a group should be given a chance, dps should be where it be so long as people know the mechanics, and know the mechanics very well. a dps tool will show who is inexperienced. and people shouldn’t take offense to that, they should ask for help. 90% of us vets will help if someone JUST ASKS.

i haven’t checked back on this thread since i first wrote how i felt, why are you guys attacking each other? debate and discuss all you want, but calling someone a liar because X person thinks Y person isn’t capable of doing Z solo. be an adult and get your opinion through would suffice.

i think i left out a detail on why i made this thread, im going to add it into an edit also.

to clarify why i think sellers should have their own tab is simple, they take up too much space while looking for a group. and yes i know what your going to say, " just scroll down or its only 3-4 LFG groups that the sellers take up" well even 1 is too much. The reason is not all of us have vast amounts of time to lfg a particular boss, and a lot of times groups fill up right when the post is made. so if i want to fold laundry or vacuum or something that prevents me from sitting in front of my computer staring at all the lfg posts, i could miss the whole lfg post altogether. picture this… i have the lfg open, and im 10-15 feet away from my PC, folding my cloths after a fresh dryer cycle and an lfg pops up, so i go closer to my PC to investigate the details…. ah crap its only someone selling raid bosses. OK i go back to what i was doing, and BAM 2 more posts pop up to only see they are selling only also. 3 groups now selling raids. 1 disappears and 2 more appear, so 4 groups lfg’ing but all are selling. as 1 leaves and 1 goes and so on and so on, none for an actual group kill legitimately. its a lot of time to stop what im doing and go look at the lfg close enough to read it, only to find out its another seller. this is not fun to do, and it feels like a chore to even have to do this.

4 lfg posts in raids might not seem like a problem to people whom have loads of free time, and to scroll past group sellers to sit and read through and weed out the selling groups. when i see the lfg empty i think OK no problemo, but once some group post looking for peeps, i stop what im doing to walk over to my computer to see its a mother trucking group selling, AGAIN!

its hard to find pug raids, so i keep the lfg open all the time when i looking. but i cant always keep it as minimized as id like but there’s always 3 or 4 groups selling.

are people that bad that they don’t want to learn and need to buy bosses that frequently?

what about Sw/Torch and Sw/Sw ? adds some torment and a 2 sec block that bleeds on counter?. Messing around in VB i could get 6-9k burns from Swords berzerk mode.

im also not noticing the fire aura explosions i think. Though i haven’t tried and tested in great depth.

Could a video be used to discuss this further? Instead of the back and forth disagreeing that is happening.

If you are going for a burn warrior build than definitely sinister ascended trinkets.

You can get 99%-100% burn duration with either of the two following setups:

1 – With Mordrem Loop Ascended Amulet
- Viper’s Armor and Weapons
- Runes of Berserker
- Sigils of Bursting and Malice
- 4 Sinister Ascended rings/accessories

2 Without Mordrem Loop Ascended Amulet
- Viper’s Armor and Weapons
- 5 Runes of Nightmare+1 Black Diamond
- Sigils of Bursting and Earth
- 5 Sinister Ascended Trinkets

The goal is to maximize condition duration as close to 100% as possible without sacrificing condition damage. Using exotic trinkets viper trinkets is overkill.

you say you “beg to differ” on warriors being top notch in pve…then you say “i personally dont give a kittenu about pve”… which one is it?

Warriors ARE in fact 1 of the biggest dmg dealers out there [pve] if you make/build your warrior the right way.

there’s 8 other classes… i used to be warrior only til i tryed others. theres no way you can only play as a warrior and not like any other class. you just might not like this game as much as you think you do. out of 9 classes i dont like 2 of them, i would really think about things a bit more and try a few others if i were you.

im a 99% pve player if that matters

how difficult would it be to just flip a switch to off, so we dont get it for 3 weeks in a row -.-

I might have been a bit hasty to reply. After continuing this convo with a helpful GM it seems ill get my money and mats back. I had to delete the 20 slot box which is fine.

I’m looking for a 20 slot box that has this function… when i have a greatsword on my mesmer and want to swap for a sword/focus combo, the focus will go into the first open slot but the greatsword will go where i clicked my sword in my weapons bag. It get a bit frustrating looking for my off hand weapon so often. Since fractals doesn’t sell an ascended 20 slot bag, i thought this a viable option. I thought wrong.

You are mistaken, there are no other bags that soulbind in this game beside the 20 slot you get when creating the character. So this is not how it is, and still might not be a bug, but it’s sure an unintelligent move to add this sort of bag in the game.

