Done with ranger as well as with my thief, both berserk (so full gc build). Mainly by hiding in a tower and the enemy didn’t search well, sometimes with a cata/ram, once with a golem 3 towers in a row (probably only 10 ppl per side online at that time tz..)
As Ranger:
Rampage at one – Longbow opening with barrage, switch to shortbow and kill the rest of the guards. As soon as there is only the champ left, you can almost go afk. Stand behind your pet and switch if almost dead – 2 tank pets (bears) and its more than easy even without any pet traits.
As thief:
Can be more difficult, but done it several times as well during night times. Sword/Pistol, Signet of Malice, Omnonberry food – Daggerstorm running in, pulling mobs together for pistol whip and simply heal up with it. Smoke screen if you get low.
If you didn’t got enough dmg you probably need to kite the guards out but they follow you rather long same as the champ does so imo its easiest to just kill all together with aoes.
Try to dodge the knockback if the champ, its good visible but not that much time to react. It might kill you if you was already low.
No idea about other classes, warrior and mages can for sure as well.
Sometimes the champ kinda bugs for like 20-30s and simply does nothing, no idea why or if its intended/possible to reproduce.
Keeps are possible as well but tbh i had only 1 chance so far on my ranger and messed it up at 30% hp left when killing the last respawning guard. In duo not a big deal to kill as long as the enemys doesn’t recognize, even SM would be possible with 2 ppl (messed this up as well at ~30% left.. 5-10 ppl came to stop us )

reinforced repairs both as well.
Auto-repair at certain hp of a gate/wall doesn’t exist.
There’s only one exception to this rule, the bugged inner water gate @garrison, it somehow doesn’t count to the keep so it doesn’t get repaired by upgrades nor it is upgraded/gives an attack sign to the keep.

have u actually sever seen a mesmer HIDING in a tower for long?NO…so in your case this portal must have been thrown down by some mesmer that exploited.
I’ve hid inside a TOWER for over 15 minutes. There are some good spots. Zzz.
Have to agree. Managed same several times on my ranger&thief to solo re-cap them after the buff was gone. Sometimes ppl will just not look for any enemys inside and some towers got nice spots to hide.

And what you want to do if there are 10 people building it instant? Switching map with 10 ppl, come back and you got your golem (let’s say 11 in case it gets a bit dmg).
Next thing is that you can build them directly at your legendary defenders making it almost impossible to destroy without having any balists at your site (which would come close to spawn camping again).
Increase of the siege block buff would be a first solution to this special problem.

golem trains in general are a joke if there wasn’t any chance to scout them early enough. Once at the door it melts within seconds even if its reinforced without getting to much dmg. 2nd gate the same, 2-3 mesmer and they are there instantly while not even the 3min timer of a waypoint is free. 3 mins is more than enough to take a fully upgraded keep with a surprise attack (10-15 golems)
I suggested a while ago to limit the max amount of golems per side/map to lets say 5 to stop those senseless golem armys, esp if there are some omegas in you don’t even have a chance using siege against them (they wouldn’t be dead in time anyway with 250-300k hp). 5 are still a great dmg support but possible to defend – remember that people still can carry enough supply to build extra siege.

They could always from time to time. One day alphas were able to jump, next day they were not again.. who knows if it stays now. Omegas were/are never able to jump though, no idea what they are trying with it.

protects you from their normal hit and interrupt while also giving a bit of defense if someone else wants to interrupt you in melee range.
also as said that almost 1st person view removes your option to see attacks from larger distances.
And to be honest.. most parts of the video i’ve seen were against absolutly unexperienced players or probably people that run as soon as they see any random thief. Looking esp at those 2 guardians at 5:40 and 9:30 (9:30 was the worst joke ever.. running away of a thief that didn’t even got hp anymore..).

Im not sure if this really is working as intended.
As you can see 3 of 4 siege weapons still got their protection when the door was already open (another arrow cart below me with bubble as well).
I was able to hit the person at the arrowcart while the siege itself didn’t got any dmg.
How are you even supposed to defend a tower without reinforced walls/gates (because it was taken few mins ago) if the protection last that long/is bugged?
Imo this needs to be tweaked a bit (and lake is already a tower thats easy to defend.. other ones suffer even more of that event).

