I don’t know why you had to make this post so long, it’s pretty obvious that 10v10 is 10 possible points and that doesn’t change for XvX.
And as above poster said, you’re theory falls flat as there’s no time to finish when you’re under heavy pressure in a GvG. Safe finishes excluded.
Still no QoL buff for minis, wish they did something :/
You need to reach 4000 supply first :O
(jk, i know how it works)
My mistake. Meant to say P3 in AC.
P2 is terrible.
P2 isn’t terrible, people are just completely incompetent at the last fight which is by the way one of the best boss fights in the game.
So basically: Lord room fights where the lord goes up and down a few times a fight are going to become rather lucrative.
I don’t actually think that a rezzed lord give loot.
Might be wrong though.
You are wrong, they give loot every time they die. Who knows how that works with champion bags though.
Twist: Logan gets corrupted by Jormag/Kralkatorrik and murders Jennah.
Probably just her being humorous. She seems to have that kind of attitude through the dungeon (“See me push a button!”). Or maybe she dated a charr in the past?
That could only go wrong o.O
Though charr certainly aren’t the ugliest race out there.
What do we know about her and why is Subject Alpha only the second ugliest thing she’s ever seen? This keeps me wondering.
As an avid CoE runner I’m a big fan of her and it would be cool if anyone picked up anything outside the dungeon ^^ (or something interesting inside)
Before you assume that you won’t be fighting horses of monsters or face difficult challenges, I urge you to try the content when it releases. Just because its a festival doesn’t mean we’re telling the same story or using the same type of content.
You don’t tell stories. You mumble half sentences that lack context and punctuation.
Why would I want to give this festival a chance when I have been severely let down by every single content patch thus far?
Then don’t try it if they’re letting you down so much. There’s seriously something wrong with you if no patch so far was compelling to you, maybe this isn’t the game for you.
Try high price sigils, as suggested above by Charak, the exotic weapons usually sell cheaper than the sigil itself + you get ecto from them
That would be a VERY odd bug, something like this doesn’t just happen through an oversight.
I tried but I gave up after 5-10 letters, there’s just no spaces in between and some of them are seriously hard to decipher. Thanks for going at it WarriorOfAsgard
Why are condition phantasms so completely overshadowed by power phantasms?
With condition phantasms I’m referring to Warlock and Mage, while power phantasms would be Duelist and Berserker (even though Duelist is useful in condition builds via traits, but not by default).
Both condition phantasms have a fairly slow moving projectile attack with a crappy range which is almost guaranteed to miss the first hit if the target is moving erratic at all and you’re not in melee range when casting (which you probably shouldn’t be).
On the other hand, power phantasms are much much better. The berserker pretty much always hits the target, does very good single target (especially against a wall/obstacle) and also heavy aoe DPS. The Duelist’s Projectiles track the target even when stealthed and it’s so many projectiles that you’re almost guaranteed to get a few in.
So can we get some love for condition phantasms please? Right now they’re barely worth the casting time except for shattering them right after.
Common sense idea that should really be implemented!
So I found these writings in the Order of Whispers hidden base in Ebownhawke, anyone have an idea what language they may be in?
I wonder why they added them in the first place, to deliver on their idea of adding content constantly to the world?
The problem is AC is still hard even for experienced players if you bring all level 35 characters with AC rare gear. New players will have blue to green gear, maybe not up to date, and not know the mechanics.
Would really be awesome if the devs got to read this, hope it’s not too much work to implement
So as a mesmer I like to switch between Inspiration II and IV traits (glamor cooldown and condition removal on heal) and I’m sure many others adapt their traits based on the situation. Right now you have to press ‘H’ (or whatever your hero menu hotkey is), click the skills tab and click on traits, since there is no way to set a hotkey to ‘traits’. Another problem with this is that it fills up your whole screen and you probably still want to see what’s going on around while just changing a few simple traits.
Imagine you have to do this for changing your utility skills, that’s a lot of work, isn’t it? So since we have these nice arrows above our utility skills, I thought we could have something similar for traits.
My idea would be, add the trait icon that appears in spectator mode when you click on a player somewhere around the skill bar, so you can click it and a miniature version of your traits pops up. There you can change any of your traits any time out of combat and it’s just 2 clicks away!
Let me know what you think
Question on the requirement be in WvW in primetime, do you have to be online and in WvW from 5-10pm pst every day or just regularly during that timeframe and not the full 5 hours?
Risen Squires in Orr inflict a cripple with their charge that has no duration and that kittens you over pretty bad if you’re running around without condition removal.
Lol dude you are ridiculous wait for the patch notes to unleash your rage at least.
That’s why you’re still posting here right xD
Please fix this.
