To clear things up i belive necros do not need 2 5 point minor traits with on kill effects/ Reanimator. I feel this is not needed. So clear up reanimator to a major trait? thats a waste but in all said give me clearer reasons behind so.
Well one tree has to be minion centric- For minion master would have no point.

Guardians just have alot of boons/ On small amount of boons use spinal shivers. When he pops Save yourself (when all the boons are up on the guardian) than you would want to pop Corrupt boons. Never earlier

I placed that as a test to see if there are any actuall independent Goood Necros. So i dont mean to come across as rude. But a small test can tell whose good and whose bad.

Yes projectile speed!!! i totally forgot aout that when i was writing, i iwll edit that in.
Reason being it doesnt have an attack speed buff, Because necros would just be able to obtain LF to fast.

Its actually only suppose to hit an enemy (if facing 1v1) 2 times. Because it bounces 4 times. Hits him,you,him,you.
But maybe “hits” than bounces causing the effect o bounce to the enemy 3 times.
Such as Him(HIT),you(bounce),Him(bounce),you(bounce),Him(bounce.

Put points into power.. focus mainly of stacking power Summon a shadow fiend. Let it hit medium golem. LOok at comparasion between Tooltip damage and Actual damage.

Yes but the 3 second stun would b eOP because no other class has anything for 3 seconds as a stun.
Though i do like the idea. I do play a power necro myself, and being upfront with melee classes is not a problem with me. If yoru using a dagger try enffebling first before going face to face. it certainly does help.
Well the problem with jewelry is that you do not want to give for ex POWER/CRIT/TOUGHNESS in one jewel because people would just stack toughness after that. No more glass cannons.

More life force you consume on a risk that you will gain more you will be granted a longer duration on your boons, Actually giving us necros the ability to at least have More that a1 boon stacking ability. and IF heals cast from Regen and Other teammates heals to Heal US Not be ignored while in DS. I do not know if this is hotfixed already

- Minor Traits
- Parastic Bond- We do not need 2 on kill effects. Rework/Remove or remove Reanimator.
- Major Traits
- 1-6- Spiteful talisman (II) – Changed tooltip of Spinal Shivers * Do not know if fixed*, And as well It should either has A % increase of DMG, or Of Effectiveness (for Ex. Spinal shivers chill time increases and removes +1 more boons, Regen Heals more of Reapers touch, stacks +1 vuln.) 2nd Option might need to be reconsidered.
- Spiteful Spirit: Either be moved to a minor trait and to be Switched with Furious Demise, That would grant more synergy with power. Increase on retaliation timer ex 3 seconds to 5 seconds
- 7-10- Training of the Master Moved to Death Magic and Add new major trait.

**Dagger Mastery-15% CD reduction. Everything is already on short cooldown. Why not a % Dmg increase or at least combine with Quickining thirst. - 7-10- Quickining Thirst- What effectiveness does this have? None. Rework/Remove, Vampriric Master Do not know if this heals as horrible as the others
- 10-12 Make Vampiric Rituals wells Heal the team, Much more utility added to necro play with that one move.
- 1-6 Fine vampiric Precision needs to be % healing off of crit.
Soul Reaping
- Natural Bonus
- As stated a few switches could be made but overall its good.
- Minor traits
- Fine IMO Last-Grasp- Doesnt provide Protection buff when hit under 50%, and (unsure*) if it breaks stun.
- Major Traits
- 1-6 Spectral Mastery- WE have 2 Spectral skills. Do we really need 12 seconds OFF 2 skills? How bout A New trait? Rework/Remove. Maybe even a 50% CD since it only lasts 6 seconds….. for ex spectral armor is a 90 second cooldown for 6 seconds… If traited puts on 72 Second CD, But only useful for Two skill…….(if stability is input into Spec Armor than 90 sec CD is acceptable.)
- 7-10- Decaying Swarm- Remove… This is just flat out Bad. Locust Swarm does no Damage. How about Decaying Life When hit under 25% gain 25% LF (and give an internal cooldown of 90 seconds) it will give us more survivability and sustain.
- 11-12 foot in the Grave- 3 seconds of stability in DS Is not useful. Rework/Remove. Necro players would not like to trait 30 points in for a tree for 3 seconds of stability. Maybe 10-13 seconds protecton is a better idea.

