I’m descent with DD I just don’t fight solo

I’m loving warrior again in sPVP and WvW. We have good condi clear and great kitten age. The sustain is the same with Defense. I was running D\D with M/Sh and I was doing great.

That would be nice to see if they do add mounts to WvW. Idk how fast the mounts would be, but I’m sure it wouldn’t be much faster than swiftness. Maybe 30% increase in movement speed….

Why would the lag be awful? You dismount after you use the ability…

I know I’m getting ahead of myself, but I believe they should add mounts to WVW with the same rules as gliding and the territories. I also think the mounts, the raptor since it already has an attack ability, come with a knock down so it feels like a real cavalry charge. This ability of course wouldn’t work on a person with sability, only removing one stack. What do you guys think? Just food for thought….

I just saw the Wonder Woman movie, not spoiling anything, but I was wondering if Aries and Balthazar might have the same motivation? Could they be after the same thing? For those who have seen the movie what do you think?

Wouldn’t it be cool if we could do a NA vs EU match up or NA servers Vs EU servers? I know the ping would be crazy and the lag would be unbearable, but it still would be interesting.

Great story Anet I love it! And I like that little foreshadowing that you guys set up at the end of it. Not trying to spoil anything :-).

To the original post: I feel we still have to solve Brahms situation and Rytlocks mystery on how he get his new powers. We still need to solve the mystery of Lazarus and find out about Kasmeer. And Tiami’s plot will, I assume, lead us in to the new expac. I thought I was going to be Elona because of That Shamen’s data mines but idk how this story will lead us there. That will put 3 elder dragons to face off against at once.

By the time they finish the living world story they well have been working on the expac for about a year and a half, almost 2. That’s plenty of time to finish an expansion. Plus this next expac shouldn’t take that long feature wise, like the mastery system, because they already laid the groundwork for it in HoT. They stated that this is mostly going to be a content based expac, story and such but not just limited to story and such. I think we’ll get 2 more episodes at least and that’ll bring us to the summer, and that’ll be one year of LS3. Hopefully an announcement of the expansion after that last episode with a 3 month wait, for later this year. I’m hoping for November the latest.

There’s been a crap ton of updates. Way to many to list. If I were you I would find a guild and explain your situation and I’m sure they’ll help. All and all this is a good game a lot has changed, for the better in my opinion, you’ll have fun jumping back in. Btw most ppl run fractals over dungeons but you can do both.

What’s wrong with that if the criteria is met?

I would give is break for a week if you’re getting frustrated. Try it again with a guildie.

Warrior

I’ve always liked the “knight” class in games, I like that Nobility for honor type of thing. The warrior has great burst DPS and great sustain. I like the magic classes too but they don’t survive as long. I’m also a Melee player and I like the warrior “in your face style of fighting” and mobility.

I want to hear something about this too

Man, dont listen to this Turk guy, i moved my 2nd account to FA and basically they have max 20 on teamspeak on primetime and its all guild members (excluding reset).

NA is dead in t2 compared to EU…. i bet in t3-t5 as well. Every EU server at least has 40+ in teamspeak at every primetime. At least EU pugs run revenants, guardians and other useful specs (+ are on ts) instead of everyone being DHs and rangers like in FA..

They have people, but 0 organisation outside guild activity. Their guilds dont even communicate with open tag and their guilds raid on eb Their comms are horrible whiners also.

NA is on way worse position than EU at the moment, their guilds dont trust pugs and even when they run open they close the squad from them. The pugs dont join teamspeak and only skirmish around. I am not sure what NA t1 looks like though, but the t1 servers are closed so you cant get in anyways.

Only thing NA has going for them is that they have lot of different guilds, but that is only because it is dead outside guild activity. Their guilds are somewhat mediocre because that, they run right comp but they’re relatively bad compared to EU guilds where all casuals/slackers just stay outside guilds because its not necessary in EU to join a guild to get some action.

But yeah, leave Aurora Glade, its a horrible server, they are doing PPT the boring way, they dont even try to win the matchups and their commanders have too much ego to lose fights and keep the spirit up. They had 2 chances to go to t1 and become a real server, but they couldn’t even bother to try. They’re eternal t5 server.

