie…

Finally, TC is cheerful enough with their antics on the field in WvW, but I love those antics because truth be told…yes! I have seen a lot more friendliness and kindness so far from TC than FA. In fact unlike FA, TC actually appreciates small guilds, their actions and effort.

Oh my gosh. “My group is better than your group, my zerg is better than your zerg, FA sucks blah blah”

When will you stop? If you want a challenging 5v5 I dare you to beat my group.

Everytime AoN is seen on the map TC people simply say, just run right by them and get on with the task at hand. Whereas your group is good at running around with 8-10 players you are viewed as a non threat and a time sink to chase around to try and kill, so we don’t being almost always other things take president.

I don’t say this as a chest thumping kind of deal. I’m just letting you know why groups from 10-30 are passing you by without so much as slowing down to wave. TC views AoN as more of a havoc team that goes around contesting POI or taking camps, attacking stragglers and such. Kind of a weak tea but whatever floats your boats sirs.

Whatever makes you feel better, I suppose. Our 5 man wipes anything less than 30 people. If you’re running more than 30 people, the simple fact that you’re sticking as a huge ball like that is a time sink on its own.

Lol and stuff. I thought the last of the “zerg killers” we encountered were seen falling with maguuma. No one cares how awesome your “5” man group is. You get squished or are really good at running away. Any decent guild group would ignore you :p

Server-wide truces are selfish, especially during prime time hours.

Many people only have a few hours a day to WvW. To log on and find no fights because someone is organizing a PvE event is kind of crappy.

If you must do something like this, schedule it for the off-hours, like before noon.

You guys are getting along fine. I just transferred from BG to TC after getting tired of the ridiculous mega-zerging and skill lag that is T1 WvW and i can say that your thread is excellent and really fun to read. If you are prepared for some hardcore cringe, go check out the JQ-BG-SoR thread. Be warned though.

Transferred off BG for the same reason. TC is great compared to BG once I found a great group to stick with. Lots more fun

Good to hear theres more that are doing this. Tranfered off of Bg as well but went to FA. Went with the least zergy server. Definitly quality over quantity. Not sure Tc knows any other way but to zerg something.

I’m sorry but churning earth has a max target of 5. It does no where near enough damage to 1 shot anyone, much less have a zerg go down to 4-5. OP is having living nightmares or something.
