It is possible to get sued for writing and selling hacks. For example, Blizzard won vs the developers of the most used bot program at the time.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDY_Indus._LLC_v._Blizzard_Entm%27t,_Inc.

It’s possible to sue anyone over anything, just a matter of whether the case is successful in the end.

Also, in an appeal, they reversed the decision made on the bot developers, and the case is still in courts at this time.

Has it ever been tried? Or gaming companies just don’t care…

I am just calling confirmation bias on this one.

While it’s probably true that most gaming companies can’t be bothered bringing cheaters to courts, it’s not the main reason why nobody bothers.

When you sue, you want to achieve at least 1 or more out of 3 things:

1) Compensation
2) Prevent someone or some group from any action that is contradictory to you or your group’s best interests
3) Deadlock all parties in legal proceedings to buy time to achieve something important

Arenanet is obviously not going to achieve any of those 3, and they have perfectly capable lawyers, probably unlike yourself, who probably already told them about what I just told you.

So, are you a lawyer? Or someone knowledgeable enough about such matters to presume to tell Arenanet, or any gaming company, what to do?

After seeing so many people misuse terms “illegal” or “moot”, I am sure people just copy the usage off another person who used it without understanding their meanings.

Oh really now?
Last I checked I was rolling people with my ranger left and right and was giving advice since some weapons for rangers are complete traps (the bad kind) that only take your spec and so you downhill…
But pff, what do I know about my intentions…
><

Yeap, definitely really mad.

@text in bold

OP is asking for advice in PvE. Not PvP. Builds that work in PvP generally do not translate well into PvE. In PvE, swiftness, fury and might >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> just plain damage.

Flame Trap is more than sufficient for the condition ranger(is far better than Bonfire at any rate).

Shortbow/Axe+Warhorn is still the most optimal way to go.

Pikafan.3792

Rangers have few sources of Swiftness to begin with, that’s why the Warhorn is way better than the Torch in both PvE and PvP. If you want burning, take Flame Trap, Piercing Arrows and swap to a Shortbow and use Projectile Finishers.

Torch may put out the numbers, but at the expense of nullifying any sort of utility you might have had not using it.

Warhorn grants fury, might, and swiftness to yourself and nearby allies.

Torch is a close range AOE weapon that set a fire around you, burning foes.

That’s like saying the warhorn just summons a flock of birds to peck at people.
You are clearly and pointedly forgetting the best part of the weapon.
The torch toss that burns for 6~ seconds at a 900 range.

This is no political debate, there is no winning or losing so no need to twist facts.

Sorry garethh how is this political? I just listed down both weapons 2nd skills. I did not promote any one over the other.

Hmmm, don’t see where the OP specified sPvP.

I didn’t say the OP did, read the context in which I used sPvP in.

mrsrachelm.7618

I can learn the fundamentals (ie “basics”) of any class too but that doesn’t mean I’ll be able to play it well at higher levels when that added knowledge and understanding of how the nuances work together, when certain things should and should not be used etc. come into play depending on situation and so forth.

If a player can, within a reasonable amount of time, master an instant lvl 80 profession in sPvP, which is a far harder game mode than PvE, he can do it for PvE as well.

Nobody said one would master the profession instantly, but that doesn’t mean one can’t master it eventually.

More likely than not, a player would master a lvl 80 profession faster than the time it takes to slowly level from 1-80 anyway, which is a net time saved.

mrsrachelm.7618

When I learned the “fundamentals” of mathematics I didn’t then start doing advanced math theory either.

Except, the jump from playing a lvl 1 character to playing a lvl 80 character is far shorter doing Basic Arithmetic to say, something like Quantum Physics.

What a poor comparison, is that all you are capable of in a fit of desperation to prove something which is irrevocably right, wrong?

LOL! Good luck with that one, Bunzy. Go ahead and roll a baby Mesmer. If you have an insta-80 you wouldn’t learned how to play it well anyway since that’s what happens as you level up. Besides, if you’ve logged into the game anyway, you might as well give it a go!

Doesn’t take more than a day to learn the fundamentals for any profession, really. Very poor argument in general since sPvP is based around having instant lvl 80 characters so eventually you will master the professions involved.

Just make sure that when you stack condition duration you obtain a full second with it.