Haha, pretty funny how this turned out. I like the change to Crystalline Dust, the price was way out of control and I’m glad they fixed that. I do believe how ever that other T6 mats should be tied to Ecto prices as well, as Mystic mentioned above.
The cornfusion is here.
I guess the clover recipe is a semi-viable way to do this, but as someone on reddit pointed out (http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/1fz00a/best_way_imo_to_acquire_t6_mats/caf823j) if the price for the t6 mats isn’t high enough and/or you get unlucky, you lose money. It’s sort of like the rune/sigil gambling.
I want less gambling in this game and more guaranteed ways of getting things.
So this is the idea I came up with that could help normalize the market for endgame materials. Since ecto prices is going down below 20s thanks to world events and dungeon rares and are now worth more less than half of Crystalline Dust, I feel this would bring the endgame market in a state that is less frustrating for players. There are clear cut ways of obtaining ecto that everyone knows about. However with T6 mats, which you need 2000 of to make a legendary, there are very few farm spots that don’t have a very good yield and are vastly inferior to CoF1 farming, which leads to high prices if people would rather farm gold to buy them instead of farming them.
So my suggestion would be, introduce a simple vendor that allows you to buy any T6 mat for the price of 1 ecto. What do you think?
I don’t see why they can’t share a draft of their new ranking methods here so the community can give some thoughts on it…
I must say I disagree with his reasoning on #12, because anyone can go to the WvW home borderlands for free for bank access at the crafting vendors. It is not as obvious, it’s still free though.
So either they should put it in the mists too, or move crafting stations out of WvW. Consistency is key here.
Ectos stay on 25-30?? They’re just below 20 now and I don’t see them rising cause of a (disputably) ugly backpiece that you can upgrade.
Supply is just through the roof until they rework CoF/the magic find buff gets taken out.
Please give us -useoldlauncher back, please!
Please bring it back ArenaNet! At least the chroma hash
Oh, that makes sense, lol. Didn’t even think of that
Well thanks for the clarification!
Why is it in New Krytan though while it’s lying around inside the Ascalonian Catacombs? That’s kind of strange.
http://i.imgur.com/Z8u6z9G.jpg
It’s in New Krytan.
I’ve tried translating it, but from what I got it doesn’t seem to make any sense…
The last word comes out to something like YLOASIH with my translation skills so I gave up and figured I’d ask here.
Can anyone make sense of the title?
I have a hunch that ArenaNet will increase the availability of dust in the next patch as the changes to event scaling unintentionally lowered its supply to the playerbase.
So, sell your dust now while it’s hot.
This is reaaaally funny to me. It mirrors exactly what I was thinking when I was below Fractal level 5. As you go to higher levels and become more experienced, you start to want to have that fractal because many others are just so long and tedious, while this one can be done easily with 3 half way skilled people. Which at higher levels everyone should be.
So yea, read Dulfy’s guide for a little bit, and even try to explain some basic mechanics (like you can actually see the traps when you look for them) to your party and you should be fine. Most swamp runs take 10 minutes max for me.
Since my main server is different from my Guild’s main server (for WvW reasons), I go there to guest for guild bounties. Unfortunately when I’m guesting I can still only see my home server’s chapter of the guild, so I can’t see the influence, upgrades, and guild missions going on on the server I’m currently guesting on.
I’d be really happy if you could change this so you always are part of the chapter of your guild on the server you’re currently on. I’d love to be able to earn influence for my guild on the server I’m guesting on, instead of earning for my home server.
Only makes sense from a consistency standpoint and also further lowers the artificial barriers that servers create.
No! It’s to easy to gear my characters! Make it harder again so I can complain about grind!
/facepalm
Bought an unbreakable bell due to some website’s tip before wintersday ended. Price ended up going down 15 gold.
Maybe this is commonly known, but I just noticed it and thought it was interesting.

You need to turn your head to the left to see it (Orr is on the tent’s right side).
CoF p2 is easier than before, and costs less silver for repairs TBH.
nino you’re talking about Giganticus Lupicus.
These very well do exist in the game. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Giant
Just wondering if I should sell off my stock since it’s triple of what it was a month ago.
If you give everyone a speed boost (maybe 25%, so there’s still a reason to talk to the nectar/speed boost guys in the towns) when they wear town clothes, there would be a lot more reason to wear them in towns! Everyone would use them and there would be no more reason to keep shouting “Save yourselves!” in the middle of town.
The speed boost can of course be town only, to make them “town” clothes.
Please add this simple suggestion, it would be for the better of the concept of town clothes
Oh god, please no.

Don’t tell me you want your horses to look like that face.
99% sure it’ll happen, they said they’re in the process of designing the system.
