I understand that it is not as useful as the other perma contracts but to my knowledge and gw2 spidy the postings have been pretty steady over 1k gold for quite awhile. The assumption that it is dropping so much due to returning players could make sense due to the DLC feeling so close to being here.
A couple days ago i recieved a Permanent trading post contract from a black lion chest which i then posted for 1,170 gold on the trading post. I was the lowest poster at the time with only 4 other posts above me. Now my item hasnt sold and there are a total of 12 posts of this item and the lowest selling price is 545 gold.
Was the drop rate of this item adjusted or are people just dumping it on the market?

It does a great amount of direct damage from the minions obviously but i find it nice to be able to dish out nice condi damage aswell.
On the condi side of things i have found it very pointless to run a staff now. In PvP i have been running scepter/ dagger and then scepter/warhorn.
Hm. I kind of prefer the new animation, from a visual perspective. My Charr always looked like he was flailing when he used axe before. Now it’s a bit more under control. I wish they’d put a stronger carry-through on the backswing to emphasize the second hit, but eh.
My God does it look kitten on a human…. it reminds me of the attack animations from RUNESCAPE.
So I had some guy rage at me for playing a necro, i jabbed at him with the pew pew ranger joke and he wasn’t happy about it.

Just due to the fact that death shroud completely negates a whole trait line (blood magic) it is terribly designed.
im tired of all the basic go to builds, Im really interested in a healing condi build. Any setups worth looking into?
Now that the ranger axe is finally getting looked at, will they be fixing the axes animation? Pretty lame that all of its projectiles are the default axe skin despite wielding a different skin.
Anything i could use this for? I prefer to only play power builds on my ranger and i dont play a guardian or an ele.
Would something like this be worth while to run in dungeons and higher level fractals?
I do not want to give up longbow because its fun to kill a glasscannon at range with 5-6 hits.

How can i counter this skill as a Ranger? Without the ability to use any of my immobs, chills, cripples, fear and only so many evades, how can i keep a warrior off of me? By the time this stance is up im usually below 50% health…. Please dont say “just kite him” because a warrior usually has 1 or 2 gap closers.
Is there anyway i could put some condi removal into this build that is reliable without changing my DPS output and survivability to much?

I dont like rolling without toughness so berserkers isnt an option, so which one offers more DPS on crits? I wouldve instantly picked Cavaliers before the ferocity patch but now im not so sure.
Will this combo ever be viable in pvp? If there are any builds that actually make this weapon set work could you please link them?

The guild [LIFE] which is relatively new (only 70 players all of which are active at some time of the day) pretty much does WvW 2-3 days a week. So im not sure if you would classify this as a WvW guild. We do alot of WvW but we do some PvE and TPvP aswell.

Just had a couple people tell me that the professions in this game are completely balanced. What are your thoughts in the manner? Personally i think it is not even near balanced and will never be so.
Ever since the feature patch i feel squishy as hell even when decked out with 2 points into death magic and the rabid amulet. I literally got dropped in a couple hits from a warrior because he used berserker stance and was immune to all my fears, cripple and blind.
Am i doing something wrong, or is this due to the new meta?

Thats what ive been doing, muddy terrain, quickenning zepher. The auto attack just doesnt do enough dps to pressure someone into trying to move out of the way and avoid my attacks.
They just stand there and take it while bashing my face in.
The only class i can kill with that combo is the thief…..
Why are my auto attacks so kitten low with the sword? i have 3k power and 200% crit chance for gods sakes….. I cant even kill a kittening tanky guardian with perma retal, i just end up dieing because i have no kittening spike damage.
If i roll with greatsword i do fine because of the 10k crits with attack of opportunity + maul but than i loose 2 evades and any source of swiftness besides my elite.
The only “fun” part about running such build is longbow sniping people in a zerg but im tired of loosing 1v1s i couldve easily won with my necro….

I would suggest off hand dagger instead of axe. Provides an extra evade, cripple,bleed and poison.
in my opinion off hand axe feals clunky with the sword.
I feel like cats need a speed buff or something because in spvp my jaguar rarely hits people and srsly who can outrun a kittening jaguar?

Im pretty sure its more beneficial to take a cat over a bird in a signet build because attack of opportunity only affects one hit.
People will always complain about our pets and im still to encounter the infamous brown bear that two hits people.

Why? Ele’s can do aoe damage to people and siege on walls that are out of sight, our pets would be doing single target damage. Pets are also supposed to make up something like 30% of our damage, I’d argue that it would make up for the damage handicap of having a pet.
Pet A can fly. Pet B can not. So, how much worse stats do you put on pet A to make their total value equal?

Birds are very squishy and I wouldnt be surprised if a warrior can 1hit it with 100blades so I dont think itd be to much of an issue.
Yup, jumping down a steep hill and having your bird just fly around and rejoin you when you have practically already lost a fight is very aggrivating. It would make them alot more useful in WvW if they could fly up to keep walls to attack your target.

Why not make siege weapons more valuable? Make it so they can be stolen and are mobile. However make it so a commander needs to assign a veteran guard to move the siege weaponry and a squad of players must defend the veteran guard and siege weapon to prevent it from being stolen or destroyed. There is also the issue of where would you put siege weaponry when it is not in use though, maybe make it so they can be stored in a keep?
Nvm adding such a skill instead of rapid fire would just promote auto attacking.
How about a heavy damaging shot that deal more damage if it interrupts a skill? or deals more damage if your foe is not using a skill?
