1. The Ascended equips have to be crafted, crafting level need to be level 500, the Ascended Acessories can be bought from laurel vendor. Legendaries are something that takes alot of time and effort, just google ingredient or material for legendary and it will list them for you, not easy task. Exotic can be crafted or bought off trading post the market. Some armors are from dungeon or from Cultural armor vendors (list from Tier 1 to Tier 3, every race have their own unique Cultural Armors, Tier 3 cost the most and its only good for looks.) I havent got my legendary yet because im slow in games T.T
2. 2 type of PvP. The sPvP and the WvW. sPvP is your typical PvP but your character are auto 80 and all skill unlocked, It practically completely a diferent world. WvW is on the other hand where you wear the same armor you wear in PvE, but your level gets bumped up to level 80, skill same as your PvE. You gain Exp equal to your level and money equal to your level, like if your level 10 or 20 you get like 30 to 50 copper each cap, and at level 80 you get silvers for each caps.

3. Fractal is practically a Maze like dungeon, you enter and your auto dumped into one of the random dungeons that fractal have, complete them to get a chest and fractal frags at end of each dungeon, it will then ask if you want to continue, yes and youll auto transport to another random dungeon the system will randomly pick for you. Fractal have levels, the higher the level the harder the dungeons are. Example if you go to the swamp dungeon at level 1 its ok, but if you go to swamp and you set it at level 10 or any above it will get harder.

For me was always on Yaks escort Duty and i never get bore of it =)

I disagree with you on that. PvE maps are Easier to complete dude. PvE maps are easy as hell to navigate. Because you just go right to it, no need to pay attention.
But for me When im in WvW i can help it but to drop my map completion and run right to Defending a keep when needed X.X

It may sound easy to you about completing WvW maps but not for some others.

Map Ping Should be only visible party members. Cuz it would be chaos especially in WvW.

How about couple of Class for WvW purpose XD.

1. wish Move all PvE players to lower Tiers and allow WvW players to transfer to the higher Tiers. That way each can Enjoy there own thing, No one QQing from PvEer about having trouble doing map completion or events, and WvWers about PvEers taking up slots.

I think the color are depending on a servers performance.

If your a PvE player then Transfer to Lower tiers, much cheaper.
Top Tier WvW still need space for more Soldiers XD

You might be surprised – they could just let you pass without fighting.
They might kill you once but if you keep running back there they don’t get any points for a second kill later on (within a couple of mins).
Sometimes ask in map- say ‘hey I need this last bit for my mapping – can anyone help me out real fast?’

Some nicer WvW players may help you get it real quick!
Why? They want you off the map so they can get a WvW person into the map so they can fight a bit more for the world. You might get really lucky and have an escort of 50 people help you out !

It’s generally easier if you are not trying to run into there corner of the map (where they spawn). If you are wait for a map rotation.

Funny thing is T2 and T1 servers dont have such luxury. 1 person = to free bag, no matte rhow hard you try or wave all you want they can farm you all they want for free loot. Lower Tiers are easier. Also dude you think you can get your hands on WvW completion that easily even with the rotation? Dont forget EB (Eternal Battleground). On the top tiers try completing another servers Keep, unless you can stay up on the time where there isnt much players on but thats like rarely since the top 3 are like 24/7 covered.

All games requires skills, it just happens they’re different.

GW2, however, does seem to have a higher skill ceiling than other MMOs.

How other MMOs works:
You press the button. Skill starts casting. If it’s not canceled/interrupted, skill goes off, and WILL hit the target. (If there’s a math hit/evasion calculation, it’s calculated then)
You get close, you press melee skill, melee skill goes off. Calculates hit and damage.

How GW2 differentiates from it:

GW2 “Skill” is based on strategy and dexterity.

It’s still a different set of skills, so saying GW2 is “skill-based game” doesn’t imply the other games aren’t.

Not really true. Ive been playing Blade and Soul CN server and that game skill base is much higher then GW2. Consider that you need to be able to connect combos and dodge while at it. And ive played GW2 for about a year X.X so ive compare the 2. Not bashing on the game or what but just wanted to put it out that there are MMO that have higher base skill then GW2. Especially the new ones.

