As I’m closing in on my second legendary, money isnt a problem, karma isnt a problem => I get obby shards and money from Fractals – is there a viable way to actually farm skill points, because I am running short on those and in fractals you barely get any skillpoints…

I know you could level an alt, but that’s boring
You could do dungeon speed runs but I’m wondering if there are any quicker methods ?

I was always stable around 25fps running around in LA, today I logged in and suddenly I have a huge lag with only 3fps at all times in LA.

Does anyone else have this problem? I really don’t see why this suddenly comes up without even having to patch anything

We do 1x guard 2x war 1x ele (for might stacking) 1x mesmer

We can easily get in 3 runs with 1 omnomberry bar

The OP has a point, I also keep a close watch on ectos and the past week ive seen multiple gaps as he explained, I even tried “flipping” ectos that way but as the OP stated, the gaps dont last long. And as most other people here say, that its just someone buying alot, we are not talking about 500 mere ectos, just go and check how much y ou need to buy to let the prise rise from 27s to 35s …

I agree with second poster, there is absolutely NO way you would put yourself in this precursor market without doing ANY research, the net is absolutely flooded with QQ threads about every single precursor related mystic forge crafting… GL anyway, still rude

As far as I have noticed I’ve completed arah p4 2 times… No idea why I did it a second time tho after this fight….

The middle seems to be random, ofcourse I can’t know, but it seems that if one of them doesn’’t habe a shield, all the sparks gather up in that one, no matter where you place them , which makes it very annoying to see where the remaining sparks have to go….

I do agree however that this might be a setup and there is a far easier tactic

I got the Juggernaut but not the SHINING fractal capacitator → however as I have always been against hiding armor pieces, like head, shoulders and back pieces I would advice hiding the fractal capacitator simply because wearing the Juggernaut makes your armor so kitten cool , the capacitator ruins it, it stays the same color, its ugly, and it should simply not be there when you have The Juggernaut

You have succesfully salvaged over a million things and essentially those points are… worthless → a guy with 4k achievements has, in my opinion, a higher value than the “fail” 20k ach points you have.

Favorite : Juggernaut

Reason : I recently crafted this, right after making and equipping it i was so dissapointed because it didnt have any of the cool effects like twilight and sunrise, but then i unsheathed the weapon and wow… Juggernaut is the only legendary that makes your ARMOR look legendary instead of some thing you hit monsters with :P This legendary is by far unique….

Worst: Unfortunatly most… One of my friend recently got incernator or however you write it and sadly the visual effect on most weapons are so minor I wonder if it is worth the cost

What woulkd you expect? You dye the armor so incredibly ugly, yes it sucks then if you have no taste for fashion, you compare apple with pears: an incredibly bad dyed t3 set with a nicely worked out armor set you use yourself.

You know how much of a difference a slighly better stat makes at that low level?

At level 80 for example 1 precision would be 1% chance crit
At level 3 that same 1 precision would be 5% crit

Just an example the numbers arent accurate but just for the sake of comparison

And back on topic: Vanity items will always be random, you’d be better of jsut farming money in the real time to buy the item as a whole isntead of gambling to get it

A collector as I am I wanted all of the 5 new minipets for sure – So the plan was to buy 3 pets with gems and craft 2, now only today I learned about the tonics

I wouldnt mind just outright paying for the 5 pets and crafting the 5 tonics but I already crafted one pet before I even knew about the tonics – am I pretty much screwed now that I will never be able to obtain the tonic of the pet that I already crafted…?

Or is there gonna be another way to obtain the frames? because the Cogs should be the limiting ingredient, not the frames – thanks

On Dulfy.net it says you can make the quaggan mini by combining any 3 minis + 50 “stuffing” where can you find this stuffing because I acqured 7 minis total and I’d like the quaggan

AAs many peopel asked – I announced this exactly for the reason that my hands hurted after double clicking million times – dont think im far of it- and theoretically this should crash the silver doubloon market and only balloon nuggets alittle bit

Told you it will work and I think it will be a little of both, but more on the crashing part

There just is a HUGE oversupply on those pebbles – theres a huge huge huge income and relatively low demand

now demand will rise but because of the oversupply price will be barely influenced while the silver doubloons their supply just massively multiplies

I really believe this will crash the doubloons and only balloon the nuggets a little

EDIT: The only requisite is that alot of people start doing this :P

also read other posts here about Silver Doubloons – I got 15 doubloons from 250 pebble tries and 100 nugget

I got 0 stones I can provide screenshots

AAll I say is I made 3g profit by investing 3g believe it or not try it yourself – i promise its risk free

Only when I want personal profit and all i want is non sore fingers and prices to drop so i can just buy them at low price

This post has one purpose and one purpose only: crash the prices of Silver Doubloons by spreading how they can be made ( not widely spread knowledge )

Some background info:

At release and pre-bot-ban Silver Doubloons were 2s ea – right now they are stable arund 37s ea

some people claim people are cornering the market by controlling the supply :

-> they buy out all silver doubloons and sell a limited amount
-> they buy out bags where they can be gotten from and sell a limited amount

However there is a much easier way than bags that these Doubloons can be gotten from – A market they cannot control because of the Oversupply of these items => it would simply be to expensive…

So here is how you make the money or get doubloons if you need them:

You buy Pebbles or Nuggets ( i will post my results at the end )
You go to MF
You add 4 pebbles or 4 nuggets and you click create
Now I am noewhere close to come to an accurate %-chance to get these. Sometimes I would get 3 doubloons in 20 tries and then 50 tries without a single doubloon. RNG will be RNG…

The profit here is with the Doubloons – Pebbles cost nothing, so very cheap – even one doubloon makes up for the cost of the pebbles

Aside from that you get useless mats – more pebbles – copper doubloons for pebbles and gold doubloons for nuggets

Results:

250tries with pebbles
100 tries with nuggets

Doubloons: Copper : 34
Silver: 15 (5g)
Gold: 5

The silver alone gives me 5g back – the pebbles plus nuggets only costed me ~3g so it really is a RISK FREE and EASY money making.