Gotta ask Shini.. is your guild made of only thieves?
Actually we are just a small group, currently running with 2 thieves, 1 guard and 1-2 eles. Other ppl of our guild randomly appear as well (some more eles and another thief, mesmer as well)

Versus larger numbers we still enjoy ourselves normally, but the feeling of “Not much we can do” just went to “Nothing we can do, unless we find 3 ele’s to swirling winds the walls” Really starting to hate these dependencies on certain classes to be effective at sieges.
works with some other classes as well but needs to be better ‘aimed’
smoke screen of thieves (with correct trait 2 thiefs are able to conter 1-2 trebs) – we did that a few days ago at bay until fortify was done. Placement of it is a pain..
Guards absorb bubble works as well, not sure about mesmer.

Looking at this since already several weeks as someone not takin part in that tier.
As the first rated server in that tier you can hardly gain any points (to get to t8) by yourself even if you completly dominate the 2 last ranked servers. Those servers HAVE TO totaly rely on the t8 results that someone is dominated there and falls one rank and all because Vabbi in this case only got half of the points the 3rd last server got.
Taking the actual results, whiteside ridge even loosing points of 1k while clearly winning the match-up with 234k to 97k and 51k.
Imo there should be sth like a minimum of points you will get as first placed or sth in your calculation that treats the server with a max of e.g. 200k point difference. Otherwise those servers down there can barely recover themself.

Had some fun fights with you guys at south area of RoS borderlands with more or less equal numbers until some people came with their golems to take bluelake, then you were outnumbered for sure. Dont know what happened there at the supp camp at north, was recognizing the combat sign for quite long there, already though it would be you guys there.
At least you came with almost only lv 80s and not so many uplvled ones like surmia (sorry for that, but if surmia would have more lv80 exo people we probably would have had a lot of problems more this week).
However the week is almost over and so just a thanks for all the fights this week at RoS borderlands, was a lot of fun Never felt like switching borderlands because there was always something to do and you didn’t give up. Sometimes you were outnumbered, sometimes we, several close fights, some unfair ones due to numbers but almost all the time still able to enjoy.
And.. a lot of trebs to kill-.-
Oh and thanks for the few 1on1 today to one of gunnar’s d/d ele today, DH guild though. Needed more than just a few burst dmg to kill you Was just a bit annoying when 1 other thief came from behind while finishing you, but you got him after though :p he seems to always ran away from you.

I’m still hating that breakout event..sure its a nice idea for outnumbered servers which lost everything, np with that at all, but its just to much.
- only 5 supps for building siege
- sooo many different siege weapons
- paper towers where you didn’t even got a chance to build sth until the event starts
- bubbles-.- they last for ages sometimes even after the siege is already build a few mins
- bubbles again that e.g. at cliffside prevent you even from entering the tower
- commander npc with a lot of hp and huge dmg + good cc (+ players cc of course)

Gz Imp for stealthing Bluelake a few min ago. One guy recognized it more or less early enough (thanks Neabenn) and posted it in map chat but our newly joined so great commander kept zerging against your keep instead of going to def a fully upgraded tower.. really hate people that just join in a borderland, command people around (while they listen to him) and destroy the work of those who defend and build up everything the whole week.
Stupid comments at chat as a bonus.. hope you guys will get bay, hills and greenbriar as well. We are leaving for today RoS borderlands, that behaviour is just kitten us off. Same happened btw yesterday with bay when a new commander joined and just told the people to let the outer wall fall, let the gate fall and def at lord.. great idea, really great..
So, GL RoS, build some more trebs because there won’t be someone killing them now that – always were our ballists killing them because noone else cared about like ‘oh theres a treb shooting, lets repair the wall until supply is empty’

Like other people mentioned, we just need to see damage numbers pop up when we hit a stealthed target. But, I don’t think damage should break stealth.
Fighting other thiefs as thief myself I dont even need that. I got 3 signs if I hit my enemy or not.
1: my signet heal will show me a green number if hit
2: my buff food will heal me in ~50% of my hits
3: my 2nd/3rd autohit wil be activated
Almost every class got a way to see if his/her attack was successfull or not, so its simply not important to see the dmg but still I wouldn’t care if it would be visible.

let 1 mob alive and tank it – almost every class can do this without probs – and charge only at the other side. Doesnt matter if 2nd seal will be healed or not, its all safe if one seal is broken (the one where 1 mob was still alive).
with fail
run as group and pull them rather far into the hall so they start healing later. Depending on classes/skill of players there might be 1 or 2 persons able to just tank 1 side. As thief I can hold them quite long without them healing the seal to much. Pull some with cluster bombs (5-8 or so), group them at a corner and kill them via s/p combi – blind makes it easy even as a class cannon what i am. Worked a few weeks ago when doing lv38 and probably still works.

