Really just because something is a pain to deal with does not warrant nerfing it. Now if they had a massive advantage then nerf the advantage or buff everyone else. But don’t ask to break the class just cause your mad.

You do know you can have it remember you password at login and since it is..just a game..you can write it down and put it in the case to the game. Not like someone is going to break in and say “Ooh a password to GW2, SCORE!!!” They still need your email to use it any way.

Yes I am referring to the ones that just say “axe”. I usually only get named stuff from dungeons and did know if making a mithril or ori wep without the inscription would create one. Guess I’ll try it and check fractals since I haven’t done them yet Thank you for the feedback!

Yeah the wave of ranger bots has pretty much vanished. Very glad too since getting a kill with them around was a pain The teleport bots seem to be less as well. I actually haven’t seen one on my server in over a week.

So can you craft them or can they only be bought on the TP? I have all crafts to 400 and it would just save me money if I could craft them to throw into the MF instead of buying them.

I’ve had the same problem since Wintersday. Certain events make me go to about 2-5 FPS and I have to restart my comp to fix it. Now I can’t do Maw, temple events, even the champ abomination. Before Wintersday I would drop to like 10-15 but it would go right back up again after the event had ended.

Well I wish I would have gotten some lodestones, but I spent about 400k karma and got 2 mini pets, 31 obsidian shards and about 2g in vendor trash. I got a nice amount of karma back so I think it was well worth it cause I went to the mystic forge and got 7 more clovers and a nice chunk of T6 mats

One that I know of is in Cursed Shore at the southern part of the map at the very bottom right by the underwater sp

I am already in the process of making The Crossing and Eye of Rogort, but I am having a hard time finding a dagger that fits with the creepy, evil theme. The best I could find was the Nightmare Dagger. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Could you please post how you traited the MM build and what you chose for each one? The links are all blank trees. I am trying my hand at MM right now and am at lvl 23. I am loving it and would like to know how to trait for later levels cause I love my minions to much to give them up. Also what skill do you use for healing?

I’m talking about 4 hours a day, depending on the day. And I shouldn’t have to grind gold. How is it fun when you are looking at how much gold you earned in a day compared to how much you still need to buy everything? It is much more rewarding to me to do an event and during that event I get drops that go towards my goal. I get to see the progress. It is also not fun to me to sit and play the TP for money, I want to explore the world, not sit in LA. Also it is not seeing progress when I make say about 2g for my efforts and still need say 200g to meet my goal where as getting various mats and a lodestone in the same amount of time makes me feel like I accomplished more.

I understand the need to deter bots but when you are trying to collect stuff for legendaries or other exotic craftables, getting one lodestone drop after a month is pitiful. Not everyone has the money to buy gems to convert to gold to buy the items off the TP. It already cost a good deal of in game money to get some of the stuff that you can’t buy on the TP. I don’t mind running all over Tyria killing stuff to get what I need, but when you are not even close to getting stuff when you’ve put in all that hard work is just disheartening . I love this game, I have fun running all over doing DEs, dungeons and dailies but I get frustrated when I have very little to show for it. I don’t expect to get everything in a short amount of time, but if I need 100 lodestones for something, getting 1 a day would be nice.

It should be expected when killing a champ. It is really sad when a risen chicken gives me a rare and a champ gives blue and below or nothing. You should have a higher chance of something better dropping from killing a champ.

One of my guildies has that problem. Always gets kittenty drops and crap from chests. Mine drops vary but dragon wise I think I’ve gotten 1 exotic and maybe 4 rares. I usually get blues and greens. And I don’t do the dragons a lot.

I have the same problem since wintersday. I had drops before but it would go back to normal in a few seconds. Now when it drops it stays there.

There are also the few that see you lying there, and when you ask for assistants the walk right by you and do nothing. That happened to me once, and I died right by a wp that I had not activated yet. I asked for them to rez me and got ignored. Obviously I wasn’t a bot if I was asking for help.

I guess I must be one of the rare ones cause I can see where some pve bosses can be a spam 1 and done but I seem to have them focused only on me 80% of the time so I end up spending the entire time dodging and running in circles to avoid being hit. I also think some have way too much health. And as for casuals ruining content, what is easy for one is not easy for another and this game was not marketed for elite gamers only. I play with quite a few casuals and they can hold their own. They should make a hard mode for those who have the exceptional skill and time and crave the challenge. But don’t bash the rest of us as unworthy of anything just because we enjoy most of the game difficulty as is.

