Happened to me too. Ported to Sparkfly Fen and the game went into pre-HoT mode. Changing maps fixed using the elite spec and masteries but not HoT map exploration which is now reset except for hero points.

Can’t wait for HoT! I can’t make the panel so would love to hang out.

We did 43 today for the daily and someone in the group, who is 43 personal as well, got a non infused ring. They were also at least 49 before the patch so I don’t think its a pre-patch level issue.

My group ran into the same problem last night. Unfortunately because of the holiday I wouldn’t expect there will be a patch for several days, so every lvl 37 group has a one-third chance of not being able to complete it.

Same here. Got it as the second fractal and never presented the option to continue.

Adding my name to the list. I checked all my characters where /age reports 12 months and none of them have gifts.

I’m also curious where these come from. If they are from mini set 2 and just misplaced in the collectables tab or limited time only from this patch.

Having Skyhammer in the solo queue map pool makes me not even want to queue into it. :-/

I understand the Elixir R change for PvP, but for PvE it’s now pretty useless. I thought I remember them having the ability to make separate versions of the skill for each. I think they should have used that here and left the stun break in for PvE where the downed revive isn’t as useful.

I really hope this wasn’t something unintended and is just missing from the patch notes.

I really think Anet just needs to throw out Mortar and Elixir X and give us two new eliete skills.

I find it difficult to imagine how Mortar will be more useful than just equipping a grenade kit, even if you are not traited into it. The projectile speed is it’s main problem. By the time the mortar lands whatever I’m attacking probably isn’t there anymore. In WvW, which I assume is the targeted use case for this, there are too few situations where it would be useful. Again the grenade kit or siege weapons will outdo it.

Elixir X has always just been a sad skill. Randomly borrowing one of two elites from other professions has always felt like an insult of sloppy design. Whirlpool is extremely good underwater, but not good enough to risk only 50% chance of getting it when I can just take the ever reliable supply drop.

Of all my characters, engineer is the only one where I never swap elite skills and use the same one in WvW, PvP, and PvE.

They will add a plethora of new emotes!

The skins on the TP are likely drops from the boss.

I have Quip for my pistol and do more PvE than WvW so I’d like to keep the sigil for my PvE build in my pistol. What would be the better of the two sigils that are recommended to throw in my shield? My instinct says Sigil of Nullification but I don’t have enough playtime wither either to really know how good they are.

Yep getting disconnected from fractals because of this is just unbearable. It’s making the game close to unplayable and then I feel like a dick for screwing over my group. Many threads on the issues and only candid replies from Arenanet.

Having the same issue and it’s getting very annoying. I get booted 2-3 times a day now and If I’m in WvW it’s even more frustrating. It started happening before I changed my password and changing it didn’t make any difference.

Is there are reliable way to reset an instance? If it’s only time based has anyone figured out how long it takes?

On several occasions when running a dungeon something has happened to the event where the group could not progress and we wanted to start over. Everyone dropping group and reforming and even trying to use a different person as leader never worked for getting a fresh instance.