Just dont go Gunnars Hold or SFR, those are the 2 servers you want to avoid if you want to experience real WvW where you try to win both fights and ppt.

Why is NA and EU population and activity so different?

They wanted to give you repair hammers and you didn’t want it.

Then people wanted mercenary worlds which is the same but you can’t agree on it because identity crisis.
Anet proposes 1 dbl 2 alp, you say no, vote says yes, anet checks on scrapping dbl, you say no, anet checks for 1 dbl 2 alp again, you say yes.
Then cry about veterans not playing for 2 years didn’t get a fair vote, you need bunch of ranks and a bunch of wvw hours to vote, you cry the vote was rigged cause pve players care about a wvw map.
Then you cry about the empty red borderland when the other two borderlands are also empty, while ebg is over queued every night.
You cry for population balance, they lower the threshold to keep bigger worlds from getting bigger, you cry about it to players from 20+ dead servers, we’re gonna die if we don’t open up!
They gave you golem week and you cried about a minor golem buff exploit.
They gave you some new commander tag colors and you cry about every other color not available.
They gave you reward tracks and you complain about not getting a legendary backpack.
They put gift of battle in the track and you complain about not getting a years notice before so you can buy it with free badges.
They took away crafting stations and you cry about not being able to skip a loading screen.
They gave you you a “big giant sized” guild hall with a “small dinky” arena to do your gvg’s and you cry about it.
They reorganized the wvw upgrades into your guild halls and you complain about the minor cost of spending months in pve.
They gave you fun to use banners and you complain about it being op.
They gave you extra upgrades to scout for you and all you do is complain about small groups.
Big fancy airships to make the big castle in the middle of ebg feel more epic you cry about it killing you every 15 mins.
They put a big fat cannon in the middle of dbl to promote fights every 3 hours, you cry about lag so they take it away, and then you cry about it being empty and no bloodlust.
They gave you new elite specs to freshen up classes after 3 years of getting old and boring, and you cry about imbalance pfft like that didn’t exist before.
They gave you boons to counter the increased damage but you complained no one was dying, so they fixed it after months and months and months of hard testing, and then you complain about dying to conditions.
They made conditions good so you don’t feel limp in zerg fights and now you complain about spreading it.

Pfft.

Can they convert them to mastery points? 100=1 mastery point?

My goal was to bring in new ppl and just throw out ideas. I honestly don’t know what the problem is with WvW except for the zerging I guess and skill lag. AND I would say merge the maps and take parts from them

AND I don’t know about your servers but on my server, 1 of the top 3, we usually have one map not qued on rest mind you. If there was one map with unqued map space. Can that be used for space for more ppl on the Giant map? If this is undoable I would like facts on it, aka a developer responds.

How does ESO do it? Is it their engine because console can handle the population and aren’t PCs suppose to handle that issue better? I was thinking that the map sizes on ESO would prevent the ganging up as much because it would be hard to take over an entire map because it’s so large. And I wasn’t talking about 12 servers on one map; just the same 3 server match up and no border BLs. Just one Giant map and because it’s so huge, like in ESO, those large zeros would have to split up because it would be crazy to Zerg one side and have the rest of your territory underfunded…

I like wvw and this game. I’ve been playing since launch and those “good ole days” are still here for me. The only problem I had with the game were the content droughts, but that’s to be expected with big projects. I made this post because I want to help the community since all ppl do is complain. To be WvW isn’t really broken it’s ppl who bandwagon that makes it so difficult. My idea to solve it is the ESO WvW style if it’s possible.

Well I’m just trying to help with ideas. Hopefully if ppl like it they’ll push for it :-)

I was thinking…why don’t we take the idea that ESO has with WVW? They just have one Giant server but we would still have a 3 server match up but instead of 3 maps just one giant one for the 3 servers? Of course the maps have to similar in size to ESO. What do y’all think?

Are we ever going to get profession switching on our exciting toons?

I am also experiencing a lot of lag but my lags just happened after the monday update 10/21/2013
