Moreso than adding new telegraphs that a mob is about to use a special attack, I’d much much much rather they just add a particle effects slider. A lot of the time between fire and burning in particular, bosses just become a giant glowing orb lol

Since I didn’t see it mentioned in the notes was the exploit hole in the wall for p1 fixed or is fixing something minor like this more important?

Overall kinda liked the old AC better.
For stuff in all paths:
First complaint is the mega fps drops anytime there were burrows or a few breeders together was just slideshow. Normally get about 40fps minimum in p2 baiting for the traps, I dropped to 9 at one point since patch. furthermore I seemed to notice quite abit of culling where prior to the patch I can’t say i’ve ever seen that in instances.

Second complaint, knockdowns knockdowns and more knockdowns. I don’t mind when boss mobs have CC because it’s easy to see and dodge for the most part or pop stability, when trash has it is much more of an annoyance since its hard to spot one mob telegraphing a skill in a clump of 10 others. Doesn’t make the trash much harder just more annoying.

Spider queen is abit harder. Our pug’s lone wipe during a full clear was on her. adds could do with abit less health and damage in general seemed abit high but not game breaking and wipe was more to do with learning whats new I think.

Kholer changes that don’t really change anything. Was trivial before, and still so. Adds can either be ignored unless you get like necros, or blown up

Troll changes made him easier imo, his aoe seems to happen abit faster but once you adjust its not a problem.

P1: first bit with hodgins and the burrows between people getting knocked down from the gravelings and the fps drop/culling I mentioned earlier was abit annoying, ended up taking 3 tries cuz hodgy kept dying.
last boss was annoying just cuz of the CC from adds, fire circles to kill them is a nice plan but often times the rings were gone before the adds made it to them.

P2: basically the same as old p2 except the last boss which was buggy and felt kinda gimmicky. Issues with traps charging and the boss itself bugged couple times, ended up having to remove defiant and use a pull/knockback to get him back from his braindead state.

P3: probably easiest path now imo, like p2 same as old version cept last boss which is basically just stand under bubble when he does his roof shake or w/e if I had a complaint at all about this path its just the knockback he has since as a melee player such things annoy me lol.

Also sad to see spy kits and especially omnoms nerfed know they were both op but omnoms made several build viable that now won’t be. Hopefully yall can actually balance the classes now to what it should be without food tho.

These actually seem worse than the 12.11 for me. I previously had no fps issues, but getting noticeable dips/stuttering now.

Really really disappointed with the change. Had been using hammer and sword underwater since they help with our anemic damage there, only used the shield out of water. Now they are so useless they won’t ever see my skillbar again. And yea expecting them to get 10% more health in the next patch to “balance” them

Personally I’ve seen little to no evidence that loot rates have been returned to their pre LS levels. shrug

Amuses me that so many people are rushing to convert gold>gems NOW for the sales, paying double what they cost recently just to get 50% off thus negating the whole point of buying during the sale since the cost ends up being the same.

Yea seems to have been a major dropoff in rares in particular but also green/blue armor/weps to a lesser degree since Lost shore patch. Thinking someone misplaced a decimal point.

Personally I have enough faith in them I don’t need a statement to reassure me of…well anything really.

As far as ascended gear I don’t see what all the complaining is about really, there was already stat progression ingame. Would I rather see cosmetic gear over stat gear? Maybe. But just because there is another tier of gear doesn’t mean you HAVE to get it or you’ll be cut out of 98% of content. Just like if you don’t have full exotics doesn’t mean you can’t run AC exp etc in greens. Does it make it easier? sure but it’s hardly required. The only place ascended gear is sort of required is high tier fractals and while it is a gear gate I’m ok with it since you can still experience the dungeons and get a decent amount of loot from the lower tiers if you are a casual and still gives something for the hardcore grinder.

I’ve seen quite a few WvW players in particular complaining about having to pve to get ascended gear be able to compete. And while the first 3 items are obtained by pve they have also said afaik that there would be ways to acquire them in WvW but they are working on revamping WvW rewards as a whole right now
and I do expect them to be obtainable without pve. So long as the time to acquire them is consistent with the pve method I don’t see a huge problem.

As for the Lost Shore event, while it wasn’t perfect(loot was too rich from the chest,non US players got the short end of the stick abit,and lag was an issue at points) I give them credit, they tried something new, not everyone loved it but they put it out there and got to see what works and what doesn’t, I’d rather they do that then release the exact same type of content over and over till it’s mind-numbingly stale.

In the end I feel they do enough to communicate to not be alienated from the players. Some games I’ve played you’ll never hear an answer from a dev about anything… ever. I’d rather they spend their time working on the game then spending their time on the forums responding to every single post, holding peoples hand telling them it’s all going to be alright and that they are working on a build that will magically solve everyone’s concerns and are actually accomplishing almost nothing. Oh and lets be real, the majority of people who post on the forums not just in this game but every game are the vocal minority. If devs did everything the average forum poster wanted they would hand out 1000g for logging in and every class would have a 10000range aoe oneshot :p

Honestly the only two things that bug me about getting a legendary are not enough places to farm lodestones really, and the randomness of the precursor.
I don’t want it to be cheap. I don’t think it should be something everyone one has, that negates the purpose of it almost entirely.
I’d rather grind 1000 of something and know with a high probability I’ll get what I set out to get than grind 100 of something that only has a small chance to achieve the desired result and put it in the hands of the rng and have to do it again… and again

Been randomly kicked a few times in past couple days for incorrect pw aswell. changed pw to a new random 15character pw with uppercase/lowercase/numbers/special char twice and scanned PC with avast,eset,malwarebytes and TDSSkiller which all came back clean plus no login attempt emails so it’s most likely something on ANet’s end rather than something nefarious.
