Had fun at fight club tonight but had to log early for work! Looks like majorfail tried to ruin everyone’s fun. Great job moving to another BL and getting everything set up again. Haters gonna hate, and crashers gonna crash I guess. Stay classy majornoob.

This action is kind of ridiculous…banning a group from one guild because of a concerted reporting effort by enemies is kind of sad

It is with great sadness that I want to announce that Win Everyday(WE) is moving from Darkhaven to Dragonbrand. We’ve been with Darkhaven since the release of the game(three of our commanders are among the first ten on the server), we have helped build up the server since the DHU alliance tore the heart out of Darkhaven’s WvW forces, we helped again after Darkhaven reached tier4 and was destroyed. But the situation for Darkhaven’s organic WvW scene is worse than ever before. After the DHU fiasco Darkhaven had RE, GoF, SE, HoT, HVN and WE ready to step in and rebuild.

Now? GoF is gone, SE is gone, HoT has more or less retired from WvW, HVN has folded, RE is leaving.

This would not be crippling for Darkhaven, if it had another group of guilds waiting in the wings to save the server. But it does not. I’ve watched closely, putting hours into WvW every single day since release. Guilds like Omen, DRoW, SoS all had potential to really aid Darkhaven’s WvW scene, but none have reached critical mass, and each has somewhat withdrawn from WvW.

WE have tried the alliance game. We’ve tried the server-community website. We’ve offered a public mumble to everyone on Darkhaven. There has been little to no response. We’ve coordinated and communicated with anyone and everyone on the server who are willing. And the vast bulk of the server doesn’t care. Their version of WvW is simple. Enter WvW and ask, “Where is the karma train?” If there is no karma train, leave WvW. Defend? Not a chance.

And we’re done trying. It isn’t worth it anymore. Darkhaven is a PVE server at heart. BURN, DHE, TRA and others all have hundreds of members, and have little to no desire to do WvW.

To that small band of loyal fighters(those who respond to defensive calls, and leave the karma train) we’re sorry to abandon you. Silverback, Skap, Togochubb, Lokii, Flint; Omen, DR, PD, EXE, PaK members, and a few others I’m sure I’m forgetting. We’re sorry. You guys all deserve so much better.

WE like working with you guys, and hope you’ll consider coming along to Dragonbrand.

brief RE history. Something tells me when they finally meet a server with the same amount of ppl online for WvW (aka Dragonbrand), we’ll be seeing another one of these speeches, only from Kaineng. And that NEO alliance will be another DHU.

You accuse us of going to DB (which we never did as a guild, though I’m sure some went there for map completion) and then use a post by WE as evidence? We were never formal members of DHU, just fyi. That thing was flawed from the start.

I’m interested in this matchup. Loved fighting magumba back when we were on DH. We got a couple more WvW guilds this week and last so a real challenge should bring out all our numbers week long like on reset nights. I also expect to see more coming out on resets and sticking around for more than 2 hrs.

Where do we claim that in almost every post? Others like to claim we say stuff like that and we like to think we can make it, but we don’t go all over our matchup threads claiming this. I’m looking forward to reaching a tier with coverage and competition that doesn’t need breakout.

Kaineng “zergs” have been the easiest to handle in terms of just straight up killing. That goes all the way back to T8 and judging from last night, nothing has changed there. There are just more zerglings to deal with.

Maguuma “zergs” have been the hardest to handle since they have some leaders and scouts that people actually listen to, are on voice together, and act cohesively.

There was nothing honest there, straight up opinion. And as for the spawn campers, most of us wouldn’t do it. We can’t control everyone :P

First time I’ve seen anyone take SM back from WM after they initially took it. RE, SoS and others are having some fun on DR borderland taking back cliffside…heck of a defense there! Shout out to my ele buds helping defend our treb and wall

RE has hosted fight club for 14 weeks now and we are not going to stop after our Kain move. The fight club is for having fun with our opponents, and everyone on our server that attends has enjoyed it. You may not like transfers, but save the vitriol for your guild chat as I’m sure a mod will see to your post at some point.

Must have been after I was gone. RE are the coordinators of FC and try to enforce the rules so I find it odd that Littlefeather would allow any kind of acting out.

They put up a better fight than PAXA did when they tried to wipe us. At least they were bold enough to attack those of us waiting in line to fight instead of using portal bombs or mass invis to attack the afk observers

I would assume coverage. The NEO alliance, WM and others are seeking to create a WvW community that can compete, and we have coverage for most time frames compared to most sub-T4 servers.

Most of our alliance is native Kain. Please investigate before trying to flame. We are dedicated to this server as we were DH. We left DH after all of the other major WvW guilds were gone and no one wanted to go there. This alliance is there to provide a strong WvW community to Kain, not just bandwagon PvE guilds. That may come with surges like ours, but the goal of our alliance is to work with the server to have a dedicated WvW community.

Please stop using this thread for direct or indirect attacks on our intent.

I was stunned after the first 2 attacks which came instantly. Of all the things you listed only mist form or lightning flash would have saved me. I said I hit Shocking Aura by mistake – mistake because I was stunned it didn’t go off. Lightning flash needs a ground target to get off so it’s hard to pull of very quickly when you don’t expect it.

So, aside from mist form, exactly what is it that I need to do against backstab thieves?

