This particular quest is broken while he is underwater, there are no mobs, no dialogue. Nothing. I was looking for the Orrian Pearl which he gives after the quest but there is no progression to the bugged quest.

The event is definitely bugged by what everyone said stated above. There is no way to progress in any shape or form.

I have the same problem and also 10 other people who in the same map today also said they couldn’t reach it either.

How come some items from the gemstore aren’t in the wardrobe? Unless I’m missing something, the Warrior Quaggan in the Backpiece section and the Ancestral Outfit in the Outfit section (there may be more, I’m probably just missing it) aren’t there.

Are they intended not to be included?

@Mystic – The thing is, I don’t really know how to utilize the API. Like in a programming sense, which programs do I insert the codes, or how do I bring up certain information needed.

@Khisanth – Well, the missing ones is the ones I’m looking for also. For characters, it would be great to add on site → insert char → find out how many found vs missing. I feel like I’m using you too much so if you can show me how to use it, that would be great.

Relevent: I think I got all the new recipes from the LA event. Got lazy to craft the backpiece.

@Khisanth – It’s a very long list I would imagine. I need help to make a list of all recipe sheets to date, including karma, and ascended. If it makes it easier for you (not sure it would), you can separate it by rarity, or how it was obtained. ex drop, karma, mystic forge… Whichever is easier.

Only looking for the names is the main thing.

@Blude – As I said before, the wiki is incomplete and I’m looking for more specific ones. An example would Potent Superior Sharpening Stone. I didn’t know these dropped in the during the Aetherblade event.

Although I do get what you are trying to say (at least I think so), is that I use it as a general idea and work my way there. Thanks for trying though.

@DiamondMeteor – I want to get the most out what I can get, even though some recipes are gone. So if some are gone forever, so be it. Hopefully the starcake would come back in dragonbash. Or Anet could help me -wink wink-

If even it’s impossible or takes like 5 years to collect, that doesn’t mean I should stop because it’s out of reach. Which was the point of me collecting it all. So in the end, I could make an extensive list in the wiki and update it as such. The collection hoarder screams inside me.

@xanthic – I can attempt again on using API, but I’m no technical (in a software sense) kind of guy. Do you happen to know any beginner’s guide other then the one given? Thanks

@AtriustheGod Ascended is my last priority. Although most ascended is found through laurels, which I don’t have a problem with (although I do hate timegates), I’m more concerned with limited recipe sheet based ones, such as Keeper’s Zealot inscriptions.
Limited drop or accountbound drops are my number 1 priority, since they are much harder to collect.
Cost isn’t a factor, I make a lot of gold as is.

@Blude – I am already aware of that site, thanks though. I’m more concerned with recipe sheets then discovery recipes since those are much harder to do.

With recipe sheets, they can come from anywhere:
1. past events that are no longer available
2. accountbound recipes that can’t be bought
3. hasn’t been discovered/ known by players.
4. Low drop rates.

HI, I’m attempting to get every single discovery/recipe sheets possible for all 8 crafting disciplines currently to date. Before someone asks me why am I doing this? Well, I got nothing better to do then collect stuff when guild WvW isn’t happening and I have no goals so this would be my long term one.

Now, I have a few issues.
1. I tried to cataloged the recipe sheets that I do and do not have but I have no idea how many are out there.

2. The ones I do find are duplicates and/or in a different name when learning the recipe. ex Giver’s inscription, insignia.

3. Some recipes don’t exist but shows in gw2db.

4. Wiki is incomplete, but I’m not blaming the site for that.

So, what I’m asking someone that does know or have a more extensive list that they have or know a site that has a complete list. It would even be great if someone made a site that has all the recipes and I would compare. Or insert my char name and it pops up how much (% or value) I’m missing.

As the title states, I am not receiving credit reward for running 2 paths on CoE. I should have received the 2 1g chests after the 2 26s chests but I did not receive any.

Done on level 38. Usually a fair fractal difficulty

- Increased difficulty.
- When reaching the large firepit, the wooden structure safe spot is now spammed with AoE. ( I didn’t know you stand on this spot and wait for the ice to melt)
- AoE blasts from Elemental Source occurs more regularly. (spammed)
- Veteran Ice Elementals have a larger aggro range. (more sensitive range)
- There are no more agony blind spots when the Legendary Shaman spams AoE. (I saw this coming)

Have you noticed any changes to this particular fractal?

How should that work? By patching each server/zone at a different time?

Getting kicked due to a patch during a fight is annoying, I get that, but on the other side they warned us two hours ago that this will happen, so we all have been warned.

They did it for when your in a dungeon at the time of a reset why not during an event that is being done.

Dungeons are instanced and is considered separate.

When the devs test, they test the way the game as intended. And there can be so many of them.

