A thought occurs…what if the devs are being so silent on the berserker front because they are doing heavy reworks or perhaps a complete overhaul. I was reading the patch notes and the fact that there was nothing for berserker not a single bullet of information struck me as more than odd. Maybe they didn’t change anything in the oct 27th patch because the spec was getting a major overhaul and changing a trait here or a bug there would be meaningless until they finalize the spec. I don’t think the devs would actually abandon one of their classes. So until Anet digs the grave and explicitly tells us we are getting buried next to dungeons I’m holding out hope.

I agree with this. When HoT arrived, I was very disappointed that the warrior/berserker issues weren’t addressed. However, I quickly got over it by shelving my warrior and playing something else. I’m having a lot of fun playing reaper in the new content and it’s also been quite enjoyable running a revenant through some of the old PS content.

Forget warrior/berserker; play something else and enjoy the rest of the fantastic Heart of Thorns content!

I still enjoy warrior. wont shelve it just because its not as great as some of the other things you can play. I’ll just keep my finger crossed for the balance patch just before leagues are released.

If only Devs looked at the warrior forum.

So when I do certain story missions some cut scenes just wont load and all i see is a black screen with dialogue played at a delay while other cut scenes play perfectly my drivers are up do date and the rest of the game plays perfectly.

Ok so I don’t know how to do it personally but the idea oh having a 3d model of my own character was so cool that I had to find a way to do it. So i noticed that there have been Consortium Surveyors and Consortium Planners all around lions arch now they seem to be planing something big like very big, given the fact that they are all spread out around the city. and I’ve been wondering what they could possibly be planning to build. any thoughts?

well we may suck in high level pve or whatever but i love and will continue to play warrior until the day gw2 closes its virtual door but hopefully they will address some issues in HoT.

Hello I am an RPer and I would like to know about the krytan marriage laws specifically how people are married where people are married and who marries couples as well as any customs or traditions that need to be followed. Any info you can give would be greatly helpful.

honestly as much as I wanted her sword at her death scene my first thought was (as the scene starts) oh wow that’s sad…….is anyone going to cut her down? (scene goes on) seriously she is just hanging there…(scene is about to end) ok apparently we don’t care enough about her to cut her down I guess no one will care if I loot he corpse.

I honestly think that a compromise can be made between personal story and Rp stories.
I’ll use my human guardian as a reference. The day he decides to explore the world is the day he finds himself in the starter area he fights the earth elemental and beats it this gets him noticed by Logan who while not recruiting him asks him to do jobs that he or the seraph couldn’t handle alone. through these deeds he is noticed by the orders(at this time all he really wants to do is explore and is rather annoyed by the interruptions.) He in the end chooses the priory at the promise of being able to explore the world. After his adventures with Sieran and his friendship with her (they are kindred spirits) they are pulled into the invasion of claw island where (SPOILERS) Sieran dies. Feel both pain and anger at the loss of Sieran my guardian swears vengeance on the dragon and with the meeting of Trahearne leads to his joining of the pact while he is the “commander” I consider it nothing more than a glorified sergeant that happens to know Trahearne a little better than most. So my guardian fights where he is ordered leading his squad(s) where he is told very little is exploring to be had and the little fun he does find is often spoiled by the death of his men and the rotten undead. Eventually through many hard fought battles he reaches arah and tackles Zhaitan yes he is on the big ship (forgot the name XP) and yes he shoots cannons at him (utterly unimpressed that the dragon’s minions offer more of a fight than the dragon) after the battle he asks to leave the pact in favor of exploring the world and it is granted. At this point my guardian interacts with other RPers. Taking the LW into account he is initially attracted attracted by the mystery of the events that occur but as he gets more and more involved the more he feels obligated to help not only out of duty but soon he finds himself wanting to help and thus he is happy in his merry group of adventurers commonly know as DE 2.0. ( I should note he has never once seen a slyvari “child.”)

So I was playing the other night and a guardian joined the group and lived remarkable better than I in terms of surviving and while he didn’t do as much dmg still did a good amount I asked him about his build but all i got was that he was dungeon puging a ham/gs I assume he was useing knights but i am unsure of the points or traits can someone fill in the holes.

Its obvious that Rytlock will fail in this endevor of his, not only does it not work because of any number of reasons 1: He he not the King/Khan-Ur of Ascalon. 2: Why/how has he not tried this before, something must have stopped him from doing this in the past. 3: Look at this from a game-play perspective I don’t think that Anet would remove a whole faction from the game even if it is a faction limited to a few areas it the only way I see Rytlock succeeding and it not affecting the game is if its like Ryt: “Ah I have broken the curse now We can face Mordy” Adleburn: “Curses defeated by a filthy charr….PSYCH you broke the curse but now you gotta wait for the cleanesing to take effect and who know how long that will take. Well later kittenes! (lol kitten actually works there.)” so either he will succeed but the effects aren’t intimidate or he fails but I don’t see our ghostly pals going away any time soon.

Ive thought the same thing all Anet would have to do is change the VA’s of some of the characters and if it was a rather drastic change then just add in some excuse like with Zojja during an instance the PC gets to make a choice between giving her a well placed (and well deserved) kitten-punch or punting her like the little twerp she is and because of either the force or the pain her voice is permanently changed

OK here are a few of my theories:
I don’t believe that Caithe’s secret is attacking the the zephyr ship it just does not work in the time line however I do think that she may be tied to them. I think a few theories are possible contenders for the “secret.” Scarlet could have possibly known of glints child and be hiding it from the world to protect it even though its the child of a dragon that fought with the heroes it is still a dragon and there are a lot of people that hate dragons right now she could very well be protecting it and keeping it moving place to place via the zephers would be a good plan. the only thing that holds this theory back is that this is something that Faolain was supposed to not even know which (in my mind) suggests that that means this “secret” occurred back when they were still together.

