When pressing tab for switching between enemy’s it can be a real pain to actualy find your target.

Sinds walls and white flyes get priority above the actual threat.
Would be nice if this problem will be looked at.

Defense siege on towers (as intended??)

The strange behaviour of defense siege and the easy way to destroy them.
AoE that hit the whole area of the upper area of the wall to destroy it. But put it behind a door and you hit everything ?? It has to be reversed. Behind door out of sight, but on top of wall out of range for the enemy. Enemy need a counter messure to destroy that siege with other siege. If you want tact in the game introduce something. What’s the point of having defense messure on top of a wall what can be destroyed from the ouside bij a Big AOE field that is spammed every 10 sec or being zerged by players in seconds? Let it be undestructable / out of range to player aoe. Like in the good old days.

Being sieged from tower to tower??
Plant a treb on a building behind wall and hit the other tower with no counter messure? Except take that tower and destroy it. ( if you have the people enough ) or plant a treb on your tower and hit there wall??
Make it so that distance from tower to tower is far enough to be out of range.
In my lifetime i never saw 2 castles 200 meters from eachother.

WvW is at this moment a utter flaw.

Why?

Whole WvW is based on a numbersgame. the server with the best coverage during the week and numbers wins.

Unbalanced reward system.

Run in a blob or Zerg and get all the loot. Rest like scouting, escorting, reinforcing or upgrading Waste of time and gold. except an gj in /M chat

But sinds we have the new map, zerging there continues due to the high and quick reward system, whilest the borderlands have the outmanned buff.
And you can fight agaist veterans and mobs, but no players.

Seisons that just promote zerging, because the ppt is a broken mechanic.
Also the guild transfers because of that to higher or lower tiers. What is A-Net finds okey sinds it is there income.

The introducing of Borderland bloodlust buff. > great on paper but to often left neutral. No point of running alone sinds you don’t have any chance to hold it even without resistance. So why bother.

No new content that actualy make it rewarding / fun to do.

Totaly no tactics required in this game of caputuring points. Just run 60 bash a door and storm inside.
(Example 10 AC + 2 Cata 2 trebs as defence) But melt a door with 15 golems in 20 sec
Tactic? or just based on numbers?

Dear A-Net, just don’t be glad of your thoughts that WvW is your most succesfull achievement. Insted it’s time to get the heads out of the sand and listen to your community that is running away slowly towards other games.

Serious bug, stealth mechanic

This happens sinds the release of the latest patch.

Stealth skills don’t trigger stealth but gives reveal as soon you trigger the skill.
I get the feeling, that reveal comes first and disables the stealth mechanic in progress.
I tested this on thief and mesmer in spvp. And notice in both cases this occurs often.

As soon i press for example the skill decoy, no stealth icon appears but right away the reveal icon. This brings the skill on cd and you get a nice reveal bug as bonus.

Pls look into this issue.

Do people buy any of their rares/exotics off the TP for throwing into the Mystic Forge? If yes, how does it differ from buying your precursor off of the TP?

Yes. I bought 4 exotics from the TP for my precursor, and it differed quite a bit because last I saw, precursors weren’t ~12g. That’s all it took for me to get my precursor, one lucky throw and it was game over for that endless grief and bitter resentment I was harbouring for everyone that had either luck smile on them for getting their precursor or worse, paying RL cash or CC’ing it to get one instead.

Guys, forging a pre needn’t be such a costly thing. Before my dose of luck I actually made 1000 rare staves to throw into the forge because I wanted to say I’ve invested the time and effort into trying my luck, like what has worked for others so far as well. That was an investment of ~400g plus mat’s that I’d saved already. Take my example, which probably closely mirrors several other people who got their’s. Maybe once or twice a week, dip into the savings for either materials to craft exo’s or buy them from the TP to have a roll for that elusive pre. I never thought I’d get mine, and I’m so glad to be proven wrong this one time. Acting on a whim never felt so good — it’s worth it.