A few devs vs us (the population of a few thousand). You will see why we are the bigger sample and can find bugs more efficiently. Some of us like to break the game by flying over unintended areas or encounter unforseen situations, etc…

A test server =/= an actual server. There are tools in test servers that do not occur in playable servers.

When I completely exited the game and relogged back in, it seemed to be fixed but I repaired the file anyways and didn’t get an issue.

Edit: And yes, everyone who had the same title, had the same problem.

My guild member’s title was Emissary of the Mad King. But it came up as a totally new language. Everyone else’ titles was fine.

I think it’s a bug.

I can enter to watch the instances but I can’t exit into Black Citadel. I have to WP out of it. Is this normal? Usually in personal story I can exit normally.

Removed nonfunctioning sigils from several jewelry and accessory items sold by karma vendors in the Iron Marches.

Disabled the use of some consumable items in dungeons.

I’m curious why they did this: “Weapons sold by vendors are no longer salvageable.”.
I know karma vendor items weren’t salvageable (even though I think we should be able to at least salvage upgrade items from them).

I believe using 30 tokens to buy rares and salvage them was not intended by anet.

Can you put them in the forge? I wonder if that will change in the future.

yeah, you could put them in the forge. Not sure about now though.

Edit, actually when I think about it more carefully, not sure you can get rare weapons from dungeons, rare armor definitely. You could definitely chuck exotic weapons into the forge though. I’ve done that before.

There are no rare weapons, just exotic weapons. Whether this update affects dungeon merchants is yet to be seen.

Yes I did read thread. If your build requires food then it’s pretty much you depend on food and not on skill.

Sounds like you assume everyone by post history and say what class you assume they place and complain so and so. How about not play glass cannon. Glass cannon is a risk with no defense.

Looking at your history, looks like your a ranger who uses range, and your not in melee.

This change hurt people who melee, it had little to no effect on players who ranged.

I play on my Guardian. The only high level character I have, every other character is lvl 20 (or so). Your guessing game is wrong.

It is when you buy an item from the gem store using gems, gems can be acquired from gold or from real life money.

Getting the mist essences is what I would consider a rare drop, but they still drop.

I even asked in LA and DR map chat if anyone has ever received dyes from salvaging and people were saying no, they didn’t think it’s possible. Wiki doesn’t list salvaging as a way of acquiring them either but who knows how accurate wiki is. Oscar replied that he has salvaged an item into a dye before so I guess I’m not the only one… I guess I just got really lucky to get 2 back to back.

He didn’t get it from salvaging, he stated he got his from harvesting plants.

Mining nodes should be in your minimap. They looks like ores or tiny mountains that look different from the map itemself.

^This is something that you could take a look at.

You would need a mining tool to harvest that node and it would become crafting material. (Usually from vendors)

Everyone can see the same node, but it is the same for everyone, you get your “own kind of node”. Nodes location reset after each patch or something like that.

Are you referring to another method of acquiring exotic weapons through the MF that’s not random?

It’s not possible. Any exotic weapon that has a recipe cannot be obtained by the 4 rare/exotic system or dropped in game.

There are no rifles craftable in the MF. (besides Mystic Rifle)

There exotic items that are missing crafting recipes such as:
Wings of Dwayna, Feathers of Dwayna, Ether….

1. Yes, the cost effectiveness is pretty much the reason why there isn’t much trays being sold. The value of food buffs is low.

2. For the crafting level one, would you want a crafting level 25 tray to be made? If that particular food that worthy to be spent on? I’m pretty sure there is better variants that have a higher priority than some vegetable stock.

3. Suggest it them, see what they say about it.

4. Maybe it’s to eliminate MF mistakes?

I came out a bit strong. :o

For the percentage, even if there is a fixed percentage, there are more ectos to be gained than not receiving at all.

Ex. 10 exotics. 7 have 0 ectos, the other 3 has 3 ectos each. The return rate is 90% overall, considering the 3 exotics covered the other 7 losses. Even if the salvaging kit was 25%, the rate was in your favour and may not be in others. (dry spells)

I also noticed the mistake in my math.
The point was that the glob of ectoplasm is and always will be a crafting material.
Just because you always receive one in every salvaging attempt does not mean it is an upgrade. If you receive 2 or 3 in every attempt, does that mean the rate should be 200%? 300%? (based on your assumption that it is an upgrade?)

Even though crafting materials make up upgrades, not all upgrades come from crafting materials.

Using the Black Lion Salvagin Kit yields the best results, you already know you are guaranteed a rune/sigil, but not a rare material. 90% does not equal 100%.

Never had issue, either is cause by something recent or I just never ever stumbled upon such an event, is it really an event or a heart? Cause I have world completion and never had a water bucket not register.

There hasn’t been a heart where water buckets were the only method. For me, I never bothered with water buckets and went to the alternative methods.

This should be fixed.