1. Increase the amount of players allow on EB by 100% muhahahaha =P
2. Weaken the amount of damage dealt to Gates by 50%-60% Only affects players to avoid fast PVD.
3. Give players stats buff when inside own towers or keeps by 50%, and health increase by 100%. (keeps ya safe when outnumbered) XD
4. Limit amount of players from other server allow on your boarderland by 20% XD
5. Allow players on ones server to vote for which server they want to face next week (majority wins) XD

Heres a question I’ve been thinking about. You guys said removing WP would help balance servers in population right? I think that would be great idea, but i cant help having a bad feeling that what if it backfires? Like ends up making a server more stacked? Ok in real life world you can’t break down a gate like those with just bare hands and sword, but think again Tyria is a world of magic also fantasy. In a magical world anything is possible with magic by your side. So it does make sense that a Gate can be taken down by a single or group of beings. Swords can be empowered or enchanted with magic to be able to cut through something it wasnt able to. =P

well i cant really say that one is better then the other since there will always be someone with a different opinion then me, but for me i stick with Warrior, my reason was its got both offense and deffense but that is just me their are other classes you can go with. I can only give suggestion of Warrior, but a gaurdian isnt so bad either it just all depends on yourself. So ill say Warrior since its got a mix of almost everything.

Anet should add a friendly mode for those like us that only want to PvE in WvW. Make it so that when I activate the friendly mode, I’m put on a friendly PvE WvW map where everyone is allied and there is no siege or supply.

Then I could finally, do my JP, get the POIs and Vista, do gathering to heart content and farm PvE mobs.

Maybe add some dynamic events where every 5 minutes, a group of NPCs will the camps, every 10 minutes they attack the towers, every 20 minutes they attack the keeps and every 30 minutes they make a huge attack on SM.

This would be the perfect WvW for me!

Dude you guys got a big enough map to PvE. So go back home. If you can’t take the heat then get off the maps and stop taking up space in WvW. It’s a place for war not PvE bunnies hopping around chasing butterflies.

Id say we should push them PvErs who refuse to go WvW or step into it onto another server. Cuz they are just taking up space. :P that’s my opinion.

The vote is a warning shot across Anet’s bows. Most players either don’t like RNG boxes or don’t care about them. It’s ok that they’re there, some people like gambling, but the vote for Kiel was mainly a vote against making RNG any bigger than it is already in the game.

i.e. even when sweetened with what would have been more interesting content lore-wise, the players voted against.

Both characters were really under developed but yes given the fact that more players like humans and least made race is the charr it was already a bad start. That with waypoints vs keys and no idea what the fractals they promised would look like. It just wasn’t a well made election their was no campaign, the characters never really explained their message, and we have no idea what either was gonna do for the story of gw2.

Wish they would have released Evons short story as a cut scene in game I liked reading it but i doubt anybody really knows about it.

Oh, I almost forgot about this thread. Thanks for all the answers, some are really helpful.

You know, after playing around for a while I can tell that the biggest part of the problem is me being unskilled.

So after frustrating experience with thief I’ve rolled a guardian – somewhat an easy mode but I still had my share of defeats. Anyway I’ve leveled him to 25 without much trouble, learned a great deal about game dynamics, mechanics, builds etc. After years of WoW and WoW-like games GW2 is the most innovative game on the market, just about everything is different, not to mention that fights are much faster.

Talking about speed, my next toon is elementalist. That’s where you’ve got to move your butt lightspeed or face quick and violent death! But when you know how to do it right you have tons of fun.

Of course I’ll return to my thief some day, just hate to leave stuff unfinished. I think next try will be much easier.

Still I think PS difficulty is a little too tough especially for lower levels, it’s rather noob-unfriendly.

Maybe it should be like in LotRO, when you pick up your class the game tells you: this is good for beginner, this class is advanced, etc. I’d marked guardian and ranger as beginner friendly, thief and elementalist as advanced and so on. Would make a noob’s life a bit easier. Gaming is about having fun after all, is it?

In Fact Thief is a good PvE class if you lay the cards right, no matter if its you fighint a group of mobs you can still win at easy. for me i tend to burst everything down fast and i went full damage for my thief in terms of giving up all my survial skills but that only depends on if you have the ability to survive without them, or confident in your play style. Thief is a awsome class even though my first was a warrior but its a class id reconmmand aswell.

i think it upscales to current level i dont know havent try it out before test it yourself.

hmm i think elementalist is stronger in fighting mindless mob, in terms on compareing to thief, you guys can handle groups of mobs easily where as a thief we are more of 1v1 or 2v1 type. I know the NPC are useless thats why you put them to good use, like how i use them for meat shields only, thats the only useful thing they re useful for. You should be able to take out the mobs before the npc dies or take most of them out. Just got to use the running tactics let em chase you and spamthos AOE.
