Arcane Fury gives you 20% crit chance for 2.5sec, with the concentration bonus u get you will have it for 3 sec, which is enough to keep it up with good rotation. But yeah we can drop master’s fortitude for +7% crit chance.

You can change Master’s Fortitude with Superior ELements if you drop the sword and go dagger main hand. Also, Superior Elements doesn’t give 7% bonus dmg against weakened foes but +7% critical chance – the difference is huge.

Also, you are skipping the earth attunement and miss a huge bleeding condition and overall huge dmg lose. Your rotation should include Fire, Air and Earth, even water.

It is just that the weaver is an elite spec that is meant to swap the attunements a lot. Keeping this in mind it is just not reasonable to drop Arcana.

Assuming this is a PVE build (because everyone knows that with POF comes the complete condi reign and you don’t have enough condi cleaning for pvp, because you have dropped the super speed trait line from Weaver and the water trait completely) you would want to drop Arcane Abatement and take Arcane Precision instead, to increase your DPS. Another necessary swap is Final Shielding with Elemental Contingency. Also, Weaver is a hybrid (condi+power), which means you can play it with berserker but won’t get its full potential. Carrion amulet will bring better overall dps and better survivability (which you don’t need much in PVE if you feel secure in the ELE play style, aka you are a skilled player). So Carrion for now, until they introduce POWER+CONDI+FEROCITY+PRECISION, which will be a perfect choice. With that said, Rune of the Berserker will be a better overall choice. Since your foe will have condis on him, as you’re a good of applying them now – Sigil of compounding + Sigil of enhancement will give nice DPS boost.

I little clarification about the weaver. This is the most squishy profession in the game and while the barrier is good for better survivability, they are very situational and can be countered very easy by professions with better movement. Superspeed is great in the trait line but hard to work so well and compensate for everything else. By everything else, I mean the low range on the sword, compared to dagger for example, as well as the surprisingly low damage. As the most squishy profession, we have to compensate with good mobility and great dmg with range combo. If we are using a sword we will constantly be in the melee fight. If we don’t have the range and the dmg (which we obviously lack with a sword), we could at least use faster dmg bursts. Unfortunately, this is not here also because we have 4 sec global CD on attunements!

We are squishy – we have to burst fast and get out of the melee. At the moment the weaver doesn’t have range, doesn’t have enough DPS, doesn’t have fast burst and is squishy AF… Not to mention that if we make mistakes with this “play on a piano to win” profession we are punished very hard.

Weaver has great potential if:
1. You reduce the global cd of attunements by 1-2 sec.
2. Reduce the casting time of sword skills by 1/4 sec.
3. Increase the range/radius of the sword skills by 150.
4. Increase the damage of sword skills by 10-20%.

Looking practically at the legendaries, I would like the rings+amulet+2nd trinket to be added 1st so I can complete full gear of legendary items… AFTER that the variations of different weapons. This is not just a request for nice cosmetic weapon show but an actual functionality of the whole gear to change between one build and another. Especially now, when my Elementalist can play as pure power/power+condi (hybrid)/pure Condi/healer. Adding amulets+rings+2nd trinket will make the life of such professions easier and more fun as they can change between builds at will.

Your example has nothing to do with what the screen shows.
There are cases where idle/rq players should be punished, but a lot of the cases these people are right to give up.

For example, I had a match where 2 thieves in my team were going UNDER the spawn point of the enemy and dancing there, not attacking at all (Coliseum).

I have games where my team go straight forward to the enemy, all of them and they literally die for 2-3 sec, without doing a single attack and this happens 3 times in a row. Literally, I’m using teleport (to position myself near the enemy) with overload on an ele. Until the overload has been cast, they are all dawned, NOT JUST ONCE. After I cast my overload, I face 1vs4 where I die, LOOK NOW, in more than 10 sec!!!, using several abilities. And they flame me why I haven’t healed them, in these 2-3 sec, while I was overloading. I will understand this to happen once but if they die like this every single time?

From the start you see 4 people go close and after they capture it 2 still stay at the close and don’t move from there, telling us that they are defending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (while we fight 3vs5 middle and their close)

I can tell you a lot more scenarios, seriously…

Tell me, can I idle in such games?

The point is if u see that your team want to lose, you don’t have to try to win.

