Is it me or is the signet of restore does not work on Channeled skill.

What do you call very close.. I’m assuming exotic gear for this btw and is pre-wvw also pre-food or food included? Cuz if pre-food and no ascended gear + infusions there is no way you can ever have 2k attack, 85% cdmg, and 2600 armor all in the same build. Ele has base 18xx armor and base 916 toughness.. to get to 2600 you need to be at around 1500+ toughness.. thats 600 from gear. Assuming you get no more than 100 from earth that means 500 from gear = full main stat toughness armor and half mainstat toughness trinkets.. or full secondary stat toughnesss armor and trinkets..
For 85% crit damage assuming 10 base from 10 air you need 75%.. Full zerk trinkets + weapons and scholar runes would only give you 45% and maybe 60% if you go ruby jewels in trinkets.. However even with only 45% 2600 armor is impossible to reach.. then finally you want 2k attack. Only way to reach the numbers you want you gonna need main stat toughness alot, there is no points in fire on d/d and if you go celestial/knights/cavalier on any pieces you are going to be severly lacking power.. only gonna reach 1700 ish or so. Then you are forced to run scholar + ruby jewels to make up for the power and that will again make it impossible to get to 2.6k armor and 85% crit damage.. Mind you also want 16k hp which means u need more vitality than just 30 water. Meaning a few soldier pieces or celestial pieces and you want 30% crit which even if you use accuracy sigil + 10 air means you need about 17 % still from gear which is around 350+ precision from gear..

you wont see alot of Eles post build. so it is hard to know what is rite for you.

Its has been bothering me since developers announce the nerf.
i have manage to craft all my ascended crit damage armor. the following day Anet announce the nerf. i was really shatter all that time and gold invested gone. i feel like it is useless.

I was wondering if Anet plan to have a Once off stat change option when the Nerf comes in?

i am trying to get back in to D/D kinda got over being a heal bot.

it all depend on how much u think u need to survive.
reading from few forums it seems that most people tend to aim minimum 30% crit chance and work from there.

at the moment i am finding it a bit hard to reach some of the numbers for 0/10/0/30/30

what i look for Pre WvW buffs.
armor: 2600
Prec: 30%
HP: 16k
Crit daamge: 85%
attack: 2k

i seem to get very close to the numbers but still not good enough.

i have manage the numbers on a different built but i sacrificed attune time and EA.

i am assuming you also have +5 power on each of your weapons. 3162 Attack
+5 toughness to all your Armor +30
+5 toughness on your 3 trinkets +15
+5 Prec on you 3 trinkets.

you know what else i noticed. when you are down and use Vapor form you get interrupted seen it happen few times with unsteady earth when i am downed and try to run back the keep or tower portals.

i did not notices this new armor set until yesterday.

what does every1 think about it. is it worth making?

its main stat being Power with precision and healing power

unfortunately after completing my set a day later, Anet announced the Crit damage nerf At the same time changes to the runes. hence the reason for the orbs.

im kinda leaning towards Malendru rune but there is some damage loss.

where should i exactly aim my damage/armor/heath?

well I am a bit surprised Anet fixed this promptly. if only Lingering Elements? took this long to fix.

I believe at some point, traits that mimicked utilities were not affected by traits that affected utilities until recently, but they have started to change this in favor of allowing traits to affect utility effects as well.
I think I read that somewhere anyway.

if you double left click it takes all of the salvage kits and if you drag and drop then you can pull them out one by one..

edit: just tested a few time, used up all my virtues so they go in cd. Then i dodgeroll, as soon as I see my toon rolling I spam RF, all my virtues go off cd as expected. I don’t see any bugs.

edit2: wait, I see what you mean now, if I use RF, then immediately dodge, RF goes on CD and virtues don’t recharge :O I’ll test this a few more times

edit3: okay I think this is more of a design issue than a bug. Virtues recharge at the very end of RF, so interrupting RF at any stage will prevent the virtue from recharging. The reason it goes on full cd when it is interrupted (by dodge rolling or otherwise) is because RF gives invul during channel. If it doesn’t go on full cd it will be easily abused as on demand invul with short cd. So what they should do is make RF recharge virtues at the beginning or makes sure it happens when the skills goes on cd.