- No power ratio

- Very slow Attack speed increase attack spped so its not 1 attack every 2-3 seconds No Power ratio
- Bone Fiend
- Not putting out damage on tooltip hits for 188×2 on Medium golem- no power ratio.
- Bone minions
- They have a power ratio……………
- Flesh Golem
- Charge is not what the tooltip says Suggestion on fixing this is Make it hit for Tooltip damage + Power ratio to apply to each person it hits, instead of 230×2 on a single hit. No power ratio on Auto attack
- Spectral Grasp
- NO Base Damage at all. For example Guardian Great sword leash wit the same effect as Spectral grasp has Base Damage. And If im not mistaken a shorter CD
- Spectral Wall
- Not applying 10 Stacks of Vulnerability on Target
- Spec Armor
- Needs to Last longer/ Give Stability/ and be put on 60 sec CD not 90
- Healing Skills
- Blood Fiend Dies to easily
Skill Summary
- Most of our skills have Little to NO power ratio at all.That should be fixed.
- Minions Dont have a power ratio to there auto attacks/Special Skills.. Execpt Bone minions.
- Some of our skills just have no potential of being used if they only do the damage the tootip says. Understanding that Some spells will not have a power ratio Because it does condition Damage. But not even half have conditons that have no power ratio at all.
- In General We really Lack POWER ratios, HASTE, and STABILITY. Which it seems all other classes have.

Well To that point, DS is viable in all builds IMO, Why would you want to stack conditions in DS, Though it may be good. But imagine how slow the Condition stack to be. ITs general point is good utility/Sustainability. Nothing else IMO, Maybe some decent Dmg but nothing to over whelming.

Nice to see that there are people that understand a class that is terribly broke and can still be viable. Also nice to see that intelligence isn’t completely and 100% lacking on these forums. A suggestion for your guide though Tony, regarding death shroud. Don’t try to balance it around 4 abilities, try to make it something that may be a 4 ability skillbar, but one on which that has multiple choices for the slots, this way abilities can be balanced around multiple necro builds and not just be mostly situation between all the builds.
Well im making a rework Idea to balance necros in the state of pvp right now. My main idea i have for DS is to make it so its on our skill bar and AS well as add a new skill #5 to be a Life force consumer to give Boons such as fury/might/protection
With consuming life force. My idea will look like #5 Force of Power- 0-50% 5 sec buffs of protection/fury/might50-75% 8 sec 75-100% 12 Seconds. So we necros can atleast have some boon stackage going on. Even though i can alreday see people being WHY WOULD U CONSUME LIFE FORCE AT 100%. its because im in a teamfight where i already know im going to get life force and if im not using any why cant i use it for something thats potentially good.
Well, An interrupt is an itterupt and for all classes it should be at a 3-5 sec CD because of the interrupt But since the spell is a Channel a Interrupt Resets to Full CD.
Simply just a mechanic of the game. Only advice is just to play with it.

We are pretty broken. For ie I versed an ele today had enough healing power in water to go 20% to 100% had enough toughness to withstand my burst see my guide for info on burst and enough dmg to kill me no sweat. We are pretty broken because our traits/attributes do not synergyze decently. If I could stack toughness without losing required traits to still do dmg I would be fine, but when I need to get toughness/healing power/ most traits are minions/staff nothing to versatile play. Which is down right “broken”
Whoever says deathly swarm only transfers one condition go to an empty spvp game and bring an engi let him stack 3 conditions then use 4 it’s transfers 3 conditions. I know this for a fact

Soo soo true. The fact that we dont only lack stun breaks, But we also lack boon stacking. Which almost every class has some sort of boonstack.
WE lack Haste
WE lack stability
WE lack Lots of combo finisher:blats/leap/projectile We only have a few
WE lack synergizing traits
WE lack Condition damage to other classes
WE lack the ability to Stack toughness and still do good amounts of damage For ex. Ele/Mes
WE in general as a necro lack a lot of things.
Yes we get stability.
But we get no stability -stomp skills.
WE get DS but cant see what we have on us.
WE get minions that are a joke. *mesmer pets you can atleast blow up to stack confusion
Gosh dern we lack confusion. A great condition spell.
Gap closers is a iffy. Because Dark path isnt so bad.
We lack team healing, Besides a trait in life transfer. But ele’s get aoe healing out the kitty ( hehe a-net did it for u.). Great Burst potential. and we lack Invulnerability, *period of time in takign no damage, You can say DS is But compare to warriors/ thieves smoke stuff/Eles mist form/Engis Elixer S/Mesmers blurried frenzy/Guardans elite.
Theyre many thigns we lack. And we can only hope to fix.
But untill then A-net has trouble responding to us. Like i did in the sticky. IF you want us to follow your “post your guide here bla bla bla” Where are our hotfix patch notes/ Where are our buffs? Fixes to bugged traits. Not one patch has a detailed necro fix.
And on end-note why make a class to be not working to potential when gam erealeses. Eles dont seem to have a problem. But necros do. We have a limted amount of weapons/Limited amount builds that are some-what viable.
The real question is A-net what happend in our process? Seeing they dont respond to our posts is a big sign that they dont know what to do.
Even when things get complicated They hide away. We even MADE A LIST OF THINGS TO FIX. which is still not fixed.

