Phantasms dont use your weapons, but clones do. I dont think any clones attack with pistol though.

Is anyone having trouble with the Glob Merchant in LA not increasing achievement? I’m on 0/2 objectives after opening 3 and it still says 0 opened. I’m only doing it to get permanent merchant… not in it for the gambling.. lol

How can it be ugly if it’s barely visible? lol? Anyways I didn’t even notice the change until I read this thread. I guess I don’t really care about the visual effects

I died on the last phase I believe of Hearts and mind. (couldn’t get up in the air and died) Well the island lost a piece of the land while I re-spawned. Then I reset the fight… portal spawned where there was no land anymore… lol fun times. Had to restart mission.

Revenant does not have high tier hp, it’s in the medium with mesmer and Engi.

You have to put dragonhunter in the last slot. (bottom of the 3) It’s an elite traitline and only works in that slot.

Not so much related but I noticed Shiro Impossible Odds stance deactivates when you enter a new territory of a map. Not switching maps – but when you are exploring and a new area ia discovered it deactivates.

They may not be finished or a bug possibly. Maybe they just don’t work underwater… (Dwarf stance does not work underwater either. I would think some of Glint’s would work underwater.

I didn’t see any news on new faces.. but I feel like the expansion would have some new ones. Also, I would LOVE new beards… there’s not much of a selection at the moment :/ As a pogonophile, I find it very disappointing!

Yea I think some of these effects shouldn’t be the way they are. If slow is a debuff condition I wouldn’t think (???) it would have positive effects on the player effected by them. I used blurred frenzy while slowed and it’s amazing having an evade frame that long hahaha

Overall, I really like playing the new reaper shroud. I think the skills are fun and work well. Excellent Job there. Here are few things I have complaints about:

GS – Slow (As intended), but still weak? Where’s the reward for hitting? Where did our chill go? I see no point in taking this over Dagger.
Shouts – They aren’t good compared to many other shouts in game, and I can’t find room for any of them on my bar.
Reaper’s Onslaught trait – Is this trait working? Attack speed doesn’t seem any faster.
Death’s Charge skill- Please change to work with targets. So hard to land this in PVP. Works great as a leap though.
Deathly Chill trait- Too weak for a grand master trait
Chilling Nova trait – 1 every 15 seconds? Com’on really?

Yea im going with the heal skill staying up after a swap. Use heal skill before a engagement and swap legends. Extra spike dmg!

I’ve read around the forums for a solution to this and clearing the gw2 temp folder does allow me to open it up. However, now I have to clear my temp folder every other day because it always comes back. Kinda annoying. Is there any way to prevent this?

If it makes you feel any better I opened about 20 bags and got lyssa drop. Stopped going to pavilion after that.

Thieves can they can indefinitely stealth off the keep walls now. Anet removed this “feature” but after the latest patch they can now stealth off the walls of keeps once again. No teleporting needed.

Can’t you use the fishing pole to pull it down?

Actually the way I understand it is once skin is unlocked, in any game mode, you can use the skin. However, you will have to use a transmute thing (not sure what they will be called now) and the skin will not come with any stats. That’s how I understand it. So, if you have legendary you can use the skin on another char but it will not be legendary and will not come with the ability to swap stats like a crafted one would.

And to answer your question, yes I think you will be able to.

She can be difficult since stability doesn’t work. Professions with invulnerability don’t have problems though with stomping. With engi I just threw my Elixir S (stealth) walked up and used Elixir U + Elixir S for a quick and painless stomp. Ele with misform can do it as well.

Back in GW1, Mesmer’s were the Kings of Hex’s. No other profession had so many different hex spells. As a player, you had to learn all these different spell icons to know what was what. For GW2, ANet didn’t want the player to keep looking at the UI, so they made our hex spells into physical manifestations.

We players need to stop thinking that illusions are pets/minions. Like a hex, Mesmer’s require line of sight/target to land a illusion cast.

When the target dies, so does the hex/illusion. If we are blinded at cast, we miss. If the target dodges, blocks,etc., then our hex/illusion casts fail. Nothing more.

I don’t mean to rant, but these forums are constantly comparing the Mesmer’s Illusions to minions and ranger pets. “Why do ranger pets do this, when illusions do that? Why do illusions do this when minions do that?” They are not the same. Illusions = Hex spell.

Now if they could just fix the pets err I mean “hexes” AI…

Well the thing that bothers me the most is their passive healing requiring no action from the player. Healing sig + adrenaline health is very strong at the moment. The best counter is poison but easily removed with cleaning ire. Other professions however have to actually time their healing skills. They have to consider when its best to use it and their heals can actually be interrupted. What’s even more alarming is the healing signet is one of the highest (If not highest??) healing per sec compared to other heals in game. Anyways, a Nerf is already confirmed and supposedly its an 8% decrease in heal sig passive.

It’s true, you can jump off the cliff while in combat and if you’re quick enough you can port to WP because you fall long/far enough to exit combat.

Completely agree. This game is polluted with bad and mediocre rangers. Once in a blue moon you might get a good one that uses sword, but 99.9999% of the time rangers stay with their horrid dmg bow and pew pew away. It seems ranger attracts a large amount of inexperienced/not willing to learn players. And that’s great! Play how you want right?…… until it starts affecting other players……

This is what happens when you make content that relies on large amount of randoms to do it. Lowbies ruin it for everyone else. Think I’m joking? I’m not. Only takes one lowbie to make a group fail. The effect is the entire map then fails.

Anet, PLEASE make more content like Queens Jubliee (solo-able) so I don’t have to rely on lowbies to ruin my experience in game. Thanks.

They were used to buy keys, for the coffer in Kessex Hills. As the coffer has vanished with the new patch, the keys and thus the spores aren’t needed.
Expect a huge price drop as a lot of speculators bought a lot of them.

They are used in the new sigils and sharpening stone recipes… I highly doubt they won’t be used anymore…

Well you could just view the video they posted on twitch.tv to see what the changes were. Anyways, different sigils of the same type (on crit, swap..) will now have separate cooldowns (ex. fire and air can now work together).

Is GS the new meta again?? Last I knew, GS was a pretty crappy weapon for Mesmer and would get you the “kick” button in a group.

This is for WvW. Not Pve. Roaming without a GS means you can’t catch anything that runs away.

Slick shoes does work. There is a 33% limit on speed outside of combat, so using it will seem like you have swiftness. In combat, characters move slower and therefore 50% will be much more noticeable. You will move faster than someone with swiftness in combat.

There was a light armor flame armor set, but it was removed since many people complained that copy/pasting T3 human armor onto every race and adding flames was inappropriate.

I always post for lv 80 only. I just don’t feel like teaching every single group i run with how to do the dungeon. I usually run dungeons daily and if I don’t post lv 80 only, i get half lowbies. After running multiple runs through AC with lowbies and failing miserably, I opted to never run with them again. I don’t want to deal with it anymore.

If you want to learn a dungeon, join a guild and have them teach you. Also, I have 6 lv 80 characters and none of them ran any dungeons until they were lv 80.

This. I have always gotten a rapid exotic insignia from salvaging from dungeon armor while using a BL salvage kit. Also, you cannot get insignias from salvaging armor that has stats that are already craftable.