So, talking about exploiting what was that a few minutes ago @RoS borderlands in bay?
Our bay wasn’t open since 6 or more hours and just out of nowhere you were standing inside with 2 golems via mesmer port. Do you really want to say that someone was hiding that long while we defended several attacks at bay without any gate breaking?
Seriously, I highly doubt that.
I’m here at this borderland since 8 a.m. so I know there was nothing down.

@Shini – That was before they implemented the reveal timer, now, there’s a few seconds where you cannot re-stealth
I’m thief myself and know what I’m talking about. I said without doing damage its possible to do perma stealth.. via combo fields. Was just the theory about perma stealth Of course I know that it doesn’t work in-fight.

Huh? There’s no perma stealth in thieves, only non thieves will say there’s perma stealth.
There is but not for combat due to the revealed debuff. That was the way thiefs were able to hold camps for hours without getting out of stealth (if the enemys were dumb enough to not conter it) but meanwhile that capping is fixed.
“remove stealth if getting hit” – as a thief that isn’t playing with a lot of stealth mostly, I probably wouldn’t mind BUT still it wouldn’t work. Every single range attacks follows you if it still travels. Channeling attacks like rangers longbow “2” even completly hit you if started before the thief uses stealth. Dots breaking stealth? 2 cons on you and stealth is useless, not a good idea as well. Yes, there is a trait with removes condidtions while stealthed but iirc thats only 1 per 10s (correct me if im wrong, it’s in a tree I didn’t got any points in- toughness though).

So much talking of stuff that doesn’t belong to this thread. It’s just about the downed mist form and not any active sigil effects or whatever while still beeing alive. Any other class that gets pulled down of the wall and is downed after that can’t return in the tower/keep while it’s senseless to do this with any ele.
Sure there were a reason why that changed the mistform from “3” in downed with 10s cd to “2” but it’s not what it should be. Just change it, as said, so they can’t enter portal while in mist. Even some of our guild mates who play ele themself as main think it’s ridiculous and would “like” to have it changed. Though there are for sure other thinking the same.

Well, just wanted to say thanks to some nice fights @RoS borderlands.
We were deffing there with a max of 10 people the last ~6 hours, was funny until you guys woke up. Just couldn’t handle it any longer with outmaned buff (esp. because Gunnar was there with a little zerg for like 30 min as well while you attacked hills – lost the 2 spawn towers in that time..).
Lot of destroyed catas @outer wall of bay a few minutes ago while having 6 or 7 persons left on that map :p
However, I’m just a bit sad that we were able to build everything @bay&hills and almost at garrison at well while on the other borderlands & eternal most of the keeps are still far away from beeing completed. Had a bit more hope there. Just 1 waypoint at Dzago borderlands after 14 hours of holding with almost no competition seems a bit lame to me.

Do we know if agony only gets increased at 10,20,30 etc or if there are shades at every level?
every 10 lvl with a cap at max AR (min dmg of agony is 1% of your HP).
cap is reached with 10 AR at lv10+, 25 AR at lv20+, 40 AR at lv30+ (at least you get with 30 AR the dmg you had at lv10 with 0 AR) and probably 15 AR more per 10 lv

reasons:

It’s a good rewarding frac esp due to the 2nd last event with an insane amount of mobs starting at lv30. Doors are without a thief in party rather hard to do, with one that knows what to do its easy (esp for right door [bombs]). However, the final bosses are a joke at higher lvls. For the dredge boss if you miss one double dodge of his agony attack you are least downed and you can never evade all 3 waves at a 100% rate because there can always hit 1 attack in beetween your both dodges. For the ice elemental I still can’t figure out which of his attacks causing the agony.
Grawl:
Vets at the first champ are getting harder and harder to kill in time esp. if your team consists of some def players. Once they managed to kick one down, they start to do an almost insane amount of dmg + pulling your whole group. Final bossing I have nothing to say about though, but at least you are able to dodge everything 100%. Without reflects/absorbs this frac is probably the hardest ones at higher lvls because you won’t be able to ress without them.
Cliffside:
After all those fixes it meanwhile rather easy to kill the final boss which decreases the difficulty a lot. Arm seals are the only hard part but still easy to do if everyone knows what to do. Grab attack + light attack of the final boss are the only risk and easy to dodge for every class (esp without having issues to kill the mobs now).
Ascalon:
Easy and rather fast frac esp. due to all the vet npcs you got. Only annoying thing here are warriors and mages – you barely can see the attacks of those mages while doing insane damage. However, the final boss again is more or less a joke. Agony attack got a short range and even for those with low attack range (thief-.- only one with 900 on normal hit though) there is more than enough time to dodge/run out of range. Meteor is dangerous but good visible.
Harpyies:
nothing more to say… annoying but thats it. Just annoying.
Snowblind:
Archer’s AoE hit a lot of not dodging out fast enough but they die faster than most other mobs. With a guard, mesmer or thief (better 2 of them in total) they become a lot easier due to reflects/absorbs. Talking of a personal view, I can let my party skip the first fire by doing it alone with stealth skills and some spy kits.
Swamp/Underwater:
nothing to say, by far the easiest ones.