Without Stability?…. Stability Shout? used when 2 people are down? 2 people dropped no prob. than the odds are muc hmore easier. And no hammer warriors cant gib that team. THAT my friend is theory crafting.
The first team posted is still working Comp wise, 2nd team we switch out guildies, but thats the usually comp we run. You dont need masses of stability you only need a few for teamfights, For security of stomp. AS for hammer warriors and eles, Do you know what happens when teammates combo blast inside wells? Area blindness, So pretty much everyone around us is blind/ Will be blind/ Continuesly blind due to combo blasts the team offers. IF your team is well coordinated you can make almost anything work. Though indeed needed a stability stomp is. IM sure soon necros will get one, and more combo finishers seeing as we only have a couple. and really none with our weapon sets. Stability Shout Hits everyone with Stability just incase you didnt know. Plus warrior and engi have there own. But aswell as my team has the same things your talking about “All those classes have stuns/knockbacks/blowouts and your team doesn’t really have access to stability, only a few stun breaks after they’re used.” So that doesnt really make sense. Still dont know why you didnt answer my question

Yes there should be. It is a down fight for us dealing with combos. Only thing we can do is lay out a Combo Field: dark. And while everybody else can lay theres, and utilize combos while we cannot
Why would you life siphon against a daze spell?

Its used as Burst As said wanting to lock down target/Hold node. Main source of Burst.
But not damage, carefully utilizing your transfer/Consume conditions/ Weakness/Chills;BoonRemoval (Spinal Shiver)/Fears/retaliation;Cripple/Vulnerability;Regen, With your auto attack damage/Life Siphon/Ghastly claws Can still make you feared without wells. I dont need Wells to beat Classes It just is a good source of potential burst/Boon Removal. Though you may not want to run it. And i have been Trying other builds without well focused For ie Corrupt boon/Spec Grasp/ Spec walk, Or Sig of power/corrupt Boon/ Well of power. only problem is that you really have no potential burst with these. Just good sustained/Boon removal

yeah i know sorry bout that. But “Everyone that’s in a line? Awesome. Everyone line up!” is indirectly calling me and idiot. So i decided to say it directly back towards that statement.
So let me continue my Counter arguements since im not in rush to attend my class on time.

Dont think i play more than one class? my main use to be a Warrior, but 100 blades just isnt my style
Ive played thief, not my style simply because #1 its not my wanted playstyle, #2 just didnt like the initiative style/mechanic.
Ive played Engi, But Again stated above not my style.

Where does support Dps come from. Thats conditionmancer.
2ndly The burst that I use can easily lock/takedown focus/ Holding points for a logner period of time.
To your earlier combat of stability stomp. Nothing a quick spinal shiver to Ds fear doesnt stop. AS well as i place wells on my teammates as there down to get rid of Such conditions as Stability and protection/, So My cc isnt ineffective.
IM pretty sure all of the abilities work… Some indeed though dont do as tooltip says it does, But still work. Just traits dont.
So if you multi class every class arent you missing 2? or do u have 2 + character slots?
IF i wanted to supportdps i would role ele because Support ele ofers Decent damage/ And as well as great healing potential.
To addition to a post i put on another thread which i believe sprawl stopped responding to. I fill A power/crit Role in my team in TPVP, We bring a condition thief, toughnesss/power/Crit Mesmser, Roaming ele, tanky/healing power Engi, And me The only Full power/crit on the team. And on my other team we bring tank/damage Guard mostly defensive, Super Tank engi medkit /toughness Roaming Power/crit Ele, and depending on other teams composition to Warbanner/cc War to Condition Ranger. My spot Fills in well with both teams due to blast/projectile finshers. AS well as Ele field stackign might. Its not just the fact that I’m Full poewr, But i do bring alot to the field. As such as Me and Super tanky engi can 2v4, Not being able to stomp one of course, But to atleast hoold node long enough under focused fire till team comes, And put them at decently low health.
So my Spec is implimented to my team, If we probably didnt have the guard i would run conditionmancer, BUT that is not the case.
So seeing that i Reply fully to your response, Reply to my questions asked Would be much ablidged, AS i see you do, But i would prefer this not to be on my guide Thread. For it is not For people to come and hate on. WE could gladly Start another Thread to Continue this. BUT i didnt ask for your Negative criticism in the entire build post.

To utilize it to the full potential i will always try to hit 2+ with charge. Yes Necros have no stability stomp.. Tisk tisk Factors we have to deal with.
Utility skills bring combo fields. To bad necros do not many finishers.
So whats your beef?
This is a guide thats Tpvp viable out side of condition. So whats your beef? Please your annoyingness is intrueging really. Why the beef?

And if you read correctly. Its not like im just dropping my wells on the ground saying HAR HAR HAR come into my wells, I actual use a combo that locks you in before unless insta cast remove conditions you can cast a condition removal. (with knockdown of charge) so My burst for me WHO HAS UTILIZED IT CORRECTLY. I rarely miss and if i do, its to warrior traited in Tactics, or a guard with insta condition removal/ Mesmer tele/engi condition remov. BUt i usual do a good job at stopping that because i know what their classes can do.