What I mean:

30% condition duration extends Crossfire’s duration to 3.9 seconds, which is rounded off to 4 seconds when displayed in game – this is still only 3 seconds of bleed.

One needs another 4% duration in order to hit the extra second.

The best stat distribution and maximized DPS for a condition based ranger is to go

20/30/15/0/5
with
5 piece armor slotted with the Superior Rune of the Afflicted which gives condition damage and 15% bleed and poison duration(total of 35% extended bleed and poison duration, which bumps Crossfire’s bleed duration to 4 seconds).

Take Flame Trap, Viper’s Nest and Spike Trap as your Utility Skills, as each cast of the traps is worth 3-5 Crossfires on a single target at least.

I use half Rampagers and half Carrion to balance between offense and survivability. My dps is high enough that I pull aggro 10 seconds into the fight without fail between setting high-damaging traps and applying copious bleeds.

Tip: My Flame Trap does 608 burn damage per second over 7 seconds, with 129 damage per second pulsing over 3 seconds. That’s 4643 damage on a single target, and can hit up to 5 targets. Definitely better than just spamming Crossfire.

If you followed any sort of logic, you would never even touch the part where a traited Ether Renewal gives toughness and endurance regen, because I was addressing “Ether renewal is our most healing over a prolonged battle it simply gives the most sustained healing however it comes at the expense of burst heal.”, not “Ether Renewal is our best utility heal …….. bla bla bla”

@Pikafan: You forgot that you need to invest trait points to get GoEH to 20 seconds cooldown. Without traits it has 25 seconds cooldown giving it less HPS.

Uh, you would use GoEH without the easy-to-get 10 point air trait? And no, I didn’t forget, it’s a given that people are expected to trait appropriately for the maximum efficiency.

Spending 10 trait points just to get an extra 30hp/s out of one heal skill vs another doesn’t sound like traiting appropriately for maximum efficiency at all.

Not when most sPvP eles worth a kitten spec for Glyph of Elementals as their elite.

It’s not a given when discussion skills. Don’t try to weasel yourself out of this. You tried to insult the OP by saying he doesn’t even know game basics when you yourself made such an error.

It’s not an “easy-to-get 10 point trait” when you have for example 30 in arcane and water. Then you probably want another trait.

30 Arcane, 30 Water, 10 Air. Still easy to get.

I don’t need to weasel out of anything, nor did I make any error, because nobody in the right mind uses GoEH without the 10 point trait. Hence, it was only right to assume that in the calculations, since it’s so easy to get, and so indispensable when using glyphs.

Nice job stacking the odds in favour of one skill.

You’re not always going to use it in Water attunement.

You should. If you going for SUSTAINED healing, which is the argument here, in case you are too full of yourself to see(read what I quoted), you should always use it in Water Attunement.

You’re not always going to have it traited with quick glyphs.

10 points in air, which is what many eles will get at the very least, and is one of the best, if not THE best, trait options amongst the tier 1 air traits.

That a flat heal is going to be better than a smaller heal plus huge condition removal is debateable based on context.

Which part of my post are you addressing now? An invisible one?

Additionally, from a PvP perspective, learn to LoS while you’re healing,

Hence I assumed the user was stunned for 4 seconds. If you had basic inferential skills, I wouldn’t mention the 4 second stun if I didn’t think it was easy to get the entire cast off.

and learn that Ele is (at the minute anyway) a sustained dps class, so losing 4s of damage isn’t really that big a deal. You’re waiting on cooldowns some of that time, and the whole point is that you wear your opponent down over a long period of time, until, after a couple of burst rotations, he suddenly doesn’t have the skill that will save him available when he needs it.

Losing 4 seconds of damage hurts a sustained dps class moreso than a burst dps class. Too bad you obviously can’t get that bit right.

Imagine a class that does 100 damage per second over a period of 10 seconds, and a class that does 500 damage per second for 2 seconds over a period of 10 seconds, which would a 4 second stun hurt more. Naturally, the former.

The condition removal alone makes Ether Renewal the best (PvP) skill we have.

Refer to the first part of my reply. Then refer back to exactly what I quoted and was addressing in my previous reply. Finally, tell me which exact part of my post you are trying to address. And no, a non-existent one doesn’t count.

Hint: I never said anything about condition removals.