well what do you think is it a bug since u tested it? i mean that 1 dodge is a heal.

i have notice that when i use my virtues and activate my Elite “Renewed Focus” soon after i perform a dodge. it seems that my elite is used my my virtues are not recharged.

is this a bugged? or is this how its meant to work?

basically dodge rolling while having the elite activated does not charge the used virtues.

Quick question here. “Right-hand strength” (15% crit-hit) does that also mean off hand also has 15% chance or just main hand use?

Had a blast today. We made a small size group consisting of WM and Meow giving FA and TC their moneys worth. the amount of ppl we had vs Massive TC and FA zerg was just a amazing effort. I have captured few of them and may post it.

So tonight in EB I saw some fellow Kaineng players claim that a lot of our WvW population quit because they were tired of TC and FA teaming up against us. My palm hit my face so hard I think I hurt my neck…

i don’t know but if i was to speculate it is quite possible outbreak of a war in north east Asia could drop the players numbers down since one of the main guild is based there. i don’t know maybe it could be other reasons. but the population drop is noticeable.

As for quitting reason TC and FA farming KN. that’s is a load of croc.

there was ppl defending it we did a whole circle around SM reasonable amount a group of pugs did get wiped. and every angle was covered with siege. it was like the Weekend SM BG did the same when KN was defending.

On YBBL there is a swarm that comes to north camp and takes it, camps us for a few minutes….then retreats for us to take it back before swooping in to zergball it again.

I guess at least it gives both sides something to do, but it almost feels like how a hamster must see the wheel in the cage….“I guess I can do this cause it beats staring at the wall”.

This whole fiasco of weeks needs to end sooner rather than later, or ANet will have a very very unruly and justifiably upset community on their hands.

That treb hitting Quintin has been the same treb all week. I think we’ve come to the conclusion that its a bot.
The only thing that makes me think otherwise is that the treb shots aren’t always exactly the same. But who knows. Would have to be only mildly incorrect to make that randomness occur.

I’m a sad panda. On AR BL with ma lil group of PRO having a blast defending Bay against an easy 2:1 odds zerg from AR. Bay all broken with no supplies. Then all of a sudden…no more AR zerg to fight. Thought the fun was over and all of a sudden ole NS zerg hits DR BL with 8 golems. They trash through Hills, then Bay before PRO could rally up what few we have late night along side a handful of other DR gamers. NS managed to plow through the outter gate at Garrison, then in literally less than 2—3 minutes all 8 golems were dead, the big zerg all wiped. One and then NS bounces to EB. =(

AR i can understand leaving, it was very late and most of em id imagine stayed up way later than norm and PRO and the few other gamers with us were giving them a heck of a hard time on their map. i was ready to log maself, but it was just too fun to leave.

NS…wha? Try to PvDoor late night for points, your zerg get owned and golems thrashed…and you bail the map after one little fight Jump to EB and PvDoor there? Aw come on, I was told you all were much better than that!

We left your BL coz we only had 2 towers and our keep left At EB. Also we are the nite crew. We were done for the nite when we took AR eb keep Sm and some parts of the dr towers. And manage to place our selfs 2nd place.

Not sure if it has been mention but i noticed that if an elem has a swift buff. It does not seem to stack with mesmers swift buff Only. But it works other way around. Is this a bug or is it how its ment to work

i hate grinding but i must do it in-order to get mats and coins. I though i never say this but i seriously cant farm. i go to cursed shore and what do you know there is bloody BOTS everywhere by the time i cast a spell and mobs are all dead. i leave the zone to go somewhere else and guess what there are bots there too. i have never seen so many bots

i am not sure if there is anything been done but these bots are cutting Anets lunch.