The problem is that finishers are largely irrelevant, they aren’t quite as good as ANet intended them to be. You can ignore them
I would agree with the exception of blast finishers. They provide by far the best bonus of all those finishers. 1 ele or warrior (that sometimes switch to longbow – 5s weapswitch is great for it) or any other classes that got constant fire fields and there will be a lot of might stacks for everyone as long as they keep rather close to boss.
3x might for 20s (+extra time with +boon duration) @fire field
~1,5k heal @water field
10s weakness @poison field which can be done alone and even works great at champs/legendary bosses – means 25% dmg less (50% chance to do 50% dmg less on non crit and almost no mob can crit)
Prob is that most people don’t use those fields / don’t know about them and that an exploded cluster bomb (=better self heal) doesn’t count as finisher (at least it should count as 1 finisher).

Actually would work without the bubble. Tried it with my thief at lv10, not that much of a problem. But up to 40 stacks on the bubble are to much for 1 person.
Stoped trying after 2 resets, couldn’t even get close to break the bubble.

It also works if simply the whole group runs fast from side to side. Their aggro range is rather huge and they will follow you halfway to the other seal meaning in that time they can’t heal (at least of them). Works on 30+ as well im failed somewhere.
Some classes can even tank those amounts a while with right positioning/usage of their skills.

Just was a though :/ saw that happening to some people already when trying to buy upgrades beeing e.g. on an alt.
There’s only 1 other thing I could imagine – was the upgrade maybe running before the recent update? It happens then that the progress bar of the update doesn’t show / it aborts. Well still a bug of course and fortified walls are important for that keep..

Exactly the way im playing already since starting my thief.
Only problems, as already said, are knockdown and similar conditions. But if you jumped into the fight with ilfiltrator’s strike you will be still able to port back even if knockdowned, feared or whatever + it will remove a condition of you (never really read the description of sword skill nr 2 until a few days ago.. forgot about that feature).
Even if you are forced into range due to to heavy melee hits, you will be able to heal up fast with shortbow and good timed exploded cluster bombs (3 hits per mobs) or for boss fights if you go down fast p/p and unload – heals like 2-3k per usage.
Personally using:
signet of malice
signet of shadow (replaceable with any other skill, depending on if move speed is needed)
signet of agility (4.5 extra crit chance for better heal / condition remove for you and your team mates)
shadow refuge (using it for ressing only in most cases or for extra heal if needed)
replacing signet of agility or shadow with smoke screen if the current mobs are doing a lot of ranged hits.
Traits are different for me.
30 crit strikes is a must imo, traits 6 (1k hp more) 10 (not always, can be dangerous if you need black powder because it halfes the time / using 4 or 5 here often as well) and 11.
15 into acrobatics for more hp and more dodges. The first trait isn’t that important normally. 3 is kinda useless mostly because you don’t want to activate signet of malice so i mostly choose 2 or 1.
Those 45 are the basics for me.
Rest of the 25 points are depending on the difficulty of the dungeon/frac lvl or whatever im doing. If easy enough, 25 points into deadly art. If e.g. at frac lv40 im using 10 shadow art and 30 acrobatics with traits 9 and 10 for extra heal/ini regen.

