If you have lots of karma, there’s a way. Buy a certain level cloth armor from karma vendors (the one south of LA has the right one) and mystic forge it. You’ll get items you can then salvage into linen. It’s still boring, but it’ll break up running around killing the same enemies.

I get so confused when people say YB hides behind siege, when everyone does that. On YBBL last night trying to take fire keep, there were a million arrow carts aimed at us – I don’t remember who had fire at the time, but it was a lot of siege to take down when we got inside.

Warriors are important because of the banners they put down to res downed people – very important when the commander is down. If you’re running with a specific commander a lot, ask if you can join their guild – a lot of guilds have builds you can use!

Mesmers/Chronomancers are helpful, even though some commanders don’t appreciate them I’ve been told “mesmers are useless in wvw!” But when tags ask the zerg for a mesmer to put down a portal or give the siege users alacrity, they get kitteny if there isn’t one in comms/in the zerg.

Mesmers kitten people off in pvp, so that’s always fun to watch

Your best bet when running with a zerg is to talk to the other mesmers in the group, and coordinate who has what. That way the group has veil and portal and alacrity and stuff, and you can use what you want!

I run with smaller groups, so I end up changing my utility skills on the fly a lot. We need alacrity, veil, sometimes portal, sometimes feedback is SUPER important (especially when defending), if we’re havoc I need mass invis (unless we’re fighting, then I need gravity well), and I always have blink on. If there’s other mesmers in teamspeak I don’t need to switch so much, so that’s always nice.

Another reason could be people from the other servers seeking out others that have high/low ranking in zerg fights. If someone’s high rank in pvp and wvw, they’re more likely to be a driver, and should probably be taken down first.

It feels like Anet is hurting for money. Outfits by themselves are already expensive, and it’s not even skins. Now this pack – if you want any part of it, it’s 2000 gems. Why?

When changing dyes, after hitting apply, in the preview window my whole outfit will be one color. I can’t change it, and it only goes away after I exit and come back. It’s happened to a friend of mine too.

Loading from character select to LA took a full 2 minutes just now.

Since the patch, it feels like using waypoints got more expensive. Not a whole lot, maybe 30-50 copper. Is it just me?

This feels weird to put on a forum. I have a female human mesmer wearing the carapace pants. While swimming, I noticed there’s a red line going down the underwear. A human elementalist had the same problem with the same pants, but not a sylvari necro.

Is this a known bug?

I’m easy to please, so I want the box version to come with a poster Maybe something small like a pin or a lanyard?

I’m excited that legendaries will still be top, because I’m still trying to get one! It would be disheartening to have done all that work, finally get a legendary, and it be not the best gear anymore.

This is a VERY important question dude, I have to ask people to wait on me all the time! It would be so nice to use something other than a focus, I really don’t like it other than to run fast. Pistol is more fun for me.

Definitely! I hope getting it adds an extra character slot for the new profession, but if not I’ll delete one of my lower levels I don’t really play. Probably my Asura, I never play her;

Guild parties! There’d be a planned time and everyone in the guild would come to the hall, and dance and socialize and have contests! This is especially good for big guilds, and in GW1 was good for Alliances (several guilds were under an alliance), because the guilds could all get together and make new friends

I’m not sure if it’s been talked about (I’m sure it has), but things I really loved in GW1 were guild capes and guild halls.

Backpacks are fine, and shields are great if you have the class, but capes are flashy and floaty and bright and easy to see! I miss them, and seeing different color combos and guild crests everywhere!

Guild halls were a great place to meet up and trade things, or have guild parties! I remember everyone getting together and doing emotes and giving presents, and just having a great time!

Are there any plans to include these things in GW2?

I so want a cape! I’d personally pay for it, like you pay for guild emblems on things. Not a gold, but I would pay. <3

I want a real baby Quaggan _

Just wanted to say how much I love my storyline. I’m a human, commoner, Guardian, Vigil, saved the orphanage, sided with the Order of Whispers once (I think it was a good choice), and just finished a quest showing me some possible events of the future! SO COOL.

I’m missing dungeons. My friends are too low level ;_; Do I need to be doing them so I don’t miss out on my storyline?

In Divinity’s Reach, you can find NPCs talking about places in GW Factions (totally forgot the names of places, it’s very early in the morning)

I really really really really really hope there’ll be holiday events! I want Halloween costumes _ And not just on the gem store, but as drops, so everyone gets a chance I love the costumes tab, so I would love costumes for every ingame holiday!

I like that it’s not supposed to be for profit. If it was, everyone would take the crafts that make the most money, and the prices would down, and the same thing would happen. Crafted things are bought by the players, not Anet. The money is in selling mats, so that others can craft, and up their own things (cooking benefits the cooker and all of their friends, just to get rid of the food x_x) and things for-cost for their friends to up their own level (leatherworker makes bags for guildies for cost of the mats).

Also, cooking levels you faster than Artificing. But I still can’t find lemons.

3 females and one male, but I don’t like him very much, so I may delete him and start over x_x he’s a noble, but he’s kinda scruffy looking, and has a scar on his eye. I didn’t think about that when making him…
Anyway, my girls are human, norn, and sylvari. I refuse to make a charr. I’ll probably have an asuran as my last char slot, and I don’t know if it’ll be a boy or a girl. I usually do all girls, their armor is cuter.

133 hrs 31 mins over 21 days. Sooooo…. 6.35 hrs a day o.o; I mean I don’t play EVERY day, but when I do play I do a lot of stuff! I finish all the vista points and pois and that takes a while! ~embarrassed~