I just lost 470g of exo’s on it without any precurs. So yes people this blade has 2 sharp edges. 99% of the peeps are mostly on that wrong side.

Here is my research. Put more then 1500 rares sinds release in it > nothing.
700+ exo’s sinds release > nothing.
Today 470g of exo’s > nothing.

Realy the RNG is one big flaw in this game. Is my account hoaxed?

Yes could buy a Precurssor if it wasn’t that the prices went up by 400g again in 2 days.
So Anet see the flaw of your design.

ps. OP if you get a Dawn you know where to send it ^^

Well i just needed a Dawn for my Sunrise. Have the money and wait…. prices went up almost 400g. Yes you can grind gold more but this isn’t the way.

Hope A-Net is reading this post and start to cap this inflation 1200G for a precurssor is over the top.

Sinds it is quite on A-Net side regarding this issue and Precurssor scav hunt and crafting is on ice.
Make it easier to obtain these items. When selling these items cap the maximum for a 2 handed weapon to 750g and a 1h weapon 500G.

Don’t let a item be unreachable .

Well just posted a topic of this but seems it was already made (prob a 1000 times )
Would be great if you can choose where you belong in spvp.
If just started like me. i can understand the OP, if Devs say rank is no skill. it’s in my opinion not completly true. Time to learn it, equals a amount of skill. (ofcourse individualy)
So if you can choose the games in skill level. a lvl 40 would have challenge on it’s oppenents. But so does a 0-10 lvl. As for A-Net a extra search bar and some moderations in this game option hasn’t to be to difficult, i think?

This occurs a lot in WvW these days to me.

It’s like this: People know that sometimes when you building a ram you get stuck can’t move etc. This happens sinds release patch also when you get imobilized at the moment you blink any other movement skill.

So a 2 sec imob > perma imob (weapon switching does’nt help) and even when it does it can be on cooldown so it’s to late anyway.

I experience this now 4 times today. And yesterday 2 times.
It’s still working as intended most of the time, but after patch this also occurs. Maybe worth the while to look into it?

Question of the OP was cheapest, so yes taking this in mind I presume he hasn’t lot of gold to spend. Then this is an option to get 1 is very cheap.

If money is no option, then why bother? Buy all. It’s where the fun lays of what you do with the time you have for this game.

I agree with AkGeo 250 would be a over the top price.
100 prestine tokens is a set amount of time spending on something you need or want.
Without the RNG factor it’s a goal to work too.

So at this time the ideas are:

Ascended mats, fractal weapons, fractal armor Ascended trinks and weapons/ armor.
Are there some other people with nice ideas that can be implemented?

With Tempered spinal Blades a ascended backpiece still cost you a lot of gold.

Cheapest there is is the fractal capacitor. (not infused)
1350 fract tokens a exotic backpiece
500 fract tokens the gift for it.
24 Phil. stones at mystic forge
and 1 vial of mist essence (drop in fract)
Cost? only time and some skill points

maybe you’re right but like I said b4 what about gray trophies that’s worth 1 copper or 16?
Don’t see the hyper inflation there, yet thousands of peeps getting on daily base maybe 40s of those useless things?
This ascended material is only for throwing away, you must admit that this was not the intention of A-Net? I just hope that they find a sollution to it to make it more usable like other tier materials, if not give it a value so that it does’nt have to be delete by players.

They are not pointless, but fact is that, there are way to few things, you can do something usefull with it.
Ascended gear is nice but the quantity / demand is out of balance.

Also for the peeps that dont have any luck in there daily fract chest can obtain this after a while.

Also was thinking the fractal weapon skins for people

If you could buy them also for let’s say 100 Prestine tokens. I think that it would make a lot of people happy. Sinds you can work towards that skin insted of RNG insted of seeing other people run away with that skin.

The buffs you have now are to hard to aquire for a minimum extra + you need other mats to that are hard to come by or expensive on tp.
So that it is even not worth to consider to make.

If what you say is true, that they not ganna make this items tradeable, would it not be great if it is given a value to it so that you can atleast sell it to an merchant? Because Anet introduces also spike and other gray items that are useless, but that you can sell at least.