I would have to buy this recipe 8 TIMES and craft my way to 400 in tailor armor or leather. this seems like a knucklehead code from the devs to create a gold sink by making these only relevant on 1 character!

the 2 step mobile auth is on, and she changed iphones and the old one doesnt have it. every step anet put in to help us in support is to log into a page you cant log into bc you dont have access to this stupid app. how can she get rid of this??? what can i do for her?

Edit: the reason this is happening is that we moved, and the pcs were unplugged. so after a while i got into my pc, but cannot get into hers. again she cannot log into any page that has to do with her account like the help faqs say

Niether is better than the other in a whole, it comes down to circumstances. For mai Trin rifle for the knock back and burst. Traited rifle is great if you can use #3 and F1 in a line of targets. For Teq ill use LB sometimes for fire fields and traited burn condi.

IMO i find rifle more useful for pve unless you need fire fields. just swap weapons from your bag depending on the next engagement. don’t limit yourself to either one.

Sigil of Speed. I use it on my warrior also. It’s one of my favorite sigils! I know there’s other meta sigils to use but i care not as long as im always running at 33%+. My dungeon GS has strength and speed sigil and i love it!

60 SKILLS?? i have 10 plus dodge, jump, stow/draw weapon and maybe a couple here and there. Did you mean every single keybind in the options ⁷⁶?

To play 99% of the game you can use a controller, to craft and open up certain ui’s might want to use a keyboard.

I introduced an idea, instead of just complaining, i personally dont care too much of what haopens bc im having a blast on ps4 with destiny and dragon age. It just sucks that i only play on guild missions night for 35 minutes and thats getting boring.

The people that are happy with how things are here, and want content to follow lore or whatever should stay at the gw2 that has seen limited anything.

For those of us who like the combat and mechanics of this game, but give 2 kittens if we have lore dictating how often S.A.B. opens or any other fun activites that were fun to do but were taken away to leave a rather vanilla gw2 from 2 years. Then please devs branch this game off to be more like gw1 bc i see tons of posts asking for this.

You can still keep the original game that strives on a living story dynamic event twice a month. But let us that want the pavilion, sab, mounts, gvg, housing, horde mode, or whatever it is that would do soooooooooooooo much better than what we have now. Give. Us. Some. Thing. You keep breaking things and it makes me wonder if anet is purposely doing such actions to lose its player base.

TLW; most of us dont care if you need to introduce a backstory to give us content, we just want more than what we had 2 yrs ago.

So im trying to help my girl get map completion, and she has all of mag BL done. Is there a night some ppl from Mag get together to try and help people for this or just zerg, or whatever ppl do in wvw to help us get her map complete?

So every guild ive been in has slowly died, people stop playing because they are all sick of having nothing to do. So every time i log in there’s like 5 ppl repping and they don’t talk.

Is there any guild out there that has like 50+ people on in the evening at EST? i mean actually repping the guild and active guild chat and active teamspeak or whatever you may use. My girl and I know all about GW so we are not newbies looking for help. We just want a community and would LOVE the feeling of knowing this game hasnt already died, which sadly from what im seeing is it kinda is. But that can chance with the right group of people to play with, which im hoping i can find.

We are both on Maguuma atm if that matters, i guess for WvW it does, which id do, but my girl will only do it if im there also.

I just mean in the amount it takes to buy one you could level a toon through crafti mg and have mats to use or sell afterwards, and have an alt. And instead of items li, e that put their time and thoughts into other weapons and outfits since all gw2 is about is how you look and not how hard you worked for it

Also Anet if you need Revenue sell a 24/7/365 queens pavilion and Super Adventure Box for at least 20$ as sort of expansion and i guarantee you will make money.

hey bud, i could add a few cents here i hope.

2 classes come to mind that could help movement with just a razor naga gaming mouse.

holding both left click and right will move you forward, which i think you know this.

Warrior, Greatsword 3 will spin you into or away from mobs while evading and doing damage. Greatsword 5 will rush into your target, idk if itll help you to keep ’Autotargetting" on, but if you want to rush around the world with that skill itll always target something in range. Also Warrior 1 hand sword 2 will leap into and out of combat, again to use this skill as an avoidance skill i suggest not using Autotargeting. Sword off hand 5 is a ~2 second block if not in melee range, and shield is a 3 second block where ever you are.

Mesmer, staff #2 will phase you away from your target for a like dodge, and the utility Blink will port you anywhere you choose within 900 range or 1200 if traited. Plus you can hide behind clones/phantasms to block incoming damage.

Out of the 2 i would go with warrior because they have like the highest hp pool and huge heal over time abilities.