Another thought is that Caithe could be murdering the soundless while I think the Malyck theory is working along the same path of thought I think its the wrong group thats being kiled. if Caithe does know how good ol Mordy affects the soundless she could be murdering soundless that she suspects of corruption as a countermeasure we all know she is ruthless to her enemies and wont hesitate to kill those that threaten the grove if she can kill the nightmare court she can kill possible “future Scarlets.” Again this suffers from the Faolain timeline problem as well as the fact till up to now the writing in GW2 is rather campy and while they don’t shy away from death and murder certainly turning one of the original DE heroes into a mass murderer does seem a little dark and extreme for them.

My last and least likely theory is that somehow Caithe has made contact with our thorny friend and and has turned traitor. Of this I have no proof the only clue is the knife wounds found on the guards at the crash site, maybe Caithe was helping whats-his-face escape and catch up to the master. Like I said I find this HIGHLY unlikely as Anet loves to leave clues about future events and this one has too few clues to be considered possible.

Not to be rude or anything. But you’re on your soapbox preaching like you’re top guard world and honestly, I’ve never seen your name before now.

On to the matter at hand – SoR is situational. Simple as that. Remember around release when SoR was the meta heal? I sure do. Then the transition to shelter happened but a few still stuck with SoR for a bit longer. I mean, even now people run healing breeze recently so dont try to preach about shelter being the only viable choice.

This game has been out for almost 2 years and I still see way too many people running arround with Signet of Resolve. While it might be the best choice when you look at it as somebody who just started the game or is still learning because the tooltip says it would heal for more than Shelter, it is actually much worse in almost every PvP and WvW and in most PvE situations.

The only times Signet of Resolve is better than Shelter are if you don’t know how to use the block because you’re fighting something you don’t know or there is just nothing to block (unblockable attacks from bosses, debuffs).

Shelter is the better heal in most PvE situations, you can block some 1 shots from bosses, you can get it through without trashmobs killing you during the cast, it is pretty hard NOT to block 4k damage or more as a glasscannon.

This applies even more to PvP; blocking stuff like Earthshaker, Mind Wreck, Signet of Spite or other avoidable stuff with Shelter means avoiding a lot of damage, saving a dodge while keeping the point contested and healing up. On top of that thieves and mesmers could easily interupt Signet of Resolve since it has a really obvious animation and people can see the Signet being on your bar. Shelter can only get interupted by own mistakes (running into a Line of Warding or similar stuff) and some unblockable stuff (Fear Me, traited Reaper’s Mark or Basilisk Venom with Larcenous Strike). This applies to both, DPS and Bunker Guard.

tl;dr: Signet of Resolve makes you look stupid. Use Shelter. Thank you.

sounds like you want to bunker my friend. An a-bomb of an ele getting your team down? No worries just hide in the guardian’s bunker and weather out that storm and when the rain and flames die down jump out and kill their kitten.

I would love to have my own house in GW2. When I played the broken mess of a game called Dragons prophet the only thing that kept me from quitting after lvl 50 was player housing. the housing system was incredibly fun finding and crafting new items for my house and making it look just the way I wanted i may have spent more money in their cash shop then any other game just because I had so much fun with it. If GW2 added player housing I swear I would never log off.

Here is what you do:
1. Put your copy of guild wars 2 into your Xbox.
2. Once you have done that each of you take a controller of your choice and start pummeling each other with them.
3. After both your faces and controllers are sufficiently bloody take your Xbox (with Guild Wars 2 in or installed on it) and throw it out the nearest/highest window available to you.
4. For the final step go back to your COMPUTER and download guild wars 2 and follow any of the above suggestions.

I’d love to know how you can be sure a player is a bot.

Its very easy to recognise bots once you know what to look for.

They have certain behavoral patterns. The most common ones are:
- Never playing with any ally
- Not resurrecting NPCs or players
- Running away from Champions the instant they come in range
- Attacking invulnerable or obstructed mobs indefinitely
- Not jumping over obsticles or getting stuck
- Running bearbow Ranger or minion Necro

Except for attacking obstructed mobs and getting stuck( ok sometimes -_-) I do all this, :p

sadly RP is in a dark spot. While I have found other RPers randomly it is nowhere near as fun as the pre-megaserver days. Honestly the best method I have found to RP is to shout out in map chat, yes you may get trolls, but oh well. Right now we just have to hope that at some point Anet decides to pity us poor RPers and creates the RP tag/shard system.

So Its no wonder that the tengu would attack anything coming close to the wall especially during a full scale battle. Also its not like they shouted down before they fired “Hey you filthy human/norn/sylvari/asura/charr YOUR MOTHER WAS A HAMSTER AND YOUR FATHER SMELT OF ELDARBERRIES!” They were defending themselves not going out of their way to screw the players over.

also I have some suggestions on the shield try Kryta’s Embrace, as well as the Vigil’s Honor Shield, and the Guild Defender.

Very nice. The closest I have gotten to the master sword is the Ebonhawk one-handed sword…still looking for a good shield though.