I laughed really hard when I saw the part where “Ether renewal is our most healing over a prolonged battle it simply gives the most sustained healing however it comes at the expense of burst heal.”

Sorry, have you EVER done the calculations on Glyph of Elemental Harmony over Ether Renewal?

At 0 healing power and lvl 80,

GoEH has 6194 healing over 21.25 seconds
Ether Renewal has 5016 healing over 19 seconds

That’s 291.48 hps for the former, and 264 hps for the latter. Not to mention, you are “stunned” for 4 seconds instead of 1.25 seconds for the former.

Seems presumptuous you would write a guide without having a firm understanding of the basic math of skills.

This thread is the reason why any sort of complaining, even the legitimate ones, get flamed down blindly.

People are so tired of seeing frivolous complaints such as this that it carries down to complaints in general.

Really, please get a grip, completing storyline was always meant to give players a decent starter set of armor before they go out to grind for their exotics.

And rare quality weapons is a great way to go about it.

Giving people exotic weapons outright defeats the entire purpose of making players craft/buy Pearl weapons.

Learn a bit of game design before you intend to criticize, lest you make yourself look ignorant.

Hey, everyone. As mentioned earlier in this thread, the team has taken on board your feedback and concerns.

We’d recommend not throwing away or selling the items you’ve been receiving in the Black Lion Chests, as we’ll be providing ways in which those items can be used to obtain Halloween-related items…

We’ll have further updates when they become available.

Thank you again for all your feedback.:)

So many people forgetting that the very source of the skins come from the BLC themselves.

With sports cars, you can buy them directly from manufacture. Fact remains that the skins only come from one source in the end – BLCs and their gambling mechanism. The ones you see in TP didn’t magically appear from a wormhole, oh no, they came from the people who spent hard-earned money to open BLCs.

Also the very people you are lambasting. Also the people you are leeching from. So when they start to dwindle in number, who suffers? Everyone does. Let’s all spread the misery.

To the posters insulting people who bought keys and expected an item:

We aren’t talking about the US economy or housing market. We’re talking about a stupid video game where people want to run around with a pumpkin rifle. Based on colorful advertising and good faith, a lot of people paid some money with the understanding that doing so would give them a “chance” at those items.

That “chance” is being proven to be aggressively small. Different people came into this with different expectations, but I do think its safe to say that the cost of keys, coupled with the tiny percent chance of a skin, equates to a more cynical policy than fans of Anet anticipated.

Fair enough. Lesson learned. Personal responsibility also means licking your wounds and moving on. Those that feel they got misled, will be less likely to give Anet cash like that on impulse.

In my opinion, that’s bad business for Anet, and less fun for the players who weren’t so lucky. It didn’t have to be that way, and I don’t think there is ANY harm in lambasting Anet for this mess. They can, and should do better by their players.

The chance isn’t aggressively small if most of the items can currently be bought for less than 10 gold, especially given how everyone seems to want these items and thus the demand is inflated.

Only 1 Item, the greatsword, costs significantly more than that (55 gold). People wanted a chainsaw greatsword. That want overcame their restraint, and many of them spent with their credit cards to buy keys. That’s a lack of responsibility.

Every single other weapon costs about as much as a decent skinned exotic in terms of gold. Every. Single. One.

Its a classic case of demand outpacing supply, in this case for one particular item. This led to many making bad decisions. We can pity them, but it is no one elses fault but their own.

In the meantime, the scythe staff skin is currently going for 40g, I am sure those “10g” and below items were skins people don’t want, or simply don’t exist. But thank you for skewing one small fact to try and suit your flawed portrayal of a larger picture.

Current Prices (1:39 am October 23):
The Chain sword (one handed) is 8 gold (and falling). No one wants a chainsaw sword. Nope. No one.
The Rifle is 5 gold.
The Shield is 20 gold.
The dagger is 8 gold. No dagger thiefs out there, mhmmm.
All 9 of the shoulder pads (3 of light, medium, and heavy) are all worth 5-10 gold. No one wants spikey skull shoulder pads. Nope, no one.

Yup, I REALLY skewed it. Those drops must be SO rare, to be worth less than typical “cool skinned” exotics.

Reality is this: The greatsword is used by Guardians, Mesmers, Warriors, and Rangers. 3 Of those classes have very popular greatsword builds.

Staves are also used by Necros,Guardians, Mesmers, and Elementalist. Again, higher demand.