We solved the problem of keeping our cranial extremities warm a long time ago. But you should expect nothing less from staggering intellect. Honestly I don’t understand how bookahs have not figured out at least the basics. Sigh well when you seem to have the cranial capacity of a skritt, earmuffs must sound like a good idea

I am the opposite. I have no problems jumping with my asura, but trouble with my human toon. It is because the camera angles and some of the low ceilings get in the way Being shorter made it a little easier lol

I do contribute in groups as I do switch between p/p and sb, I use shadow refuge to help downed players. I may not have the DPS of a warrior but I help by staying alive long enough to help others who need it. I fail to see how that is not contributing. I only play pve so the style works for me. The only time I will be doing wvw is to get my map comp.

I know it takes forever to kill something but I am not going to change what I like just because I don’t kill it quickly. Everyone has their own play style and what suits one may not suit the other. But don’t dismiss something just because you can’t kill stuff fast enough with it.

I run p/p and sb in pve and dungeons. I love it!! I use p/p on single targets and sb on multiple. I do switch between the 2 on champs. I’ve found that going 20/20/30 helps because you get +5% on duel wield and +5% on pistols. I have never had someone say I was useless in a dungeon and I prefer to stay ranged as I get kitten dizzy kiting in circles. The toughness helps keep me alive for the most part.

To me dungeons are supposed to be a fun time with other ppl. I have had a lot of fun with guildies and others doing them. Have had people w/o exotics and lower levels than required. I have run across a few kittens who were kitten about how we were doing it.

I’ve run a few dungeons with necros that were really good. It all depends on learning your class. I have a ranger and a thief and liked them both. I am really liking my thief. Being able to stealth myself to bypass some fighting is nice. I also run the unpopular p/p and am loving it

I like the CM gear too ( for my little Asura thief) and I also have a hard time finding people.. I actually joined a really good group today, just sad that they only wanted to do one path. I’ve found that most of the people lfg are in LA.

I’m level 56 and have been using p/p and sb and love it. It all depends on your style of play. It may take me a little long to kill stuff but I just can’t help that I am a sucker for unload

Today myself and another player ran into a vet ice imp that was a pain, so we backed off and asked for help. Enough ppl showed to kill it and then we all ran in a group to get some of the other stuff. Later another player and I took on a different vet. I love the collaboration in this game! I helped someone out the other day with their story. Just randomly asked me to help so I did.

I love the trench on my Asura! Makes her look right out of the matrix Makes my day to see her run around, bust out her pistols and say “You’re dumb, you’ll die and leave a dumb corpse”

I leveled a ranger to 80 first and then decided to try the thief out. Asuran thief with p/p nuff said She looks so cute in her trenchcoat and the she pops out the pistols and it looks like she just popped out of the matrix

I’m at level 55 right now and having 20 in Shadow Arts has helped me survive quite well. And I am one of those nonkiters cause that makes me kitten dizzy. I only kite if I have to and I use p/p and sb. So I guess that makes me a rare bird lol

I used it during a story mission and got stuck in a weapons cart. Didn’t have blink yet so had to restart cause I was stuck

Ah asura appreciation, I love it! I didn’t notice that the ears perk up in combat till I read some of the responses and it is so funny All my characters are going to be Asura from now on.

I am now totally hooked on my Asura! I know I’m not the only one so I wanted to see why everyone else likes them.
My main reasons are:
1. When I dodge she looks like Yoda jumping around
2. The unnecessarily large vocabulary aka “structural integrity has been compromised”
3. So cute and sarcastic

No kidding!! You lose one to gain another or they just join together since they don’t seem to ever want to leave you alone. And the respawn time kills me. I kill them and while in the process of trying to get what I killed them for such as skill points and the like, they kitten interrupt me cause they practically respawn right after they go down.

That one is kitten hard. Myself and 3 other people fought for about 10 min to take it down. Unfortunately for me, even after I died and rejoined the fight it kept its focus on me. I did get a bit dizzy running in circles. All I did to contribute was keep it off the others and drop traps since if I stopped for more than that it was beating the kitten out of me

I usually start my characters home area till about level 5-10 then start doing all of the main cities. After that I either go back and finish the first area or I start in a new 1-15 area to change it up. I do all the beginning areas, then the next levels and so on. Getting map completions, harvesting and you story gives quite a bit of exp. That way you are not killing the same stuff over and over

The story is lacking yes
Guilds, I joined 2 and both rarely ever had any one on. Joined another and for the first time had guild members chatting
Orr in general is a pain, even trying to run away I get my behind kicked. Would be better with more people which happens every now and then.
I have also noticed a lack of wanting to help. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t but it is frustrating when you need help and no one wants to.

Regardless I still enjoy the game, maybe my Asura is helping in that she is just too cute and the stuff she says is so funny
I am also easily amused and that helps

I tried to make a tiny Asura and I got a headache trying to find her all the time so now mine is at the max height so I get to be a giant but tiny at the same time At least I can see her now lol
