Hey, I think you might enjoy the guild I run, Aurene Wardens.

We’re a casual/social focused guild and happen to use discord(because I’m a huge snob about my voice comm preferences). We’ve got multiple weekly activities where we get together and hang out. We’re not fully leveled but leveling has not and will not ever be a real priority since the guild is all about just having a good time. I should say most people in our guild probably/definitely don’t have T4 level AR or any LI(but we’re attempting VG for the first time this weekend!), but it sounds like that’s not what you’re looking for anyways.

Hi Skoll, if you’re still interested in finding a guild feel free to check mine out! We’ve got weekly PvE events that match what you’re interested in and are building our way to raids. Like everything else in our guild, raids will be fairly casual and a learning experience for almost everyone(even me, I haven’t done them before!). As far as membership goes I’m actually not a fan of guilds with full rosters either for the same reason. To give you an idea of our size, we seem to average about 10-15 during NA evening hours so it’s not too busy but not just silence either(depending when you play, but there’s usually a few on at all hours anyways). Sorry I’ve been busy the past two days and haven’t really been on! I’m usually on weeknights EST and weekends, though I’m busy this weekend so I probably won’t be on until tomorrow evening which is when we have missions. I’ll make sure to add you once I do get on.

Sucks about your other(main) account! I think I’d just give up if I lost this access to this account. I think my guild hits a decent number of your points so I figured I’d throw our name out there for you to decide it’s a good fit. I am the leader of Aurene Wardens. I’ll list our some points to match yours.

1. We categorize ourselves as a social/casual guild. We don’t kick for inactivity. Even I’ve stopped playing for a month or two at a time(before making the guild, I don’t have that luxury anymore). Right now we’re expecting to see a few member less/not see them for awhile once a certain other MMO releases a new expansion next week. We’re fine with that and get that there’s a life outside of GW2, whether it is IRL or some other game.

2. Right now we have no WvW activities as a guild. We do have a dedicated channel in discord where you can add your server as a role in order to find other players on your server who might be interested in joining you. WvW as a guild is something I’d like to make happen and when it does choosing a server and figuring out how to get interested players there will be a discussion.

3. Our guild was started in the beginning of February so we’re pretty new and our level is 10. I understand if that is a dealbreaker. If you are looking for a higher level/larger guild than ours I would like to recommend Æternal Senate, a guild we share some events with. Their leader, Dog G.6589, is really great and the guild has a lot in common with ours. Their guild level is somewhere in the 60’s last I checked.

4. My officers and I just started brainstorming ways to make roles fun and rewarding to members a few days ago, which will likely go into effect in the next week or two once everything is finalized.

5. Discord is the only thing I use, I refuse to use anything else. It’s also the reason I can’t find a WvW guild they all use ts3! But I probably won’t WvW much after getting Gift of Battle so it’s not a huge deal.

Hi, Selene! It sounds like my guild might be a good fit for what you’re looking for. We’re a social guild and generally like to have a good time hanging out together. We do weekly map completion/exploration which makes getting 100% a lot more fun and weekly dungeons. We’ve got a good mix of old and new members who are interested in either learning new content or helping other through things they might not have tried before. Hi, guild chat in my guild is pretty lively since we’re a social/casual group. We do have discord but it’s completely up to you if you join(recommended since most guild related info is found in there) or use voice chat(or just listen in if you don’t like to or can’t talk). We really only use it for explaining missions and teaching dungeons at the moment and again, it’s in our rules even, no one has to join voice comms.

Aurene Wardens [Aw]

We are a female driven, LGBT+ friendly guild that is open to players, old or new, joining us in our inclusive community where you can enjoy the game and build player friendships. There’s plenty of members around to answer new players’ questions or help catch up returning players on what they’ve missed. We have Gilded Hollow(level 22) as our hall and are working on building that up. We’d love to have you along for the adventure!

We have members across the globe, though most are located between EST and PST. This guild is very community based. We work together, help each other, and everyone is encouraged to step up to make it the place they want. You will get what you put into it, but that is completely up to you.

We run weekly missions and have events covering all areas of PvE planned for most days of the week during NA evenings. We are currently working to bring events to players in all timezones/schedules and are looking to start getting into PvP as a guild. If you have any specific questions on events, please ask.

FAQ

Do I have to be a girl to join the guild?

No, it’s definitely a plus but our doors are open to anyone who needs or wants a guild like ours. Everyone is welcome, but creating a space safe from discrimination and harassment for women and other marginalized groups is high priority.

Do I need to rep 100% of the time?

Nope! Guild representation is highly encouraged, but only required during guild sponsored and scheduled events. We just want to look like a team while we act like a team.

Are there any other requirements?

Not really, we have some rules(available to read on the application above) that members are expected to abide by but as long as you can do that you should be all set. We don’t kick for inactivity, you don’t need HoT or PoF, no server or timezone needed, we’re not recruiting for specific roles only, etc.