I’m assuming your advice to kill all the mobs is because those that are ‘behind’ the crystal initially might end up joining the fight after a new wave of mobs appears and the party looks to gather near a fire after the snowblind teleport? They do start to hit hard..
cleaned places will respawn for sure, never watched closer to non cleaned spawns but I think there will be at least 1 extra mob per respawn.
Normally it should be 2 vets per fire place (5 in total) but there were already spots with 3 or 4 if not cleaned before though. 1 Person that got an unlucky teleport and it can be a dangerous way back to group (walking left/right around the houses can help to not aggro everything – if you got enough HP left to do that).
At least if you dont want to clean all of the points, clean at least the place left and right of you – those can be easily aggroed if you get knockbacked / dont watch your steps. Bouncing attacks might pull some more mobs as well by accident (mages light hit, thiefs shortbow, rangers axe.. for sure other things as well like pets, illusions, badly placed aoes etc.)
Normally we take the right fire after entering as the group place and regroup there. Personal Waypoint (alt + leftclick on minimap) can help to find the way back for persons that forget those things easy.

If you get a thief he can solo the bomb door without getting a hit mostly. 2-3 bombs per running in. For the other door: full dmg on the door and as soon as the mobs spawn – shadow refuge which lasts long enough for the rest of the door.
Well, if you didn’t got a thief (can’t happen to me :p) you need to care about the adds at both doors. Mesmers can help as well with stealth.
For ice frac:
You can ignore the vets at first 20 lvls but if you get higher, kill all you have aggro. Its not only their AoE that hurts, the single attack isn’t that weak as well esp if you got 4 or more mobs (higher number of respawn at higher lvls). It’s more safe to kill all of them. Depending on the party HP and the amount of mobs you can skip the 3rd respawn at 25% HP of the crystal left.
Sticking together is better here, as said the dmg rises and it happens more often that sometimes is downed. Also reflect/absorb walls work this way better. Pulling mobs together via guardian/mesmer helps a lot as well (better AoE usage)

Doesn’t matter if you are lv1 or lv50+, you can’t guess the chances because its random.
Let’s say you got a 20% of getting a ring at lv24 (10% for infused, 10% for non-infused) noone except devs could tell us if its a 10% or 20% chance to get a ring at 26+.
Only “safe” way to test this would be to record like 1000 dailys at lv24 and another 1000 for lv26 and calculate the percentages. Gl on this.

It happens that if you want to buy e.g. 100 items and get only 10 (while the whole money for 100 is spent) that you can find the other 90 in the “i want to buy these” or similar called, thats why you are missing those gold. If you would remove that request, you would have your gold instantly back for those extra 90 items. Probably that was the problem.

general function of the auction house:
As “buyer” you don’t have to pay any fee.
As “seller” there are 2 different fees.
First a seller has to pay 5% of the total price for putting it into the AH neverless it gets sold or not. You will not get those 5% back even if you remove your items out of the AH. That gold is lost.
If your items are sold you again have to pay a fee, this time 10% which only applys if items are sold.
In your case:
20 ectos á 26s66c = 533,2s
price for putting them into AH: 26,66s
fee for selling them them: 53,32s
so, after putting them in, you are at – 26,66s
if you remove those items, its still -26,66
If the 20 ectos will be sold you will gain 533,2s – 53,32s = 479,88s
Dont forget the -26,66s of the start your real profit is:
453,22s
easier to calculate:
real profit = 0,85 * [item amount] * [item value]
real profit = 0,85 * 20 * 26,66
= 453,22

So, after completing those achievement together with a friend i compared some of our stats and he has with the same “snowball class” way higher stats at all thanks to:
- spvp items
- maybe even different traits
- different class
So lets say there are 2 scouts, 1 of it original a mage, the other origanal a warrior. Probably the “warrior” will win thanks to sth like 8k hp more, some hundred armor more.
Or did I a mistake here? At least it seems wrong to me..

For the ranged chars that use the vent/crystals:
You can hide behind those edges at crystals/vent while still dpsing. This way the green bolts cant hit, only his light and fist attack.
Another thing about time warp:
Time warp CAN be good to have, but also can be a self kill sometimes. Problem of haste is that every skill is double as fast as normal. Means bubbles, that protect you from the bolts are only half the time there they normally should be (e.g. 3.5s smoke screen instead of 7s).
Thats why I personally play my thief without haste in fractals, I sometimes tank a group of 5 or more mobs melee via blackpowder, with haste its to fast gone to do it again.

Wall of reflection doesnt work though, at least I didn’t saw yet that one of our guardians used it there (while using it at harps before) but the bubble works to absorb. Same for Mesmer probably. A Thief can use smoke screen to give another 7s protection (the trait with smoke screen on death is awesom here, nr 4 at crit strikes).
No idea if any other class got sth similar, but guess not. projectile reflect does not seem to work, couldn’t reflect them with dagger storm (well would be to easy if it would work.. 8s reflect of all his attacks would be an insane dps in that turn around phase).