Basic supply and demand. The drops are fine, judging by market prices of say…the one handed chainsaw. Demand is skewed toward the items used by most classes. Common sense.

Oh look, there goes the price of greatswords hitting 60g.

You nailed the issue on the head btw, thank you for supporting our argument – the supply is pathetically low.

The greatsaw did not spike to 60 at any time during the past 15 minutes. I’ve been monitoring it. It went 55—>56—>54—>55. It is currently 55. Nice exaggeration on your part though, please continue.

Not for the 15 minutes you were looking at. Look at the listing prices of the Greatsword.

But 55 gold, my, that is a bigggggggggggggggg difference /sarcasm.

Once again, thank you for supporting our argument that the halloween weapon skins are ill-conceived.

2 Lowest greatsaws are at 52 gold and 41 gold atm. Keep talking mister sarcasm.

source: http://imgur.com/NfpDa

So there was 1 person who undercut everyone else by 10 gold. I should thank that person, not Anet.

Once again, thank you for supporting our argument, that the players have to band together to play the system.

Oh wait, its the same players who have to purchase off the Gem Store first. Sorry but no dice. Anet still wins woooo /fanboyism

I can’t say it’s wrong; it’s a business afterall and whatever gets the money is automatically right, but still, this is just quite depressing and desperate an act on the part of Anet.

Are Runes useless compared to Orbs/Crests?

You can only obtain duration bonuses from runes and sigils, of which benefit condition/support builds far better than Orbs or Crests.

For pow/prec based damage, there might be a point to using Orbs or Crests, but it’s not like you can apply Orbs to armor, so there goes a huge chunk of % crit damage.

Evie, you’re absolutely right. Being able to revive 3 dead players and immediately turn a fight around was pretty overpowered (hilarious, but definitely OP). But they nerfed it too hard. It’s now a 5 second channel to do something most other classes can do in two. Also assuming you don’t get interrupted. It went from pretty kitten useful to completely useless in all but the most specific of circumstances.

Here’s the hint: you can move while casting the glyph. That makes it a lot better than spending that same 4.5seconds stunning yourself trying to res someone. Also, it is an non-elite skill. Not that elites are fantastic for eles, but point still stands.

Melee vs Ranged vs Weapon Sets

OK, let’s look at my ranger.

Here’s the consequences for SB & LB

SB – 4 situational control attacks with lower damage than #1 and an auto attack, low dps.
LB – auto attack has lower damage at close range, 2 situational control abilities with lower damage than #1 and 2 channels – single target & AoE.

Melee options on the other hand would give a much greater variety, which is why I use 1 ranged and 1 melee.

One thing which could be considered is interrupts vs ranged channels. However as soon as you go down that road you risk the opposite – ranged players standing no chance as soon as a melee character uses a gap closer.

:edit:

To confirm, #2 SB skill is actually better damage than #1 if no condition removal and point blank range (spread of arrows – all need to hit to do good damage)

Hint: Shortbow has the highest dps across all ranger weapons. Low dps? You must be playing a different game than all of us.

Consequences? There are no consequences using a shortbow over a melee weapon for rangers. Except maybe for skill 2, but you can simply go into melee for a second or two, the Quick Shot to reposition instantly.

60 bucks is worth how much fun I have gotten from the game, but I can’t say I am not disappointed, this game could be so much more than just slightly better than a single player game with multiplayer elements.

The earth attunement res is still extremely clutch in dungeons. Otherwise, you really don’t want to use it anywhere else.

At the very least, I can res 3 people while kiting around instead of stunning myself manually ressing people.

Unless it is paired with Soothing Disruption, Lightning Flash is basically an extra dodge and is not nearly as useful as either Mist Form or Armor of Earth.

Agreed with Mist Form, disagreed with Armor of Earth. Lightning Flash is on a way shorter cooldown(half the cooldown, actually) than Armor of Earth, an extra dodge is better than just a short duration stability and protection.

burning retreat

… Really?

Yes really, Burning Retreat grants invincibility like dodge roll does. Rolls you back slightly further, too.

and signet of restoration

REALLY? The Glyph is far superior for reactive healing. The Signet of Restoration, ironically, doesn’t really give you that much support unless you have a great deal of +healing (or are in a DE where you rarely get hit). In all other situations, Glyph is superior.