At the moment we have bloodstone dust, empyreal fragments and dragonite ore.
Ofcourse we can craft our weapons, gear with it and some are needed for a backpiece (ascended)

My question is this:

These materials that drop often, are there more future plans for?
as in my case i have 40 stack bloodstone dust 32 stacks empyreal and 10 stacks drag. ore.

Are there future plans so you can waste this on something usefull (buffs) what only need this crafting material? and nothing else…
Or is there a future plan that you can sell this on BLTP?

Because there are a lot of players that need 1 of these materials and the last option would be a nice way to give other players a possibilty to aquire it.

This merchant robot sells for the normal fract token backpieces etc.
But prestine tokens can be also spend here for only Ascended rings.

Sugestion:

10 prestine for 1 normal ascended ring (now)
20 prestine for infused ascended ring (future?)
50 prestine for ascended trinket (future?)
100 prestine for ascended armor chest (future?)

Fract tokens

10 for Blood dust per 3
10 for Empyreal fragments per 3
15 for dragonite ore per 3

Maybe someone else have good ideas too make your tokens getting of any use?

Judging by your screenshot it looks like you were farming for about 5-10 minutes and killed approximately 20 mobs…

I’m not sure what you are farming, but your method and/or spot are clearly not the most efficient. I used to farm SS for the skelks and I would typically get about 40 T5 blood and 8-10 T6 bloods in an hour. I think that spot has been nerfed since then, but there should be similar spots around. How many people are in your group and how many mobs/min are you killing?

Yep that’s the place i was. did it by my own and collected the mobs in the water 5-7 aprox and killed them. But this screenshot was taken after an hour. So you can be right that they nerfed the H..l out of that area. As lots of the mobs don’t drop anything other then a lot of gray crap.

As for Frostgorge yeah the everlasting train…. Point is like I said, trains is 1 thing. This here is regarding the droprate from mobs. t6 is needed to make nice stuff, for example a legendary. 8×250 t6 each = 2000T6 mat > 1 per hour is 2000 hrs of farming. So is this the timeframe Anet had in mind? Offcourse you can buy and trade and etc….. to reduce it. But still this doesn’t chance the fact that the rate is realy low.

Yes this is what i got after farming. Coud be that 1 item was from Orr that i forgot too salvage.

Normal Southsun is great for t6. Especialy underwater for quite some mobs (gathering)
So no it isn’t 1 mob at a time.

Champ bags, well from the 50 i got 1 contained 3 powerfull blood.
So rng there isn’t for me sadly. It isn’t the point here too. Just the droprange of kiling lvl 80 mobs and the acquisition of the mats are so low that it would be good if someone was lookin in to this issue.

The droprate of t6 materials.

I want to show you all what I got after a 1 hour farming. As in the picture you an see i got 1 t6 mat after 1 hour farming. My magic find (luck) is atm 154% unbuffed. The area i scavenged drops Powerfull Blood, Vicious Fang, Armored Scales.

I know buying, laurel, mystic forge etc is also an option, but that is not the case.

I hope the rate will go up, sinds t6 is priceless atm on tp. And to aquire this you need to kill only specific mobs or get lucky in opening rng bags. And in my factor of luck that is seldom.

Changes have been made to the daily reward chests for fractals of the Mists to improve ascended armor and weapon rewards.

Ascended armor and weapons now drop more often from all levels of fractals, particularly as the fractal level increases.

kk well did over the last weeks 30 runs from 29,38,49 or 50
Drops are 6 rings where 1 was infused. rest of the runs nothing.

Today a 49 > un infused ring and 38 nothing.

I know that my luck in this game is realy small but realy? This is useless. Make the prestine tokens usefull and let say save 30-50 for it so that you can buy ascended from it. Because all that rng is just not funny anymore.

Why has skill lag seemingly gotten worse?

Skill lag occurs again, during big fights. Sometimes even 1 vs a few. Framerate drops significant while a few months b4 this was acceptable.

