Scarlet became Soundless, none of the Sylvari you mentioned did that. But we will probably learn a lot more about this in HoT and I’m guessing the Pale Tree will play a huge role in the expansion.

Zhaitan is made of flesh so it depends on the Dragon.

There is no Mordrem Court, though. The devs have said before that mob was named that because of some kind of glitch.

The skills on the right half of your bar are tied to the legend which you are currently invoking.

Lets see if I can phrase this unambiguously:

When I am invoking Bob the Mighty, will I have a Bob-themed pool of skills to choose from when filling out my right-hand tray, or does channeling Bob the Mighty give me an absolutely specific set of 5 skills without variation from any other Revenant invoking Bob?

I realize the answer may be different for buttons 6 and 0 than it is for buttons 7, 8, & 9.

That is not set in stone yet and something we are deciding still.

As noted earlier in the thread if there isn’t a choice it appears the revenant will feature less customisation than other classes and may be quite inflexible.

There options really are the legends you bring which offer unique playstyles and skills, I can see your point though.

So its like a trade-off system if you wanna be a tanky be prepared to sacrifice your damage output versus if you go condition be prepared to lose your tankiness?

There will be quite a few legends to chose from. Maybe as many as there are ranger pets.

Mhh i guess switching legends will trigger weapon swap sigils if revenants dont have weapon swaps.

On swap sigils will trigger when you invoke your inactive legend.

Now that you’re here, let me ask you:

When you choose a Legend, said Legend unlocks you a single set of utility skills, 1 healing skill and 1 elite, correct? Are all these skills fixed on your bar (like Elementalist’s weapon skills are depending on which attunement you are)? Or do Legends just add new skills but these can be changed regardless of what legend you are using currently (within the two selected obviously)?

That wasn’t very clear to me when reading the blogpost.

What happens to racial skills though? Can they replace one of the legendary skills?

Of course you can use them. You can already level a class to 80 you never played before with tomes so what’s the diference with the revenant?
Of course, you really shouldn’t do that since you’ll end up with an 80 you don’t know how to play…

Will it resume with HoT? After HoT? Is HoT Season 3, but all in one patch?

Putting precursors on the Gemstore is basically “pay to win” something Anet will never do. And if precursors are “clearly cosmetic” what stops them from just selling the skin instead of the exotic?

Welp, this thread has turned into a bottomless pit of bitterness so it’s prolly getting closed pretty soon.

My advice to you is dodge! Press “V” on your keyboard or whatever you want to change it to on the “Options” Menu. If you learn how to dodge you can easily defeat enemies higher level than you (not too high though).

I’m glad someone caught it on tape or I would never be able to see it This is amazing ,like, seriously. This is awesome Anet! I would love to see a lot more of this but maybe more frequently so people could see it. I wonder if this happened with the Waypoint Vines…

Someone managed to get behind the 3 vine walls that block us from an area in the map and there seems to be some kind of altar there.

Catihe had to fight the centaurs. After Faolain attacks them, they defend themselves. It’s not like the centaurs knew Caithe wasn’t like Faolain. If Caithe didn’t defend herself and tried to “talk it out” she would have been dead.

I, for one, found it incredibly refreshing to play as Caithe (who is OP as hell). I mean we play our lvl 80s during the whole game. Why not change it up a little bit?

I think you’re making this up. I just checked out of curiosity and unless it’s on the cover of one of those books with writing in krytan so small that you can hardly read it, I don’t think this is there.

Stand back far enough (but not too far) from the books, and look at the colors. The darker books create a pattern that you follow which point to the only book with its unique color on the shelf. That book has the name.

/protip: work it out, it was fun for me since I noticed the floor on the upstairs library was actually a map, I thought it would be sneaky of Anet to make a similar pattern with the books. Haha!

Since we have an Acolyte of Dwayna Collection, why not one for Grenth? The items in Dwayna’s Collection have almost an exact pair with Grenth related items.

Example:

Dwayna’s Collection – Grenth’s Collection

Light of Dwayna – Shadow of Grenth
Wings of Dwayna/Feathers of Dwayna – Tear of Grenth
Dwayna’s Embrace – Signet of Grenth
Seal of Dwayna – A new item would have to be added.
Star of Dwayna – A new item would have to be added aswell.

Another huge break after just 5 episodes is a bit of a disappointment. I can’t imagine it takes 300 anet staff to tend to just 1 patch, even so maybe it’s time to hire more and expand, GW1 didn’t have these problems

It does take some time to make a new map from scratch….

And Nov 4 is when the Season will restart.

Sure, we don’t have any Living Story content until November, but we just had the Feature Pack which has content to last for at least a month.
If they follow the same model of this Season’s “premiere”, we’ll have Halloween (which is the equivalent of the Festival) for the month of October and then the Season will begin.
I’d love to have SAB for this month but, let’s admit it, it wouldn’t be possible.
