“The hour is later than you think” – I think that’s a hint that the patch will not be early in the morning.

I think that’s something to do with like… waiting until the darkest hour or whatever. I think that’s basically just reference that, we’ve run out of time (according to this chick) and we’re all going to be waiting for impending doom.

I’ve had this issue too.
I also use a Razer (Naga) but I think mine may be attributed to the graphics tablet I lean on while I play. I run a Wacom Intuos V Touch so I think that may be MY issue, but not sure about yours.

Buy a 375 Insignia from the Weaponsmith trainer.

If it doesn’t get you to 400, craft the parts for a weapon and discover it.

So, I don’t know about anyone else, but I personally find Skyhammer to be … for lack of a better word; Terrible.

I feel that Skyhammer doesn’t have a place in tournament, and as such, shouldn’t be listed on the roster. It’s also a bit of a cop out that those who cannot find a sound sPvP guild/group (And lets admit, they aren’t exactly pouring out of the woodwork), that they must be subject to maps such as Skyhammer.

The differences in maps between Solo and Group makes one think that the best way to enjoy a tournament (At least I think so) is to try and find random PuGs. And even then, you’re still with a PuG, just a PuG prior to entering the tournament. If you do happen to Solo queue and get a terrible map, it’s still rude to leave as that spot isn’t filled and if a team member leaves, your team is basically screwed and destined for a loss – Which means sitting through it painfully, not wanting to be there but doing it just because you don’t want to be ‘that guy’.

On a side note: Please update the monthly and daily rewards of sPvP. Glory Boosters every day just makes it lackluster. I have so many of them – Not to mention I am getting them out of my Black Lion chests. Really? I have 30 something in my bank – I don’t want to open a chest with a key that is a rare occurance, and get a Glory Booster. If I really wanted one, I would just PvP.

All in all, sPvP while it IS fun when you get the good maps in tournaments, etc – Is still really far behind in terms of content and rewards. The payoff is starting to really not become worth the effort.

Maybe it’s just me – Maybe it’s not. (It’s also 3AM here, so if I don’t make sense, that’s probably why. Overworked and not rested)

Easy: Send your mats via mail to the person you want to craft it.
We don’t need a trade option, and you can commission by providing your own mats.

As for crafting: Levelled Hunstman today. Wasted a tonne of gold just trying to level it. It’s definately one of the most expensive. In my experience I have found cheffing and Jeweler to be the fastest/cheapest, with Cheffing costing just over 2g to level to 400 and never having to leave LA!

Correct. Levels are practically given to you – So why should you get a booster to give you +20 levels? Levelling in this game isn’t difficult at all. I’ve levelled from playing a few hours a day, from 1-80 in a week without crafting. I levelled my theif in 3 days through the Pavillion. It’s not hard, and to be honest, the world is better than a lot of worlds that I have played in – Why would you wanna miss all that? Okay, so you’ve done it before, doesn’t mean you should just be handed 1/4 of your characters final progress.

I can’t connect at all during my night time.
If I -can- get in, it boots me when I try to connect in to a character.

If you put in a support token, they’ll ask you to run diagnostics and other crap because it has to be an issue on your side -.-

I run on Jade Quarry and there are typically people in the pavillion or running through Orr/Frosgorge Sound just doing champ trains.

I would really recommend it if you wanted to WvW as well, but while we’re still active there, majority of players are farming.
I came to Jade Quarry around a month after starting, from Maguuma. I love the server

Warrior: 18-25k crits off a greatsword. Yes please. Knockbacks and Bolas just to get people really riled up in sPVP Tournaments :P

Guardian: Keeping my entire team alive in a dungeon while they all went a sheilded themselves with their faces.

Engi: Only level 4 Hoping to to level it when I can get on

Theif: Only 54 but still plugging along. Loving the movement speed increase and just bouncing around.

Necro: Level 1 Baron Von Vaaderham! Yeah… wanna level him, but when I can get on.

I love my warrior though. She was my first and only toon for a while. Levelled a guardian purely to help my team through dungeon crawls Fun times.

You can transmute it to a white item to make it account bound then give it to another character who uses sword more. Not sure if they fixed it, I really hope not.

If you haven’t transmuted it yet, please hold off. Once they make legendary gear have flexible stats you may be happy you didn’t.

The guy doesn’t use a sword at all, so I don’t really think that the stat changes are going to matter much – Only way it would be of use is if they learned to use it as a main weapon or secondary weapon and put it in the rotation.