Occurs: frequently at login after character menu.

When login do occurs and playing, lagspikes of even a minute are not strange, continued by a timeout and client kick. Followed by a Error code that my firewall is the issue.

Ambush trap is pointless.

As the word ambush says.
A thieve jumps up and start attacking.
Whats the point sitting on the mountain and wait till the trap trickers and the thieves pop up near you on the mountain? Great ambush..
Insted of that let it rise and shine on the one who walks through it. Also give it a range of 10000 like shadow trap.

Stealth and its flaw.

While in stealth targeting of the opponent still occurs.
So as defence stealth has no contribution, just shoot or do a movement skill.
Example: mesmer sword leap > while in stealth still being target and imobilized.
Ranger: Lonbow skill 2 nice track and trace.
Damage by necro while they are in shroud ( nice green line and still getting torment )
Even warriors and there leap just follow you in a curve?
Please fix this flaw or rework the whole stealth issue on thieves.

Did ogres, lighthouse and moa. No time to kill because they are elites and npc die like they are a one day fly. So rushing and yes they are safe. But hey why did i get no credit for helping out? Please try a area for participation for this sort of missions insted of killing while you dont have time for that.

Increase your MF and there will be more t6 mats drops for you. You can also take those t5 mats and use the mystic forge to make t6 mats out of them.

This might be true, isn’t that it does not count what you get from the bags. t5 transmuting to t6 in the mf is just not worth it. 50 t5 + 5 crys dust +1 t6 mat and sp = a average of 6-7 after 10 try’s

I don’t say exotics are rare, but with upscaling new kind of armor you get the feeling it becomes a lower tier. Ofc there are exotics worth a lot, keep them at the same droprate (pre’s etc)
T6 droprate is just low consider it is a lvl 400 craft item and usable for 80 lvl items. While t5 is 300-325 and used for lvl 70 till 80 what realy isn’t that is usefull only to make rares for the toilet or globs (t6 in the end)

Exotic drop and t6 mats realy need to be increased.
At the introduction of ascended weapons and soon armor prices went in a downslope.
While t6 mats are rising due to ascended crafting.
Exotics are soon more a rare then something special. Rare is just a glob chance.
Everybody knows what i am talking about > ooh an exotic what sigil is on it? mweh 1,4g on tp. Will salvage it for dark matter and globs. Maybe i get a Inscription out of it.
Even in Fractals these days peeps are more focusing on ascended weapon crate then aaaah another crappy exotic. And i realy don’t want to start in wvw about the droprates.

Considering t6 mats and it’s increase. T6 is needed to make exotics, and other higher end gear. While the droprate of these mats are rare at most. 250 heavy bags and you get maybe 10-30 utmost t6 out of it. While you are drowning in t5 leather,silk and other useless mats in the same catogorie. Same thing in level 80 maps killing mobs. t5 mats.

Good for making a rare etc but is a lvl 325 crafting mat so you can count it as a lvl 70-80 drop.

With the eye on the new gear, it would be nice to increase the mat rate for it too. So that things get in ballance again.

I opened this thread for the players of GW2 to openly put a complain for the broken mechanics in WvW (mainly the lag)
We are all customers of this product and this issue isn’t new.
At every new introduction of something new it’s getting worse or stays the same.

It’s been a year now that culling (fixed, but sometimes still happens), lag, skill lag is a major issue in this game.

If you buy a product that is working half, you bring it back till its repaired or replaced.
You get information about the progress and the estimated time the repair will take.

Why is this different and thousands of players (customers) still having a partial broken product? with no reply of progress information in return?

No Sound anymore in wvw.
Skill lag during big fights. nothing new > but 10x worse then ever.
Skills have enormous time lag up to 5 till 10 seconds
Damage you get while long out of combat. Even happened when i was at save spawn. (invul) but still.
Stomping no use flag pops up 10 seconds after, rezzing during that is aloud.
Enemies that dissapear and re-appear during 1 vs 1 or bit more.
Framerate is still in big fights 10-20 on a 8 core + 2x ati 7950
in rest this is 50-60 fps All settings high.
When all on low settings all this still occurs. and WoW is lookin better.

