A reason to return.I bought hot and played only a few days before i sub again on the other mmon i play(you know which one).

Since it’s your first mmo then yes it’s worth it.Find a guild with good people to run dungeons-fractas,raid,do events,lvl up all professions and you will have a great time.Even if u play solo you will find things to do.Most people who say its not worth it are people who play for years mmos and cant find something new to do.

It is.Every game that lets you free to get better gear with real money without playing the game before someone who farms the same gear by playing the game is p2w.

One character slot would be awesome.Still havent played with revenant because of no extra character slot with physical copy of hot.

I wont pre order or buy a physical copy of any future expansion in gw2.I bought hot.I didnt like it.I dont believe they can do better.

Because you dont have many things to do when you hit max lvl.Other games have mounts to collect,companions,pets,trasmogrification gear to farm,trinity,different tiers of gear from many different dungeons/raids to collect etc.In gw2 the only good things to get are only a few and need a lot of time to farm.

I dont hate it.But it made me resub to wow.I only log in to claim the daily reward.

Doesnt have to do with area design.Otherwise how do you explain that they allowed flying in vanilla wow maps?And in Tera they will add flying mounts too with the next big patch.

The title f2p is misleading idd.With so many restrictions its not f2p.Its try for free.F2p is tera,neverwinter online,aion for example.You can play everything for free and you can use auction house,chat,play the latest content(expansions) etc but you can also become vip or buy some kind of sub if you want to spend real money on the game.This is a trully f2p model where you dont devide your players into two categories.Gold sellers is not a serious excuse to lock your playerbase behind a paywall.Even wow has tons of gold spamming in trade chat.

Gw2 is very bad at explaining things to a new player.Start a fresh character while doing some research on the internet for the class you want to play.

Ranger for me works better than the rest for solo things.

Because i waited to buy a physical copy of hot i didnt get a character slot to make a revenant.Thats their way to show you how much they respect their customers.Dont expect to give you for free something they can sell in their gem store for more money.

Get a life.It has better graphics and you dont need 10k dollars to play with other people.

I bought a physical copy because i like the artwork on the box.Do i regret it?No.Because its b2p.

The problem is that very mmorpg atm is totally the same with something else.Thats why ppl jumb from one game to another.Because they play the same game with different graphics.They should try to make gw2 totally different and interesting to make people stay and dont leave after they max lvl their characters because they have the same feeling with the previous mmo they played.

Because wildstar is f2p and in wow i no longer pay for a sub because i farm enough gold every month to buy a wow tokken and dont pay real money to play.

Its a good way to make money.Especially for someone who doesnt have a lot of things to do in game.

Diablo and wow has better.

They cant.This game is not designed for mounts.

People still play Everquest.Even if you dont like it the answer is no.And dont forget that wow is dying for a decade now.

In a game with no end game or trinity i think there are other more serious problems to solve first.

People leave because every single f2p mmo goes p2w for easy cash.Players try to find the next mmorpg until it goes p2w and leave for another.On f2p mmos only rich players stay behind and keep playing.The rest just leave.I see that in nwo,tera eu(worst publisher ever),archage.I left all these games after a while when i hit a paywall.In wow they ppl always leave before the new xpac.They do that everytime and come back when the new xpac comes out.Play about a year and leave again.

Seriously no one cares anymore for hot.Everyone now is talking about wow legion.Check out the social media and see for yourself.

You cant find wow or FFXIV in a b2p game.

Do you see whats the problem with gw2?You ask for something new that will give more options in game and ppl tell you to go play something else that already have it…

Mount is way better than opening your map every 10 seconds to see where you are and teleport to another spot.And mounts can open new options for pvp.Like mounted combat,new skills while you are mounted etc.And its better to collect mount than useless companions.

The second most popular mmo atm is FFXIV with 4 million subs.On b2p and f2p games you cant count the players because most of the ppl have more than one accounts for various reasons(more characters,banker characters,multibox etc).

Gw2 has the best music from all mmorpgs from the start of this universe.Its the only mmorpg i have the music on.

I want a translation to klingon too.We dont have english schools here and i have many friends that want to play gw2 and cant.Plz anet do something.We pay good.

Yes it would be more popular with trinity.Wow killer?No.It had the chance and lost it.Like everyone else(wildstar,eso,archage etc).Only FF XIV raises its players as i see.And now with the new expansion that adds flying mounts i think it will attract even more people.

Raise the lvl cap and problem is solved.People will buy the xpac to lvl up their characters through the new area and they dont care for the old maps like they do in all mmos.This is unfair and “cheap” to lock ppl outside an entire area for your lvl and because you dont want to spend time to make new gear and more dungeons.

You take what you pay.

Add 4-8gb more ram and you will be fine.

Zerker is optional, you don’t have to get this kind of a gear if you have that wish.
You have a choice, with trinity there’s not much of a choice.

zerker isnt optional.Noone will take you to dungeons if u dont play zerk.I dont see any options in game atm.Everyone plays the exact same with the others if they want to play with other ppl and not by themselves.Anet said no holy trinity but also said no expansion too and see what happened.We get full paid expansion and now they add taunt.They want to bring more ppl in game and that will happen only with trinity because ppl want to have the ability to choose a role in game and not play only one that the rest of the players forces you to if you want to be in a group.

i gave all my gold to change hair colour on two alts twice(for me rich in gw2 is 500g since i dont care for ascented or legentary).I never save money on any mmo.I dont like just to have money on a character and not use them.So every time i get more than 100g i convert them to gems and buy something cheap from store for the fun.

Yes.More choices is always better than none.

That we dont get a release date and ppl will lose interest for hot.Market is competitive and some other mmos wil get major updates with new content before gw2 even announce beta.

Whats the point of adding pets if only a select few is useful.

The whole game is based on farming new skins and buy aesthetics.So why not?

Just lvl up through eotm.Its way better atm.
