you get 100 for 1 season playing all reward chest once
so if they do a new item cost 50 or 100 of those tickets
you would need to play at least 3-6 full season to get the armor
i can see the timegate for pvp legy armor beeing there
if they chose this timegate fine but that would be 1year+ of pvp seasons o.O

another grind i consider is the glorious reward track
one end chest you get 1-2 mist core fragment and you need 4 for a perfect mist core
so if every armor part needs the lowest number of 1 perfect mist core
for total of 6 perfect mist core you need to finish that reward track 12 times
that would be another possibl grind there
maybe even higher if you need more

ascendet shards of glory are all rdy need for the armor accuisition but new item for those is also possibl

but thats all speculation and some items are all rdy up in price

No. These were not added to the WvW chests.
Not crying, just unbalanced reward mechanisms. The point of marks was to balance things out. The point of the vendors in Fractals/PvP/WvW was to balance acquisition.
Glad you can play in Exotic. Others like slots for infusions for Fractals/WvW.

future… its first wvwvw season they probably ad them and also rebalance the way you get pips there cause the system is strange atm if you get only on outnumered good rewards as a low lvl wvwvw player ..

A few players have noticed that new items can be obtained in the Mystic Forge since last week’s update. We added a number of new items to the possible rewards for combining rare weapons in the mystic forge, including Bloodbound weapons, Aetherized weapons, Shadow of the Mad King weapons, and some orphaned skins from Living World season 1.

This was a part of a bigger update to the mystic forge which wasn’t quite ready for this patch, so we pulled most of the changes as well as the release notes. However, since this change did go into the build, I wanted to let everyone know about it.

but how should i decide about how high i go with the price tag
so i chose to go the mid way and not be to greedy
under the invisbil shoes but higher than the most iteams
3hs later it sold indead
now with the first ever on the trading post
(nr 2 world wide forged)
peopl get finally motivated to search for it but also
the pure greedy peopl to make a profit
those on reddit for exampl joking around and wonder why i not put it higher
compared to the invisibl shoes
joking around about the person who maybe not have enough money to list it higher
only for you knowlege i could but choose not to do..
and that 1k gold was more then enough and nice profit
and who ever bought it had like me a unque skin 24h hours

i had also my fun with the worlds first geting wsps and run peopl around me

i am total fine with the way to forge it

on that incident i blame them 2 times
1 making the normal continue coin drop less frequent from normal jump puzzle chests and world event boss chests to incentivise the infinite coin buy
2 “tricked” the peopl with a sooner yearly april release expectation

sure you used it even if you not farmed the skins
i expected SAB comeback also much faster and not this long waiting game

The whole “players collect them though” is BS. Older tokens you had a defined date they would be useless. It’s your fault for hoarding them (yes, I said you’re a hoarder) beyond their life of usefulness. Newer tokens are your fault for hoarding them as well. There’s things such as bags of loot they can be spent on. Got all the unique crap already? Start buying the gear/loot bags. there’s no reason at all to “hoard” them thinking they’re going to be used in the next map. Anet clearly made it obvious when SW did not use geodes.

Do you seriously think there’s no problem with karma, though? It’s rewarded near-universally, you get it for doing everything in the game, but there’s nothing to spend it on apart from legendaries (which a lot of people don’t go for anyway). And if you are making a legendary, karma is most likely the least of your worries. So we have a situation where players have 10 or 20 million karma, nothing to do with it, and it just keeps accumulating.

Oh, sure. They could mindnumbingly convert it to linen, a few thousand at a time.

It’s not a matter of hoarding, it’s a problem with the balance between supply and desirable (or accessible) sinks. BoH’s have a similar problem. And because of it, Anet actually had to make sure we had even less sinks, by preventing salvaging of karma or WvW gear.

With SW and DT and dungeon tokens, you’re probably right that there’s not much of a problem in that sense. The income isn’t too high, and there are enough sinks to satisfy anyone. The problem with those currencies, if there is one, is simply that new ones keep being added.

I’m not saying that a cap is the answer, but there are definitely problems with at least some currencies.

I disagree with the amount things to spend karma on. There are tons of skins available only that can only be gotten with karma.

8 weapon set skins, 20 different weapons = 160 skins
5 armor sets, 6 pieces per set = 30 skins
190 total skins that can only be bought with karma.
The upper Tiers cost 63,000 each piece.

For a full set of tier 3 lion guard weapons would be 1,260,000 karma.
Yeah not nearly enough uses or sinks for karma.

Also you can throw rare and exotic karma items into the forge… which of you had 10 million karma, would not be a terrible way to use it, and make some serious gold. At the very least be able to salvage rares for ecto, which can also net you a decent chunk of change.

even if we believe in our owen “good” idears

if you ask me for reward system in general my answer would be different
i prefer a karma reward push/boost for exmaple
not the amount you earn but the items you get from it
i like the karma weapons and i am kittened that there is actual no collection for this weapons

i would like to see 3 historian for tyria elona and cantha in durmand priory telling you about some documents they found
with old historian armor selling you all gw1 elite armor 500 000karma
each chest with a full skin set (each peace sepaeratet like a armor not cash shop skin)
and this armor would work slightly different
we get a new wardrobe tab with special armor inclueding those
alowing all professions to use them as usually ( first skin use free and after transmutation christals)
this way i can use maybe a plate armor with my elementalist if i whant
the only thing to do is polish old armor and reskin a little for char and asura

if you ask me for cash shop in general my answer would be
why become more and more pay to win (good dam i hate the infinite adventure box token and some other stuff)
but not use the most obvius thing DANCES
working like the finisher system
standart first one based one race and gender
and behind it free choice on buyed one same as finisher system
you can reuse all gw1 animations dances and sell them like finisher
there is no need to polish
all can have the same animation all race and gender
the one for gw1 female necro for example
call it thriller and sell it for finisher prices
i suggest that since 2 years but no idear why its still not ingame
maybe to complicated and hard to implent not sure about that

so yes again i go with 1 and 2.5 token system for areas
maybe 4 areas map completet for 1 region enough tokens for 1 weapon

but with insane extrem luck accounts out there
sometthing is wrong
and sure you not tell us what caused that outliers
because some people would rly try to abuse it

1.change acccount bound rng to character based rng => this way you can still have some bad and good characters
but the possibilty off insane luck and bad luck accounts is nearly zero

2.maybe more magic find=> Utilityinfusion rings accesorie and back piece
combined with some leather accesorie for jewel crafter maybe solve the leather supply isue as well

3.precursor chest=> the higher demanded ones get a higher supply and the lower ones raise in price and maybe balance on a better level
and maybe fractal weapon chest plz

4.gw1 collecots for junk items to get the items we whant that charge lodestone example some other told in this traad would be fine

5.yes more adventure box based rewards would be fine
or dry top amber weapons
one set for each area/region

but to answer the question question i prefer 1 mixed with 2.5 for regions
uh and don t forget to add a cinnamon star recipe for christmas
30%-40mf and 250cinnamon each cookie
to burn down the actual 4mio on trading post

i believe there is actually really something wrong/to low drop rate
i open around 250 wintersday gifts to get a light of dwayna at christmas
i open around 1000 today and not get a singel dwayna or grenth
maybe they believe this items are to cheap and set the drop rate down
and the lyssa is now "TO"low
i rly hope for a hotfix
to at least increase drop rate
