another solution i found was run the program as administrator.

Yesteday evening went ok without disconnects or spikes.
If the problem returns i’l contact anet support.

What i notice at this hop is that it does answer, but in only about 40% of the time.
I would expect a router to either answer, or not answer at all (100% loss).

i have lots of disconnects to since yesterday.
i attached a pingplotter graf.
Am i correct the problem lies with the router at ip 213.46.182.142 (hop 6)?

This is a router in the netwerk of my isp (Ziggo)

if you suspect your memory you could check it with memtest86.
you can download it from http://www.memtest.org

seems some people had luck with opening ports on their router.

well i can asure you when you have for instance a virus that mass mails from your pc you will be affected by it.

You should scan your pc for malware and virusses.
Do you ever scan with anti malware programs? you will be amazed with the finds lol.

its allways a good idea to scan your computer with 2 different virus scanners.
As the second one, use a online scanner from eset or trendmicro or some other
anti virus manufacturer.

You should scan with a anti malware scanner like malwarebytes as well.

When your pc totaly locks up i think you have some hardware problem.
check processor and vidcard temperatures while playing the game.
clean out the dust from your pc
check your memory with a program like memtest86 (http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm)

maybe check your pc for adware as well with malwarebytes (malwarebytes.org)

i like raids, and i did them on a regular basis in age of conan, with the guild i was in then.
They did sunday evening raiding with guildies who wanted to come along.

Only toth amon(i think he was called) they did with a special team.
It was allways fun to do the raids with them.

Think i will do them in gw2 as well when i find a cool guild that suits my needs.
In gw1 we did all of the hard content with the guild, without forcing builds on to people. We were just a group of fun loving people that took their time to
get things done.

when you want to pug it, its like in gw1, if you dont run a so and so build and have
so and so experience you cant come( some even would say your scrub).

You could try to form your own group, but i doubt it will work for raids.

i would start with testing the memory of your new system with a program like memtest86.
let it at least do a full pass( a few hours is better) and see if it finds any errors.

lavasofttcpservices64 is the culprit.

if you cant uninstall the program try run malwarebytes.

go to the support page and choose ‘submit a request’

raids arent restricted by the game itself, but by other players.
Its some players who want you to have experience, have specific gear or else….

The same goes for specific builds, its other players who want you to run that,
not the game.

This ‘run this build or your a noob’ was allready present in gw1

In gw1 our guild did all of the dungeons in hm, without any specific build or team setup, just go in and have fun 8-)

The same is possible in gw2, as long as you have a cool guild or a cool group
of friends to play with.
And in the future raids will probably also be pugable.

i think they should have kept the armor phylosophy of guildwars 1.
Then there would be no armor treadmill since all are equal.

im a very casual solo player(mostly) , and i still have to craft my last ascended armor
piece for my necro.
My other 2 toons dont even have ascended armor.

download malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org, run it and have it clean everything it finds out of order.

To be 100% sure you could start windows in safe mode, and then run malwarebytes.

check if something (maybe wireing) is in the way of a Fan.

did you check your cpu and gpu temparatures?

yesterday evening went ok. even teq went wel.

just did Jormag and had horrible skill lag. skills not responding at all, or taking like
more then a second to execute. very nice 8-)

gonne try Jormag in 20 minuts to see if i stay connected during a event as well.

started at teq, took ages to log back in.
now im disconnected about every minut or so

i used to have this problem with gw1.
i use a hd tv as a monitor, and it was caused by scaling.
the tv was trying to scale all the time, and the driver didnt have
a scaling setting i could adjust. had to use a registry setting to force the driver
to see it as a monitor.

The newer drivers do have one. You could try the ‘no scaling’ setting.

are you going through a proxy?

my observation is that teq fails because we were used to it being so easy.

fingers kill the zerg that stands in the crit spot, so no crit damage, or to little.

I think if dedicated teams get organised for doing the different stuff (like killing fingers asap), he is definitly killable.

i didnt read the whole thread, maybe its mentioned before, but skills dont fire correctly.
when you press for instance skill 2, you see it starting, and then nothing.
Skill is still charged, and didnt fire. I have this on my necro, and warrior, on all skills.
What i notice that this is mostly at events with a lot of people.

i had like 3 gw1 accounts in the old days, and on all 3 all expensions.

I can relate to people finding the price to high, by i think its fine the way it is.

i would start with running malwarebytes. ( www.malwarebytes.org)

Most of the players are friendly is my experience.

A few sometimes go balistic when things dont go the way they want.
That comes with being anonymous sitting behind your pc.

do you have the /repair or -repair command line option in your shortcut?

right click on the gw2 shortcut → properties
in the target area field theres someting like ..\guild wars 2\gw2.exe

does it say ..\guild wars 2\gw2 /repair (or -repair) ?

remove the /repair part and save.

since the patch the tradepost is very sluggish.
sometimes its so sluggish, that when i click somewhere(like how much gold, silver or copper i want for a trade), the
mouse thinks its still somewhere else, and other things happen then i wanted.
I got used to it lol.

what you have in your video when you buy the scraps is the same as what i experience.
It used to be a lot faster and more responsive.

when you started chrome, and it doesnt do anything, open taskmanager, and stop the process for all instances of chrome.exe.

then try again to start it.
