Adding my grumbling to the pile. This was not an easy item to make and for it not to work properly is upsetting. : ( Bumping because we still have not heard from Anet on this issue.
Please fix.
Yep, both achievements are bugged for me. Pages don’t show up at all and Beirgarth never spawns to rez.
Adding my vote to the pile. Please make Mistward armor Account bound/Soulbound on Use. Thanks!
Ran into this unfortunate “feature” this morning. These really need to be made Account Bound, yesterday. Here’s to hoping Anet eventually gets around to it.
Colin mentioned that future precursor attainment will be tied to completing collections. I seriously hope Anet will be taking the route of an epic scavenger hunt akin to the mini Black Moa chick quest in Guild Wars 1. I had a blast doing that in Guild Wars 1 and it seems a perfect fit in Guild Wars 2. Make it difficult, make it a challenge, make it a “grind”, but also make it attainable without the requirement of RNG drops. Would rather collect 10,000 Globs of Globby Goo and know I’m still making progress toward my goal then be forced to camp an event in hopes of a 0.000001% chance at it.
And while we’re on the subject, where is my mini Black Moa chick in GW2, Anet? What gives? :P
Please add his banter under player instrument volume slider so those who do not wish to hear it’s incoherent ramblings can do so without losing out any valuable in-game audio.
Seconded and a hearty “Yes please!” Can this be please be added? I do not wish to hear other players backpacks in the game.
Yeah, NOT a fan of this new system. This plays to Anet’s favor of always having a oddball gem surplus in limbo that is not able to be used, particularly so if you buys gems to convert to gold. PLEASE revert it back to the old system and let us be able to specify and /or round up our gem purchases to the desired amounts needed for purchases.
The new players are just going to have to utilize their grey matter a little more and figure it out like we all did 2 1/2 years ago. Stop coddling them and irritating your established players.

Since crafting the legendary rifle, the Predator, I can’t help but notice many of its shortcomings. While you do get the neat fire aura and sci-fi sound effects, you get no aura unless the weapon is active. The footstep effects are also the worst of any legendary; tiny fire explosion “donuts” which trail behind your character a whopping five feet. I see others leaving trails 15-20 feet behind their characters. Where’s the love, ArenaNet? This legendary needs a serious overhaul to bring it up to par with other existing legendarys.
Anyone know if you put a Superior Rune of the Mad King on an aquabreather, if you’ll still summon the “ravens” underwater? My guess is no, but then again, you get your mail underwater, so birds underwater aren’t out of the question.
Searched around online and even went directly to the source by opening up a ticket with GW2 support to get a definitive answer, but it turns out the jackhole answering support emails that day was too lazy to do proper research. Thanks Anet!
So…anyone?
I’ve got an extra 200 I’ve been holding onto all year. Can anyone confirm if we are/aren’t getting more of these this year?
If not, what gives, Anet?
They need to put this back in to allow casual players and those who don’t live in FotM more time to complete these achievements. Ridiculous that it’s gone so fast.
WAY too soon to take this away, ArenaNet. Please put this back so casual players and players who don’t live their life around FotM can get a chance to complete them.
Count me in as another player that would like to see this fixed ASAP. I’ve already sent an in-game support ticket as well.
So, I’m running a thief, P/P and D/D, with a Critical Chance of 51% and a Crit. Dmg of 86%. Right now I’ve got a Sup. Sigil of Air and Battle on each loadout.
Would it be more advantageous to run Sup. Sigils of Strength instead of Battle? Or would this just be a wash? I realize this comes down to play style, length of encounter and situation. But all things being equal, which would be better you think?
Let me be the first to say…“why??”
If I’m that interested to see someone’s title, I can just click on them. Having titles show in the player’s name field floating above their head just clutters up the screen more. At the very least, give us an option to turn it off.
(Psst, and Anet? While you’re at it, let’s cut down on the amount of time function-less guild banners stay in the world. Lion’s Arch on Yaks Bend looks like kitten with all the errant banners sticking up everywhere.)
That is all.
As of 3/9/2013 4am EST
Anvil Rock has it open
The Benthic Kelp Beds in Mount Maelstrom are a nod to Benthic Petroleum from the movie “The Abyss”.
There’s also an NPC in Brisban Wildlands named “Isabeau Navarre”. Ladyhawke reference.
Hey Anet,
I know you really want to push the features of WvW, but guess what? Not everyone likes WvW. Hard to believe, I know. And making it a requirement in order to complete monthly achievements just alienates us players who don’t care for it even more. So since you’re already invested in changing up daily achievement requirements, how about removing or rotating the WvW requirement off of the monthly achievement, yeah?
Aaaaah. Did not know that. Thanks for the heads up!
I purchased a Superior Sigil of Hobbling via the BLTP and cannot apply it to my weapon. I am a level 62 Warrior ankittenrying to apply it to my rifle (actually, can’t apply it to ANY weapon; doesn’t light up blue).
