So most of my guild (10-15 active members) quit the game around 2013 due to lack of updates, we had it all, fully upgraded, did all guild missions every week.

I wanted to wait around a bit before making the final decision on purchasing HoT by just doing what I usually did which is running around in WvW, claiming & defending stuff but… “Your guild does not have all the upgrades required to claim this objective”.

Really arenanet? What are you expecting from me? spend 45 euro to buy content we already had achieved? gg.

Can we get some clear information.

Or is that too much to ask?

I’d submit video’s of what I personally think was the very best and most fun about WvW, which were the orbs.. but they got removed

WvW rotates, basically you’ll be red, blue and green at some point making map completion easy.

I’m not a fan of the map completion but WvW shouldn’t be a problem.

A similar issue here,

I cannot enter Eternal Battlegrounds. It just leaves me stuck in the loading screen until a pop up shows I was disconnected and puts me back to character select.
Other maps work fine.

Remove the achievement for breaking / repairing bridges.
All I see is people on our side break our own bridge and repair it over and over leaving our keep at 0 supply. What’s the point in rewarding something like this anyway?

So I went on and tried that out and it actually worked.

So, since this new updated launched I am unable to do anything. It simply leaves me with an error message. The first time I started the game it seemed to work fine, once I hit play the game started but I got to a BSOD instead of a character selection screen, after that the only thing I got is the message shown in the screenshot.

The question is; do I just sit and wait or is there a solution?

For some reason or another players are able to get on the pile of starting loot and take items before the game even starts.

Seen it happen twice now by different people and this guy for example in the screenshot picks the pistol and instantly gets a free kill without even competing over the item.

This ruined the game for me.

I rather take 400x the amount of damage in DS than have this change implemented.

Sure we could probably still survive jumping off cliffs in WvW (actual advantage) but reaching the bottom of rata sum (harmless if you ask me) becomes impossible. Yes, necro’s were able to absorb 1 powerful attack but that’s just 1 hit. I don’t see what’s so wrong about that.

The old one was clean and straight forward, the new one is too visual.

Thief used the stone curse venom stuff on me which confused my warrior for a bit.

I mean, my logic seemed to make sense…

The problem is the blue dots scale with your mini map, so if you zoom in all the way down your dots become small so everyone looks green. If you zoom all the way out they scale up and you’re able to see your party members locations, just not really accurate for locating everyone.

There is no automated banning system.
But if you send gold with just an empty message then you almost ask to get banned.
If you (and the ones who send gold to you) take time to make a nice message and send that with the gold, the moderators will see that it was not a bot/hacker/third party program who is sending gold to a specific target account.

We use the guild bank, why would sending empty mails be wrong though?

If they review my account when I send a ticket and they see it does not fit all of the criteria for the so called violation, why on earth did they not see this before they put me on suspended?

Another thing is I still have no clue what caused them to even think I fitted the criteria. How am I supposed to prevent this from happening again if they just block people out of no where? I rather have a moderator stalking me, reading chat, item logs and what not because I know I am following all the rules and they should know this before even doing something.

Suspending/Banning people in error is wrong and they should have very solid evidence before performing such action.

Now I know the policy and I know this isn’t the actual reason why I got suspended, I am pretty sure it has to do with transferring gold to other players and I think this is a serious problem if I can’t send & receive gold from & to my friends and getting banned over it.

I can not possibly imagine this is “human error” as that is what you claimed when everyone else got banned a while ago. Since I am currently suspended I can’t play GW2 but I certainly won’t later if there is an automated banning system going on.

Besides if this counts as my “first offense” for doing nothing wrong, what point is there in playing when I face permanent suspension for doing nothing wrong 10 times?

Party is broken 10/11 times when I start doing fractals with guildies, it doesn’t update who’s joining the party and things like that. Often I need to rejoin to see who’s in it.

I am always offline in guild roster according to other guildies even though I am on the online status.

It’s not just the dye’s you cannot preview, right?

I don’t know since when this started happening but it happens a lot lately.

When shooting someone, that is within range, it simple says “obstructed”. Person didn’t dodge, person didn’t block. There’s nothing in between me and the target but randomly my hits are obstructed.

This doesn’t always happen obviously but when it does it’s really annoying because I still get hit.

I doubt it has anything to do with the terrain as I am experiencing this on flat ground.

The match up’s don’t make a difference, who ever you fight will have the <server>&<invader rank> name. The actual boring part is WvW it self, it’s still the same.

When will we see different maps? Can’t borderlands have different maps? why are orbs still not re-introduced (with adjustments)?

Any info on Arenanet putting in more game modes?

And what game modes are you guys looking out for, if any.

Answer:
Yes, any “Enemy Player” can trigger the traps. This means that pets, clones, Npc’s, and ambient creatures CANNOT trigger the traps. This design was set so players wouldn’t put traps (especially the supply trap) on supply holds. Image if your zerg/small party didn’t have supply and went to restock at supply hold that had a few supply remove traps. As soon as the team has supply BOOM “Trapified” your supply is gone.

Well, I am pretty sure someone posted a video of them going stealth into a zerg that was picking up supply at a camp and placing a trap right in the middle. Several times.

I had to come up with a fancy title to make up for the lack off information here.