G’day,

I am a ele from launch returning, was in spvp and i was SMASHED by another ele, he was rolling around on a rock pile amongst other things, needless to say I am turning to the forums for some good spvp builds as I feel as though I was either being outplayed or simply I was not doing enough dps. I have perused metabattle however i don’t see any decent builds ( seem smeh).

I would like to know what builds you run in spvp, whats fun to you, also if you’re that ele who wrecked me, give me some pointers.

No need to say ele is the hardest profession to play along with engi. Assuming you know how to attune quick and use spells you should focus on water+arcana+fire.

The stats measure how someone has played in the game. PVP is not all about stats but they measure if you were capping a lot if you were defending a lot if you are able to damage the enemy a lot, which is very important, or if you were able to heal/revive (aka support) your team a lot. I am not saying that these stats should ALONE make the game treat you special but you have to agree that if you have performed a lot better than your team mates, you should be treated as a better player in an unfair match.

As Chaith said, the game already treats teams like this (special), awarding or taking different rank points depending on how strong the enemy team was compared to yours. Why this can’t be applied to individual players also? I don’t know how but if I have 50% healing/dmg/revives/capture/offense/defense (all 6), and the other 4 players have each 12.5% of these, don’t you think I should be treated with less lose points (and the game ends at 500-100)? Clearly, my place isn’t in these players league or these players don’t belong in this league. It is either I lose fewer points so I can play with people that are near my skill level or they lose more points so they move away from me. I wouldn’t want to have another game with these players. How about you?

I bet if u are gold and your team is silver u will be ok to face plat and legendary opponents only. We all deserve the match and ofc the loss with it. Nothing wrong. In all scenarios, no one deserves such games. This is considered a handicap.

The other part of your post is logical only on paper, unfortunately, it never happens.

20.1%? Seriously, do you believe this for all 6 stats?

This guy was healing, damaging, capping points, defending points, reviving and everything else, better than the other 4 players.. ALL THESE THINGS. Do you know how hard is to have a top offense and top defense and at the same time top dmg, top kills, top healing and top revive?

Rating gains/losses are not conspiring against you:

If you are rated 1650, both teams are average 1500, yes, you will lose in the ballpark of 18 rating. Higher rated players are supposed to exert more influence over the match, and if they don’t, they are adjusted to lose a little more rating.

If you lose more than 15, either your personal rating, or your team average rating is higher than the enemies.

The higher your rating the more likely you are to be > enemy’s team rating and lose more, it’s a countermeasure against climbing rating too fast.

I don’t think anyone is talking about a conspiration. We are talking about an unfair, rather huge, flaw.

We can see the 1st team is well balanced, but what can we see on the 2nd team? I think this person has every right to RQ/AFK or whatever else.

Ask yourself something. If every match u get 4-6 top stats and u have 10 match losses in a row, will u deserve these losses?

Why should this person be ok to play with a handicap? If he meets such team he has the full right to refuse to play as in his eyes this is a troll team.

How can you enjoy such game which is obviously 1vs5? MAX 2vs5!!! And half of your team are just walking points, which may be considered as match manipulation in his eyes.

Don’t know about your “normal” criteria but for me isn’t normal to get top kills+top dmg+top healing+top offense/defense/revives

Top stats is a metric, just like your PVP rating. It is there so it means something. In fact it shows exactly something – that you have made the most dmg/heal/revives etc…

You are telling me that dmg/heal/offense/defense doesn’t matter.

You can achieve 1-2 top stats very easy, how about your heal bot to achieve 4-5-6 top stats ? Will it be strange for you if your healbot got top dmg, kills and offense? I gues not with your logic.

The most important question is: does this person with 6 top stats deserve the loss as the other 4 players get, with no top stats at all? Is he fairly matched with his team?

Sometimes you just know you are on a team of lesser skilled players. As you can see, we got roflstomped and none of my stats were very impressive, yet I swept all top stats. This way the ragers which AFK will play too.

This will stop the ragers from afk. The good players will have reason to play. The bad players wont lose more than they have been losing before.

Tired of such matches. It is wrong to have 1000 matches and have 2500-3000 (for example) top stats awarded but still to have more than 50% of the games lost. This means that EACH match you have 2-3 stats top but still, lose the game. Which means you are constantly playing better than your team, which means that the game puts weaker players in your team and not players that match your skill, which means you play with a handicap. And I AM OK with this as long as I don’t lose so much rating. IMO make it, if you have 2 top stats to lose half and if you have 3 top stats – to lose 1/3 or 1/4… And if you have 4+ top stats u should lose only 1 (like symbolical) or nothing because clearly, something is wrong with the team then.

