I never tried to get a precursor but have full ascended gear. I also worked really hard to get my wife the infinite hair style kit and finally bought it a week ago.

Just gotta set a goal and do what you enjoy and go for it.

Also I made all my ascended gear from scratch. Took a while but I spent very little gold.

I play a tomboy female asura and I want her to wear the male asura tuxedo. Physiques are already identical between male/female Asura/Charr, the dress is already 1,000 gems, and GW2 is already extremely SJW-friendly— shouldn’t this be a no-brainer for a company that absolutely loves playing the social justice card?

People want it and it’s just as non-intrusive as, say, Sya or Lion’s Arch being glassed by the Consortium into a theme park. What more is there to debate?

Lots of MMOs are f2p and Wow charges a fee. So the value is completely based on people’s perceived value. Which for the money a lot of people don’t think its worth it.

see i dont see that as a issue myself, because we havnt actually seen all of the new expansion, just highlights of the different things coming into the game overall, we havnt been shown anything which would actually say exactly how much content ur buying into.

WoW – £9.99 a month + £40 a Year… 120+120 = £240x3 for 3 years.

Wildstar £40 (no Expansions were released) + £9 = 108 + 40 = £148x3.

Now to run into F2P games

EQ2 – Paying for classes = £20 each, (2 classes atm) Races = £10 fdor vampire and £20-£40 for Drakken so £40 minimum so far.. Mercs require Payment of £10, Reforging = £10 now £60

Sub isnt required but u lose out on a few things not having it… so to Benefit 100% of what they can offer due to locks on exp weekends etc etc u’d have to pay. + £34 per expansion..

Thats coming to like £100 to access everything + £9

i mean Guild wars 2 by far is the cheapest investment of MMOs… and In comparison to other forms of entertainment on the majority MMOs as a whole are cheaper, so i feel like u cant really accuse GW2 for ripping people off, they are charging u alot less.. for the exact same amount of stuff any other MMO generally delievers in expansions in todays prices.

I think its good that new players can get the full game for the price of the expansion, it keeps the community from fracturing, everyone new will have the same access. As a guild leader I dont have to worry about incoming players not being able to join us in the expansion.

I work for my money and I have plenty for the expansion. At no point did I demand they give me any more than anyone else. I simply want the same or similar for my money. If they don’t want my money that is fine, then they won’t get it.

ok let me give you a better example. If you buy a car for $20k today, then two years later a new version of the same car (the base game) is being sold for $15k, but this new model comes with better seats, improved headlights/braking whatever (the expansion). Were you ripped off? No you were not, you have used that car for two years as a mode of transport. You got to use that car to go to some one-off festival last year that will never happen ever again. You got to use your car to go on a road trip with some friends, if you didn’t have that car you would’ve had to rent a car or go hitchhiking instead etc. In the same way the game has given you x years of enjoyment. It allowed you to enjoy content that is one-off and will never come back. You have got your money’s worth in the form of experience.

What about the people who bought the core game 2-4 hours ago and paid $40? Did they get their money’s worth?

I once played the lute while in a lane of VineWrath, while the commander angrily stared at me.

The problem is all other stats are ignored when doing dungeons and other events. Toughness has a viability to it in WvW and PvP as taking damage may be unavoidable. Healing power needs to be buffed as it has little or no viability in its current state.

It’s a problem of enemies who kill you in 1 hit, ignore everything, and will only die when they take enough standard damage.

The female norn has clipping occur in the armpits when using “Heart of the Koda” armor.

It makes the character have a small hole in their armpit which is most notable with any gesture raising the arms.

Going to add mine to this one because it seems to be an issue related to some norn armor clipping from the front