Did it a few times at 30+. After phase 1 get out of the room as fast as possible and make sure at least 1 person that is able to ress the other will survive, if possible a thief with all stealth skills + some spy kits.
The Boss+Seal only resets if the entire party is dead.
If you are safe, clean all the mobs before hitting the boss, but watch out – his aggro range is rather high. Kill it in the seal room (more place to dodge fields and to kite away).
He does his light shortly after the pull, a protection like buff will pop up (important to know if you ress and cant watch the boss except his HP bar) so you should almost insta dodge if you see it. With my current traits it isnt a prob to dodge the pull + the light and still beeing able to dodge some fields if neccesary.
A general tip: dodging becomes more important at higher lvls due to the current AR cap, so make sure you got something in your traits/skills that allows you to dodge more often.
Oh and btw theres a min dmg of 1% per agony tick disregarding how many AR you got. Max is reached for:
lv10+: 10 AR
lv20+: 25 AR
lv30+: probably 40 AR (with 30 you get the dmg you got at at 10+ with 0 AR)
lv40+: if it follows the other lvls, its 55 AR

So there are, iirc, 5 different types of mobs:
warriors, mages, cultists, monks and rangers (< or similar called).
I’m personally playing a thief with some more vit than usual but no toughness at all which means i got 15k hp (instead of 11k base) and 2k armor, which ofc isnt a lot.
I’m able to go melee against the cultists, monks and rangers and survive some time – their hits are not that hard but still shouldn’t be ignored.
But if it comes to warriors and mages.. warriors can be “easily” kited but if a charge of them hits, im dead/almost dead. It’s 13-16k though. As far mages they got a similar skill that 1hits me as well and I can’t even see any projectile flying or any red circle on the ground. Saw several other people dying to groups of mages as well, even guardians and warriors with a lot higher base hp and/or toughness/armor.
Anyone knows how to dodge those mage hits? Is there any animation I’m missing to see?
If not, I’d suggest that those mobs need a little fix.
I mean.. it’s not like ascalon frac would be to hard or so, it’s still one of the easier ones esp thanks to all the vet npcs you got, but at least give me/us a CHANCE to dodge incoming 1hits/2hits.
Talking about lv30+ btw, as noticed there will be a raise of 3 things at higher lvls:
- higher hp of mobs
- higher attack of mobs
- higher amount of mobs

They cant join your squad because you didn’t create one.
p → create squad
If done the sign is visible and they can join you. If you do not longer need the icon/function, just disband it.

from the looks of it, i was running my mf gear in that run lol. power/percision/mf with 5runes of pirate and 1rune of the traveler.
Already was wondering about the low crits if it was full berserk as stated before (playing that way as well) but mf explains it
Personally never though about the root because most mobs just insta kill it. But yeah, the boss is passive while he has his bubble/stacks so its a full 20s root, good idea indeed.
Just to add sth to thief:
beside dps/aoe dps and stealth res there is also the possibility to use smoke screen which means 7s of absorbing most ranged attacks, works for his agony attack as well and for the root of the larvas. But I’m not seeing other thiefs using it often.

There several things that make this 2nd phase for most ppl to hard.
- agony fields on the ground you need to dodge (also because of the poison buff you get)
- dodge his pull attack which does a lot of dmg to non heavy armored classes
- dodge his light which does also a good amount of dmg + agony
- dodge all the mobs that are still left after hitting the seal – its seems that they only despawn at <20, after 20 they never despawned for us
- some of those extra mobs (fanatics or so) do a necro like channeling attack.. as berserk thief i got 17k! from it at lv30.. even with high def build you couldn’t heal enough while still handling the boss – beside the fact that there are several other mobs not only that one..
-reflect shortly before casting the light attack and like 5-10s after the light
However, at Lv20-29 it is currently “easily” possible with a good group and a high AR, but still i prefer every other lv30+ boss over the archdiver of lv20..
Almost every group skips it if its first, and even if it is 2nd or 3rd some people skip it because it takes longer than doing 2-3 new runs often.

Yep, I am. Guildmate of me recognized the same several times meanwhile. Esp at Jade Maw there is only 1 agony attack that cant stack – 1st time i got 3.8k per tick, 2nd time 1.8k after just reequiping my AR items.