MY advice is to wait and see how sword performs compared to dagger, for example.

Because from what I saw the dagger is better than sword, especially in PVP. And everyone knows that d/d ele is the most fun play also. You dont want your legie to stay unequiped all the time, right?

I don’t think that sword will be superior to a dagger in the main hand.

In fact, I think the water+arcana+weaver with d/d will be the best choice for pvp.

I don’t know how you saw the sword in the main hand but unless they increase its range and dmg the dagger is still number 1. The sword was meh to me. BUT if they increase its dmg and range (as it should be, just locical) this will be 10/10 elite spec and since it is one of the hardest professions to master due to the 24/7 changing of elements and 2-3 times more skills than necromancer for example, it will be only fair to squeeze more dmg if u are doing everything right.

The weaver Unravel hexes must be fixed and clear all kind of conditions.

Yes but ppl sometimes choose 3 trait lines to make their condies stronger. So you are telling me that you don’t wanna spend 1 trait line to counter their 3? OK fair enough – I understand you
It is not like there are builds completely relying on Condi. In a matter of fact, i heard of Condi for the 1st time in my life – this must be a new mechanic that no one uses at all.

Not going to respond to the rest. But are you referencing to doubling the size of each link ? Theoretically Blackgate + Maguma into one link ? And then increasing the Map cap limits from 80-100 somewhere to 120-150 per map ?

Considering the maps struggle already at 80-100, SMC 3 way fights barely lest you use skill 1 etc, I don’t have the slightest clue how that would work with 150…. game standing still for 5 minutes and just kicking everyone out ? repeatedly ?

And considering we already got queue’s in weekends in prime time, I really can’t see any compelling argument for increasing the size of the links.

Don’t really care about this. My main point to start the thread is different and this was added as an additional comment. Bigger map (aka 2-3 layers) would suggest for a higher population. Now I am not familiar but if it is a hardware issue it can be fixed to support more people. Also, I am not saying which server to which to be linked as there are very competent people which can decide this. I am just saying that linking them like this will make the servers more populated in each battle 24/7.

And my main point of the thread was a request for a change in WvW or PvP, not to suggest the changes myself.

Haha sure I’d like to duel you but I havent used staff ele in over a year since I only recently got back into Ele and have been practicing with Daggers to prepare for melee range on Weaver. If you give me some time to practice though, I can probably take you on in a duel and beat your mesmer.

Absolutely trash videos.

1st and most important these are from January, June and October 2016.

2nd These doesn’t show any real footage. Especially the asura ele. Tell me where you see a fight there? I see some random noobs meeting the ele and running from it and the ele chasing them.

There was 1 video in PVP..

However, you cant mix gear there and is point attack/defense based gameplay, aka the ele can concentrate his power on this point and be a little more effective than roaming WvW, which we were talking about.

Let me show you a real, up to date, footage of real ROAMING ele, which is not staff as it is complete trash vs any player with hands and not pressed the num lock auto run and afk. You can see in this video the difference between his opponents and these in your video, from before 1-2 years.

My question is very simple. I would like to know if we can expect some big additions in WvW and PvP?

Not that I don’t like PVE but it is the only thing that is given new content. With each expansion, with each living season, there have been added maps, new mechanics, new achievements, events, new items.

The only addition WvW and PvP will get, again, are the new elite spec. They don’t change the objective, only provide some fresh gameplay to each profession. It is like walking in the same cafe for 5 years but with different clothes.

How about an additional map and different game modes? How about capture the flag in PVP? Maybe something else? The current state of PvP is awful. Because it doesn’t have new content for so much time players are getting less each season and because of this, the matchmaking system doesn’t work good also. If you check the PvP section of the forum, 50% of the topics are complaining about the awful matchmaking. Adding new maps, new game objectives will attract more people for sure.

