I do agree for the most part. Theoretically, you take a bit of everything and create a hybrid as well, but I digress because I use a Berserker’s item in every slot.

I love Gw2 combat. I would quit the game if I had to play old school mmo mechanics again.

I played Gw1 for one day exactly. I couldn’t handle the instanced “rooms” or the stagnant combat.

Gw2 is my favorite MMO to date with Warhammer online close behind it.

Warhammer online just died but Anet should take a page out of their book in order to achieve the godly status.

Guild Wars 2 has guilds but no actual guild wars. It’s weird because this game has so much potential. Can ArenaNet perform in the next 12 months? I would buy an expansion without hesitation.

GW made sense because everything was instances but GW2 is really kitten ing me off. Sure, one can argue that GW movement was limited; we’ve come a long way, etc. but this game just feels like a step backwards and that’s after being reminded that it’s essentially a new group of developers.

eg. I’m in Straits of Devastation and I literally can’t find 1 person to help move the group events/events along. Additionally, trying lfg system everytime and not a single person joins or wants to group up. That being said, I’m also in a guild with 300+ people and everyone is doing something different.

Another problem I have is with achievements. Achievements and titles, which is what I loved most about GW, are extremely monotonous and non-rewarding.

Why the kittens is this open world when it feels like I’m in an instance every single time?

Why in gods name would they separate open world pvp and open world pve when it’s what people crave; being part of a community; being part of a group; having a common goal? I think that possibly many players were buying GW2 because it was going to be a better open world than WOW but walked into a grindy, solo-fest.

I’ve only been playing a few months time and sure, GW2 got a few things done that can revolutionize mmorpgs, but now the next mmorpg to capitalize will generate extremely ridiculous amounts of players.

Warhammer online (even though I believe it died) was actually pretty awesome. I’d love to see a few ideas from there be combined with the dynamic events and combat system we have here.

I honestly thought that it was the recipes you throw into the forge. Already having Recipe: Endless Princess Doll Tonic, Recipe: Endless Toy Golem Tonic and Recipe: Endless Toy Soldier Tonic, I was a little dissapointed when I pulled up the Forge.

Would you suggest learning the recipes or perhaps selling them when they go up in price?

Let’s say you have no trading agent nearby and you need food. I want to give food to my party on the spot. However, the existence of trading post and mailing makes trading obsolete in this game. Not to mention the fact that everything worth is bound.

One of the things I really like in GW2 is the way we can move around. In many mmos you can just walk around by clicking, you can’t jump, you can’t roll, you can’t climb, the only thing you can do is walk on flat surfaces.

Gw2 offers a lot more freedom in that regard, I don’t want that taken away. Also dodging is an important part of the combat system I don’t want to loose.

The game would become so stale and it’s come way too far to be pushed back into Guild Wars mechanics.

This is one of the brighter things I’ve read here. As aformentioned, this would be extremely crucial in keeping the player base from perhaps going to another game. What I mean is, fill up the server AND give players the option to see if their server is dying/underpopulated.

Hi, I’m an elementalist from Maguuma and I’ve played for a few months now. Here are some vague suggestions.

> Improved group finding mechanics to give more incentive to get players into groups in Pve maps. The current LFG system is missing a few touch-ups and I find myself soloing explorable zones much too often.

> Capital cities don’t get enough action. Give incentives to have populations of players on all maps even though I point out cities here.

> Trade/inspect/duel any other players in any location.

> Send screenshots via mail option and view via mail as well.

> An acquirable miniature slot and auto-summon toggle.

> Home instance is not used enough, throw some incentives in there, perhaps make it customizable.

+New Ideas 12/30/13

> Retraiting: Pay to create a preset build option which stay as an option when you ask to retrait

> Weapon sets key bindings. Eg. Elementalist needs this.

> Asuran Racial traits increased uptime. 40s is way too short. The cooldown is way too long. Mistfire wolf needs like kitten uptime at least and less than 2 minutes cooldown.

> AI on mobs must be reworked asap.

Capital cities are key and are really not used the way I thought they would be when I started playing a few months ago.

My only real issue is that races are much too friendly with each other…

Use a small one
I use 3 20 slots bags, 2 15 slots bag and 1 15 slots invisible bag, I make my inv window 15 slots wide so only the last line of items are in the invisible bag, I put minis and 2nd weapon/armor so that way they don’t appear in the selling tab in NPCs.

What I would like is an exclusive slot for mini that will auto summon it when changing maps.

Auto summon and mini slot (which would be acquirable and togglable) seems like a great idea.

Hello players! Now, I received 4 mad king finishers and was left with 8/20 stomps on the achievement tracker. How would I proceed in acquiring more finishers and how many kills is a finisher worth?