That’s kind of a silly desicion isn’t it? All that time and effort, to craft something you don’t even use.

As for the idea of selling to a vendor for half the price on the TP – No. All you’d have to do is wait until there isn’t one, find someone with the same weapon, put it up for a ridiculous amount and just get free gold.

Dang, i’m in NZ and i’m on Jade Quarry :P But it took me like 2 weeks to get in, and staying up really late trying rofl.

Doubt I would benefit from this.

I’m a GS/Rifle Signet build War, and I have 1 int – Which is my number 5 skill on a rifle. While I do use that often, I need to be within melee range to use that skill – Which is what I am trying to avoid, by using a rifle.

I think this might be a bit of an over-reaction, since it seems you need to actually focus on the interrupt to make this even worthwhile and that could hurt a lot of classes in PvP.

EDIT Besides, as a warrior, I wouldn’t give up my current runes/sigils to boost my damage and other stats I am pushing, for confusion. It’s not worth it at all.

Same issues – Been using the same computer, from the same house and the same ISP.

So, I was playing Guild Wars 2 all of last night up until around 14ish hours ago – I attempted to log back in and had to download another little patchy type thing, and now my client can’t find the log in server at all. I did manage to get in, then it crashed at character selection screen. Got in about an hour later, crashed after 5 minutes – Won’t let me back in again.

Before anyone asks, i’ve already had info before about deleting files, cookies, etc, etc. I’ve done it all. X.X

Yeah. The end was really anti-climatic. I hope they fix it cause I have a few more characters whose personal stories I haven’t even bothered continuing with because I just can’t be bothered with the last fight again :P I feel like I have more important things to do rofl.

I admit the build up is stale and boring, but the climax of the whole story, and the whole POINT Of being there (To kill Zhaitan) was even worse -.-

I was so excited when I got to that point, only to say ‘This is the most boring ending’ – And that was at the start of the fight. x.x

To be honest, I really think it depends on the player and how well you know your toon, your gear, and your combos.

Necros, Rangers and Engis that I have come across, for the most part, are pretty easily taken down. Some eles (dagger dagger builds especially) give me a bit of a hard time. Support/tanky guardians or warriors obviously give a bit of grievance, and mesmers are just tedious with all their clones. Theives and their invis annoy too.

I’m a GS/Rifle Sigil build warrior, and for the most part I think I do alright. I will admit, I have hard times against people who know their toons like the back of their hands – But that’s really what I think it comes down to. Knowing what you’re up against, and how to combat it.

When you’re putting in the time to sit in the Solo Queues, you should get something out of it. Even if you lose. Hell, I would appreciate something so people stay and don’t rage quit. I’ve been in tournaments where people rage-quit cause they’re getting farmed and don’t like it – Instantly drops a team to 4 or 3 members – No point in trying cause you won’t win. It’s infuriating at best, after waiting 15 odd minutes in a queue, just to have people who don’t know what they’re doing leave and ruin any chances for the rest of the team.

The rewards are pretty bad too. And the daily. Ugh. Not even worth it.

Skyhammer in Solo Queue Tournaments shouldn’t even be an option – That map is beyond stupid and it’s fairly easy to be knocked over the edge constantly. Hell, I don’t even play skyhammer in normal sPvP events. I’ll leave (Tried setting up a filter, doesn’t even work) and re-queue.

As for getting gold from dyes, the percentage of actually getting a high worth dye is minimal at best, and it’s not even worth the effort of trying.

I love the sPvP but it’s really going downhill, and it’s just getting there faster.

Have yet to do the Keg one. I think I got the intercepts, as a random wanted it so we stood and passed the keg back and forth It’s fairly easy if you play with like-minded people

So, i’ve noticed if you do the new events, you get the rewards (Karma Boxes etc) over and over again? Instead of once off like the other new content?

Any idea if this was actually intentional? I’ve seen farming groups coming out and zoning straight back in, etc.

Wait, how is it better? GW2 would cost 25 dollars to transfer to high pop. Also 32g isn’t easy for most people to get especially with DR’s keeping your grind session to about 35 minutes.

This transfers ALL of your toons Besides, you’ve had plenty of time to realm change – Everyone knew that they were going to start charging gems to change. If you didn’t change beforehand with plenty of warning about this, why whinge when it actually gets implimented. If you weren’t on the realm you wanted to be on, knowing that they were going to do this, that’s your bad lol.