The WvW has turned into a PIP-farm-semi-afk game. It is not fun at all. Don’t change this if you want – I personally do not care. BUT for those that want to play it – make a game mode with something like PLANS to complete specific objectives, chain of them, in a specific time frame and be rewarded with something that will attract more people to do it. This was just an example but why don’t you provoke players to be ACTIVE players a little more? Maybe it is risky to add something innovative but you have to think about a way to attract more people in the battlegrounds and not only to stay there afk for rewards but also to be “quality” players, which help getting more points. How about adding 2nd layer map above these, something similar to Verdant Brink? With the introduction of the gliders in WvW this can be done. How about 3rd layer – underground – we already have a dredge mine and some things popping out from the ground anyway.

All these are just suggestions but please, PLEASE… Add something BIG, different, to WvW and PvP.

You must not be playing Staff Ele correctly then. I used to roam with Staff in WvW a while back and I would destroy in 1v1’s and team fights. I’m not the only one either, I’ve seen plenty of really skilled Staff Elementalists on youtube who are amazing at dropping those aoes at just the right time in just the right spot.

Gotta git gud, son. Also maybe look up some of their videos too.

PvP/WvW reward track, for few hours u get 50 rubies. This way I got 150 rubies in 1 day. I found PvP reward track to be 2-3 times faster.

So.. it’s not the rewards then. It’s the legendary armor. Which is only one reward.

And if they are here only for the armor, likely they need more than 2-3 hours per day. They are likely low rank which you are not.

Also, what is harmful about having more people in the mode?

Most of us were hoping for increased numbers to WvW. Granted, we want people who will enjoy it and play it for longer than just the rewards, but likely a number of them will stay.

More people should be offering to help them learn the mode instead of yelling ‘Get off my lawn!!’

And to the poster that noted his Guild leader is pvd’ing now? Maybe that isn’t the guild for you anymore.

1450 pips needed per week

If he gets 5 pips per tick (average) – assuming we are 2nd + 1pip from the previous week wooden chest – this is 60 pips per hour. Look I don’t even include the outnumbered which may sometimes appear. BUT lets say it doesn’t appear whole week. 1450/60 = 24 hours and 5-10 mins. So spread these 24 hours in 1 week. He needs around 3 hours and 15-20 min per day. In reality, he will need less than 3 hours because of the outnumbered pips sometimes.

And I know some new players who spend 8-10 hours per day in WvW, farm the pips in 2-3 days and don’t touch wvw next 4-5 days.

Put 5-10 min per day for t3 participation.

No they’re not. Even with the advent of rewards tracks and skirmish tracks, if your goal is rewards, you’re better off in many other areas. For example:

  • sPvP
  • silverwastes
  • dry top
  • pick a LW3 map
  • Orr
  • Fractals
  • dungeons
  • HoT metas
  • Central Tyria boss trains

If you’re serious about rewards, wvw is not the place to go. The rewards are good because the game mode is fun. The rewards aren’t good because it’s some sort of crazy profitable place to farm.

From these that you have mentioned, except the sPVP (which can give 2 legendary pieces MAX per season), which one can give you the opportunity to upgrade 6 pieces of asc armor into legendary?

There are 3 ways.

1. Raids. Let’s see. I know a bunch of ppl that don’t like the raids because of its toxicity, failures with pugs and the fact that it is almost impossible to get into raids now if you are new players (you have to link 100000 LI + full armor set + all minis + your kidney). Your best bet will be to either join a raiding guild in which they will out u (as a noob) in the last group (which doesn’t always fill and spend 5-6 hours just to clear one wing, if they clear it at all). This and the fact that you have to run this raid A LOT to get full set is just ridiculous to prefer to do raids just for the legendary armor.

2. sPVP. Yes, sPVP is the best and fastest way to obtain a legendary armor. However, it limits the players to upgrade a maximum of 2 pieces each season which means they need at least half a year to get the full set. Nothing wrong with this – its legendary armor set and it should take some time. But what is doing the smart player? Which brings us to 3.

3. WvW. Now, the smart player isn’t here just for the reward tracks, but the other rewards also. He is here for an end game gear which will give him the opportunity to change his armor stats at will, for free and won’t bother spending/farming gold just to test that new build (aka he is here for pips). He has another class which may use that armor? Perfect – he can just change the stats. How many pips have you farmed in fractals to upgrade to legendary armor? Anyway, the smart player (which is also a new player) has farmed 2 pieces of legendary armor from sPVP and since he is forced to wait for the new season he has to farm either raids or WvW. 365 tickets per week = 1 piece of armor per 4 weeks (if we include the tickets needed to buy the ascended gear first). Which gives the opportunity to max legendary armor gear in less than 4 months, by playing 2-3 hours a day WvW, which is kinda easier, more relaxing and IMO more fun than raids, don’t you think?