You would be better off if you argued that the staff has a larger cast time on pretty much every skill compared to daggers, hence the slow activation of skills would have prevented the full utilization of the signet. The signet is actually a lot better for a mobile daggers build over the glyph.

The thing you seem to be missing is that when you’re dying all of the time and going into downed state, you’re not dealing DPS. On top of that, someone has to stop THEIR DPS to get you off of the ground.

I run an almost full damage set and traits (with some survival stats like vit) and switch attunements in dungeons all the time. In outdoors PvE, I hardly switch; I, like you, sit in Fire and DPS mobs down. But in dungeons, where not only do I need to survive, but so do my group members, I switch attunements frequently.

Uh, you do realize that a dungeon group doesn’t generally need more than one support? Who really wants to have 2 or more support eles in a group focusing on healing rather than burning the mobs down before they overrun the group?

First of all, even with 0 healing (why are you running Signet again?), Healing Rain is nothing to be trifled with.

Agreed.

Also, if you used combos effectively, you can start in Earth, use Eruption (which should deal appreciable damage with your gear and traits), quickly switch to Water and chain Geyser + Healing Rain together. Not only will you get healing from Rain and Geyser, but Eruption is a Blast finisher and also perform a very nice AoE heal for your group. Even with 0 healing, you’re looking at 60% health restoration AT LEAST for your GROUP that you just did (and don’t forget that HR removes conditions).

Waste of time, refer to the part where there are sufficient support elements in the group as it is. He would have been better off focusing on burning down targets rather than attempting to heal. Leave that to the lvl 50 ele to heal and provide support, and not overlap roles.

I also don’t see how you would never think to switch out of Fire to snare mobs, because Burning Retreat does not cut it in dungeons. If you are dying a great deal then you aren’t being an asset to your group.

Why does he? A single support staff ele is more than sufficient to keep mobs controlled. Burning Retreat is better than a dodge roll, and dodge rolls are more than sufficient to survive encounters where there are enough support elements, once again, refer to that part.

Don’t be mad at the OP for being frustrating that someone was playing poorly and said person decided to call HIM the noob.

Why shouldn’t he be? He is more than entitled to be mad at the OP who played his role poorly, came to the forums seeking to lambaste someone who didn’t help cover his inadequacies and lack of skill.

I can walk into a dungeon on my staff ele and singlehandedly control and debuff every mob appropriately by myself without the help of another player, leaving the rest of my group to focus on burning said mobs down.

If anything, the OP is the one who needs to be lambasted for being unskilled. The lvl 74 ele is right to admonish the OP for trying to teach him something the OP himself is terrible at.

Ranger SB Nerf: Not 40 milliseconds

in Ranger

Pikafan.3792

Very much this.

Each bleed stack is its own effect, and does the same damage independent of any other bleed stacks on the target. Attacking 7.7% slower means we do the same damage (direct damage hits as well as condition applications), only 7.7% slower.

When someone says, “I used to be able to get to 8 stacks, but now I can only get to 7; therefore it’s a 12.5% nerf!” what they’re effectively doing is artificially rounding to the nearest 1/8th.

The complaints about quickness may be a legitimate grievance, but I have no pre-patch quickness testing results to offer toward that discussion.

To add on to this, and to my previous comment, the best way to look at the situation is to look at how much Crossfire does per cast in total. Not looking at the stacks you can put out before and after the nerf.

Before:

Crossfire does an average of 350 damage per cast for its physical damage component, then 100 damage per second for 4 seconds, and the interval between each cast is 500 milliseconds.

Over a 10 second period, I can do approximately 20 attacks. That’s 20 stacks of bleeding. Not maintained, but applied separately.

After:

Crossfire does an average of 350 damage per cast for its physical damage component, then 100 damage per second for 4 seconds, and the interval between each cast is 540 milliseconds.

Over a 10 second period, I can do approximately 18.5 attacks. That’s ~18.5 stacks of bleeding. Again, not maintained, but applied separately.

In total, it’s still only a 7.7% loss over a large sample size. Not more, not less.

@Mandar.9813

Precision/Toughness/Condition Damage is way better than Power/Vit/Condition Damage, for the reason crits all have a chance to apply bleeding, and even moreso if you have a Superior Sigil of Earth on your weapon. You essentially apply 1 stack of bleeding on every crit between the 10 point trait and the sigil.