Again my only purpose is to crash the prices because im in dire need of these overpriced doubloons – that is my thinking and im not trying to manipulate the market in any way for personal profit

Well as you can read it didnt give me 60 tokens after reset

So yday I was in a CoF group after not doing much dungeons for a while since I’m already dungeon master – decided to help a friend out

We started at 12.05 am and started path 1, quickly realising it was a good group we rushed path 1, decided to do path 2 aswell and finished well before what I tohught was the reset timer (fractal) (1am) -> finished at 12.45 Now for the sake of testing we decided to do another Path 1 run after 1 am – We even only entered after 1am even tho I didnt think this was needed (again referiing to fractals where ppl look for daily groups at 23pm )

Now finishing this path one in about 1.15am we still only got 30marks. One of the group claimed that this would be the case while others believed there was an actual reset timer like I did (1am)

He also claimed it will only reset 24 hours after last completion?

So what is the actual reset timer on these dungeons?

TLDR: When can you get another 60mark +26s reward after completing an expl mode once?

I haven’t cried a single time about items spiking or just becoming more expensive because of the bot ban but now it’s jsut getting rediculous

Silver DOubloons have increased 25x in price?? Some people need 250 of these “low level crap items” for their legendary – Now I wouldn’t mind but they just CANT be farmed? You just cant get them?

As someone mentioned on the General Discussion forum – someoen decided to make a guild purely for Fractals – Much easier to find groups etc and once set up it could be wonderful – lvl fractal requirement should be like 10+ so that not anybody could join and the max member is imideatly full

Can be a cross server guild

Has anyone made such a guild? It could be a guild only represented when you’re doing fractals

Looking at the lowest listing only should be enough – why would you relist if you are consistently the lowest seller? undercut yourself and lose a potential 10g listing fee?

secondly, gnoring any sale listing after that works just as fine – those cannot be sold without the first one being sold so only accounting for the lowest listing is I would say 80% accurate which is all you really need over a long period of time for rare items.

Point being any other sites that provide this kind of information?

They indeed keep track of the sell offers which give accurate results for high end weapons because cancelling these results in a great amount of money

Hello I do not know if this is in the right subsection but I think it relates more to the Black Lion Trading Co. than anything else.

Last week I was using the site gw2db.com to keep track of item’s demand and supply- If I searched for an item, there was the average monthly price etc. but also a link to 2 graphs – I think I had to click “Show more” to be taken to this page…

This page had a graph showing ~how much of this item sold daily- now I wonder what happened to this?

I cannot find this graph anymore on gw2db and I wodner if it ist hte fault of my computer or there wa some kind of update that removed this?

And secondly, anyone know where I can find another site with such graphs?

After alot of reading on the forums and looking at gw2wiki about the ascended rings it said it dropped from the “daily chest” above the minimap.

I’ve only done up to fractal level 3 so I only had the chest at level 2 – now people are calling it “daily chest” – I assume because it is the same icon as when you complete daily/monthly etc. Now I wonder is this actually a DAILY chest? Can we do the fractal level 2 – 4 – 6 – 8 -10 …. etc. every day to get a different loot chest every day? Or is this a one time only chest?

I say this with all of the respect I have because GW II is so far the best game I have ever played, after 600 hours I didn’t get bored a single minute… But this?

Now Legendaries become WAY more accessible – as you read on the forums => precursor was usually the limiting factor in the creation of a legendary…

The way I interpret this post is that you’ll make it easier to acquire the precursor and thus also ease the process of making a legendary…

This is what ruined WoW imo – and every other MMORPG. The legendary was something to work for. People will cry, they will cry every single time. Be sure that after you “fix” the precursors you’ll be flamed and yelled at for other things that are too hard for most of the casual players.

Ever thought that maybe it is not 100% the Bot banning?
remember ori ores spiked last week to over 4s – now theyre under 3s again – only reason for this was agroup of players manipulating prices. Maybe now some ppl are doing the same and + the bot ban it makes it spike even a little more…

edit: notice glob entering the top traded items – it wasn’t there before (at least not as far as I can remember) – same happened with the dyes last week…

if it would be just botting ban it would even DECREASE the amount of stuff being handled… think about it…. less ectos => less possible ectos traded but in fact the #trades are rising… how would this be possible if it werent for people either buying/selling tons of ectos to the reaction of the manipulation…

I just think that the ecto prise is spiking because of some elite players, maybe even two handfulls and the price will drop soon enough… it was good for Anet to have it happened right after they banned alot of bots but my opinion is this one

Legendary, not every person can get this thinking it is easy to get. stop crying for it for once, nobodys telling you you have to do it. you should know the risks and costs before even starting to do this