Hope this clears it for you… the fact why people are just staying there for pips (not all but some).

Guys, there are 2 reasons for this:

A lot of new players are coming in the PVP or a lot of them don’t care much about winning or losing and just having fun fighting the enemy.

Why there are new players (that are not as experienced as you) in the ranked matches?

Simple – because of the legendary armor upgrade. This is time-consuming but still faster and easier way for a lot of PVE players to get a legendary piece of armor. For 1 reason or another, they don’t play raids or can’t clear them so they choose a lot easier way to get that legendary piece. They play WvW + PVP to get even faster the 6 pieces of legendary armor – this may take 3 months max. Compared to the raiding this is faster and easier.

The other reason why there are such PVPers is that a lot of new GW2 players are coming now, with the introduction of the new expansion. You can’t expect complete noob to handle good team fights.

Solution to this is to make your own team since ANET haven’t separated the teams from the pugs, aka you will get AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE against the enemy because u will play with players that:

A) You have communication with (ts or whatever), which results in faster and more accurate coordination.

B) You play with people that you have chosen to be on the team, know what they can handle and what they can’t, most likely you know they are good PVP players. Or maybe you call your 5 years relationship in GW2 PVP players that you know so good that you can read their minds and know what exactly they will do at any moment.

This way even if the enemy has 2-3 good players (in most cases and rarely 4, and extremely rare there are 5 ppl that know whats going on) you will have higher chances of winning. This, my friends, is called increasing the odds by taking the things in your hands.

Another solution will be for ANET to rework the matchmaking system… Like a lot and make it more accurate. To introduce average dmg done/healing done/kills etc etc for each player and to combine teams based on these stats. Top stats acquired, etc etc. And of course teams vs teams (only) and pugs vs pugs, similar to overwatch. If the enemy team have 3 players in a party, your team will almost always have 3 teams in a party too.

Can’t really wait. PVP was ok for 1 week… got all the chests + 4 more repeatable and I got bored.

Tried a little fractal but got bored after 10 min.

WvW is even more boring than PvP

Oh dear, please just wipe FX chips off the face of the earth. Bury them and forget about them. They are slow as molasses and obsolete.

As above stated, Ryzen 1600 is a good compromise at the moment. Its not ideal for GW2 but then again bying an Intel at the moment is pointless too – in about 1 months time everything will get shuffled when Coffe Lake come out, prices on 7th gen should drop.

Not worth to wait for coffee lake.

Why, its the newest intel chip you will ask?

Because it uses the same 14nm technology and the major optimization of this technology was at the release of kaby lake.

So if op has to wait it should be for the 10nm chips cannon lake at the 1st quarter of 2018 or even better wait for ice lake/tiger lake but then again this is too far in the future.

Weaver weapons.. focus? or dagger?

Sword does a lot less than main hand dagger, less damage on the auto chain, while the number 2 evades are nice I can’t really say it’ll be better. Neither can I say that weaver offers something I consider worth the trade off for the number 3 skills on dagger, shocking aura, frozen burst, magnetic leap and burning speed are just far more useful.

However if I had to use sword and weaver it would be offhand dagger for mobility and the 2 condition cleanses on offhand water. For a long time people will condi bomb you after you leave water but weaver gives you the ability to get a heal and cleanse, then swap back to water if needed 2-4s later. Fire grab is also pretty much the only damage you will have so if you pick focus what are you going to do? Tickle the enemy? Tell really bad jokes so they die laughing?

Sorry but there’s barely any pressure or damage from a sword focus build, most current HoT builds will either destroy you or get bored and just leave without feeling pressured.

True and shame that Weaver has better traits (imo) compared to tempest and fire

I don’t feel I can abandon water and arcana just yet (in pvp/wvw)

I wish I could play with weaver traits without it replacing my 3rd main hand skill (I wont specialize in dual attacks in the traits – it provides such option)

d/d is still the best combo for pvp/wvw ele, not op like before but it is good.

The only difference is he found all this for 970$

He could take cheaper CPU cooler but he wanted to overclock the CPU.

With only very slight voltage increase he was able to OC it at 4.3ghz

Imo he didn’t need 1060 gpu but only 1050ti but the performance from 1060 compared to 1050ti is too huge to skip on.