The effect of 7% less attacks has a larger impact than 7% less damage, considering you cannot keep up the amount of stacks you could earlier and the loss of a stack (say 9 to 8 ) is more than a 7% damage decrease for condition builds.

I agree that the shortbow nerf was unwarranted, but this here is terrible logic at play.

The effect of 7% less attacks results in 7% less bleeds.

The amount of stacks you keep up has no bearing on any calculation, the moment you apply the bleed, the damage is guaranteed so as long as your foe doesn’t cleanse it off or you didn’t hit the damage cap.

The loss of a stack is inconsequential, so to speak.

Guardian here as well. I’d suggest you go with GS “2” – whirlwind @ cursed shore while moving yourself towards the mob’s direction since the Risen seem to be a bunch of Olympics gold medal level runners they run pretty fast. For me better option to go AoE with attacks is Torch “5” which does a decent burning damage and you get to tag from a range.

Staff is better for event farming since it’s spammable and only requires 2 hits to tag the mob for drops and exp.

Equip a staff and tag as many mobs in events on Cursed Shore, or go Greatsword and farm trolls/skelks for bloods.

This Greatsword idea.
Is this still within the cursed shore area?

Naturally not, it’s one of the most famous farming spots in Frostgorge Sound.

It has nothing to do with the fact it is contested or not – there must be an event to retake it or it will remain contested.

“Soloing the risen” does nothing if it isn’t done within the confines of the retaking event itself.

Monk/Ritualist/Healer/Healing Options

in Suggestions

Posted by: Pikafan.3792

Pikafan.3792

I see a lot of people asking for a monk, or ritualist with healing options.

Wasn’t GW2’s strenght that the holy trinity was gone?

What does it mean that people are asking for a healer-type profession?

Options:

1 These people don’t know about the fact that GW2’s strenght was to get rid of the holy trinity and are looking for a dedicated healing profession. While there isn’t one and the creators didn’t intend to make such a profession.
- This will mean that a part of the community still has to know that there won’t be such a profession and they simply will have to learn and deal with it.

2 People die too fast.
This could mean that
A People don’t play together enough. This does mean and indicate that when you play with a few people or party you have enough healing/protection (what you want to call it) to keep you on your feet. When solo-ing it’s hard to do enough damage and still keep enough survivability…?
Ab Why don’t people play together so much and solo a lot?
B It is hard to spec your character in such a way to do enough damage but also keep your survivability high enough.
C Anet intended to make all professions in such a way that when playing together, everyone could fullfill the role of tank, dps or healer. Since people are asking for a monk/healer, Anet’s intentions are not working?

3 People actually miss the dedicated healing profession because it was fun to play. Which may result to the conclusion that the holy trinity wasn’t a weakness at all…?

What do you think?

You are just making all of this up, nobody in-game seriously asks for a monk or ritualist for clearing content. You just want an excuse, and a very poor one at that, to try and start yet another thread on the trinity.

Try harder, 1/10

[BUG] The Battle of Fort Trinity

in Personal Story

Posted by: Pikafan.3792

Pikafan.3792

I am not sure if this bug has been fixed already, but for the “Defend the docks” part sometimes an undead spawns inside the ground.

And how do I know this(since you cannot see hostile NPC names holding the ctrl button down if you do not have line-of-sight)?

By exploiting another bug which allows you to temporarily see through walls when you resurface from underwater.

Pretty ironic that it has to take a bug to discover another, else players get the runaround by developers because apparently they must have done something wrongly rather than there is a bug in the coding. No no developers are infallible and players are the idiots, amirite?

Same thing with the dungeons diminishing returns bug, for half a day the developing team gave us players the runaround saying it’s working as intended, until a gigantic sample size showed otherwise.

Kindly not dismiss possibly valid concerns(which are more than likely to be valid reasons) lightly.

In any other case, I sent in a ticket with a screenshot detailing the Putrifier under the ramp, which I “fixed” by placing an AoE directly above the ground it was under. Lo and behold, yet again I used a bug to circumvent another.

P.S. Allowing players to see NPC names through walls, at least temporarily, would go a LONG way to help with the “NPC stuck underground/inside walls” issues, which I am sure accounts for a huge proportion of all stalled progression bugs.