The skill lag is insane

1 vs 1 > enemy disappears (warrior) pops up again miss, miss, miss on both sides. It looks like a 5-10 sec constant lagspike.

Zerg vs zerg.

it’s worse then ever. see 1 vs 1 but then 10 times worse. got hit by ?? skills dont work, enemys popping from everywhere.

Season great initiative, but please let this sort of things out of it next time.

I am wondering, if doing a fractal run I often get Iron loot chests, what means exotic or higher will drop. Sadly they drop realy often a shard or other essence.

My question in this is:

Does those drops have influence in % in the drop insted of getting a exotic?
Because after a while you get another chest to find another shard in it, what means that the somewhat useless shards blocking the chance of getting a exotic or my hope after a year a precursor

I try this event today for the 10th time or so. Offcourse a fail. Got it past 75% with afterward no reward or whatever.

I must admit that A-Net overdone them selfs this time.
It’s nice to have hard content in the game as a lot of players asked/begged for it.
But the difficulty scale is not of the dragon itself. Its Pugs all over the place, afkers, Achievement wh….s, Skills of the turret users etc. To many factors of loosing this fight with a time amount for no marge of error.

I realy doubt these posts are even reading by them, because it is more importend to give a comment on the lore and that stuff, than admit that they made a miscalculation of winning for this event.

I realy tried to help and try to defeat it, but in this case of scenario it is utterly impossible. Because hey 10 dedicated good players of 100+ with the good intentions will also fail. (given example)

p.s If there is a large group (guild) that realy want to nail him down i would happy to oblige and help out. (EU server)

Yep, got 2 weapons crates from fractals so it is easy to obtain.
Crafting is to costly, but yet again, you can choose the stats of desire. The random crates just gives steady stats, but weapon of choice.

crafting permanent food / feast

Would be nice if in the near future you can discover / make recipies for a permant feast. So guildies or pugs can make use of it.

Chef is just the underdog of crafting atm. Would be nice to craft something that is permant and worth your while.

Something like forging difficulty as the high end weapons, but now the food of your choice as ingredient.

lets say as example: 100 feast of lemongrass poultry or any other feast
250 globs of ecto
50 lodestones
1 bloodstone shard

Would this not be a nice thing to add?

5 vs 7 frames dropped right away, skills also with a major delay. (normal empty borderland) Sinds last patch things become worse. Like stated before, would be nice to hear from Anet themself about there progress according this issue.

Sinds the introduction of Queens Gauntlet entrance tickets I experience that I only get that crap as rare and almost no normal drops like rare’s.

So my question is:

Does the Queens Gauntlet entrance tickets count as a Rare drop?
If so does it has influence on the other droprate of rares?
In that case remove those useless tickets.

I think that that will not solve the issues of skill lag etc. People stay in large groups as it is now in this situation. Lag is inevitable while 60 man on your side and 60 from the other server are bashing on your screen at once.
In my case i’ve a high end pc that does 45-60 fps at normal time but in those occasions it drops to 3 fps (with all on low settings) (got 2x ati 7950)
When you devide this in to seperate overflow maps you can lower this kind of problems. Especialy for those that have not the power pc or connection for it while they still want to play WvW too.

Make it like 50 people per server in 1 bl map, and 75 in EB. To compensate the total amount of players that want to play WvW let there be overflow maps.

Less lag or skill lag
More tactical
No more full maps, you just get placed in a overflow map.
GvG feeling (a bit)
Better for people that don’t have strong pc’s or internet connections

No Glob, Blob or Massive zerk
No karma train or whatever.
Need to find a way to solve the problem that when guildrun etc that all come to the same map and not all on different overflow maps.
maybe more issues.

Maybe someone can give feedback on what he or she would like to see for a change in wvw for the greater good.