Every detail on max and on, full hd resolution, he play 55-60 fps (when it’s limited to 60fps max) in Lions Arch.

To compare this for u I am with older PC 16gb ddr3 upg to 2133mhz, i7 4790k oc to 4.5ghz, evgta gtx780ti king pin edition, slightly oced too and I pull between 41 and 60 fps in lions arch but his minimum is 55.

P.S This is not just something he told me – I saw the fps and played on his pc myself. And his PC is in a dusty room, no matter how often he vacuum it and clean it there is dust and the case is perfect for dusty rooms as it has antidust filters and a lot of air ventilation. I think he got 2 more fans from his old rig and put em on the new case as the new case comes only with 1 big fan in front. But hell, this case is great. His temps never go beyond 60 degrees and its summer (in stress test). And the m.2 helps loading between maps a lot. I am with ssd and this m.2 loads faster every map

Water and Arcana are too good to skip at the moment. Sadly or not – they will stay with Weaver to get his optimal setup for pvp and wvw. But I am pretty sure that Weaver will boost the core ele gameplay a lot which I think is the right direction. Ele is way more fun to play as core and weaver is inspired by this playstyle. I tested it only for few hours and I find it very powerful, can’t wait to get more practice with it.

Ele is and was always one of the hardest professions to play in order to bring its full potential. Core ele is one of the strongest to play. In good hands its highly rewarding and sadly in bad hands its just not worth playing. I agree that a lot of ppl can benefit from little buff but if good players see such buff I am afraid it will be too op. I play ele both core and temp and I am doing pretty nice myself vs any class. Even in PVE, after the meteor nerf, after the overload nerf I still find myself in top dps position.

For the people complaining about getting beginners in their teams: they are good for the game but they are spread in both teams and not just yours – sometimes you play against them, sometimes you play with them. As op said sometimes he plays 1vs2/1vs3, why not the enemy team to play 2vs4 then? Nothing wrong with the system.

P.S You want balance in matchmaking? Let’s start from the point where teams are matched against teams and pugs against pugs because it is obvious that team against pug is a match with handicap and is not fair, especially since the game doesn’t offer voice chat in the team.

I’d really enjoy more underwater maps. The underwater parts of this game offer some of the most interesting environments and places to explore, really gave this game a unique feel to it.

Sadly though I doubt we’ll see more as I don’t think there’s even been a hint at any more underwater content from Anet over the years, feels like it’s been abandoned. I know some people found issue with the combat, but I thought it was functional at least.

Also while I’m not a fan of them, the fact we now have mounts could give a potential revamp to underwater zones if they decided to create underwater mounts of some form. But I really don’t think we’d see anything like that, or improvements or overhauls to the underwater stuff unless we were getting a whole new expansion where the majority of maps would be underwater ones. (And I doubt we would get such an expac as it would be quite a risky move given how divided players are on underwater stuff, I imagine it would turn a lot of players away from it)

Still for those of us that do enjoy underwater exploration, we can only hope there’s at least more underwater sections added. Having one new LS map that’s purely underwater would be nice, as that would also give Anet a chance to try out some new underwater mechanics to see what players think, to test the water as it were

This is why they shouldn’t go with full expansion but 1-2 maps just to test

I am pretty sure that they will work on the mechanics and will make the combat great and ppl will like it as it will be something new for all of us.

This game offers the most beautiful water world I have ever seen.

Legendary underwater weapons, aqua breathers, completely different skills underwater, different fighting style. There should be more content to cover the usage of these things. And if they add a little more it will be perfect. They can even implement new wvw/pvp mode, in an underwater map or at least half of it.

I think it’s more on the lines of people can’t think for themselves because “meta means it is currentlythe best”. In a real world, Meta will sometimes fall apart, and fail to really show why it is the best. Only because the meta is specifically designed for a range of play where skill differences are so small that a number advantage becomes incredibly important.

There are a few metas that are set in stone however. Like in League of Legends, what goes to what lane. This is less because it is -the best- and more because it is easier for players to understand when playing with a bunch of random people.

Exactly. The build is easy to play but is far from the best. THere are so many builds better than these and can handle them very effectively. Just because someone can’t handle this, doesn’t mean it’s op. I have no problem with condi thieves ever nor I have problems with any condi build.
