Ive tried the lowest settings and it only increases fps by 2. Max i get is like 15, i already said that in my first post
So I haven’t changed anything to my computer, I last played during the holidays and have no reinstalled the game and tried MANY different things to try and make this work.

AMD FX 4100 Quad core processor 3.6GHz
8.0GB
64-bit Windows 7
Asus HD 7870 Graphics Card
Anyways, I could run this game on pretty much max settings at 60fps. Now I can barely make 15 and it’s driving me crazy. I’ve done so much to my computer the last couple days and it still hasn’t fixed anything.
I’ve tried defrag, viruses, reinstalling, updating drivers, changing settings (which in game doesn’t make a difference in my fps, even lowest settings are still 15 tops), and a few other things. I’m at a loss here
I change my build quite often. Right now I’m doing 0/2/2/0/3 traited for using spectral skills and death shroud. I use axe/warhorn and sceptre/focus although I sometimes swap that one out for the staff.
Hey, I’ve been playing a lot of WvW lately and one thing I’m having trouble with is pvping. I just lost a really long fight to another necro where he had full health at the end of it. I don’t know how he survived so long. I Just feel like I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to pvp.
I find I do better in groups but sometimes I run into these smaller skirmishes where it’s 1v1 or 2v2 or something like that.
Need more people to take this thing out, I’m trying to organize people to come to Ehmry Bay. So far we have… very few. If anyone can help with a large guild that would be great! I still need the achievement and apparently this is the last night to do it!
Also looking for Lich attempt.
Was in a zerg going for achievements in Stormbluff Isle but couldn’t even scratch this things HP bar. I don’t know what the strategy is for this =/
I’m sure this has been discussed many times before, I searched for a while trying to gather info but still can’t decide. Plus most of the stuff I read is from months and months ago. With the way the economy is now, what do you think is more useful? I don’t run dungeons very often, I want to do FotM for the ascended rings but that’s about it. I mostly do dailies, some WvW and progress my map exploration. If I were to do farming it would be following a champion train.
I think necro needs more stability so I’d say to add a grandmaster trait for spectral skills to grant stability for 3~5 seconds.
Anyways I like a lot of the ideas already. I couldn’t agree more about fixing death tree. MM is cool and all but some of those traits give amazing bonuses for other builds but then makes the minion related mini traits useless. Jagged horror is awful btw.
I was just thinking about whether that trait worked for knock downs or not. Now I kind of wanna get it. I’ll go test it out.
So I decided to try a new character after playing solely Necro for quite some time and I noticed the cooldown of pretty much everything were much MUCH shorter. I was playing around with a few of my other classes and then went back to Necro and thought; is it just that Necro has really long cooldowns?
I mean sure we can spec into reduced recharge but that seems like such a waste when there are many other things we need. I’m sure all classes have their own problems but I kind of want to start working on an Elementalist now.
I run staff and axe + warhorn in wvw traited for spectral skills and terrormancing. Locust swarm marks and life blast tags everything you need and spectral walk lets you keep up while spectral grasp is instant death on anyone it hits. Finally, i like bringing spectral wall for blocking escapes or stopping people from chasing us. Probably not the best build out there but i like it. Its fun to use.
Necro
Improved death shroud. Give us more than 4 abilities to use in this form and have them change depending on the equipped weapon.
All i really want is for death shroud to have skills on the right. Like secondary effects for our current skills. I feel like i should at least be able to have minion commands.
New weapons sound cool too but i really want death shroud to be made more fun to use.
I’ve yet to try this event but I really want to. So I guess my problem with it is that not enough people want to do it. I’ve checked out the area many times but no one was there. I wish more people were around to do group events and tequatl.

I don’t know what it could possibly be talking about. I haven’t tried to purchase anything nor have I gotten my password incorrect. I just came back to play after a long hiatus.
So i find these two skills incredibly fun to use for the teleports. I just dont see them get used that much and i kinda wonder “why?”. I was playing some random pvp match where i just kept juking people with it and then attacking from long range with marks. Worked really well in those chaotic matches anyway.
Just wondering what other necros think of these skills
I just got through this part and it was really sad.. Tybalt was by far my favourite character that i got to encounter but somehow, i just knew he was going to die. I just wish it wasn’t so soon. There are so many more quests i want to do with Tybalt! :’(

Same here. I was overwhelmed by GW2 when i started 9 months ago, i quit and just came back now. Apparently traits changed? I dunno what all is different but i think the wiki has a list of updates. I just couldnt be bothered for how much time has passed.
I’m in the same boat as you. Was about to post a similar thread.
