It seems a lot of people have this problem (including me).

Man this post is like 4 months late.

So I heard that the current 3 borderlands will be replaced with the desert borderlands, but will anything happen to the eternal battlegrounds? (I need to catch up on news)

Also on HoD. Which makes it worse, since we have 40+ player queues.

Hacker. Almost 100% sure of it.

As we all know, Its ANets inability (Or simple unwillingness) to fix their engine optimization along with the unwillingness to get better servers.

+1 to that. Really annoying to have a .5-1 delay on my skills. Doesnt sound like much but makes a big difference.

All in all, this is just to make thieves easier to kill, right? I don’t see any other benefit to doing this.

Guardian: Stability stomp
Engineer: Elixir S stomp
Thief: Stealth, shadowstep stomp
Ranger: Stability stomp
Elementalist: Mist Form stomp
Mesmer: Invuln, stealth stomp

I really don’t think these stomps should be removed, (if anything, buff necros), just thief’s and elementalist’s #2 be changed a bit. In most 1v1 situations however, you’re pretty much done if you’re downed and your enemy isn’t, so when you use your downed skills, you are delaying the inevitable 99% of the time. That 1% chance being a teammate is coming or your enemy is at like 1% health. This is coming from a thief so it probably sounds biased, but its just my opinion.

I got the recipe from a gift, and I used it. Its not under my huntsman or artificier, and i havent even done weapon smithing. So where is it?

While it’s indeed interesting to note that the cash stop has become the primary source for obtaining skins in a game that has been advertised as being all about collecting skins, that hardly makes it Pay to Win.
But yes, I am actually wondering what we’re still playing the actual game for, if everything desirable can be obtained in the cash shop and nowhere else. Except backpieces and helmets (which I am utterly not interested in, as none of my characters ever display helmets, shoulders, and backpacks), not many skins drop in the actual in-game content. this nails my point completely P2Win traditionally meant boosters or gear that gave you the ability to beat end game content. Anet has no end game content in the traditional since the end game content is the skins you get.

P2W means winning. Pay to WIN. What the hell are you winning with skins? I don’t see anyone kicking kitten in wvw or speed running dungeons because of their mlg rox bow. Endgame is NOT skins. Endgame is enjoying the game after you did everything you wanna do. If skins is how you like to stroke your kitten then fine, but p2w is having a bigger advantage than others, usually in the form of stats.

I prefer rotating maps and I use signet of rage when I am mobile. Plus the party menu was scrambled to protect identity.

The map is rotated. It IS quite uncommon among guild wars 2 players.

Its just for looks. Nothing is “necessary” in guild wars 2. Gem store skins, legendaries, none of that is necessary, but if you like the look then go for it.

Except the new ascended gear and the infusions they will soon release. Who wants to be dead weight in a party, right?

Unless your party is full of elitests, I doubt they care if you have ascended. Unless its fractals, where infused items become mandatory.

As the title reads, how is permastealth getting nerfed? I read the dec10 notes and I found the only thing that I could see was the increase to initiative regen, which is a good thing? I play a p/d thief, so none of this really bothers me but I would still like to know what people are talking about. I’m probably just missing something.

I’m pretty sure it’s possible. But if you’re gonna do that kinda thing, make sunrise. I believe it is cheaper and its still a greatsword. (you might change your mind about transmuting right after you make/buy it anyway, they’re all pretty good skins, just gotta use em first)

Master’s is best for getting dusts with ectos. And so, yes the kit does effect the drop rate of dusts. You can try it out yourself.

Yes. Make it so its like a football game, people can only spectate/cheer the teams. Or in this case, cheer the sentries and dolyaks.

you’d eventually end up with too many conflicting aura’s since it seems all legendaries weapons are getting the, if trinkets did also…chances are they’ll be legendary in that you can switch their stats to whatever type.

Or maybe the legendary trinkets will transform you into a Quaggan when you double click it. A Quaggan that can jump and fight with your weapons and etc like Watchknight tonic.

It sounds like your falling sound is being glitched with other movements. Trust me it happens to me too. Seems like teleporting and going really fast causes it.

Well to OP, you are definitely lucky, however I remember a forum post about a person getting 7 precursors in 3 hours. I’m also lucky myself, getting 3 precursors will all a maximum of 10 or so tries.

When you play a thief in wvw, what kills you? (Assuming they actually find you and catch up to you)
As a p/d thief, other bursty thieves and necros are my weaknesses. What are yours?