Shocking aura is able to be used as long as you are not dazed. The only thing he could do to stun you is basilisk venom, in which case all your can trips could get you away. This includes armor of earth and cleansing fire which I did not list.

Our attitudes? The guilds that came to Kain treat everyone on the server properly. If members of NEO were bashing or trolling server-mates there would be quite an issue raised. You did not call any guilds out because they are either a) non-existant or b) too small to be anything other than those who claim the transfers have ruined their imaginary world of mini-wvw that they think existed in T8. You come in claiming of potential mass exodus (from a server with a recently bolstered WvW community), with no evidence and claims of some magical Kain forums no one knows about.

Take your recruiting to your own thread and leave the trolling to our opponents who accuse us of being spiteful, egomaniacs out to ruin their fun.

There have been recent rumors that many kaineng guilds are planning to move over to ET. Well, let me be one of the first to tell you that we don’t want you here. Following the kaineng forums closely and having friends on kaineng, I have come to find out that many of the same guilds that wish to move to ET are the same guilds that are causing most of the drama. You have no one to blame for your bad communities but yourselves and wherever you move your attitudes are going to follow. ET has its own trolls and we honestly don’t need any more. We will come back from the ashes and rebuild our server with the people who choose to come here with an open mind and a willingness to help and learn from one another. The sad fact is, the kaineng you knew and loved is gone, but it’s your own fault. We are not against people moving here, but we are against guilds such as yours.

I don’t normally complain about thieves, but since I saw this thread I’ll comment. Thieves don’t normally bother me in a 1v1 situation because you are aware and their moves become easy to read with good timing and me being a mesmer makes it easier too. But I do sort of have a problem with them in skirmishes. If you’re not aware thieves can burst you in less than 2 seconds. They can pop in and out of the battle near unnoticeable and then just burst people down again, rinse and repeat etc.

-This ss: took over 20k damage in less than 2 secs and im not even glass cannon (2.5k armor)

There is no question that in terms of individual ability, speaking of the majority, Kaineng is by far the worst we’ve faced. There are exceptions to that statement but they are few and far between.

What makes Kaineng so dangerous is that our “huge” zerg of 10-15 can engage a Kaineng zerg of 30-40 that within a minute is reinforced by another zerg of 50. They just never stop coming.

Just the opposite. I pretty much suck. So imagine what that says about the majority of Kaineng.

So the up leveled groups you’ve wiped couldn’t give you a fight. Come to fight club and prove your skill. Littlefeather will post the details soon I imagine.

The three outer quaggan nodes = sends the veteran quaggan to the entrance of bay, garrison, and hills to attack the gate.

The middle quaggan node = creates the weather lightning storm to kill siege everywhere.

Nope. Keep quaggan nodes generate lightning that hits keeps and contests them. They also create the quaggan squads that attack or defend the keep. You can cancel this by attacking the power node located near the icons on the map. The central node is responsible for supply camp quaggans.

You can target them. But they are probably going to be behind you meaning your tab will pick something else first, most likely. Best way to beat a thief is being mobile and slowing or stunning them, and also not being a glass cannon.

So since most of the dmg in this game is a PBAoE and/or channeled attacks that continue to do damage even after a thief, mesmer, ranger or others enter invisibility…they should automatically be removed from it? Don’t know if you know this but most thieves (even mine wearing full PVT gear) would get smashed in an even shorter period of time than I already am when out of stealth.

So you enjoy T8? I would like to know what has changed that you want back. Yes there are more on the server now and we’re not up to the tier where we will face even competition. Other than the somewhat less exciting match up, what is missing (or unwanted addition)?

So tired of facing these zerg servers man, they just ruin everything for the rest of us!

Since your transfers in and your human wave through t8-t6, you are simply your numbers, you will only see your true worth when you fight servers that are on equal terms as has been the case for DR and DB as well. Don’t get bent out of shape over it. NSP and AR could be the the most amazing tacticians ever and you could be be completely talent-less (not saying you are, btw) and the result will be the same this week. In WvW on a server level, Skill>numbers if numbers are close. Otherwise Numbers > skill.

We don’t get bent out of shape, statements like your first post are exactly what I was talking about. You never see posts from our server claiming we are the best. It’s posts like yours making general statements “Yet another week watching a transfer titan stomp around and claim they are the best thing ever. " That do nothing but try to inflame us, yet I have never seen a Kaineng member talking down to anyone but trolls in these threads.

That would be a zerg, they don’t run up to the supply camp and go, “ok guys there is 4 dudes in there with npcs…lets only send in 7 people.” No they send in the zerg, wipe everything quickly and re-supply. That’s why you take a zerg to a supply camp.

Have you seen NSP borderlands? we own NOTHING at 2 am.. Why would they need to supply up when they have everything sieged and fortified? But that’s ok I have 2 superior ballistas a nice choke point and an idea that Quenta would be proud of today,,, let the badge farming commence, the bigger the zerg the better. Oh and BTW 1 suppy camp= 100 supply so only 10 people can supply up there anyway.

Yes, a supply camp holds 100 supply. That’s 100 supply they didn’t have. Either way, the original point stands. They were there and it’s not like they are going to hold back just so happy mctwoaccounts can have his “fair” fight. Go ahead and farm the zergs, they probably don’t really care :P

For Anet, enough with the server transfers already, last week was what T6 should be, stop allowing fair weather transfers to create steamrollers that completely destroy any semblance of balance in the lower tiers.