I don’t know why they use dodging as a daily task. It’s just a technic to use in a fight like fire magic. Why should it matter how we kill the enemy.

Instead how about a daily like “Kill 5 Veterans”

None of them give credit That is:
WvW vets – No credit
DE Vets (Like Opening CoF Gates/Surrounding events) – No credit
Random vets around the world like grubs in Bloodtide Coats – No credit.

If/when you get this daily, please tell me what vets actually COUNT, cause i’m having to wait for reset to even complete my first one ><

I play WvW, sPvP and PvE. I personally prefer WvW or sPvP but PvE is still fun. But I also wonder, sPvP is nowhere near as diverse as PvE – So why should you get a laurel for doing like 5% of the work? You can complete the entire daily in 3 matches of sPvP which in reality, don’t usually last that long. I dunno – I like that the rewards are seperated

The veteran daily doesn’t work.

I have it on my current daily and: WvW vets don’t give credit – DE Vets don’t give credit – Random vets floating around the world don’t give credit. Already submitted a bug report AND asking for help on the forums, but nobody seems to know what to do :/

Unfortunately though I can’t find any vets that count towards MY daily, so I have to wait till reset to get a new one ><

Just doing some sPvP, and while I always love when it’s a 1v2 unfair team set-up, what I loved even more was being randomly teleported around my maps, and classes that can randomly disappear/go invis (That aren’t theifs, before anyone suggests otherwise)

Has anyone else had this issue? :/ I wouldn’t move, but i’d end up 5 feet in another direction for no reason.
I’m a signet war, so I can’t actually teleport anywhere.

After deciphering this, I have to ask… have you played WoW arena system? For over 12 months that crap has been so freaking unbalanced and unfair. They have a matchmaking system, that won’t even match you properly. Unfortunately they also have tier levels of PvP gear which doesn’t make it even playing field at all until you get to 2k+ rating, that is of course, if you can even make it that far. If they’re going to base PvP off ANY game, I strongly suggest not using WoW.

Though, if anything, people need to be patient and not so demanding. It will happen when it happens, and getting on the dev’s cases won’t push the fact through any faster. They’re probably doing the best they can, and if you can’t be patient then perhaps gaming isn’t the hobby for you -shrugs-

So, we’re in a group of 5 – 4 of us (including myself) are level 4 fractal.

I invited a friend to help fill the last spot. But he’s only level 1.

We went to zone in, and the highest level fractal we can do is 1.
I thought they were supposed to have ‘fixed’ it.

All of us tried to zone in at our appropriate level but apparently they haven’t fixed jack x.x

I typically get keys when I complete maps, and then get another key in a chest.

Lionguard Lyns will more than likely not be selling BLTC chest keys anymore.
I think sales for keys (from the gem store) have dropped and so they’re going to be the only option again.

Please note:

Chefs can make Dyes that are able to be (Rare) that is, you have a chance of getting either a blue, green OR gold dye and you can choose the hue range you’d like (Purple, Red, Green, Blue, Grey, Yellow, Orange) – If you’re having a hard time, find a chef, get the mats and get them to make the dye in it’s Unidentified Version and send it back to you. I offer this service to people when they ask.

So it doesn’t really need a drop rate upgrade.

Sometimes if you start talking in map chat and asking if people are in the same map, you can spark up a decent conversation.

Or you can go to sPvP – I had a chat with a person over 3 maps there yesterday, while he was going on about how bad I am and that I was hacking cause he kept dying… :/

I couldn’t understand that, but if you’re suggesting you want 10-25 man raids, you may have to go to another MMORPG like WoW.

The game has no agro tables, no set roles etc. Raiding will be VERY difficult to do, since the mechanics for raids are typically a lot harder, and teams need to be more co-ordinated and able to play their classes properly.

If we had agro tables, tanks and heals as set roles then maybe :P But I can’t see this going down well if it was implemented.

I haven’t had an issue with Rush and I keep it on CD with my whirlwind thingger, which I use in dungeons, WvW and sPvP

The game doesn’t support mounts when we have speed buffs and waypointing.

LFG – Will just make it harder to find groups, especially if people are queueing up for only a few of the more popular dungeons OR it’s level specific.

Running MF on gear isn’t an issue if said person knows how to play their class
A member of my dungeon group runs full MF group and he doesn’t go down, plus still puts out enough DPS to hold his own
